I needed a tire plugged on a Saturday, and just lucked into this place. Looks kinda run down and really cramped parking lot. I couldnt be happier with the customer service and the quality of work. The mechanic was well spoken, polite and friendly, but more importantly he was smooth and careful doing his job. He knew his stuff. I am really impressed. I will tell my wife to use this place from now on. They do brakes and exhaust, almost anything. I could not recommend this crew strongly enough.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR SERVICE HERE!!!I had my vehicle towed to this business at the end of April 2019 for a new starter, and was charged an astronomical amount of $708. (For a 2008 Honda Accord) Anyway, after the work was complete, I noticed my car was driving “funny” and with the slightest bump I was in and out of lanes. My alignment was way off as well. Now, I had just bought new tires in December with a warranty and got an alignment at the time of purchase/service. So, I decided to visit the store (where I got the tires) and long behold, my brand new tires were switched out with old ones with bad tread. Two workers from the tire shop informed me that the numbers on the tire weren’t the same and had been rotated. The front tires were completely bald. They even measured the tires, concluding the that it was HIGHLY impossible for brand new tires to be worn down in a matter of 6 months. So what did I do? I did what any normally thinking and concerned person would’ve done. I went to Pikesville Automotive to do some investigating. The owner (?) “Yossi” didn’t even allow me to explain. He dismissed everything I was saying, over-talked me, was overly aggressive and pretty much told me to go “f”myself. I’m pretty certain I was called another name, but can’t say for sure. The guy is a con, a liar (in my opinion) and an overly aggressive man. He overcharged me, wouldn’t even hear me out, and if he didn’t do it, someone at this shop (stole) my brand new tires, ultimately placing me and other occupants life at jeopardy.

Just had my third experience with Pikesville Automotive for a rather complex job and I am very pleased. Yosi was consistently helpful, friendly and patient very knowledgeable but without the ridiculous overhead and sales pitches of a LandRover dealer. HIGHLY Recommended for Excellent, Honest and Quick Service with great Value in comparison to the dealer. With Yosi and his team, I found transparency, integrity, and a truly veste interest in cultivating lifelong partnerships with each customer. They had genuine compassion for my situation they told me honestly which items need to be addressed now and which can wait, and instantly provided the perfect solution to get me back on the road with minimal time and expense.

I love this place! My first encounter was on an emergency basis. Tranny was in dire need of repair and costs were prohibitive. I love my little MINI and tried to prepare myself for simply letting it go. A relative recommended this shop and on my first visit a second relative (who didnt know the first) was in the waiting room. He assured me I was in the right place. That was 2 years ago. They are friendly and respectful and take the time to explain exactly what needs to be done and how they propose to do it. I recommend them to friends and total strangers and especially to other women!

I went to this auto repair shop several months ago and i was HORRIFIED by the level of thievery exhibited at this place under the guise of well meaning mechanics. I needed an MD state inspection and was told they can fit me in the schedule for the day. The girl at the front was very sweet, but it could be that she was also part of the overall scheme of this place to try to rip every cent out of your bank account. after waiting around for several hours they inspected my car and came up with a list of issues they found to fail my car and the only way to pass would be to make all the repairs on the list. the total repair cost would have been close to $7000!!! now you might say that it was legitimate repairs that were needed BUT 2 things, A) I took it to my mechanic out of state who i totally trust (i obviously did NOT fix my car right then) and he looked at the list and laughed. he said one issue was a MAYBE and he fixed it for a fraction of the price and the other ones were all NON ISSUES. he said even if they were their prices were beyond ludicrous. i took it to 2 other mechanics just to make sure and all of them agreed. B) i took it to another state inspection site down the block who said all the issues were grossly exaggerated and passed the inspection without ONE issue. Overall, they seemingly tried to rob me and i found yossi to be very arrogant and cold. if i could give negative stars i would. I cant tell you what to do but i Personally would stay FAR away from this place. I dont know if he knows the other people who left positive reviews and thats why they did not rip them off, but he DEFINITELY tried to take advantage of me thinking i am an unassuming out of towner and that i would pull out my wallet and just pay for these ridiculous fabricated issues. hope this saves someone else the aggravation i went through by stepping in through the door.

