I would like to recognize Dana. Dana was an associate working in the self check out on 11/2/21. Two weeks prior to shopping there today she went above and beyond to help me find a phone charger I was looking for. Today while again going through self check out she remembered me and asked me if everything was okay and if i found everything I was looking for and actually remembered helping my wife and I on the previous shopping trip. What a joy to find associates so willing to make customers shopping experiences so pleasant. Dana is a credit to Walmart and deserves to be recognized for being so special. Thank you Dana, its because of you we will continue to shop at this location, God Bless You!

Customer service could work on their guest service. At least pretend to care. Dont pull out your phone in front of customers and start texting. We have been waiting in line and last thing we want to feel is that the associate doesnt care about our time; when we are already giving up enough time. Management responds quickly and the store is nice neat and quiet though so thats a plus. ☺️

Out late, needed bacon and chocolate milk for next days breakfast. Parked and was turned away from the door at 10:50PM. Hours are supposed to be until 11PM. Was told they lock the doors at 10:45 and only let people out after that. At least two other potential customers were turned away. It wont let me give zero stars. Maybe they figure posting a guy outside to turn customers away early is better than not posting a guy outside and deserves one star.

I’ve been here on four different occasions to use the deli. Three time in was closed in the middle of the advertised operation time. One time it was 10 minutes before it was closed and the employee told me they had closed earlier to clean. It’s a sad moment for our society.

I really like this little Walmart. Its small but has everything you need. Quick self check out.

I went to the gas station after hurricane Ida. As expected there were lines but the professionalism of the crew is what stood out on this particular visit. KUDOS! This is my post hurricane gas station.

Unfortunately this store is hard to keep stocked. Not very clean either. It needs updating and brighter lighting. Employees are the bright spot to this store. Employees are helpful and kind.

Store was pretty clean today.. theres usually stuff all over the place. Restocking employees dont really care about the customers trying to get what they need. They have their earphones in, either talking or singing. But, today that wasnt the case. What a surprise. I was able to get in & get out. Which is why these smaller Walmarts exist.

It was fine except for the wait lines they have more people watching you checkout they should open a register.

A long line of customers and only one cashier helping customers.... Also the self checkout units closed! Please Walmart, correct this.

Since being in Baton rouge the shelves at most Wal-Mart stores here are scarce but this store is very clean and stocked better

Its a good place to shop I do recommend this place. Not as much stuff as the big wal mart store obviously but still a nice selection.

This location has steadily been getting better and better. The employees are friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience much more pleasant. The prices are low, and even though the selection is small its great for a quick trip.

Theres a young lady who works self checkout thats absolutely amazing at her job. I have very few problems with this Walmart. The standards for produce are pretty high, and the prices are unmatched.Not bad for a corporate overlord.

Really thought we were walking into something nice... They get you when you first walk in thinking its nice and spacious... NOPE!! WORST just about as ghetto... Its smaller stuff in the aisle so made it harder to walk through it.... Still had people just standing around talking in your way...

The only reason I use this store is because it is the closest Walmart to where I live. Other then proximity I wouldnt care to use this store due the the unkept nature of store along with the store inability to keep the store stocked.

Its clean, well staffed, and stocked. I love this Walmart and I like spending my money here. Also fair prices and better deals than other Walmarts, which I didnt know was possible.

Went to this store with someone else and almost got ran over by the people and the baskets.lol But while looking around, it seems the veggies were plentiful and fresh. I would rather take my time in the super Walmart and I get more of a selection.

Store Manager was great

The manager was extremely rude. The employees tried their best. When I had spoken to a manager about a return they used every single excuse not to exchange the product. when right in front of her I have pointed out that the items was returnable or exchangeable she said NO! And she walked away with a rude attitude. This is not how you treat your customer. Their customer service are horrible I will never recommend for anyone to shop at that Walmart. Human Resources needs to educate their managers and how to treat customers.

Pick up service is good. But I dont like having to go inside to pay because their machine is broken.

I love it because it clean the restrooms are clean the peoples are friendly and helpful the one on 5255 highland Rd.baton ROUGE.La.its not crowded as much and its not to far from where i live.

Decent place to go for just groceries I will walk the walk. Every now and again the selection is a little bit lower or they may be out of a thing or two but overall enough to get your groceries at any given point. Police dog with Bakery, Deli, and a butcher.

Stopped in for organic veggies. Had what I needed. Quick checkout.

This Walmart may not have a lot of groceries in their stores sometimes but one thing for sure they have the best employees that should be payed more than the manager there. Their very friendly and they are very helpful too.

Easily wheelchair accessible with good parking. Friendly staff. Very helpful at the money counter. They accept cash credit card and food stamps of course and the lines were not long.

Even thought it does not have everything that a Super Walmart have, still a really good place to buy your groceries and medicine

Manager Debo SAVED THE DAY!Manager on Duty at the time of my visit just happened to just outside of the front entrance provided me with a face mask because I had left my face mask at home. That evening I had stayed at a local hotel which was located within walking of the Neighborhood Walmart. After checking into the Motel late in the evening, I walked to the Walmart and after entering the parking lot and realizing that I forgot to bring my face mask, I approached the front of the store and after greeting the manager Debo and explaining to him about my leaving my mask at home, GAVE ME A MASK so that I did not have to walk all the way back to retrieve mine.Thats one way that Neighborhood Walmart is helping me ! Thank you, Debo and Neighborhood Walmart !

