Overall this Triple A is very solid. Kind of pricey but the mechanics almost always do great work. My only issue is with one employee who works in the front who doesn’t seem to listen to anything you tell him and doesn’t seem to know anything whatsoever about cars. He lost my car keys on multiple occasions and was asked give notes for callbacks from the much more competent employees but never does. He isn’t able to give you worst or best case scenarios on what problems your car has and on several occasions I’ve told him what part I will need to be ordered to fix my car but did not order it causing my car to have to sit there for an extra two days while they got the part in.

They took good care of our car and were very helpful concerning our car and the recall of the 2017 Hyundai cars we were dealing with. Thankful for their insight!

I have been going here for years and thought I was getting honest and good service. I was just recommended to have some work done on my car and because of the high cost I price checked the work and the recommendation. It turns out they recommended some thing that is not needed on the car and if it were another reputable Mechanic would charge less than half the price. I will not be coming back.

Im very happy with my experience with Andrew and his staff. I was expecting to have to replace my entire oil pan because of a faulty plug, but he was able to re-thread and repair it. That saved a lot in parts and labor. It seemed like they really wanted what was best for the customer and their car.

Misdiagnosed my car repair which could have been costly. I had my car shipped to my local shop and they were able to identify the issue.

Slid into a ditch and couldnt get out. Called my insurance company - I was on the phone for 25 minutes. Hung up and called AAA. They sent service out right away. Hatton Towing did a great job and I was safe and home in 15 minutes.

Overall great work! Place was clean and comfortable, people were clear and good natured, service went well. Will definitely use them again. Only small thing was that when I initially walked in they asked me what service I was there for, when it was in the appointment I made online. Very small wrinkle, not a biggie.

I take my car regularly for oil changes and the service is always good. I recently had a very positive experience that upped my loyalty even more. My oil light came on so I went by to see if it was possible to get the oil changed as I needed to take my grandchildren home the next day. They were fully booked but after I explained the situation and asked if they could top off the oil and then I would come back when an appt was available, the manager said I will work you in because the safest thing is to change the oil. So he did. I waited in the waiting room with my 3 little grandchildren. Thankfully the oil change did not take too long.

Great service, really pleasant fellow who came to deal with tire trouble. Got me back on the road which I truly appreciate.

Since I have an older car, I use this Center already for three years. The frontstaff as well as the mechanics are very helpful, honest and always give good advise. I would recommend them anytime. Also some of my friends use them and never had any complaints.

Excellent customer service and value. I really like having all of the AAA services in one spot. I can get my oil changed, tires rotated, update my homeowners/auto insurance (highly recommend using David at this location for insurance coverage, really nice guy), and get some travel ideas/resources in one stop.

State Inspection. They are always quick and nice but this time was the BEST! VERY quick and so polite and engaging. Even turned my truck around facing out so all I had to do was pull right out. The BEST!!!

I recently had an emergency while vacationing in Asheville and visited the AAA store. I was blown away by the genuine care, professionalism and immediate action taken by the staff. Brian was amazing and they helped us in under 45 minutes. They could tell we were worried and kept us updated the entire time. I can’t recommend this location and their top-notch customer service enough!!!

I live in Charlotte. I was visiting my daughter in Asheville. Twenty minutes away from Asheville, my tire light came on. Im a AAA member, so as soon as I arrived in Asheville, I stopped at this AAA location.Andrew was so helpful! He checked all of my tires & filled them correctly with air. He was very professional, friendly and SO kind to help me. I was traveling alone & had to make the drive back to Charlotte that evening.Thankful for his help!!! Because of his service, my daughter will use this location for her car maintenance/service in the future. I can’t thank Andrew enough!! I drove back to Charlotte that evening, stress free and safe! If I could give them 10 starts I would. These guys are very competent and offer outstanding customer service. Just ask for Big G when you go in. My engine light came on at the onset of our 10 day vacation. Ran very rough. Was able to get the car to this this service center the next afternoon. First thing next morning, received call with estimate. It was fixed and ready for pickup within 3 hours. And we were back in vacation mode in just a matter of hours. The service was great all of the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. My car died on me and I had it towed here. They immediately got to work inspecting the problem. Unfortunately the damage to my car couldnt be fixed but they didnt charge me for anything but a diagnostic. They showed great integrity and honesty by letting me know they couldnt fix it and not attempting repairs just to charge me. I really appreciated the great service and will definitely be using their services again should I need any work done on my car!

Decided to tour home state of NC. Went to Hendersonville office, then Asheville office for expert road trip advice. No one knows NC places to visit. Must be there to sell tours and cruises and to print Triptiks from computer. Wasted trip. Question why I belong.

Brian was excellent. We were traveling from Fayetteville NC to Asheville and our check engine light came on. Brian took care of us and was extremely professional. He did a great job at communicating with us the issues and ensured all of our membership perks were taken advantaged of.

Went in for passport photos. We were greeted promptly and courteously and had our pics in just a couple minutes. Best of all, for plus and premium members, they were free.

I absolutely love this place!! The employees are all so nice, responsive, and talented. They take their work serious and have gone above and beyond to take care of me and my car. I am so happy I switched to their car care center.

3 tier pricing...for an oil change??!?Moderately high through outrageous pricing options. Wont be returning there for AN OIL CHANGE.

Closed on Sunday so if u break down u r out of luck. Where the car care place Is no food or hotel. Make sure u dont need a transmission either they will try to say thats it.

