This Target is the Cleanest Nicest Target I have ever been too and all the Staff are Amazing. The Place is Well Lit and the Isles are nice and wide Love going here. I also Love that they have The best Plastic Bags ever Walmart needs to take notes on this and get some real bags and start opening up more than 2 checkout Isles at a time. Go here if you want a Nice Relaxing Shopping Experience. And there Hiring at a Great Starting Pay.

I want to like coming here, I really do.For starters the store is always massively out of stock of many products everytime we come.They dont play music in the store making our shopping trip quite mundane and almost errie.They also dont enforce the mask mandate and more than half of their patrons arent wearing them

The online ordering is so easy to do, it easy to operate and everything is a breeze... and then pick up is amazing, you can go in the door show a code and pick up is done or you dont even have to get out of your car and they will bring your order to you. It doesnt get easier than that.

I love shopping at this Target when were visiting. The store is immaculate and the staff is super friendly. Id call it a hybrid Target as it has a grocery section, but its not as large as a Super Target. Weve never had trouble finding what we need though.

Great! Good clothes, and nobody was being rude at all! But the line are fairly long in afternoons as it is quite a busy target. Some people are very kind and will let you go ahead of them if you have a few items. Served my family well!

This was the worst Target Ive ever been in. Literally a mess. Merch everywhere, I had to clean a shoe aisle so I could get my cart down it. Empty shelves, dont go here for kids clothes because its bare. Staff is everywhere and unhelpful. Customer service was okay but not what I expect from a cashier. Extremely disappointed.

Always crowded and never enough registers open. They have sales people from AT&T that will bug you to death to try and get you to sign up for fiber optics. You see bins and carts with new stock but only like one person in the whole store actually putting things on the shelf. I like Target and they keep their stores well lit and clean. I just wish they had a bigger section for plus size clothes.

Amazing store. I always love coming here and it is always fast, they always have what I need and are great at getting things restocked. Love this Target.

Great store, excellent service! There are a lot of quality employees who work in this store. If you are an Asian, youll have wonderful shopping or work experience here, theyll make you feel Welcome. Good management-not to mention they dont do anything wrong, even they do, they correct themselves quickly. Open minded decent Americans treat others equally with respect, show a great national character.

Everything went perfect, I pulled up into the designated spot, hit the Im here button, I got my code instantly and in about 3 or so minutes a nice person has my order, he checks the code to see if it matches and then puts my package in the place I selected amd tells me to have a nice day.

I love Target. They always take my money and I leave happy.

Visiting from out of state and this is the worst Target I’ve ever been to. Completely disorganized, stock missing everywhere, and the checkout lines were a disaster. There was a line at least 50 deep and no one was called to help the 3 cashiers. Locals seemed to act like this was business as usual. There were no attendants helping direct the line to registers either. The layout was also just nonsensical and crowded.

Its Target. Pretty much says it all. Im not a usual customer of Target but they had Troye sivans Bloom CD with two extra tracks that had just been released. So I had to have it. The CD was only 1099 which seems very good price to me. I bought a couple of other things while I was there reasonably priced. The associates didnt seem very friendly they werent Rude by any means just not as friendly as they could have been. the cashier that checked me out was nice. I passed several Associates in the store and not one of them bothered to speak to me. The store seemed to be well-stocked. I was impressed with their produce.

If you have ever tried to negotiate shopping in the isles of a big box retailer then you know how difficult it is to find an item that you are looking for. Target to its credit is a step up from the Wally Worlds (Walmart), providing as such a better visual and tactile experience for the retail shopper.On the negative side of things, Target lacks sufficient associate help and processes to control of their own store inventory. Upon a recent visit to their River Hills store I found many shelves visually empty and disorganized. When I worked for Walmart some years ago, inventory was controlled by in house associates. If a department was out of a specific item, department mangers had the ability to order a restock to be brought in. In casually speaking with the housewares department manager at Target, he mentioned that inventory was controlled through a national ordering process. If an item was out of stock, then he did not have the ability to order a restock from the local store level. He went on to say that this was Target’s way of being competitive with Amazons model of business. From my own viewpoint however, this was done to solely save on overhead costs and provide you with an assuredly subpar shopping experience. With inventory controlled on a national level, associates are merely expected to function as floor stockers, filling shelves for what they have in their own in-store inventory. If true, this enables Target to cut a significant amount of overhead cost by eliminating much of their in-store management. Sadly this has become all to common experience for you the retail shopper at Target and at many other big box retail stores. In the name of bottom line profits, chronic under-staffing, management, and inventory control will continue to provide you the shopper with a less then optimum retail shopping experience.

