Amazing coffee, especially the Moon milk lattes. This is definitely one of the best out there! You must try it, it will change your life. I recommend the 1/4 min milk latte, it’s not too sweet but just creamy enough.

Great coffee and snack place. My 11yo loves the frozen lemonade and frozen hit chocolate. The coffee drinks I have tried are always great and the baristas are very helpful and accommodating. The moon milk is really sweet, but the staff is willing to do an eighth amount if you dont want as much sugar. Bathrooms are always clean and unisex. Only downside is that their pastries are always low in late afternoon (4pm), limiting our choices for after school dnack.

The black coffee is OK and the espresso was good but didnt come with a little bit of sparkling water, which I know is pretension on my part. So instead Ill focus on the atmosphere, which is top notch. I would work here every day. Based on the clientele I saw in my three hours there, a lot of people agree. I will come back and try their moon milk next.

Nice alternative to the Star (which I dont like so much) or just plain from-home. Really like the smoothness of the moon lattes and things move quick. Dont understand the no cash, but they do take cash tips? Not a deal breaker just weird..maybe itll change after all the things and stuffs go back to normal? Still great coffee 😁🤟

Huh...it had to be a combination of a busy Saturday and location, but the service was not so great. I tried a half moon latte, iced and a house maid chocolate pop tart...not bad. There was not much seating here. Seemed like they could benefit from a drive thu also. I think that could speed up the wait.

Super sweet and friendly staff!!! It means a lot starting your morning with a friendly face. A lot of coffee shops in austin I’ve been too have great coffee but unfriendly or unwelcoming staff. Here the coffee is delicious, fairly priced, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming!

Espresso shake was really good and helps me stay up, also got a shirt thats super comfortable. Ive been to a couple of their locations and theyre usually small but the staff is nice and quick since theyre busy a lot of the time, love it.

Ive been a patron of this Summer Moon location now for almost two months, and Ive enjoyed every single one of my visits there.To start off with, the staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly, with one sweet gentleman (blonde, usually wears a reversed baseball cap) in particular really brightening my day when Ive visited a few times thus far (he even wrote my name in Mocha on the top of my Espresso Milkshake, which brought a huge smile to my face

Love the drinks but the staff avoids eye contact with customers when you come in to pick up online orders! It’s so awkward and makes me feel unwanted. One of the girls that works there called out all of the in store orders and I was thinking oh she’s going to turn to me and ask what I had but no she just walks away! My order was sitting just out of arms reach! Either have someone manning the online orders or just put them where you put the in store orders. PLEASE!

I visit this place daily to get Velvet Blaze black coffee… the taste is unique and unparalleled.The people that work here are very courteous, but few of them request for tips…. Tip for a coffee?

While this is a really nice (and slightly loud) atmosphere for hanging out, the coffee in my opinion is “ok.” I feel the roast and/or brewing is too mild for my palate. I’ve ordered lattes, drips and espressos.If you want to work out of this location, bring ear plugs. Great place to sit and talk.The “moon milk” is too sweet for my tastes, even when using only half a portion. This does seem to be the reason why people love this place, so if you are a fan of their secret moon milk you will enjoy.

Literally met my wife here for our first date 3 years ago. Great coffee. The moon milk is very sweet. The atmosphere is relaxed with higher seats and wooden tables. One of our favorite places to grab a caffeinated brew.

Nice almond milk cortado. Decaf espresso is pretty good, but Ive tasted better. Velvet Blaze drip coffee was also nice--a bit too smokey for my taste but smooth. Service was great. I appreciate that all baristas are wearing masks during these Covid times.

Amazing selection of fun and novel drink combos! If its your first time definitely try 1/2 moon milk! If youre a fan of sweet coffee go full moon milk. You can cut it with any amount of skim milk as well (1/2, 1/4, 3/4) combos. I normally find that cold drinks dont taste as sweet and can go heavier on the moon mill as opposed to hot drinks where typically 1/2 is the perfect choice for the same level.Staff is amazing and very sweet. They frequently have no problem remembering my name and that of many others. For a coffee shop theres tons of seating but it can easily get crowded from the popularity during peak hours.

