I had a great experience working with Ty. Hes knowledgeable about not only the flooring products but also the entire system that goes into creating a long lasting floor. While visiting my job site, he made a number of observations and recommendations for fixes to things not even related to the floor work! Highly recommend him!

They were very helpful in selecting grout and even called the manufacturer with some questions. They then went to pick up at the distributor the next day for us. For such a small purchase they went out of their way to help.

Buyer beware! This company installed the wrong tile, then told me I was wrong when I pointed it out, then called the vendor who shipped it to schedule a delivery of more of the wrong tile and told me they could get more of the tile I hadnt ordered later that day? I was yelled at by the owner that it was not their fault they received the wrong tile; I agreed with that statement, however, it was their fault for installing the wrong tile. It was corrected but still unpleasant and for all their mistakes Ive never received an apology. They continued to blame us for being inflexible with our schedules even though their employees would fail to show up when scheduled if they showed up at all. We paid a high premium for what we thought would be quality management and workmanship --- we were wrong! We paid thousands for new baseboards and shoe molding and painting of them and now we have installed and uninstalled engineered hardwood boards with paint smears. They treat your property with little to respect; we suffered damages not just to our newly purchased floors but to our existing ones. We learned early on if you point out issues they say theyll fix that it only made the issue worse. Cannot stress enough to look elsewhere for your flooring needs. The owner current seeking financial retribution for another review Ive posted. I am heartbroken that we spent so much money and that our nightmare with them doesnt seem to ever end.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. My husband and I worked with Ty to put hardwood floors over existing stained concrete in our home and the results were exactly what we hoped for. As long as we’re in Austin we won’t go to anyone but Ty. He helped us to select the right floors, materials and trim for our home and made sure the work was done meticulously. (He has really great taste by the way, and makes great recommendations on design, but you’re not being charged for a designer, which is awesome.) We both felt like he cared as much about our project as he would if it were his own home. When the job was complete and I had a few days to live with the floors, I noticed that the caulking around the trim was a slightly lighter brown than the hardwoods (I’m a touch OCD) and I mentioned it to Ty. He came right over, looked at it and had it redone in a darker brown color to make sure I was happy. If you’re working on your home, good luck, have fun, and go to Floored.

Great place did my living room and dining room, and I now have them scheduled to do my office. I will add photos soon.
