Searched this place on google and thought it was just another high end bar. We quickly found out however, the place is way more than a regular bar with drinks and cozy atmosphere. It was a challenge to get in because we needed a code and we didn’t even know where to find the code. After some conversation with the bouncer( or manager) we got the clue on where to get the codes to entry. Won’t spoil it here but once we were inside we knew why it was special. The place is just perfect. I have never seen a mixologist so busy with passion making drinks that were just amazing. The price is quite incredible for the experience and the customer service is just top notch. I can’t recommend this place enough.

First time visiting Atlanta and was looking for a good spot for some mixology old fashions, company, and relaxed atmosphere. Took a chance and was not sure of the code but managed to figure out by some luck. Red Phone Booth does not disappoint. Jason made the perfect smoked old fashion. Drinks & Cigar selection is excellent. Ran into a member that gave me a tour and ended up becoming one as well. Atmosphere is dressy smart casual or sports coats. This will definitely be my spot to visit anytime i;m down Atlanta for business or just fun.

Very nice hidden speakeasy in Downtown Atlanta. I love the secret number entry gimmick! Had a great time with some new friends I met that night (check out the Japanese whiskey). Service was impeccable and knowledgable about their spirits and cigars. If youre only in Atlanta for one night, try to get in. If you can find the code, that is. I wont tell...

What is not to love about this SPEAKEASY!?!?Leon...amazing, Kiera..amazing, Albert..amazing and makes the most delicious cocktails I have ever had. I told him what I like and he made me the 2 most amazing cocktails I ever have had.You have to call from your phone. We were there very VERY early (actually the first ones there) so we didnt have to wait but we were told that after 630...the line gets very long. You can have drinks (huge selection of original drinks, chose from a small Italian inspired menu (we had pizza and loved them), chose from their incredible selection of cigars, play pool or poker.Tips: they have a dress code so no super casual (no t-shirts) attire. If you are staying in one of the hotels downtown, ask the concierge for the secret code.

So my friends wanted to take me to this cigar bar that they frequent. When we arrived we parked in a nearby parking lot. When we got to the door it was a phone booth and they had to say a password to gain access. We were greeted by Scott who was the manager and he was great. When we sat down at the bar we were served by Leo and he was great. I started with one of their specialty drinks and didnt care for it so Leo spruced it up.Scott came up and was talking to us and wanted to give me a tour. They were adding to the spot and he showed me everything. The place was so big and nice. My friends ordered pizza and they enjoyed it. I ordered another specialty drink and loved it. I also indulged in a vanilla cigar and loved it. The bill for me came to $42 . I enjoyed my time indeed.

Our waitress at Saito recommended we come here and have a couple of after dinner drinks. She gave us the code and told us to go to the literal red phone booth downstairs. When we arrived, we met Alex who helped us get a table in the exclusive establishment even though we did not have reservations. The atmosphere was super cool, the wait staff was very helpful with navigating the extensive beverage list, and the drinks were great. I’ll definitely make reservations to visit here the next time we are in Atlanta.

I went to the Red Phone Booth tonight for the first time and had an amazing time. The staff was all around incredible, particularly Alex the security official at the front who offered my friend and I an escort to our vehicle and made us feel safe the entire time we were there. The drinks were very well done, with balanced ratio of alcohol to mixers, so you were able to enjoy both. I would say they had a good variety of top and bottom shelf alcohol, so there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is fabulous, I was a bit concerned it would be too much smoke to properly enjoy it due to the abundance of cigars present, however it was quite the opposite. The décor was done nicely and music was also very tasteful both in style and volume. I will be returning again and am glad I was able to experience such an amazing place.

Flew in from L.A. and had to try this speakeasy.Great selection of premium liquors, cigars and amazing staff. Knowledgable bartenders (which is important because the book of liquors that they provide is as thick as a bible). Provided excellent recommendations based on palette, finish, budget, etc.Super cool, laid back vibe in a upscale setting. Perfect for entertaining/impressing guests as it seem very private -- think Founders Room, House of Blues on Sunset decor with dark wood walls, etc. Dress nicely - they do enforce! It was okay and not what I expected based on the reviews. To say the least, I wasnt impressed. I obtained the code from my hotel concierge. However, I didnt need or use it. There was a line of about 5 people when I got there. The doorman gave entry to new arrivals as people exited. The waiting and entry was like getting into a club without a cover charge. The red phone booth was the entry door so when it was time to enter, the doorman counted us and opened the door. Every seat in the place was filled. The drinks were horrible. The cigars were good. The music was okay. The server was really nice - Haley. The only thing unique about this place is the red phone booth outside. I wouldnt go back, but Id recommend for others to go at least once. It wasnt for me but might be for others. Note: I went on a Friday night.