I’ve never been ganged up by a bunch of males in my life. Brought a car from them and had issues with the muffler which is the only thing I asked to get fixed. I was told I needed a new radiator but told the mechanic I’ll worry about that later, just to replace the muffler so I could get it home. First I couldnt get an estimate so i asked the older guy to call the next day when he could. I was told to call back after a certain time and was put on hold for over 10 mins and didnt talk to anyone, called back again and couldnt get an answer so i left a voicemail and let them know not to do the radiator just the muffler although he claimed it was supposedly crucial. I called back a few hrs later to them saying “its done”. they wanted me to pay almost 700 for repairs when the car isnt even worth that much, the manager was in my face pointing and fussing calling me all types of liars when we had a verbal agreement. His younger son started yelling from a car when he hadn’t the slightest clue of what we were discussing. He wouldnt give me the car or allow me to get my things out until I called the police. If you have car issues DO NOT GO HERE. They have 0 respect for women, idk what country they’re from but they’re used disrespecting women and tried making excuses for it. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! IF YOU CAN AVOID THIS GARAGE AND GAS STATION.

When Tommy was there I took my Mercedes-Benz and Cadillac Escalade and never had an issue. Even when he left and I dealt with the seasoned mechanics (who are all gone by the way) I never had an issue. However, since the owner (Youse) has taken over this place this place will steal your money and the parts from your car. Believe me...My father a retired MSP (MD State Police) told me RUN for the hills...and never take your car there ever again!!!!!!!I went to pick up my truck and find out my hubcap covers and wheel locks have been stolen while in the care of this place. The owner (Youse) nor receptionist (Dawn) never called me to say...hey theres been a theft to your vehicle. The owner Youse said, Oh someone said that your hubcap covers have been stolen???? He offered no remedy at ALL!!!!#Never even offered to look at his supposdly security cameras. For all I know it could have been the new mechanics...On top of that I was over charged $640 for replacement gasket pan, oil change, and mount and balance 2 tires. I did not know about the theft of my vehicle until after I paid.I should have heeded my sisters warning when she told me that she stopped taking her cars to get service there because she confirmed she was paying for services that were never done.Sometimes reviews can be hit or miss but BELIEVE ME...This place should be shutdown, not the government.

Now this review shall erase all the good compliments this shop has ever had and this is coming from the bottom of my heart now Ive been going to this shop for 8 months now and Im hoping I could break this review down into events that happen the many times Ive been there ok there customer service from when I first met them was the usual I would expect from any other shop... decent I only came to that place for an oil change because other places refuse to do so because of the engine light so they get some gratitude for assistance on thatI told them that my engine was leaking and they checked to see were its coming from turns out I needed a new head gasket...fine I paid 400-500 dollars or so to have it done the next time I came in now my car has minor issues nothing that would stop it from moving you know the good ol wear and tear type thing I keep up on the oil changes and everything runs fine its a 99 Honda Accord so you see were Im coming from so I came in for the gasket replacement it would take a few hours so I dropped the car off and headed home they offered to take me there and back but it was a nice day so I said Im good a few hours later got the call said my car was ready I went to pick it up arrived there and met with yose the owner and he had told me they had to order another gasket part for the car cause it was leaking in some other spots as well so at this point I know the price went up but hey Im here so wheres my car Ive paid the price that surprisingly changed got my car and left nothing unusual on that visitStay tune to see why things fell short

HORRIBLE JOB!!!!! I took my car to this place to fix some minor scratches and I left with dent. I realized when I got home when I looked careful. Next day I went back to show them what they had done to my car and the person that did the job ( i think he is the owner of the place), he was trying to convince me that it did happened there. So, He didnt do anything about it. I went to the another place and people told me tat is very possible to do dents when fixing scratches. So, never ever coming to this place again and tell to my friends about my experience.P.S. It says that owned and operate by veteran..... TIME FOR RETIREMENT

They said I needed new brakes, Which they did but then tried to explained why my brake pedal was sinking to the floor (it did not do that before.) and that now I needed to pump the brakes. Warning bells went off in my head. So off to another mechanic, turns out they broke the calipers, which leaked oil all over the new pads ruining them. I had to pay to have the whole thing redone. Im not happy at all with their work.

The shop that I had been taking my car to previously, relocated to Temple Hills (Automotive Power), so I took my car to Pikesville Automotive for repairs. After the 1st initial visit, the car was taken back a 2nd and 3rd time, as the car was still operating almost exactly as it had before (it sounded like it wouldnt start, and the check engine light came back on the day after I picked the car up, each time). My mother visited the sites Facebook page to write a review, and Mike Chinea thought that it would be best if he went back and forth with my mother in reference to said review. It would have been nice if Mike would have owned up to the fact that none of the issues were fixed, vs battle my mother publicly via social media. Now we must take additional time out of our lives to file a formal complain w/ the better business bureau. With a back ground in customer service, I am extremely disappointed in not only the fact that I had to buy a new car (keep in mind the volvo that pikeville automotive worked on, was a 2001, and had been kept up in regards to maintenance, and only has 82,000 miles on it to date) but I am also disappointed in what transpired in the attached photos.