Most unprofessional business I have dealt with. They lie and tell you the items you order for pickup is out of stock. Further they bill you for more than the website says. One employee confirms there are items already pulled but the manager changes what the order is. Shady practices and price gouging. That’s against the law and I will be reporting the corporation to consumer affairs.

Such a bad target. Always has empty shelves. Then when you find what you want, the line is 30-40 people deep with two registers open. Multiple times Ive put my stuff back and left to go to Walmart, found the same stuff for cheaper and was out in a few minutes. They need to do better!

Employees do the best they can with a skeleton crew. Like other reviews say, empty shelves, insanely long lines with 13 registers and only 3 of them open. Really REALLY need to hire more people. A fully staffed store makes more money!

I dont really care that everyones brats are back to school. Running out of fundamentals like printer paper lets professionals down. Theyre constantly out of basic things, while flush with junk nobody could ever possibly need. More and more places are this way. If you cant cover the essentials, why should I bother?

My son got karate chopped in the throat by a Naruto wannabe at this target. Food was good though.

I dont have to bring my kids inside!! my orders are usually ready before the 2 hour window, 99.9% of the time the items I order are available and Ive never spent more than 5 minutes on my stuff to be brought out once I check in. Also EVERY single staff member I have encountered in store and pick up have been friendly and attentive.

There’s a reason for all of the negative reviews lately. Worst target I have even been to in my life. Associates are doing all that they can with the skeleton crew and absent management. Lines are always backed up to the back of the store. Shelves are empty. Trash and merchandise everywhere. Save yourself the time and just order online or drive elsewhere to another location.

Bathrooms were disgusting, no tp, garbage overflowiing at 11 am on a Sunday.

I feel bad leaving a 1-star review for this Target because I’ve always had a great experience communicating with the staff there. Especially Wendy the front end manager.BUT.This is the most dysfunctional, archaic Target I have ever stepped in to. It’s WAY too small (the checkout lines that run across the store!!!) don’t get me started on the return line that runs through the teen clothing section— it is also so outdated it’s like a time warp. reminds me of going to Target when I was a teenager...15 yrs ago.Asheville is a growing and bustling little city & Target Corporate needs to invest in our community by giving this always crowded Target a complete overhaul and expansion!

I needed a new TV ASAP and Target had exactly what I needed in stock. I ordered online for curbside pick-up and within an hour it was ready. When I got to Target, the app auto recognized I had arrived and minutes later, two employees came to my vehicle and loaded the TV for me. Super simple and great value on the TV price!

I am very disappointed and angry; I came to Target and purchased a Ninja 9 in 1 Foodi Deluxe cooker for $269.99. Then I came home and saw the exact same one on Amazon for $219.00!!! The exact same one, with the addition of silicone mitts at Best Buy for $219!!! I live 45 minutes away from Target, so going back isnt realistic. I doubt I will shop Target again...this was totally uncalled for :(

Im fairly new to Asheville & this Target store, & after living in 2 other cities with numerous Targets, since the 1990s, this is the worst one ever! Long lines, no dedicated return area, very bad customer service, empty or messy shelves, always dirty bathrooms in time of Covid! So disappointed. Only continue to go for excellent pharmacy which does have its act together!

The store has products not found elsewhere and the produce is exceptional. Helpers always courteous.

