The sales, Tess has been super responsive and helpful. She brought samples to our house and measured the floor on the same day I contacted the company. She provided the estimates within several hours and was willing to negotiate the prices. She also wrote down the thicknesses of the plank, the wear layer and the padding next to the quote of each sample, which made it much easier for us to make a decision.Janak and his crew did a very good job installing LVP flooring for our house. They came to my house on time and finished the quality work within 3 days. They also responded quickly and fixed the minor issues I later found on the stair-noses and shoe mold.

I reached out to my Facebook friends for recommendations on flooring providers. I was referred to Tim Shanahan of Carpets by Conrad by an old high school classmate. I had previously priced out materials and labor from both Home Depot and Lowes. Although the prices seemed reasonable, both advised me that there were always costs that would be incurred after installation because floors are seldom level. They cannot estimate these costs until after theyve torn your original flooring/carpet out. Therefore, there is no way to know if they need to use 1 bag of material to level the floor or 6 bags. When I contacted Tim at Carpets by Conrad he advised that costs were all inclusive and included the costs of leveling the floor. Not only was his quote cheaper than both big box stores, but there was no issue with additional costs. I am extremely pleased with the choice of flooring, the job that was done, and the customer service. I had 2 rooms done with laminate wood flooring and they look fantastic. The job took 1 day. The installers moved all large furniture out after I removed all of the little stuff, this was a big plus for me. I highly recommend Carpets by Conrad and I will use them again in the future.

We hired Carpets by Conrad to replace our floors in December 2020. They started within a day of when they estimated and finished within an *hour* of when they estimated and it all looks great. If youre looking for new flooring in South Austin, theyre a great choice.

I have used Carpets by Conrad in two different homes now for carpet and laminate, and I cannot say enough about the quality of the work both times. Tims commitment to his customers is rare these days: he is responsive, thorough in his measurements so that the quote is accurate, and he brought samples to me prior to choosing the product. Pricing is reasonable and there are no hidden costs during or after the install. The installers were quick, clean, and efficient. All of my furniture was moved and then put back exactly where it was before they started. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their floors done.

UPDATE: I spoke with the new owner and they were apologetic about my problems and were able to work with me to resolve my concerns. I appreciate the follow up and am glad they took my purchase experience seriously. Thank you Janik........When making a big purchase I value great communication from the retailer. These folk underwhelmed me from the beginning, and sure enough there were problems with my order, including overestimating the amount of material to falsely indicating the delivery of my order by two days. Follow up with them has been frustrating.

I was looking for a very specific pattern and functionality of carpet, and the big box stores didnt have enough selection or knowledge. I walked into Carpets by Conrad, and Jeff was extremely helpful. He immediately gave me a number of options that met my criteria and kept budget in mind as well. He allowed me to borrow several samples. Once I made a selection, he personally came to measure our rooms, and the install was seamless. Quiet and clean, and the rooms look so much better! I also appreciated that there were no hidden fees. The cost per square foot was the total cost - simple!

I am very happy and impressed with the level of service I got with carpet by conrad and the team. I usually dont write reviews, but wanted to share my experience. I needed to get my whole house floors done, while doing my research online and getting referrals from friends carpet by conrad was it. I called and a sales person came measured my floors. He gave got samples and explain difference between wood and lvp. We ended up going with lvp. Once ordered, the installer came, they not only moved my furniture, removed the old carpet, took it away and install the floor, all in 2.5 days. The quote they gave me was the price, no extra charge for moving the furniture or throwing the carpet away, it was all included. I am very very happy with the floors and service they provided. If you turn key service for your floors and dont want to worry about anything. This people are it, no need to look anywhere else. I would recommend this company than other store or big box stores.

I was looking for a fine Oriental rug cleaning company. Im sure it was Conrad who dressed my orientals years back.The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, referred a guy who is known to shampoo orientals.( Which is a no!) I ask if there was another referral...she said only him and as I said thank you, she slammed down the phone so hard that the people in my car all held their ears from the loud slam that came over my phone speaker. Too bad they also lost my business for replacing my carpet in my new home!
