My Office Depot has the most helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. You are greeted at the door ALWAYS. The salespeople are helpful - but they know when you want to shop on your own. I never seen my store disorganized. NEVER! I am also obsessed with art supplies, journals and colored pencils and pens. This is the place to go. :-)

Friendly, knowledgeable team. Service is top notch. Full suite of business services and shipping. Store is well stocked and beautifully laid out. Location is easy to get to with ample, convenient parking and hours. They make shopping for office supplies an adventure :*) Highly recommend!

Tldr: If you want a desk or a chair, I really recommend this place. If you want anything printed, stick with a reliable service like Google.I ordered two posters from the website. One was an 18x24 regular print. Another was a 24x36, and I requested a foam backboard. Both for in-store next-day pickup. I ended up getting two confirmation emails, one saying that the 24x36 would be available for pickup, another saying it would be shipped to me, so already confusing. The next day I got notified the 18x24 was available to be picked up. I went there and got the 18x24. The staff didnt have any idea what was up with the 24x36. They poked around in their system, interleaved with helping other customers. After an hour of waiting, they said they would print it for me on site if I waited some more.Half an hour later, I come back and the design is printed, but its not on a backboard and its on the wrong paper to be applied to a backboard. The staff member there pokes around the system some more and theorizes that its actually being printed in another location from which it will be shipped to the store, then I can pick it up in a week. I go home after 1.5 hours of waiting around their store, with only the 18x24 poster. I go to frame it, and I realize they printed it in completely the wrong size: 13x17.5.So, to recap: unclear confirmation emails, unclear process for the foam-backed poster, a system that doesnt tell the staff whats going on, long waits in the store, and printing the completely wrong size.Before this experience, Office Depot was one of my favorite stores. I have bought a lot of furniture and posters from them. But this demonstration of a poorly designed system and repeated mistakes/incompetence by the staff has ensured I will not be returning.Edit: I called them to report the wrong sized poster. They said they would re-print it for me, and I could drive back out and get it. Im supposed to exchange the mis-print for the correct one. So after wasting my time, they dont offer me a refund and I dont even get to keep the dud.

Shopped for an office chair here. Sat in all the chairs and found one I really liked. Store rep told me they don’t have it in stock. So I looked on my phone and found the same chair 25 miles away at Office Depot in San Marcos and he told me that if it says “1 in Stock” on the website, that means it’s just the chair that’s on display. I said that’s odd because your store shows it as “Out of Stock” online but you have one here on display. He asked if I wanted him to call the store and I said yes. He came back a few minutes later and told me it’s out of stock in San Marcos too. I went to my car, called the San Marcos store myself and he said it was in stock and was staring right at it. Terrible customer service from this Austin store on Mopac. Store rep is either a liar or complete fool.

Found the product online in the store but was a higher price. They matched it and I am pleased with my purchase!

This location has to be the nicest layout I have ever seen as far as Office Depot is concerned. Very clean and very well organized. The staff was polite and super helpful. The shelves were well stocked and it was easy to find exactly what we were looking for in a timely manner. Reminders to wear a mask as well as social distance are posted in easy to spot locations.

One stop for all office/home/stationary needs. They have good collection of office chairs,tables,files, gel &ball point pens,sticky notes. Currently they publish offers on variety of items as well. The cashier is an elderly man with gray hair and a bad attitude and personality. I approached him with a smile, and he barely looked at me during our interaction. He was rude and unprofessional in his manner and speech toward me for absolutely no reason.

I didnt get the mans name but he had a flamboyant voice and highlights from the 70s. If you call and ask if they have something in the store and they say yes, you go there and expect to leave with a purchase and a positive experience. I rushed there in a hurry burning through gas because he told me over the phone, we lock the door right at 9 pm.I got there and his reason was he checked online but didnt actually check the shelves. No sorry or anything, just ready to kick me out of the store so he could close their doors for the night. Great customer service bud...

Wonderful experience! It had been a frustrating day trying to get my printer to work for a deadline. I finally gave up and begrudgingly drove myself to Office Depot still in a foul mood. Walked right up to John at the service center and he took the time to walk me through how to print my documents to their printers and then helped me purchase a new printer. Even carried it to the car for me! I was in a much better mood when I left there. Highly recommend for great customer service!

The staff was very helpful. I bought a 3rd. party replacement cartridge for an HP 4500 Wireless printer because they were out of the HP brand cartridge that I was looking for. The cartridge caused an error in the printer and so I returned it and they gave me a discount on an upgraded version of the same HP cartridge that I was looking for. Excellent service! Very pleased!

