I’ve been going to this Ingles for 18 years but recently many of the patrons are not wearing masks. I don’t expect the workers there to be required to enforce the mandate, their job is hard enough and they often seem short staffed. But I do expect Ingles management and leadership to step up and keep their staff and customers safe. Fortunately in Asheville we have a lot of options for buying groceries in a safe environment. I will be going elsewhere for now.

One of the few Ingles in town open super late usually. I once saw a small monkey in the parking lot, chillin with an old lady in her car. P sure with covid they limited their hours but I hope they go back to being 24hrs eventually!

Nice store to shop. Parking lot is large and accessible to store. But it is a tricky place to pull into when there is extremely impatient drivers behind you on Patton Avenue West. It is even harder to turn left from New Leicester Hwy into the parking lot. Employees are very nice. Clean store. Produce, meats, frozen foods, prepared foods, other foods and drink items, and flowers are excellent. Also you can find just about anything that you might need on a certain day.

Very helpful in Deli, even though we kept asking questions and needed help for a clean table.

Were very short-handed and look like the manager was trying to do all the work and was treating me like a homeless person and I was going to steal something. Dont like shopping there there food for lunch is terrible

The staff never asked if I needed help. Didnt greet when entering. It was slow so to many shopping carts in corals.

Never will come to this Ingles again. Me and my wife came in to get boars head subs and the rude long blonde hair guy at the deli said they were closed. We just went to Ingles up the road and got our subs no problems. The employees at this Ingles are rude and liars . Not recommend!

This is a more dated Ingles, which can be seen by their classic sign which is positioned at their side entrance. Though it is a more vintage store, they still have a decent selection of food, produce, and even flowers. The staff seemed personable enough, and I found nothing to complain about in my brief stop. Would recommend!

Great craft beer selection! Make sure you build your own six pack. Friendly staff.

Boars head portion does not try, no mayo in the sandwich box and i tried to pick up some turkey slices and the staff member said that he didnt like turkey and that the meats were bland and tasteless. taking my meat business elsewhere.

Kid working the deli lied to me about what time they close so he didnt have to make any food because I interrupted him texting on his phone which is sad because thats really the only place I go and get my sandwiches

Older style Ingles, could use a face lift. Also the deli stops serving fresh breakfast and starts serving full on lunch at 9 in the morning. Like how early does someone have to get up just to get some eggs and bacon

I hate going to this ingles, just because the old man at the meat department yea the one that has been their forever the creep, he stares at you all down and up every single time you go in their...he is weird. Just gives me a weird feeling everytime. Also he is very rude.

Go to Grocery store. If you want it, or need it, chances are they have it, fresh, clean and at a decent price.

Ingles always impress me when I visit NC from South Florida. There is a great selection and competetive prices. The only think I would improve is their Meat Department

Not a great amount of product variety or low-cost alternatives.

It’s really convenient, but having the self check out machines CLOSED at night is really inconvenient. After a long day at work the last thing I want to do is wait in a line, I just want to pay for my 1 or 2 times and leave.

Free moving boxes in Asheville thanks to Danny Buckner Store ManagerThis may be an older store but it is always been well taken care of I get the feeling there is going to be a new store soon with gas pumps outside the store always has awesome employees and has the best produce we are always grateful for the free moving boxes remember this cardboard has value and could be sold out the back door for so much pound but instead youre awesome Community Ingles is paying employees to stack them up neatly carry them to the front of the store and like the community reuse them time and time again please remember to support local and were Sport and support the people that are looking out for your best interest

This has been my store over 17 years, now regular items I buy are being replaced with kids junk.

Its not the most glamorous location but it has what you need and the service is always decent.

LOTS OF UNVACCINATED-NO- MASKERS WORK HERE. I asked employees who got right in my face or space if they were vaccinated. They said no.Apparently they think covering their chin is enough. The manager was angry at ME for asking. Even if you are vaccinated, If you may have a lower immune response DO NOT SHOP HERE.

The last place on earth I will visit. Horrible customer service at the deli 😔. Damn I do wish there was something below one Star. I will not visit that store again 😞

Store is a little outdated and hard to get out of. But its all ways clean and staff helpful.

I love the singles I have went here since I was young with my mother and I still go there and I know some people that work there Im just real familiar with it know where everything is I am very happy with the singles

This Ingles has a lot of room compared to some. It is significantly cleaner than most I’ve seen. A lot of teenagers and older people work here. The teenagers sometimes talk amongst themselves instead of with you. All the older people who work there are superiorly nice. Overall one of my favorite Ingles.

I was surprised at how little of a selection that they have compared to the new store down the street.

Doesnt have a good selection of groceries. A lot of panhandlers in the area. Entrance and exits not labeled well.

This Ingles is decent but they always seems to be out of things and I’ve had a couple times where the produce I was looking at had mold on it. Also, they aren’t enforcing the masks very well, I’ve seen several people without them and one person I saw sneezed on their hands and proceeded to touch everything in front of them. It may have been just the past view visits have been bad, but I’m probably just going to go to a different one.