Worst customer service I remember receiving in a long time. I went in here specifically thinking Hey were close, lets give Target a chance! and well I now know Im not a Target person. The checkout person was so rude and huffy while checking me out and then when I had trouble with the pin pad it almost felt like I was being yelled at with how I was spoken to.

They overcharged me and didnt give me gift card that was promised if I spent $50 or more online

A ton of pallets stacked with boxes merchandise that were all over the long aisle that runs from clothes to food section pretty much made navigating the back section of the store impossible. I was in the area and stopped to look at the toy department. It was very poorly stocked and the shelves were an absolute disaster.

The lines are always long, the shelves are often out of stock or merchandise in the wrong place, and generally just bad experiences. I do not shop here anymore. Too many better local options.

We came in today looking for a toy for our son, their app said that it was in stock in store but we couldn’t find it so I went to the service lane & the employee, Justin was super nice & quick to help. He got on his walkie & got with the employee in the back & they found it!! He never got an attitude or got huffy & it was just nice to receive such level of great customer service! ❤️

Item was in stock then went to pick up and item was sold. Missed the fine print were they say that can happen.

This is the only store that I have entered during the pandemic that actually cares about the safety of their employees and guests alike. They are strictly enforcing the face covering mandate for our state and actively making sure that people are social distancing and assisting with guests to make sure that this happens. This is just the latest reason that i love shopping at Target, but is by no means the only reason!

For these uncertain times, it’s hard to believe that you can have such an excellent experience. The staff were attentive and didn’t seem to be bothered when asked questions. They all wore masks. They wiped down carts, and they were everywhere we needed them. The line that extended down the entire store took way less time than it seemed to need and I never felt worried about my distance. Fantastic.

Target must hate their employees or just trying to get a bonus for having a lack of employees. This store is so understaffed it’s appalling. Not enough people on the floor and not enough cashiers. Is this Walmart or target. Over heard a team member of 8 years complaining how they only gave her 8 hours for the whole week.

Super quick drive-up pickup service! A very polite store associate brought my items out within 2 minutes! There was a long line of people waiting to get inside the store, Im very glad I chose the drive-up service and will use it again

I was in line to get a coffee at Starbucks inside the target store. I pulled my mask down just under my nose to breathe. I am claustrophobic. Immediately I was told to put my mask on. Not happy. Feels like I was being talked down to. I will stay away until the mask issue is over.

Always busy and chaotic. Not a large array of lego available which is why we went. This could be due to the pandemic though so not a fair time to criticize. They had a sign in the front of the store to tell you which items were out of stock such as toilet roll and hand sanitizer etc. I thought that was very useful. Otherwise, normal target experience.

This Target location has gotten it right with respect to social distancing and beyond! Management has clear marked the floors so you know where to stand. The cashiers all have gloves and mask. The even sanitize all surface between customers. Great job protecting themselves and the public during this Covid 19crisis.

Nice selection, fast service, good price. Ive been looking for the perfect purse to replace my old one which was about to fall apart. They had exactly what I needed. Also might have found my sons Halloween costume. Hes 17 and has something in mind and I couldnt believe I found it there. Well see how that goes...

We were amazed by the customer service there. We bought a kids bike, the only girls bike left on a very busy evening close to Christmas and they went out of their way as we asked if they could build the bike. I don’t believe it is their policy but they asked and asked around if someone there could possibly take the time on this busy evening and season to build the bike for us. They did it right then and there with such a sweet spirit of hospitality. We were overwhelmed with their willingness to make it work, to get the bike put together for us.

Target has the most polite and friendliest employees of all the department stores. They all deserve a raise! Not to mention how fast and easy drive up orders are. Love this place!

Add self checkout!! I hate coming here because it takes forever to check out. The items I shop for never seem to be in stock. The grocery selection is pretty limited. I only come here because it is so close to where I live and they have higher quality products compared to Walmart. The drive up pick up is nice but can’t get most food items.

Fast and friendly when you are in a hurry. Everything was correct, no lines to wait in, and didnt have to hunt for what I wanted. Excellent service.