The staff was friendly, patient and helpful and their unique lattes were delicious! They were out of breakfast tacos, but we went down to the donut shop a few doors down and got tacos and donuts to go with our coffee.

One of the best coffee shops in the city. Their moon milk is amazing. I also like the wooden touch to the coffee. I usually get the quarter moon as I wouldnt want my coffer too sweet. They also accept online orders if you want to beat the queue. They are open till 8 PM which is even better.

Sorry to bother you! So apparently if and when you order taco deli you should use the comment section to indicate you want salsa. As I picked up my online order the cute red head was bothered by me asking for salsa. Instead of simply saying “ Sure what kind? she snarkly responded with, “next time use the comment section to indicate you want salsa!” Sorry to bother you ma’am! Rude! Rude! Rude! If you do t like being in customer service find another job!

Not much to say, the drinks taste great, the staff is both friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Id go back when I need a coffee fix.

Good coffee and interesting flavors and I dont normally like flavored or sweet coffee, but will drink it here. And all the baristi/bariste are personable and hustling so nothing to say against any of them. But for some reason I can never get out of there without waiting at least 15 minutes (for one coffee) and that is even if I order online ahead of time.And the space you are standing around waiting is kind of awkward, since there are always several people waiting so you are kind of squished between a sitting person and a standing person.I really hope you all rearrange the furniture and the process a bit. Maybe put all the tables in the front in that area up to the cash registers that most people dont even use so often. Im not sure, but it is less comfortable waiting here than other coffee places, and Ive waited for a lot of coffees in my life.

I love Summermoon coffee and the staff at this particular location are very efficient(omg impressively efficient), respectful, and friendly especially with the long lines they receive. The customer service is impressive for how much traffic they receive.Some Summermoon locations give you a $0.25 discount for bringing your own cup. This one does not.It is a very popular spot and you will wait about 20 minutes for your drink. So if you have the time to take a breather and relax, definitely recommend!

Our favorite coffee shop in Austin by far, and we have tried them all, trust me. The coffee is amazing and old school wood fired beans make it very unique. Everything from their regular drip coffee to their espresso and pastries are excellent. My fiancé and I, along with so many others, are regulars because of the consistently friendly staff that make the whole experience one we dont want to leave. We are usually the last ones out the door when they close. Can not say enough good things about the coffee and the staff at this location. Always greeted with a smile and a strong cup of coffee. Big shout out to Robin, Matt, Sal, and Lauren!

Edit: went in again and theyre asking every customer for at least $1 tip. Ive been leaving tips because hey, were all struggling. But it feels weird to be asked a $1 tip on my order that came out to mess than $3. Let the customer chose how much to leave rather than telling them.So...I may have found a favorite coffee shop. I used to live in a small town and it has the aesthetic of a small town coffee shop that someone decided to remodel with to look like Starbucks but with a brick walls and hardwood floors as the accent. Aside the non unique aesthetic, the coffee is mad good. I like that they offer a variety of milk alternatives like oat and almond, and make the flavors dairy free options as well. The baked goods they sell, where ever they get them from, are bomb. The baristas are friendly and cordial and have no problem explaining the menu. They apparently have several locations around Austin so find the one closest to you and check it out. Glad I gave it a go because Ill be back!

Great little coffee spot, lots of choices, not only coffee but also smoothies and baked goods that are really good! Very busy but also have a lot of tables . We went on a holiday weekend and it was packed but felt great still... Loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the coffee.

Peak hours yield a long wait but the moon milk is worth the wait. After 7am they have Tacodeli breakfast tacos. Cookies look good but Ive never tried them. Power is available for lap top charging, so you can look busy with it open to browse memes on fb. Youre welcome.

First time I ever had Summer Moon was the morning of my wedding at this location. The smell of this place makes me think about that wonderful day! I of course bought the stone mug and will buy a bag of beans when Im in town. Moon milk is incredible and if you can store it somewhere cold, its great to take home! Blue Moon is now my favorite, but just a vanilla latte is what I had on my wedding day. Great service!

