Im with GEICO and had an amazing experience with this body shop. As mentioned in some other reviews, you may have a less favorable experience with other insurance companies, so I would call them and make sure that they have a good history with your insurance company. I drive a MK7 VW GTI and found this place because they were VW Certified.I had what looked to be a minor collision with the front grille, which GEICO estimated to be around $700. I dropped off the car to Marks (they had a 1 week wait initially before a slot opened up) and they quickly gave a re-estimate of over $3000, as the work extended to the entire front bumper and condenser. GEICO approved the following days and they began work. It took 3 business days between approval of the work and completion - and it looks absolutely fantastic. All OEM parts, looks like it just rolled out of the factory - and they even detailed the interior for me!Jason and Tracy are very professional at their jobs and I would never consider taking my car anywhere else so long as I am in the area. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone, especially if you have GEICO. It will be a hassle free and stress free experience.

My vehicle was hit by deer on I-83 in the city running across the highway. Marks has done some work for us in the past and the car was taken to Marks at my request.The communication from the shop was outstanding and kept me aware of the timing on the repair.Nothing prepared me, however, for the quality of the work that made the vehicle look brand new. I was blown away by the outstanding work and attention to detail.As satisfying was the detail of accounting including parts cost and labor cost. I had two cars repaired by Marks. Both repairs came out perfect. I can always count on Marks to have the vehicle repaired the right way. Marks replaced everything that needed to be replaced, matched the color to the teeth, and had my car ready very quickly. The exceptional detail at the end was a great cherry on top. Marks worked hard to honor the original quote (the final bill was higher due to additional damage found on the vehicle). Marks dedication to upholding its integrity and quality is impressive.

Ive gone to Marks Body Shop on two occasions now, and have received excellent service on both occasions. Most recently, I got into an accident in my Honda CR-V. I drive Hondas because theyre very safe cars, and I need the body shop I work with to make sure it stays safe after repairs. Marks is Honda certified, and I never have to worry about that when I bring my car here. They helped me through every step of the process, even assisting me with insurance my claim.Before I came to Marks I didnt really understand how good the service at a body shop could be. Honestly, I was used to having problems every time I went to a body shop. Coming to Marks, I discovered that this is one of those rare family owned and operated businesses that treats their customers like family. They are transparent about every step of the repair process and pride themselves on the quality of the work. I recommend these guys to everyone.

Took my Golf R to Marks in December. The vehicle had sustained an impact on the drivers side front quarter panel and bumper from a hit an run. Jason makes the customer aware ahead of time that Marks estimate and the insurance companies estimate generally dont match up. This may lead to some work on your end with the insurance company, but he does make you aware before they begin work. The staff at Marks is top notch and I would highly recommend Marks to anyone who wants to ensure their car is returned to them the way it was before the accident.

Exceptional service. My Porsche Cayman was rear ended and I live two hours away. I chose Marks because they are known for the skill of the work they do. They were incredibly accommodating when coordinating with me so it was convenient to drop off and pick up my vehicle. They made my vehicle look better then before it was damaged. They worked with the insurance company of the individual who hit me making sure their estimate matched the insurance estimate. Parts were ordered from Germany and they did a great job letting me know when everything would arrive.

We have had phenomenal service every time we visit Mark at Marks Body Shop! This is the only shop in Maryland that I trust to ensure my vehicles are properly repaired, which is extremely important with two little ones in the back seat. My 2 days old BMW X6 got rear-ended pretty badly. I was devastated. The staff of Marks Body Shop was excellent in handling everything. The car was repaired as fast as it was humanly possible, and to be frank I could not tell it was in the accident once Marks Body shop was done with fixing it. Marks Body Shop did a fantastic job repairing our 2014 Audi A4 Quattro. Unfortunately, the car suffered pretty major damage but it was repaired as-new by Marks. Tracy and Jason did a great job keeping us up to date on the repair progress. They worked with my insurance company to seamlessly make sure everything was covered without any trouble what-so-ever. I am very thankful that we sent our car to Marks!