The staff here is amazing. They are always willing to help and answer questions. Returns have always been hassle-free for us. And they are quick to resolve pricing issues. Their staff is well trained and definitely live by the customer first philosophy. Ive never had a bad experience here. Target does it right.

I have been to this Target several times over the past month for various everyday items and every time we go their shelves are bare. Isles of nothing but empty hooks from toys to hair accessories to bedding this Target never seems to be able to keep anything stocked. The clothing sections and shoe sections are in constant disarray. Living in this area, you will find it’s best to drive all the way to Arden instead.

Brandon at electronics worked an hour to try to activate my SIM card I bought on my phone. He was exceedingly kind and worked very hard. I really appreciated his professional attitude and patience. He deserves a raise!!! Bravo to Brandon.

When I went to pick up my order first of all the nice lady (I didnt get her name) that was at the pick up desk could only find 1 of my orders, so she went to ask another lady whos name was Angela. I think maybe she was a manager but not sure. Anyway she found my order and it was different than the discription online. Angela knew that there had been a mistake on the website and was quick to explain that to me before I even said anything. She told me that she would honor what it said and make it right for me. She was super nice and helpful and apologized multiple times for the wrong description online and apologized for not having the right order together when I got there. (They did have the order together but not what product described online) no fault on their part at all as Im sure they didnt not know if I was going to take what the product was suppose to be or what it was described as. Anyway kind of confusing to type. But anyway she went above and beyond to make sure that I was 100% happy and satisfied. I love this target, all employees Ive ever dealt with are outstanding. I hope target continues to have excellent customer service and super employees. I also wanna just say thank you to Angela for helping my get my order right.

Poor customer service. I was shopping with my daughter looking at bathing suites when a staff member so rudely told us the dressing rooms were closed. We did not even ask her opinion or anything she just gave us a hateful look and repeated you do know they are closed so hateful and rude. Extremely disrespectful! Will never go back to this location.

The employees at this Target have always been wonderful. They have absolutely risen to the challenge of helping customers who, like me, are self-quarantined for their health.

I always enjoy shopping at this Target location. Brightly lit, well-maintained, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The women’s clothing sale section can get a bit wild/messy but if you’re patient there’s good deals!

This place got the job done in a pinch. My mom was able to find some newborn outfits which are absolutely adorable! I needed a zip up hoodie and I found one of clearance for only $6! I also needed a nursing top - something in a neutral color that was fitted. They had one - ONE - shirt that fit that description. And it was only a small. I really wish theyd had a better selection of Options.But check-out wasnt busy which was amazing. And, as always, I love my target card discount. Good perks!

Super easy and great drive up shopping

Very nice and clean Target store. They do have fresh groceries. The checkout/guest service center is totally different than most other Target stores Ive been to. They have 4 registers as Guest service & checkout area. But they dont have self checkout. I did saw a deal on Tyson wings bogo 50% would been under $3 for 2 packages. But I was traveling.

The back half of the store is full of pallets. This makes social distancing almost impossible when everyone has to go down isles that are now half the size.

The last 3 times I have gone there has been difficult. There are boxes in the aisles and you cant get through with your buggy/ cart.

I have always loved Target. However, I bought Beats Headphones for 179.99 because the sales associate told me they wouldnt be any cheaper on Black Friday. After I left the store, I found out they will be 129.99 on Black Friday. I live 1.5 hours away from the nearest Target. I cant just return them and go back in on Black Friday. Very disappointing. I also know Best Buy sells them now at 142.99 which is 30 plus dollars cheaper.

I have placed two on-line orders, and everything was shipped in timely manner. In the store itself, I find competitive prices, and great clearance items. Always friendly and cheerful service. A pleasure to shop at Target.

Horrible place to work... Dont work for them weather it be seasonal or not. They tell you one thing and turn right around and do the other. Why fire well trained staff just because they are seasonal, when you are literally hiring new people at the same time. The managers love drama here and definitely have their favorites.