This is the worst Ingles Ive shopped, in my opinion. Several incompetent and sometimes ignorant employees. Also, some employees smoke right at the entrance to the store. Unacceptable. Come on Ingles, have some standards! I dont encounter this in my experiences at any other Ingles store.

I LOVE THIS STORE AND THE PEOPLE WORKING IN IT! There are many other Ingles nearby but this one deserves a golden star.

Dont have Ingles at home, so it was nice to use a good store.

The prices of food these days is outrageous and unless you have a loyalty card which I hate you have to pay the over priced regular price on products. I know for a fact that this company charges 200-400% higher than the actual cost of the product itself. I know the company needs to make money thats understandable but get rid of your loyalty card so everyone can share in the sales. Look at Publix, no loyalty card. Prices are about the same but everyone enjoys the sales without a dumb loyalty card.

The store was clean and well organized. It made it really easy to find what I needed. The cashier and the bagger were really friendly and made me smile.

A wonderful store the smell alone makes you want to stay long. The best foot wear in Ashevile. Friendly and helpful employees.

Staff wearing masks!!! Yay and they sanitize checkouts. They have 1 way directional markers in aisles. Love it

This is one of the last remaining original Ingles thats left but dont let that stop you from visiting they keep up and pass not others must be the management, their chicken is awesome the people who run the deli are the best better than Subway I believe, try the cracked pepper turkey breast with swiss cheese on grain bread 👍 and their homemade soup THE BEST. Try it youll love it.

Staff is very rude and store does not have a clean feeling to it at all. In addition, I signed up for rewards card over 4 weeks ago and they still have not registered my number. When I still tried to purchase my items at the sale price and didnt care at the moment about fuel rewards, they refused and wouldnt scan any card (there are always extras). The manger then asked another customer as they were walking out the door to come all the way back and scan their card. Im thankful for that customer, not the manager.

The front end managers are so nice & helpful. Cashiers are always willing to help you find things. Ive shopped at Ingles my whole life cant beat the prices and the quality of the produce is fabulous.

It is smaller than some of the other Ingles. Easy to find things. You dont feel like you have to walk miles to get through the store.

The store manager Brenda Clark was so rude to my mother and me. We were polite and kind when we approached her and during the whole conversation despite her responding rudely and talking to us like we were trash. I felt like Ingles would hire better people than that for managers, unfortunately thats not the case.

This ingles is the older store as for room they dont have it. Seem to try to have all the great choices but cannt do it and at the same time very crowded hard to get around

I think this is the original Ingles? Has character! Carefully entering and exiting either from New Leicester or Patton.

Ingles has great freshly made subs and other foods to take on your Parkway trip or hike. We love a simple picnic at the top of the Parkway and they are close to entry points.

Whats it like when u find an oasis in the desert?? Amazing and much better than just water and palm trees ...full of surprises and lots to choose; where your preferences dont seem to work u at all harder to find either... 👍 Examplesbeing with or without refined sugar 🙂💤💤

Blest its heart... Thiz heer is the little ingles that could. Most everybody that goes here is rushing home out to Leicester or sandymush. They do it a little different at this ingles. Which is right, considering. Dont look for lobster or 15 different kinda malbec in the wine section but praise gawd they got miller lite, bud, Coors etc.

So many grocery stores, not the best but a healthy selection of products. Many of these stores about. The main difference is the bakery and meat department. So explore them, they are ready to assist when asked.

Ingles Grocery Stores have all you need. There are plenty in Asheville, NC. The Ingles at Patton Avenue and Liester Hwy. is at a extremely busy corner so beware!

Product selection, quality, and customer service are consistently lower at this location than at other locations. Often when I go through self checkout, I end up having to wait for the employee to authorize something, and they spend several minutes finishing their conversation with a co-worker before attending to me. Im also often not able to find products that many other Ingles carry. And frozen products found here often have a ton of freezer burn, and Im suspicious that some of the products have partially thawed and refrozen. Refridgerated products are just as bad. I once went to get a pack of shredded cheese and had to pull off and give to the stock boy three bags of moldy cheese. The employee didnt seem concerned at all, he barely responded. The only reason I ever still go to this Ingles is that its right on my way home, but I avoid it when I can, and only buy items that arent perishable if I do go there. My advice: go to the one farther down Leicester. It is far better in quality, selection, and service.

I mean, its a grocery store. Its what youd expect. Ingles in general has good products. This one is on the corner of two busy highways and depending on which direction youre going and what time it is, you may have difficulty getting out of the parking lot.

Nice staff and they have most of what you want but this place its desperate for a remodel.

This store has been there forever! And its small. But ALWAYS clean which has to be a job as small as it is. I dont care for Ingles at all- I think they had a captive audience and if you dont want Laura Lynn items in a standard size of a lot things, you wont get it. They have built one on every corner. Way too much trouble to go anywhere else, and too expensive. But this little store is as good as Ingles can get....