In my first experience with a body shop in decades after my Honda Pilot was damaged by a flat bed tractor trailer I chose to do a lot of homework. It paid off. Excellent body shop for collision repair. The owner and workers (Jason) are consumate about their job of making sure consumer s interests are protected and they get a safely repaired vehicle. My 2012 BMW had extensive damage but my Insurer wanted to push for shoddy repairs and Marks Body shop stood firm. I will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who loves their car.

I was in a minor accident (Hit a deer). I have a Volkswagen so my 24 hour VW roadside Assistance recommended this shop since they are Volkswagen Certified. My insurance did their estimate of the damage as well as the body shop. The estimate from AutoNation was slightly over $13,000.00. Which was $8,400.00 more than the estimate from my insurance company. I fully understand that estimates can differ. At that point I had no choice but to take it to another shop for a second opinion. After paying $1,200 in storage fees (since they had it to do the estimate), I was able to move my vehicle to another Certified VW collision center. Their estimate is $4756.11. It is over an $8,000.00 difference from the estimate from AutoNation. When I got the list from AutoNation that included all of the “absolutely necessary” work that needed to be done, I was in shock. I sent it to VW and they confirmed that quite a bit of “needed work” was not needed at all. I feel as if they tried to scam me to do unnecessary work.Only thing I can say good about this place is that the front desk employees are very friendly and professional, Especially Tracey.

Marks Body Shop is fantastic. I was looking for a Honda Certified collision center after someone rear ended us in our Honda Accord. They held our hand throughout the process and returned our car back like it had never been hit. What most impressed me about them is that they negotiated, read fought with, the insurance company to make sure the vehicle was repaired to Honda safety standards. Go there, you will be extremely happy in the end.

My son is away at collage and he recently had an accident, since I am not familiar with the area I did a ton of research and I came across Marks. Everyone there was very accommodating and they made the whole process very easy. I own a repair facility in NJ and the reason I picked Marks is because they do what is best for the customer, instead of bowing down to insurance demands. If you want a shop that follows the manufactures specifications and doesnt cave to insurance pressure than Marks is the place!

I am from out of town and my son attends college in Maryland. After an accident, the Subaru dealership I cold-called referred me here (September 2018). This shop has a great staff and facility, kept me informed, dealt directly with my Ohio based insurance agent and did an awesome job of repairing my son’s Subaru WRX hatchback. The vehicle needed a new roof. The repair is perfect and they also repaired some miscellaneous paint nicks and re-attached a bumper that was not aligned properly. The vehicle was also fully detailed when we picked it up. The work was not done quick, but it was done right!!

My parked vehicle was hit in my apartment complex (hit and run). AutoNation repaired my SUV very quickly and Im pleased with the results.

Best Body Shop I have ever been to! I never leave reviews for anything but I felt I had to for this because I have never been so happy with any place I have taken my car to. I highly recommend Marks Body Shop to anyone needing body work done to there car. I was rear-ended by another driver and annoyed by the inconvenience of having to go through all the work of finding a body shop and taking it there, getting a rental, etc. I had been in accidents before and gone to the body shop the other driver who hit me recommended and my car was not put back together right and had problems down the road I had to pay for out of pocket. So I had no idea where to take my new car. I looked up Body Shops that were certified to fix my type of car (VW) and found Marks. I read the reviews so that were so good so I decided to take my car there. I was not disappointed. They took care of EVERYTHING! They called Enterprise when I got there so there was a car to pick me up the minute I was finished talking to Jay. He told me it would take about a week to fix and his estimate was double what the insurance adjuster quoted me but he told me not to worry about a thing and it would be taken care of. He called me after only three days to say it was finished. They took care of everything with insurance company and I was even able to leave my rental at their shop and they took care of someone picking it up. Their work is impeccable! They even buffed part of a scratch out that I had on the side of my car that had nothing to do with the accident. Im pretty sure they even detailed the inside. It smelled and looked like a new car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Marks Body Shop to anyone who cares about their car. They are worth every penny. I cannot thank Jay enough for making an unpleasant situation a lot better! 2018 Ara Blue S3 side swipe damage repair. 100% very satisfied customer.I would like to sincerely thank every AUTONATION Collision team member who assisted in the repairs that were made to my personal POV. From start to finish the initial demeanor of consultation and the way they treaded me gave me the confidence that this was the shop I needed to get the proper repairs done. After waiting a couple weeks and a few check ups with Ms. Tracy and Mr. Jason my car was finished. On projected date at that. Now Ive had some issues with payment due to my insurance vendor but that has nothing to do with the work performed on my car, but more of a disagreance between my insurance wanted to pay the higher amount to a shop thats not on their Prefered shop list. Even though the accident wasnt my fault and my dash cams proved it Im still battling the insurance vendor to at least meet me in the middle with my OOPEs.Further more sincerely with the amount I spend away from my family for work and the traveling I do all year round, this Ara Blue S3 is more to me then a blue daily. Its a daily reminder of the ridiculous amounts of work and traveling we have to do in my profession.So again the repairs and delivery of my POV in the timeframe given was very satisfactory and I would highly recommend those with fun or exclusive color Audis/Porsches to utilize this shop when you have suffered any damage.Thanks again guys and also Mr. Mark for helping me on my full carbon induction system. Nothing but outstanding! I have had the unfortunate luck to avail myself to their services twice. Both times they repaired my vehicle better than brand new. I wont allow a tow service to take my car anywhere but Marks. I cant say enought great things about Mark and Tracy as they treat all of their customers professionally and with the right amount of speed and customer service.

