I came here because Kings Mart was closed on Sunday and to be honestly I should have waited and just went to big joys at 12. They have a very small and dated selection of items and theyre also no prices on any of the items on the floor so its really hard to make budgeted decisions when you dont know how much something is. In 2021 I understand the dynamic of Korean immigrants coming to the United States selling products to African Americans but if youre going to do sell to a community least follow the trends and the health of black hair which we have strived to create in the last 10 years in black hair care. When I told the owner about this politely but as a Critic and someone how values my money I just got shoulder shrugs. If I would have had the time I would have put my items back and left out of the sheer disrespect of catering to a group of individuals who are already economically downtrodden and using them to fund your business but not catering to them with something as little as prices displayed on items. I tried to use empathy in asked the owner if the coronavirus have been hard on sales and maybe this was the reason why it was so difficult to navigate the store and buy. The owner gave me another shoulder shrug..... This will be my last time going to Beauty Plus and I hope that with the level of gentrification that is happening in East Austin they can keep up with the competition who has much better selections of items and level of customer service.

The staff was very helpful and they had everything I needed there at this store. The o ly thing that bothered me was the space in the store. Its very cluttered. But they have a lot of items for a reasonable price. I was able to get everything I needed at Beauty Plus for my daughter.

Everytime i go up there i think ill find some hair and every single time im dissappointed, they dont have any selections to choice from, their hair is old, they have hair up that they dont even have in stock they have a few cute wigs if you like those but i would waste my time going . on the plus side the woman that worked up there was nice and helped me look for hair, now the guy was rude he didnt answer or respond to any of my questions .

Great place, but for the 3rd time i was rushed out and told they were about to close, i spend alot of money there, they are expensive, and if you tell me once, i understand english, i dont like being rushed. When your trying to figure out hairstyles and all that you will need, and everything that come with it, it takes time, so if i have a customer that spend 100s everytime they come in, Im not going to rush them out the store, if you tell me once i get it!!!

This is my go to hair store. I buy hair, durags, shirts. It has a great selection on a bit of everything. The staff is very nice and friendly, isles are small though but other than that its a great place. I come here every two weeks.

Had the items I was looking for and I was greeted when I entered the establishment. I needed assistance and was helped and actually found what I needed in the boxes.

Says it’s open on Sundays went by and waited 15min for it to open. Eventually just left.

Super friendly and helpful staff!! They have a wide range of wigs that are naturally colored and fun colors like pink, purple and blue. Lady working there told me the wig I bought looked nice on me :)

In my 10 yrs of buying wigs from various places, I have never had an experience where I couldnt try on the wig I was buying simply because the lace would touch my forehead. How extremely ridiculous! If that is a concern for the business owner, then you should create a wig cap that covers that part of the head, not expect me to purchase a wig without ever trying it on and then if it doesnt fit right, dont allow for refunds. This is incredibly rude and is a complete disservice to the customer. Additionally, this store has very narrow aisles, which made it really difficult to maneuver around people. The two stars is only because they are open on Sundays, so kudos for that. Otherwise, I will go elsewhere and if you are looking for lace front wigs, Id suggest you do the same.

Great hair selection and accessories

Asked for 100% human hair wig and lace wig and yesterday i purchase 2 wigs. Yet when i looked on the box after getting home it said high quality FIBER! The wigs are still in the box and bag.This is ridiculous and misleading smh I was my refund! I will never attempt to purchase another wig from this lying place!

Staff act as if youre going to steal something but they never ask if they can assist you. I asked the Asian lady in the back by the wigs for assistance and after her shady response I said nevermind. I left without buying anything I gave 1 star because they had what I was looking for but for the lack of customer service I took my coins elsewhere.