Once you obtain the secret number to enter and you make your way inside from the Red Phone Booth you will immediately notice the subtle dim lighting, leather couches, wood finishes, and a very extensive whiskey selection. From there you will shortly figure out that this will be added to your list of favorite bars. We lucked out and found two seats at the bar where Jason quickly greeted us and recommended the Smoked Old Fashion. This was the best Old Fashion I had to date. I was originally going to stick with the Old Fashion but quickly found out that the bartenders also give great recommendations for whiskey. I went with the Hibiki as it is hard to find at local bars in my area. Based on this Jason provided several whiskey/bourbon recommendations. We met Scott the Manager who was very attentive and shown us other whiskeys in their collection and background of different bottles. I couldnt recommend this place more for craft cocktails, cigars, or whiskey. We will be returning!

Pretentious. We are not from Atlanta so were not interested in a membership but wanted to try this place. We tried to follow their silly rules to get the code. A lot of people said if you ask at the pizza place next door, sometimes they’ll give you the code. We asked the pizza place, and they let us in the side door. The bartender kicked us out saying that was not an entrance. We explained that we were told to go in the side door, but nope. Still kicked out. Do you want my money or not?! I just wanted to try some good drinks. This place also reeks of cigar, but some people might like that. Ridiculous.

It was fun to have to call to get into the bar. I wish the rotary phone was in use but you just call with your cell. The drinks are very unique. You will not have a typical drink here. They are also designed for sipping and no slamming. This isnt a place you go to to have yourself 10 drinks and end the night stumbling. Classy place that requires collared shirts for men and tasteful attire for women. Prices are steep. Plan on spending $75 for 3 drinks and a cigar. Oh, yes you can smoke cigars inside. Plenty of options between $10 and $20 for them.

Apart from the very cool red phonebooth and not-so-conspicuous entrance, we didnt find anything so great about this place. It has mostly to do with our drinks and bartender. While the drinks look great and presented really well, our drinks were at best mediocre. They have a menu book which has all the rules and one of them says that if you dont like it, let the bartender know and he/she will fix you another one. So I didnt like my sugary mess of a drink (which was supposedly gin gin mule), so I told the bartender and he made another drink which was just as mediocre. I did tell him all the drinks I like both the times but somehow he missed the mark both times. The nice things about the place is how you get in thru the booth and ambiance. The cigar room was pretty cool. So, I guess I wont come back again!!

Now the food 🤤🤤 I haven’t had one thing that I did not like. I had a cannoli for the first time (which is sad because I’m from NJ and grew up eating authentic Italian food 😅). Came here with a friend and loved every minute. I think the only issue was how long it took the food to come out, but this place doesn’t have their own kitchen they get their menus from the gourmet pizza/pasta place upstairs (Almalfi’s) so I can understand an order possibly getting a little lost in transition. Either way the food was great, the drinks were great, the whole atmosphere is chill. They start to get a little crowded around 8 on the weekends so get here early or make sure you have a reservation, but enjoy yourself!

My boyfriend and I were visiting the Atlanta location from out of town and excited to visit this venue. Upon arriving, we were rudely sent away due to my boyfriends slightly distressed black jeans. Which keep in mind, his skin wasn’t even visible in these jeans. Per the dress code, it states no ripped “shorts.” We have never been so rudely turned away and we’ve visited several “speak easy’s” at a much higher caliber. Waiting in a line just to be turned away is frustrating as our time is extremely valuable since we were visiting for business purposes. Fortunately for another bar a small distance away, they earned a lot of our business. I rarely write bad reviews or complain but this business was extremely unprofessional.

We ventured into Atlanta on a summer city tour and decided to add this spot to our list of must have experiences. The concept is really cool. To get in, you must enter an actual Red Phone Booth and dial the secret number. We only knew the number because of a patron walking by with us (thanks whoever you were). Once in, we were greeted by a lovely young woman who quickly welcomed and ushered us inside. She seated us and went over the concept and drink choices. And then everything went downhill… after ordering the bartender came over to inform us that he didn’t have everything required to make the drink choices. No worries! We moved on to another drink. They were delivered quickly. However, our beautiful waitress spilled 1/4 of one drink all over the table. She apologized and tried to wipe most of the spill. I thought she left to get a bigger towel but nope! She appeared a few minutes later to take our food orders. I guess she was over it?? Mind you, the rules state that drinks are expensive, yet she didn’t bother to compensate. She delivered small plates so the food could be shared. We quickly sent those back as they were dirty and covered with food. The entree plates were horribly chipped. The pizza wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t great either. We usually will have a few drinks each and move on to a cigar. We finished the first round and got the hell out of there. The concept is amazing but this team fails to execute.

