Have been going with Rams for a few years now and his haircuts are always consistent and come out great and he is always punctual and pays close attention to the details. I make the drive from Cedar Park to South Austin every couple of weeks because no one else has been able to cut my hair quite as good. I always get compliments asking where I get my hair cut and on top of that the environment is friendly, clean, and they also sell hair products and barbering tools. I have personally not had my hair cut by other barbers from Barber to the People but I see the other clientele and I dont think you can go wrong with any of them. However, I would recommend booking in advance due to the high volume of clients that they receive.

He takes his time and doesn’t miss a single hair. My hair is very unforgiving.The shop: The vibe is awesome the music is ALWAYS on point. It’s clean and reflects what the modern day barbershop should be. Good people, good conversations and good cuts.Since living in S Austin I’ve moved to Leander and I’ve still been making the trip to get a cut. Great place. Jairo was friendly and professional and knowledgeable. I have problematic hair that a lot of chain barbershops dont really handle too well like a cowlick and blending and I have to keep asking them to a bit more and more and more to where it seems Im nitpicking the barbers. Jairo knew what to do and I didnt even have to ask and even realized the bumps I had were from my last cut and worked around it. Wish this place was close by for me but glad I found it either way.Plus they got a super friendly frenchie in the store

After receiving a haircut from another barbershop earlier in the day, as soon as I got home I realized that my haircut was nowhere near complete. I had asked for a pretty standard bald mid fade and I was left with harsh lines and no blending whatsoever. After looking around for a few new places to get cleaned up at I found Barber To the People and immediately called. Tim answered the phone and assured me they would be able to take care of me and fix my current situation. Once I got to the shop I was greeted by all barbers and immediately was sat down and taken care of by Marcos. He was friendly and determined to fix my previous cut and have me leaving satisfied and happy. He took his time and really made me feel like he was going to take care of me and have me leaving happy. When the cut was over with I was shocked to see the work he had done and how meticulous he was with fading my hair the right way. 10/10 would recommend getting cut at this barbershop, friendly and happy barbers who want to make sure their clients are satisfied by the end of the experience. Tim Beard has been my barber since 2018. I wouldnt go to anyone else at this point, hes precise and great at what he does. Hell offer suggestions if you ask, and hes never rushed my haircut. The building also has a great vibe, good space, big windows, and upbeat music.

Followed Dru to the shop after it reopened and was very happy with my cut. The cost of a hair/beard trim is significantly lower than the last few places I used. Dru pays more attention to the small details than Ive seen with other barbers. The shop was clean and felt very open compared to a lot of shops that feel like they squeezed as many chairs in the space as possible. Id recommend this shop for anyone looking for a cut in south Austin.

The haircut was maybe average, the beard trim was horrible. Made my beard look thin and jagged, looking like master splinter. 60 bucks for an average haircut and a horrible beard trim,) (whacked off a good two inches when I said dont shorten it) would have been better off with a supercuts haircut and taking the time to trim my own beard.

I only get my haircut from Mo and followed him to this shop. Shop is super nice, modern, and clean and would recommend it and Mo to anyone. He does amazing work.
