Expected more out of the coffee, feel like it was a bit overhyped and wished they had more options. The coffee shop and hotel were beautiful though.

So good and you actually get $7 worth of an iced coffee drink. The gals that work here are amazing baristas and they’re so kind. My husband gets me my morning coffee from here every morning and we will keep coming back 🥰 Thanks y’all !!

Order the iced vanilla latte, it is so good! It was worth the $8 bucks I paid for it and the shop is located in a really cool hotel.

Alfred never disappoints and the one at The Line Hotel in Austin is not an exception. You can enjoy the vibrant and cozy guest / visitor scene of the hotel with plenty of seats and free WiFi. It’s very relaxed and their chairs have back support which is super comfortably to be honest. P.S. I see no need for commenting about their coffees, as they all are beautifully handcrafted and served. The prices are probably 10-20% above the street level but I guess it’s definitely worth it.

Just your average over hyped, over priced, mediocre coffee. Cute coffee signs, bathroom selfies, and nice views from the hotel but could have done without the coffee.

This place blows, always out of nitro. Like why is it even on the menu and they have a date shake that isnt even blended. Its an iced drink. Definitely a hotel visitor trap. Total bummer for the prices

Review №11

Why even have the nitro on the menu if A). They are always outB). Your 19 year old barista is going to suggest buying the can of nitro which a person can buy at Whole Foods or Central Market for $4 less.Feels like this place doesnt uphold the standard that is Stumptown coffee, such a shame

This is a coffee shop inside The Line Austin — I’ve tried their ice matcha and ice chai — both were really great. The vegan blueberry muffin was also really good. There’s plenty of seating area near the coffee shop/lobby area — great to take a break when it gets too hot outside.

I had high hopes for this place because it’s infamous. Needless to say, it was probably some of the worst coffee I’ve ever had, not to mention overpriced. I spent $8 each for a small dirty chai and small vanilla latte both of which tasted like water. I will not be coming back, pretty disappointed.

Rude staff, make sure you know you are inconveniencing them by just ordering while they’re mid conversation with their backs turned to you. Coffee was unimpressive.

Housemade vanilla syrup latte. Perfectly balanced with vanilla flavor (with actual vanilla bean) and not too sweet. Well done.

Alright so I know this is THE JOINT to go to in LA for all the bloggers. But I was interested in it for the oat mylk latte. Boys and girls—it was CREAMY. And I dream of it still. Seriously don’t know what oat milk they used but I’m assuming it was made in house. No flavoring needed. Also the decor is amazing — full of instagrammable spots. Honestly it’d be a great place for a meeting, seeing a friend in town, or having some quiet time on your lunch break.

Best coffee shop in Austin! The staff is incredible! Prices are pretty standard, especially considering they have house made syrups and a wide variety of milk options. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I enjoyed this place so much for my first time visit. Maya helped me find a drink based on what I told her I wanted. I was hesitate to try it however she advised me if I didnt like it shed make me a new one. This gesture is highly appreciated when you are a first time customer asking to try a signature drink. I ordered a matcha with oats and it was incredible.I also tasted a Hazelnut vanilla latte. In comparison to Starbucks, the drinks here at Alfreds have less sugar. The ambience is very chill, Earthy, and inside a hotel therefore plenty/ variety of sitting places. They have a variety of pastries and the breakfast looks superior over Starbucks.Hope this helps💚

Solid coffee and decent pastries. The Lavender Latte is pretty interesting but only get a single pump of the lavender syrup - otherwise it is too sweet.

Coffee was good but my espresso was served in a paper cup. Paying over 3 dollars for a paper cup is absurd and wasteful. This was a big detractor for me, otherwise seemed nice.

The Alfred is a small coffee shop inside the Line Hotel in downtown ATX. Since its in a hotel, you can order your coffee and sit anywhere in the hotel lobby (or at the few tables just outside the coffee shop area).Theres usually a line, but it moves very fast. Their coffee is quality and they brewed the best latte I had in ATX. They also sell breakfast items from granola to kolaches. The service is friendly as well!

Alfred, in Austin! Fantastic matcha drinks, single origin pour-overs, and a single origin tea too. House-made pastries (including local delicacy, the kolache) and profesh baristas. Great addition to the local coffee scene.

Expensive. no Ambition. Plaste all over the Place. Spoons, knifes, forks, plates, cups, Straws. This wannabe ‚boutique-Hotel‘ unfortunately has obviously no Sense for Contemporary, at least in some aspects sustainable Food Service. What a Pity.
