I am located in Virginia and recently had a situation that the local offices here were not able to help me with. I spent hours on the phone with Verizon as well as sitting in a store for an hour and still not receiving the assistance needed. I was referred to Nick by someone who had been thru a difficult experience and had fortunately found Nick, and was so impressed they referred me to him. I have to say I am equally as impressed! Nick had my situation resolved in minutes! And then had a Verizon person contact me to complete the resolution. His efficiency, knowledge, and professionalism was stellar! I highly recommend anyone needing a new service and /or new phone to call Nick. And, I would like to profusely thank Nick for resolving my situation that I had been dealing with for about 4 weeks. I have worked in customer service for a long time and I have very high standards. I expect the service I give: smiles, genuine conversation, and a good attitude. Genuine care. I walked into this store hoping to get some info on updating my phone and Zach S was incredibly helpful. He helped me find the best deals for what I needed, made suggestions when appropriate, and he didnt try to swindle me out of every last cent I have. I very much appreciated having him as a service rep today and I plan on coming back to the Bangor Verizon in the future.

My wife and I went in not really expecting much, but we were curious to see about joining our plan together to save money. Anyways long story short we spent a good amount of time there, an received the best service ever. My NEW phone was in Newport and THEY DROVE to get it right away and brought it to Bangor. Set it up and everything. Best care for a phone store you could ask for.

I feel like the sales associate was not clear with all of the fees and charges. He also put the most expensive coverage on my bill with out asking me. I was also charged activation fees for 3 phones without being informed, so imagine my surprise when I received the first bill. I called the associate I worked with to share my shock, he said the manager is usually good about waiving the fees for good customers. I have been a loyal customer for several years now, but apparently the manager wasnt willing to help me. Soo...my most recent phone purchase was my last because I am extremely disgusted with all the fees and charges that come along with the high price tag.

My boyfriend and I went in today to get him a new phone, with the idea of possibly joining plans and upgrading my phone as well. Zach went above and beyond to cover all of our plan and upgrade options as well as assuring we had the right protection for our new devices. He spent a lot of time to make sure we walked out there comfortable with our new phones. Zach as well as Verizon wireless zone in Bangor made this experiences very smooth and enjoyable for us. After a terrible experience trying to get our new phones set up at our local Belfast Verizon, we decided to drive up to this outlet in Bangor and we are sure glad we did! Zack Lavway went above and beyond to help us out. He is an absolute gem! Not only did he set both of our phones up perfectly but he also put on our screen protectors and cases. We are so thankful for Zacks help and expertise. We wont go to any other Verizon store from now on. 10 out of 10 for customer service, friendliness, expert help, and all around good vibes. A++

Why do they make it so hard to buy a phone? None of the phones have placards next to them so you know the model #, specs and price. Instead, you have to open a Price Check app on the phone itself to see this. Most of the phones did not have the app in the notification panel so I couldnt even get basic info. On the phones I was able to open the Price check app, it would just show a bunch of advertisements. I couldnt figure out how to get it to go the price page. Why do they make shopping so difficult? I shouldnt have to ask the guy at the counter for basic information about every single phone. I got fed up and left.

Very friendly and willing to help however i went in to add a new line for my father and was told i could change my plan and go up to 8g of data and save appx $11 off my plan even after adding another phone, got my bill and it was $57 higher than what i was paying, went back and was told he forgot to add one of my existing lines into total, got it down to $44 higher than previous then said if i sign up for direct pay i would get an additional $30 off my bill which would make it $14 more than original but after signing up my bill only dropped $15, still paying way over what i was told.. wootton wouldnt have added line if i knew it would go up this much, will likely leave Verizon after my 2yr plan is up...

I came into my local retail Verizon Wireless retail store to upgrade my business iPhone and service. The sales rep who assisted me, Zachary Shirland, did a fantastic job. He helped me select the best plan based on my usage, saved me money, took the time to teach me how to use my new iPhone 11, transferred all of my data and installed a protective glass and case. That’s awesome customer service and the complete sales package. Zachary is a keeper!

Horrible customer service. Wouldnt fix the mistake their employee had caused. Were being charged almost $100 more than what was quoted. We will be going to US cellular after over a decade with Verizon because of their mistake.

I came in to pay my bill today. I had a prepaid. Im leaving today, with a brand new phone and tablet. Paying less than Id planned and with a completely affordable plan for both devices. Zach is the man. He was helpful every step. Accessories and all. I usually dread going into wireless stores because they are always trying to upsell you. But Zach was awesome. Showed me what I could do in the future if I wanted to. I wasnt planning on doing this today, but Zach made it worth it.

After already having numerous issues and being on the phone for over 5 hours with Verizon customer support, we were told we could come in and pick up a Samsung Galaxy S10 and that the team in store would call to fix the issues we had been having.Upon arrival, the salesman Zach countlessly tried to upsell us to a different phone even after being told that we had done our research. Then proceeded to tell us that we would have to call customer support to fix our issue, despite what they had told us on the phone. On top of that, they then told us that they didnt actually have the phone in stock, and tried to upsell us again.Ive worked retail, Ive worked customer service, but of course that doesnt make me an expert at either. What I do know, is that the treatment we have received both in store and over the phone is inexcusable. My advice to others is this, if you have to stick with Verizon, go to a different location, no matter the drive. If you dont have to, then leave immediately.Edit: After about 2 more hours on the phone with Verizon, and finally resolving the issue. I went to Best Buy and was treated so well and not just as a bag of money. Plus, you can get better pricing there.

Exellent customer service, i ordered an upgrade through them in store but UPS messed up the delivery. The reps at the store went above and beyond and went and found me a replacement phone at an out of town store and made the rest of the process very smooth, ill be returning here for all of my phone needs.

This store is the reason my family and I are still with Verizon right now, and we purposely go out of our way to go to this location because of the wonderful staff.They made the transition of adding two high end smart phones to the existing family plan easy, and also helped my parents upgrade off of flip phones and to their first smart phones. Instead of trying to force the latest and greatest on them, they actually listened to what they needed and found them the right phones. They also were sympathetic about my husband and I not being able to port over our old phones or use them for upgrade credits and went out of their way to find us what discounts they could to help make the transition easier. Even when their system was giving them problems trying to get numbers for the new phones, they were apologetic, kept us in the loop, and did everything in their power to make us comfortable.I only wish the Verizon store that was local to me followed the same standard of customer care and experience as this store does. This store is well worth the extra drive.

I will start with the final outcome.After my last call to the store in Bangor, Matt took care of the problem and let me return the phone to Newport. He was very courteous and handled the matter well.Its your choice if you use the Zone but please save the original box and receipt from your new phone should you need to return it. Also, do not send back you old phone until you 100% sure you like your new device.Beware. A Verizon Zone is not a true Verizon Store. Any returns have to be made at a Zone Store. You can not use *611 for Verizon Customer service over the phone for returns or a true Verizon Store for returns it has to be at a zone store. I happened to be in a Zone while on the road and they told me they could give me a new IPhone 5SE for $3 less a month. I said great. I got home and it would not link properly to my 2016 Ford Bluetooth. I called *611 sales for Verizon and was told the Apple and Verizon know about this problem and someday a software patch should fix it. Here is my point Verizon direct knows about the products but the Wireless Zone doesnt! Save your self a headache go online, call or visit a real Verizon store for better service. The Zone is a third party authorized retailer.......BEWARE!Bangor said drive to Newport and exchange the phone their.