Online ordering needs fine tuning. I arrived before my pickup time, went to the counter 1 minute ahead of scheduled pick up time and witnessed a milkshake being made for somebody that ordered in person.The milkshake was being crafted at the time of my scheduled pickup. One of my other cold drinks was ready too. I had one 20-oz four-shot cinnamoon, a 16-oz moon glacier, and another 20-oz three shot cinnamoon.I had one drink ready 3 minutes after the scheduled pick up time which was about 20 minutes after the online order. Mainly I just dont understand why I had one cinnamoon drink sitting in the window dying while they crafted the milkshake after my scheduled pick up time.Im being a karen here, at least I realize it 😂

Summermoon is undoubtedly the best chain in Austin, the moon milk man, is addictive. I order multiple times a week and usually use their app to order ahead of time to go grab on my way. Love their decor, and the baristas are awesome. They have a lot of other food items in the store based on availability and they have some amazing summermoon swag. They are as good as all their other stores in their chain.

Visiting Austin for some training and found this coffee shop to meet my coffee needs every morning. The moon milk is very sweet, but delicious in their Summer Moon Latte. If you like sweet latte drinks, I’d definitely recommend the Summer Moon Latte.

Every coffee shop has a signature : if you frequent summer moon youll come to appreciate the aroma, the atmosphere and the service every time you visit.

The quarter moon is BOMB! Love the coffee here. This locations is pretty crowded on weekends. Not recommended for studying/working.

I cant get enough of the wood-fired coffee.The Mocha Moon is the way to go if you are looking for something sweet.I recommend the 20 oz Iced Mocha Moon. It comes with 3 shots, but the baristas will add in another at no extra cost since their machines can only pull doubles.(Note: the 16 oz only comes with a double, so youll be charged for the extra shots if you want them added).

Always helpful with questions and super quick with orders! Go early if you want a pastry selection, they seem to sell out of a lot before 5pm.

Today I was lucky enough to visit Summer Moon Coffee shop on Burnet Rd and I guess I found my GoTo place for coffee. As a customer Id love to be offered wide breakfast menu. Having a turkey cheddar cheese in croissant would be beyond of my dreams :)) Cool place

Let me start out by saying that this review is based on the lack of masks and social distancing that I witnessed here the other day. I normally love this place, and love the fun energy and delicious coffee, as well as the staff. However, the other day I decided to grab a coffee after getting my nails done next door, and I was slightly shocked by what I saw. Crowded tables with people not wearing masks, and definitely not spaced anywhere NEAR six feet apart. The employee at the register had a mask on, but did not have it over her nose. Almost every single seat in the shop was taken. The coffee was great, of course, but I do not plan on coming back until the pandemic is over

This is a great neighborhood place. Their coffee is great and its a nice place to read or catch up with a friend. However, Id really appreciate more transparency about ingredients in the drinks. I ordered a tea drink and asked if it was sweetened. They said that it was not sweetened. It was definitely sweet when I got it. I couldnt drink more than a couple of sips because of my health issues and sensitivities to sugars.

Always love to get a Winter Moon before work on Fridays. They have Hot/Cold options, good take home beans and cool accessories. Great place for conversation or school/work. Mornings are busy until 9am so always place a order on the app if you dont want to wait 30+ minutes. My favorite is to get a 3/4 Winter moon - Extra Shot.

Had an excellent time, and the employees showed they cared about my experience with various care they took with my order - including offering ice with my hot tea without my prompting. The little things make a big difference 🙂

LOVE their coffee but didn’t feel COVID safe at all! Both outside and inside no one had masks on (except for the employees) and there was open seating available for all. As a valued and popular Austin brand, they should set a better example!

The best coffee youll get for the price and flavor (especially if you have more of a sweet tooth, the wintermoon and espresso milkshakes are above and beyond). Even the hot chocolate is a winner. They seriously put Starbucks to shame! ;)Staff at the Burnet location rocks and are super friendly, always have good vibes. The shop itself can be crowded at peak hours due to its popularity, but it has a great atmosphere.If youre a coffee aficionado, definitely give this place a try. If you need caffeine, these flavorful drinks will do the job!
