We took my wifes car to Gerber and I was very happy with them. Wyman kept us informed of prices all along the way. Unfortunately her car was considered totaled but I couldnt have felt anymore comfortable doing business with this company.

We were thoroughly pleased with the service Wyman provided to us after our collision. Our car was taken to Gerber by our insurance, Allstate. From there Wyman delivered a timely, under 24 hours, estimate for repair. At this point our insurance lost interest in helping us, by Wyman didnt. When he heard that our insurance was giving us the run around, more than a week after our accident, he jumped in and advocated on our behalf. He ensured he spoke with his contacts at Allstate, he followed up with them daily and continued to keep us informed of his progress. When it wasnt his job to walk us through the process, it was our insurance agents, he was there to help us recover and ensure we had answers to our most pressing questions. I dont often write reviews, however with the TOP NOTCH, above expectations service I received from Wyman could not go unnoticed. I did speak with his manager and complimented his great work. Thank you Wyman, you helped us when many wouldnt.

Gerber is a large company, but each location has local techs and personnel. With all of the hail damage in our area, they were able to have vehicles trucked to nearby locations in order to reduce the wait time to get in a shop. They do great work. You cant tell there was ever damage. They worked great with State Farm, I didnt need to make any additional phone calls once my vehicle was in the shop.

Work completed very well and done sooner than anticipated. Only issue I had was that lack of communication/transparency. Was provided 1 quote, but they were forced by the by my insurance company that they needed to use the quote I recieved from another business. Was informed in pick up of hidden damage found and fixed, I feel I shouldve been informed of this prior to repairs being made. Had a bulb issue after pick up, brought back the next day and fixed without issue.All in all, not a horrible experience, and will more than likely give them a 2nd chance in the future if I need collision repair services.

Ive had five accidents do to people sliding on ice and deer over the last 4 years Gerber has handled every single repair they are prompt helpful friendly very honest and do excellent work. They work with the insurance company and their work is guaranteed Ive gone back 4 something as simple as a tail light bulb that kept burning out after repair and they ended up replacing the entire light no extra charge. They even set up my rental car for me and helped me get pickup and delivery service.

Used Gerber from my list of Excellent Service providers from my insurance company. Getting an appointment was easy, the staff was nice and knowledgeable. Getting the estimate took no time at all and they handled all the insurance backend paperwork and payment. The best part was when my car was done being repaired it looked new. You wouldve never known there was any damage. I will be using them in the future if I need anymore work done.

My truck was there 5 times for the same repairs (they could not get done correctly). Customer service and workmanship was atrocious.They did everything as cheap as possible cutting corners. Had to take my vehicle to another repair shop to get done correctly. I would not send my worse enemy to this shop for anything. Never received one in-person apology for all the mistakes and MY personal time invested. Wish they had negative stars to give for this repair shopUpdate to the response below...Your marketing manager Paul did call and the excuse train is still running strong. I would recommend taking out your frustrations on the employees doing the low quality work instead of customers....customer service 101.My truck ended up at Gerber 7 times and work was rushed and poor as usual. Low quality work and trying to pull fast ones on customers is no way to stay in business...refer back to all the pictures and emails from me the past 9 months this mess has gone on. There is a reason my truck has been there that many times...it sure wasnt because of quality work . I hope others reading this think twice about going to Gerber

The friendly service reviews posted here are either from when Smeads was located here or theyve had staffing changes. Our insurance company guided us to this location since they were in the Caring Hands Network. We certainly did not feel cared for. The body work was not as advertised and the mechanical repairs failed in less than a week. The customer service in trying to resolve the situation was less than professional.I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Awesome experience & my dealership actually recommended Autobody USA. I chose Gerber for my Yukon’s body work & they handled 100% of my insurance claim and arranged for my temporary rental car. Nothing worse than having to deal with car repairs - Gerber made it totally enjoyable. Efficient, friendly, professional.