What a cool place! You enter through, you guessed it, a red, English-style phone booth on the street. The inside is all darkly lit, with plenty of ventilation for the cigar bar portion of the establishment. The cocktail menu is extensive and divided by base spirit. The bartenders really know their stuff and were able to suggest/help navigate the potentially intimidating selection. I went with my parents and my mom got an absinthe drip, not something you can find at most places, which goes well with the first rule of the bar that you should try something new. Their signature cocktail is a smoked old fashioned and sitting at the bar, I got to see them make a few of them. The bartenders are chatty and willing to share their passion and knowledge. 10/10 will be going back and trying something else new. Oh yeah, and almost every cocktail on the menu is $13!

We wanted to get dinner and drinks and were told by the doorman that the kitchen closed at 9:30 pm. The kitchen hours are not posted on the website and you can’t call the “secret phone number” prior to arrival to get information. While standing in line we watched numerous people who were not in dress code get let in, as well as people who were not members that were behind us. Additionally, we observed a group of men not in dress code, slipping the doorman a $5 bill for skipping the line, which is unacceptable. The doorman gave them blazers in order for them to meet the dress code. After standing in line for an hour we looked and saw that everyone that was in line behind us had been let in. Finally, when we were let in, our waitress served us the incorrect drinks and then proceeded to charge us for the mistake. Overall, if you are from out of town like us, skip this place, as Atlanta has so much more to offer.

Coolest bar/lounge in Atlanta hands down. Really captured that old-school prohibition era style ambiance with low lighting and superb professional service. Keep in mind there is a dress code of collared shirts for gentlemen, and you can even purchase cigars here which they will cut for you if you dont bring your own.TIP: to enter, you need to get the phone number (just ask around at local bars about the Red Phone booth phone number and they will more than likely know what you are talking about) and then dial up the number on the rotary phone.Drinks are a bit pricey but completely worth it as they are expertly prepared (had the best Old Fashioned EVER that they infused with smoke right in front of me!)

Interesting concept almost like a members only using a Red phone booth to gain entry into the club style bar..

I am a new yearly patron and this review was of my very first experience at Red Phone Booth in downtown Atlanta.I paid my $300 and set up the OpenPath app that allows access to the front door next to the phone booth. With 2 friends in tow we tried to use the app to open the door but the magnetic lock wouldn’t disengage. I had to call the “number” to have the phone booth door opened which totally defeated the purpose of being a member/patron.Once inside, I told them I had a reservation booked at 7:30 but no table/couch was reserved for my party. We were initially told to sit on couch A, but when my name didn’t match the “reserved” name on the card, we were told to move to couch B.I then asked to speak to the GM Leon and waited about 10 minutes before he finally came over and shook my hand. Meanwhile the other two members of my party had already ordered a drink while I was standing awkwardly at the bar waiting for Leon.He took me outside and showed me that the app worked which was surprising because when I tried it earlier it did not unlock. I must have tried 7-8 times. Once back inside he told me I could move back to couch A which was nice.We ordered some pizza and calamari but didn’t eat the calamari because it arrived at our table cold. Literally cold like it had been sitting out of the fryer for 10 minutes cold. We didn’t say anything because what was the point.I doubt I’ll go back to this location again but I will give the new location in Buckhead a chance. Disappointed overall and do not think the $300 fee to become a member/patron is worth the cost.

One of the nicest Speak Easy bars in the country. Nice atmosphere, very friendly bartenders. Owners made sure everyone was having a great time. A must stop if youre in downtown Atlanta.

Came here with my husband and I absolutely love the atmosphere! Amazing drinks & awesome bartenders. I really like the exclusivity of being able to get inside, they aren’t letting just any & everybody get in. Will be coming again with my sisters for them to check it out!

Very cool concept. We were celebrating a cousins 40th birthday so we were in their reserved Mafia Room with a pool table. Their food from Almafi was superb. Love all their drinks. The drink menu is very long so you should be able to find something you like! Roaring 20s and 30s style!

You like dated vibes this is def. the place to go. The Great Gatsby, uptown NY 60s city bar vibe. Guest usually keep to the vibe in attire. Perfect for a date night or business/work cool down spot. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. An additional perk is, it’s not too pricey. Very extensive, sophisticated drink and cigar menu.