I recently had a great experience at Office Depot/Office Max with Matt Marrs in the tech department. I came in with some issues for my work laptop. He listened to what I needed and was able to come up with a solution right away! He wasnt salesy which I really appreciated and seemed very honest and genuinely helpful in trying to figure what was going wrong. Because I was so impressed and believed he was a straight up guy, I started asking him about another one of my laptops that was much older and got his thoughts on what we could do to fix that one too. I pretty much thought I was going to be in the market for a new laptop, but with his advice I decided to keep it. I had him do the work on it and now it works great! On top of that, he got the first laptop done in one day and the second one done on the same day- GREAT SERVICE!!! I would highly recommend Matt for any computer issues you have. Youll get an honest answer by someone who is very knowledgeable about his craft and not ever get the feeling that he is trying to pull one over on you. Hes my guy from here on out!

Worst service ever, all employees are mad all the time.

Horrible customer service. I sent my phone off to them for a simple charging port replacement, and was quoted $80. I didnt receive a call 5 days later, so I called them and was told I needed to pay over $400 more for the repair. I could have taken it somewhere else if I would have known ahead of time.I successfully wasted my time, efforts, and money. All they offer is a refund for the work that was never completed. Time and gas cost money. They took no efforts in providing reimbursements or even a discount on the RIDICULOUS labor costs!Shop somewhere else. This company will NOT stand by thear word.

I called an employee at 8 pm to get the email address to send documents for printing to be picked up before 10 pm (their closing time). I arrived at the store at 9:30 pm to find the employees leaving, the lights turned off, and the gate and door locked. I understand that it probably wasnt busy but there is absolutely no excuse for this abysmal customer service.

Clean and well stocked store. Passed by several staff members wandering around and not one greeted me or asked if I needed help finding something (as I was aimlessly walking in circles). The gentleman who rang our items up was very kind and had a good sense of humor.

An hour and half to do 5 self serve easy color copies. Machine was slow and did not connect to anything. The copy guys were bombarded with a large order and could not print for me without another 30-45 min wait.

Initially had a little issue (really with one of their vendors and not Office Depot), but talked to the manager and was taken care above and beyond what was expected. I have more confidence in this store above most others knowing if something goes wrong theyll be there to help. Two thumbs up.

Always quiet. Never seen this place busy. But that somehow doesnt help the service speed. Extraordinarily clean inside. Prices are high.

Hugo and a few of the other staff helped me on New Years Eve in the printing shop. While these employees do have extensive training in the printing area, they stayed late to help me finish my order. I am super grateful!!!! What a great crew of people!

Its always quiet in here. They have my favorite brand of notebook/organisers that I cant find anywhere else. Staff is always nice.

Empty store. Holes every where. Went in for allot of merchandise and they had nothing I was looking for. Several people standing around. No one offered to help me find what I was looking for. Left and heading to walmarts to get what I can. Then in search of a staples. Explains why there is only 4 cars in the lot.

Shopped during back to school sales and oh my goodness I have never had so many employees ask me if I needed help! Usually I cannot track down an employee to help me. Hope this change is a permanent one.

If it wasnt so convenient, I would go to another location. Employees are not helpful. Two walked right by me in the store and didnt acknowledge me even being there, even though I probably had a bewildered look on my face trying to find something.I selected a hard drive that was on sale for $89. When I was at the register, it rang up as $159 and I alerted the cashier that it was on sale. He asked me how much it was and never even bothered to check if it actually was on sale, just took my word for it. Good thing Im honest!

I stopped here on 8/20/2017 to shop for back to school supplies. I went to Wal-Mart first because I thought Wal-Mart would be cheaper. Not only did Office Depot have cheaper prices, they had all the required items and a better selection! Even the quality of the items was better. There were plenty of polite employees to help locate items. They had more registers open than Wal-Mart and the cashier that helped me was extremely friendly. This will be my first stop next year!

Online ordered prints, they called stating ready in 30 min, I go there 1.5 hours later... They state not done, messed up, lost my document! Horrible experience!

At 9pm I was booted for parking in front of a closed store. This is an fing scam. Ill never shop at this store.

Same as every other office depot. Very few customers in the store at any point in time. I wonder how their sales justify the operating costs.

Avoid this Office Depot if at all possibleIve given them a chance multiple times in the last 2 months; however, my luck has not been good.The last time was THE last time. I asked two staff members if they could help and both looked at each other as though I dont want to help him, you help him. When one finally helped seemingly unwillingly, the product on display was no longer available at the discounted price posted. He knew immediately it wasnt. Then why the is it still out?!When I asked about another product, I recd a common answer which is we dont have it at this location, but we can order it.My recommendation is to spend the added time driving to a further away office supply store. Youll probably end up there anyway