Car was brought here for insurance reasons. Car was in worse shape after the accident than before. Also staff is very rude and disrespectful. Will lie straight to your face. For example, car was towed here with no keys from the towing company. Brought the keys in on a belt loop. Was returned the keys with no belt loop. Asker about where the belt loop went and was told that the keys were the same way they were brought in which was a lie. The first lady was arguing with me when lady 2 decides to come over and say that the keys were the same way they got them from the towing company so I should take it up with them. I said is that a fact?. She sneered, yes!. I said, well yanno the towing company didnt have the keys and I brought the keys in myself so you just lied straight to my face. Then a guy who was sitting at his desk listening the whole time and he had a resting angry face and then yelled at me to check my car for the belt loop. Then I go out there and the FLOOR mats were on the seats with all the dirt covering the seats and console. Worse customer service ever. If you get your car shipped here for insurance reasons, I would suggest getting another opinion. They also totaled the car but it was obvious that they thought because they totaled it, that I had no intention of salvaging my impala. Well I did, bought it back from the insurance company and the car was just atrocious like the customer service.

I was in an accident on Sept 5. My Insurance company had Gerber as their preferred shop. Since I had never had to use a body shop before, I trusted my insurance company to pick a good garage.Gerber contacted me on Sept 9th after the repair estimate was prepared to come down and sign paperwork authorizing them to do the repairs. I did this on Sept 9 and was told the repairs would be done by Sept 26. This was longer than most repair time estimates that I could find but I was confident that Progressive would choose a good shop, so I accepted this, this was definitely my mistake. While at Gerber, I asked them about repairs for some hail damage repair and if they could complete this while my car was in the shop without extending the completion date. Gerber told me they would have a quote to me for those repairs the following day Sept 10. On Sept 11, I called them to find out where my quote was and was told it would be another day. On Sept 13th I called back and was told that the gentleman that did those repairs was gone for the weekend and It would be Monday the 16th before I would have a quote. On Tuesday, the 17th, I called them and told them to forget about providing a quote and to just finish my car for the accident repairs.On Sept 24th, the shop called me to tell me that the car was being re-assembled and it would be ready for me on the 26th. This was a relief, albeit a short lived one. On the 25th I was contacted by the insurance adjuster to tell me that the car would not be done on the 26th but the shop updated him that it wouldn’t be done until the 30th. In less than 24 hours it appeared a lot had changed with Gerber Collision. On the 27th, the shop contacted me to tell me they did not know when the work would be completed. I went from getting my car back on the 26th, to the 30th and now to ??????? all in a 48 hour time period.Next update from Gerber was on Oct 1. I was told they were reassembling the car (2nd time) and it would be back together and out to the dealership for balancing and alignment and it would be complete on Oct 4. On Oct 4 Gerber called to tell me that the car was not completely back together but should be completed on that day but it would not get to the dealership until Monday 7th and maybe the dealership will be able to complete it for me to pick up on Monday.Oct 7th, I received a call from my insurance company after filing a complaint and telling them they would no longer have me for a customer for referring me to this incompetent, unprofessional body shop. I was informed that they had personally spoken to the body shop and the car was being reassembled (3rd time) and would be done on the 9th. I am writing this before the 9th so I cannot speak to the condition of the repairs but I am taking it to another body shop for inspection as I have absolutely no faith that this poor excuse for a business has any knowledge of quality.Do not use this company!!!

I brought a black mazda 6 About a year ago, I can tell you That I had to reassemble every single Part that the mechanic worked on simply because it fell apart! Wheel well popped off and started dragging on my tire, Bumper popped off in a intersection (no collision mimimal velocity) and I ended up replacing it myself, Luckily 20$ Body pins on amazon saved me; Im not sure If the incorrect pins were used, Or If the parts were assembled poor, But It looked great at first... Im disapointed.

Great job on body work, however I took my truck in to the dealer and they found a broken control arm as well that now has caused more damage to my truck. To top it off they close at 5 and have no answering machine to even leave a message.