Jason was very knowledgable, friendly, & most important honest. The shopi is beautiful and well kept, these guys are downright professional in how they carry themselves and the shop. If your looking for a hookup or cheap fix these arent your guys..but if you care about your car and want some professional work done then I HIGHLY recommended these guys. Marks Body Shop assisted and guided me through the totaling process of my 2006 Ford Fusion. I was shook up from the accident but Mark, Tracy, Jason & Mark Sr. walked me through the process with ease. There is a reason you see so many glowing reviews for Marks Body Shop, they truly treat your car like their own. When Safelite gouged several body panels and leaked adhesive into the trunk, I cringed at the thought of knowing it couldnt ever be repaired without some telltale sign. After I picked up my car, its honestly indistinguishable that the paint isnt factory. Throughout the entire process, Marks was communicative and transparent about the repairs. They insisted on using OEM parts to restore the car in lieu of cutting any corners just to get me out the door. They even gave me advice on how to navigate the insurance company to ensure I was taken care of. The car came back immaculate, clean and polished. Marks has a customer for life and I have no problem recommending them to friends and family.

Received a quote VERBAL only that in my opinion is way over expected and was quoted by new management with a qualification that they need to get into the car to determine if more damage occurred. My prior experience in repairs (I am 55 years old) is when an estimate is provided it is for the total expected, not a preliminary estimate plus unknown. Representative has only been employed three months and suspect business is taking advantage of prior business reputation.Went to another body shop and they performed the repair at one third of the price, $1,150 vs $3.500 +. For Autonation stop estimating repairs at 10% below fair market value of the vehicle. For Autonation let me know if you want know who did the repair at $1,150, so you can access your capabilities..