Ive been disappointed lately at this Walmart. Tonight I witnessed employees not following CDC and state pandemic guidelines, so I shouldnt be surprised some customers werent following them either, right? Whats the point of wearing a mask if its under your nose, under your mother. I think too many of us are missing the point.

Cant deny a place when icecream is available.

A void, I was staying at the local hotel and stopped in for a few supplies and found that the entire experience was Horrible. You would ask for help to find an item the associate will tell you that the item was in the back and has not been brought out yet and just walk away like you never wanted the item in the 1st place.

Visit wasnt too bad but there were a lot of people walking around with no mask on....one was even coughing...not coming back here no more....

I found everything I was looking for. However, there were multiple items that were above a price tag that was incorrect. So I suggest a customer has the Walmart app to check the prices accurately.

This is one of my favorite stores.

It was very clean and neat. The staff was very nice.

1)Asked if an item was in stock - employee doesnt even look up from her phone to tell me, No, we dont got any.... 2)Tried to buy a Boost phone and plan for an older relative, no one anywhere near the electronics. Another gentleman was looking for help also. I called the front desk to ask them to send someone when I saw a small box that said to push for help. Employee came right away, but knew nothing about the phones or plans. Said the Boost people werent there and they never know when they are coming. 3)Went to another Walmart; had to wait for two employees to finish their conversation (not work related) before one looked up at me. He was polite... ish. He kept his phone in front of him and kept looking at it while I was trying to talk to him. He knew nothing about the phones or plans either, only that, There used to be someone that came in and knew everything about them.

Good little Walmart to go to and very convenient for me.

Neighborhood Walmart is always the easiest to have small trips especially when mostly doing a trip for just food

No handicap scooters work. Most of the workers were rude. There was only 1 that was nice and she was working the self check out..

Whats to say about Walmart that hasnt been said before? Well this location is very clean, very organized, has really fresh produce, and good prices. There are alot of lines to check out and even some self checkouts. The only thing I can say negatively is that I was shopping for about 30 minutes walked by about 6 employees and even the checkout crew and no one said hello and asked me how I was doing. Its sometimes the little things that make a difference. But overall its a great location with very good products I recommend it.

Pretty good. Everything was easy to find. The items I wanted was in stock. The staff was helpful to get an item off the top shelf for me. He was pleasant and assisted without hesitation. The store was clean and neat. Check out was quick and easy.

The cashier loaded too many cans, 8, into one plastic bag. I had to take some out and re-bag. One such bag broke at the car. She also started ringing-up the next customer before I could get all of my groceries and move. Confusion: the customer reached for my meat; her meat was in another bag. Really? Why the rush? Not good at all.

Went here for the first time and the lady was nice to grab what I needed out of the back because they didnt have what I needed on the shelf. And I didnt even have to ask.

The best thing about this (and most) Walmart is Grocery Pickup. This prevents me from ever having to step foot in the store again. It also means I dont have to park 1/2 mile away, and I no longer make impulse purchases. You get the low prices without the Walmart experience. Other grocers would be wise to copy this.Amendment: Today I placed an order for pickup between 5 & 6 pm. I arrived at 5, but did not receive notice that the order was ready for pickup until about 5:20. The order was not actually brought out until 6. This eliminates the convenience of Grocery Pickup. I guess like every Walmart Ive ever been in customer service takes a backseat to payroll. The guy who brought the order explained that its like this every Friday and Saturday: one guy handling all orders. So...something to consider.

This is your quick stop neighborhood walmart. You can find just about anything here.

Pharmacy tech were very corteous greet you with a smile very pleased.

So, its Walmart. Expectations set.But dont come to this one if youre claustrophobic. Starting with the worst designed parking lot in Baton Rouge. Then inside, aisles are super cramped. Dont even think about heading all the way over to health and beauty, which feels like they have 10 rows in the space of 5.Lucky you if you catch a self-check.I try to avoid it always, but especially at night, when it feels packed out.

They dont want to get the baskets and they dont want to help. They just want you to get them fired so they can collect unemployment.

I really love this place. Its a quick stop to do some grocery shopping. It is always clean. And the cashiers and the workers are always nice and willing to help you find whatever you need. So if you have to make a quick stop to pick up groceries stop by your neighborhood Walmart it is a great place to shop. And the lines are always open.

This one isnt to bad

I love this Walmart. It is smaller but has exactly what I need. The employees are really nice, especially the pick up employees.I have never had to wait long at all. I gave it four stars because I had an employee, Marcia, who was so rude. I was scared to even speak because she was barking rude things at customers behind me. I hate how I even have to put something negative but maybe management can see this and address the issue.

This was my 1st time being in that particular Walmart & I was very pleased. It was clean,& the employees were very friendly & helpful. One employee asked my daughter if she needs tissue cause she sneezed. Thats going beyond service!! Will definitely go back!!

Very helpful as in deli area, they looked for my blue cheese crumbled, and in dairy area located my Great Value plain Greek Yogurt

The Neighborhood Wal-Mart at Old Hammond and Airline is well stocked and has the friendliest staff.

Poor customer service all around. Hard to navigate with stockers blocking the way everywhere. Great Value, though.
