Light, airy environment and very prompt and competent service. I had the iced green tea. Looks like a great place to go and work from your laptop. Located on the corner of the building, the shop has light coming in from two sides, which is a subtle but important feature of how a place can feel as opposed to light coming in from only one side.My only complaint is that the air conditioner was turned down way too cold for my liking.Great place overall.

Great local coffee shop! Summer moon is a cool coffee shop located in a safe area that’s great to study or chill at. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and the place was clean as well. I got the Summermoon latte and recommend it for those coffee lovers that like something more on the sweet side versus a dark type of taste

Great coffee, worst customer service. Employees have a great way of totally ignoring the customer. Waited 10 minutes for one cup of regular coffee. Avery Ranch location is much better as far as service. Never again.

Came from out of town and wanted to try some local coffee. Can definitely say I am glad I picked this place. The coffee, food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing. The staff was quick and made excellent drinks. Having there muffin was a excellent choice and loved all the vegan options they carried. Will definitely come visit again soon.

Summer Moon is hands down the best wood fired coffee you can find in Austin. This location is quite popular and at times all indoor seating spots are occupied so plan accordingly. I’m always impressed by their quick grab-and-go service.

Love the moon milk based drinks. Horrible attitude from the girl barista, seemed like she was annoyed at me not knowing the drinks and asking questions. Will go to other locations where staff is actually friendly.

Abysmal customer service. They refuse to accept cash, but they dont tell you until after you have ordered. No notice on the door or at the register. Baristas response is its pretty common.Panera is down the street, and so is Trianon. Try one of those.

This is probably the most inconsistent location. I ordered 1/4 today and it tasted like sugar, not sure what it is honestly so I threw it away. I ordered cinnamon moon latte one time and it was nothing but milk. I tried calling, no one pick up. I tried emailing, never got a response. Its sad because sometimes its perfect and I kept telling people how good it is but the chances that I get a good coffee is like 50% and you just never know.

Summer Moon has great coffee... I wish they had more outdoor covered seating. Early morning coffee here is a fave.

While I did enjoy the two sips of mocha I snuck from my partners cup, and while my hydrophilic self did appreciate the free water setup, the lack of music (at least, discernible from my corner seat) puzzled me. Altogether a pleasant experience.

Were currently at COVID-19 Stage 5 in Austin. I did not see a single customer in there wearing a mask the two times I have gone in this past week. None of the staff were wearing them, either. This is really irresponsible management on the owners part. Trianon Coffee, which has been in business in Austin since 1985, is just down the road.

Placed an order at 10:15 am for a meeting at 11:30 am in my office for myself and several colleagues, was told delivery time would be 11:15 am. Here we sit, 11:50 am, no coffee.. Called the location to be sent to a voicemail. UPDATE 11:52 coffee arrives, COLD (when all but one bev in the order was ordered HOT) Also, they gave us all straws for the hot coffee (?? wasteful and bad for the environment) I had heard good things of this place and maybe its different if you are there but ordering was a BUST! Very disappointing and made us look unprofessional as we informed our guests we would have a specialized coffee bev for each of them.

I loved of the taste of the coffee here, it tastes a little burnt while its hot. The ambiance of the place and the type of people that come here is really cool. They even have a water station and a bathroom. I love the Wi-Fi and seating with cute pillows. Would totally come back here to drink some coffee and do some work 😀

Illogical mask rules. You have to wear a mask in-line but you’re safe without one sitting at a table. Somehow sitting at a table makes Covid disappear. I was told to wear a mask by the cashier while ordering when everyone a few feet from me was mask less. I guess Covid knows when people are sitting at a table and when someone is standing in line. This is a tiny shop and inside. Whoever made these rules has zero common sense. I can’t support a business that is run by fools logic.

Summer Moon is great. As someone who loves coffee, this place has some great coffee. I would rather go here any day over Starbucks. Their moon milk items are so good. I always get the Mocha Moon Iced Latte and it’s amazing. Also a pretty chill spot to go and get some work done in a clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I moved to Austin two weeks ago and since my husband brought it to me on a whim one day Ive gone back at least four times because its SO good. Just honestly really good coffee, really great atmosphere, card only contactless payments, and a stellar assortment of pastries and vegan treats. The strawberry vegan poptart is to die for. I cannot recommend it enough, it has something to offer every coffee drinker

If you are into sweet coffee, which most of America is then this is the best place ever. Their moon milk is so heavenly. The taste and texture and consistency is so perfect. I get the half moon which is half sweet and it is still so fantastic. My neighborhood shop quit using the moon milk and I had to stop going when I want a sweet coffee.

Amazing place! Consistently great service with pleasant, good-natured baristas, and excellent coffee. This morning, the place Wow-ed me with upbeat music selections from early 80s that few would recognize, and I even won a free coffee for correctly naming the band playing! Does it getter better? Hard to imagine...

This coffee shop is perfect for working and/or studying because of the numerous outlets and window lined walls! The coffee is great and the music is as diverse as the people working that shift! Highly suggest Summer Moon!

I’ve loved loved loved Summermoon for so long, so when this place opened up near my office I was pumped! The coffee was 5 star, but I was really hoping for a pour over or French press before work and unfortunately they don’t offer either. Still great coffee though.

This place has wood fired coffee which is different and cool. They also have nitro cold brew which I look for everywhere these days. Great atmosphere too!

Love the coffee but they seem to run out of things, the staples, fairly regularly. The almond milk (PacificFoods, the brand they use, is sold at Randalls across the street), was unavailable for almost a week. I went to buy coffee beans, not one bag-of any variety-was in the store. And yesterday they were out of oat milk.

The best coffee!! Their secret recipe moon milk is amazing (if you like sweet) with many different kinds to try. The blue moon (lavendar) and peppermint mocha moon are favorites. Service is always very nice.

I love the Cold Brew here, its exactly what I need to get my days started. I especially love that they offer Oat Milk, not many coffee shops in Austin carry it yet.

Most excellent coffee at reasonable prices. Staff is Austin weird. Decor is dainty foo foo tables and frail chairs etc not very practical. Place gets really crowded at peak hours. Sometimes hard to find a place to sit.

The winter moon is amazing. Good prices. A couple of the staff at this particular location lack a bit of basic manners (putting your phone down when a customer is making an order). Oh well wont stop me from coming!

I love Summer Moon any where they are. But the new one on Bee Cave doesnt have the same vibe. They have never had many beans to choose from the 3 different times I have been. I am trusting its just growing pains.

I just dont like this place. Its the atmosphere, the furniture is uncomfortable, the baristas dont seem knowledgeable about the product, the menu isnt great. I just dont think it comes together. I have been to two locations several times and I just dont like it.

Man I really wanted to like this place, but dropped the ball on simple black coffee. So how do you fail at coffee? Well have you ever accidentally used a Keurig coffee cup that had already been used? Enough said. Oh well

I LOVE summer moon and go to their other locations frequently. This was my first time at the Westlake location and I have to say it was a little disappointing. The service was fine but my drink was nothing like what I get from other locations. I got my usual 1/8 moon and the drink was luke warm, with a very watered down taste. I had to add more moon milk to it which helped...but drinking a luke warm coffee was still a bummer :/