My experience with Marks body shop was spectacular. This is a place where the staff and its moral compass are pointing true North. Overall, everyone I spoke to, and dealt with, was genuinely concerned and willing to put forth the time and effort to develop a trust and rapport beyond general customer service ideology. I was able to clearly express my concerns, and issues with repairs, and my frustrations in dealing with the insurance companies adjusters and payments. I was introduced to Jason who is truly a swell and knowlegdable individual, who is well versed in their protocols and will look you in the eye, spend his valuable time, going through the processes step by step, incorporating points of importance in ensuring that its not only cosmetic issues and repairs that are of concern with these newer model vehicles but there are safety codes and errors on the computers that must be cleared and reprogrammed so their will never be issue in the system responses in the future when driving or if ever involved in another accident. These are things the insurance companies will overlook and neglect to put in the it estimates. I had a really hard time dealing with the other guys insurance company namely (Liberty Mutual) for the repairs on my brand-new 2015 vehicle of which they wanted to just patch up. Believe me they wanted to pull and paint, no primer either.! Can you believe that? Jason stepped up to the plate with me and for tooth and nail to have these parts replaced accordingly and beyond the so-called standards of repair practices and estimating being utilized by adjusters these days. The process overall although stressful not in part or due to Marks body shop, was actually seamless in terms of their performance. Its refreshing to know that there are people that still have the integrity and care about their procedures and practices and the people who put food on their table. If youre reading this its probably too late for you.By now, you may have realized Marks Auto Body is not a place for regular, working-class people or regular (economy) cars.First, they kept telling me about alternate parts and that they couldnt use alternate parts if I wanted a certified Chevy repair. My ninja, this is a Chevy Cruze, not a Lambo, just make it run so I can reach my full-time job, attend my full-time graduate education, and run my part-time business. I couldnt care less what parts you use. But he just basically said if they didnt use the parts that cost more, they wouldnt be able to stand by their work (no warranty). Not a good look....But secondly, when you try to say the damages are over $8k for a car only worth $9.5k (2011 Chevy Cruze) instead of totaling the car out... Thats what you call a vulture and is mainly the reason why I believe Marks Auto Body needs to take several seats. Shame on Autonation Chevy (now Ourisman Chevy) for referring me to them when I asked them for a Chevy dealership.Marks Auto can respond to this review any way they desire, but pictures dont lie. Attached is a photo of my estimate from Marks Auto (they call it a blueprint) vs a KBB private party valuation. Again, over $8k for a $9.5k (maybe) car. Instead of being honest and totaling it out to begin with, they wanted to go ahead on with the repair.Then they told me multiple times that I would be responsible for paying whatever the at-faults insurance company didnt pay. Yes, I got nervous and scared. I pleaded with them. I told them Im in school and I work, and I dont have enough money to pay the difference (it was 2k after one adjustment). Especially because the accident wasnt my fault! They were NOT having it, lol. I said OK I dont want my car to be here anymore. Then, I was told it would be hundreds of dollars for them to remove my car from their shop. Also, at this point, Im looking on Yelp and seeing reviews from people just like me. Lol, I dont know how their google listing rating is so high?Anyway, I called my insurance company, who declared total loss RIGHT AWAY. Both insurance companies (both at-faults and mine) had nothing but negative things to say about Marks Auto body practices. Greed, its all greed.In the end, I didnt have to pay anything and I was relieved to have Nationwide swoop in and rescue me because I promise you these people over at Marks are like robots with no emotion. Especially, Jason, he is rude when you ask probing questions to get the answers you need.You should probably only come here if you are rich and really, really LOVE your flashy, expensive car. If you have a regular, schmegular economy or commuter car, do NOT come here because they will try to rip you off. Like I said, pictures dont lie.

A deer ran into my 2008 BMW 335i, I had recently purchased the car and in less than 2 days of owning the vehicle this incident happened. I contacted my insurance company (geico) and made the claim, which total out to be very low considering the damages, well the adjuster had added used parts to be installed on my vehicle. Thats when I decided to do some research and find a good bmw certified repair facility, I decided to call marks body shop and gave them a try. I know how important customer service is as a first impression and I was not disappointed by their customer service. Im in the automotive and motorcycle busines and currently work as a service manager in a dealership and after talking to Jason about my cituation I was more than confident that marks body shop was the place to take my vehicle.I was not disappointed, The repairs where done with incredible attention to detail, I couldnt be happier, my car came out better than when I bought it. Incredible work, outstanding customer service and all done by a certified BMW repair facility.Couldnt be happier.

I cant begin to tell you what a positive experience I had working with Marks Body Shop. Its never much fun to have to take your car to a collision repair facility... you never think your car will ever look or dirve the same as it did before an accident. In my case, the accident was a collision between my wifes BMW convertible and a deer. When a friend told me that he recommended my contacting MBS, I thought he was crazy, given that I live in Leesburg, VA. some 70 miles away. The time and miles were well worth it, however. The car is just as beautiful as it ever was.In the process, I learned that the team at MBS are not only masters of body resurrectiion but also of repairing a cars structural components to make your car just as safe as it was when you drove it away from the dealer for the first time. Fortunately, this time, my car only needed cosmetic surgery.