Very upset with AAA ASHEVILLE located on 178 merrimon ave asheville, nc. i called yesterday at a little past 8 am. i wanted them to change my oil and put a new set of plugs and ignition coils on. i wanted to see how much they would charge to do that for me. its nearly 1 pm today and still no return phone call with an answer. tell me how thats real and true customer service.

The only criticism Is that I was not absolutely sure my car was wiped down inside after having been worked on. I think that would’ve been nice to know. Otherwise everything was great.

Super friendly staff and quick service! I don’t know much about car repair but we are from out of town and they helped in a pinch. $685 with AAA member discount for alternator, belt, and labor. It was worth it to get my car taken care of quickly.

Normally, I love AAA services. Have been a member for many years. I made an appointment for inspection and tire rotation, and said I would be waiting there during the service. When I got there they said it would be 2 hr wait. I said ok just the inspection then. They said still 1.5 hours... Because they had a lot of other appointments. Hmmm. Service rep was outstanding however - professional and friendly.

Do not patronize corporate shops. It is a racket. I had a no start condition and paid over $600 to have an EGR valve replaced, which I felt like wasnt the issue but was busy and desperate. Broke down on the highway a week later. Took to the forums and turns out it was the ignition cylinder, a $50 fix. Also saw an elderly woman crying in the waiting room because of all the repairs they said she needed that she couldnt afford. Its really sickening the way these places operate in such a predatory fashion. I only keep a membership for in case I break down in the desert, but even then youll wait 8 eternities for a tow to get there.

These guys are great. They know engines WAY more than I do, and I trust them to keep my cars working well.

The only mechanic I trust. They care about my 1987 pickup like its their own. Stellar attitude plus reasonable prices (and fabulous warranties). I do miss their shuttle service but theyll get you a Lyft if you need one.

The work completed on my car was fine, and it was completed promptly. What I didnt like was seeing AAA employees walking around with masks below their noses, or masks completely off.

The service is great and the waiting room and ladies room are clean. Randy and Tommy in service are excellent and Renee the porter is wonderful. I am a woman of a certain age and to be able to get a ride to and from a woman to my home and back to AAA is very comforting with no worries. Prices however have gotten quite high and that is a true concern.

First of all I just want to say that I have been a triple AAA member for years, and its not ok to be treated this way. I had to get automotive work done. And after they added all this BS fees, of services that I didnt really need, I made them take these things off! They will upcharge you, and then try to Gaslight you when you get the bill. Secondly, I told them that I only had a certain time I could fill out an application, to receive a Triple AAA card. It was understood. when I went inside after work to fill out an application, And none of their equipment for filling out an application, for a card were working!! None of them! They were not prepared at all. I sat there for nearly 30 minutes patiently as the lady ran around I can find a way to fill out my application. it dragged on and on, and when they couldnt fill out my application, they told me to come back the next day period at some point they pulled it up, and had even more trouble period after this my car was basically held hostage, even though it wasnt my fault and they were the ones having technical difficulties. The store basically closed around me, and when I walked out to try to calm down because things had escalated, I was locked out of the building. The lack of professionalism and customer service was absolutely appalling, and I will never deal with this AAA again. They were very rude and unprofessional! And when I spoke to the manager, I was basically told that I shouldnt have gotten service done if I couldnt pay for it. He was so rude and condescending on the phone. this needs to be reported, because Ive been a member for years and nobody should be treated this way, because none of this was my fault. They did absolutely NOTHING to recompense the situation, or try to satisfy the customer! Just awful. And unprofessional!

I went to pick my car up after having the brake lines replaced. I noticed immediately that there was damage to the front left fender. It was clearly fresh as there was both paint and a metal shaving hanging off from where it was damaged.When I showed one of their service members, the manager stuck his head out the door and yelled “it came in like that” and basically told me to get lost. I made him look at it and his response was “oh” (he didn’t know what I was talking about until he saw it). He was incredibly disrespectful and treated me like garbage until he realized that I was correct. The customer service team was very professional, except for the manager.I work in mechanical service and have never seen a “manager” behave so poorly to a customer.

I came into town from another state and my car died. Everyone was so nice and super helpful. My car was fixed in time for me to head home without using a day of work. I will definitely use their service when I move to Asheville in the near future.

My visit to AAA Car Care was great. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Renee and Randy Vera the manager. My car was taken right in and I received updates all through the process. I was checked out quickly and was soon on my way. I appreciate the fact that they did not recommend work that was not needed. I have been in the car business for many years and this is one company that can be trusted with your vehicle.

Did a yearly car inspection. Everyone was wearing a mask, thorough and fast inspection. Very pleased!

Second time to have my car repaired here. The staff here is wonderful and service excellent. I took advantage of the Porter service and Renee was delightful and a very good driver. This Porter Service is one reason to come here and not not have to sit for hours waiting for the job to be finished.

AAA-Asheville has always been a good and reliable place to take my car, and Ive had many pleasant experiences. I would like to thank all of the hard working persons that have helped me with my car troubles in the past. I would especially like to thank Renee for making my day a lot brighter each time I able to see her smiling face. Car troubles are frustrating, but Renee is always helpful, kind, and keeps me laughing; and that goes a long way in a repair shop. She is a true asset to that company, and I hope that I will always be able to see her each time I have to have work done on my car.

We had a battery replaced four months ago by a AAA tech that came to our car. The battery went bad and the AAA office checked and replaced the battery as well as went through a detailed diagnostic to eliminate other problems. Very happy and would use again!

Very professional and courteous. I definitely appreciate having a warranty on work completed since my vehicle has over 200 K miles on it. My only issue is charging $100 for a diagnostic if you have the work completed there. Should only be charged if you do not have the repair completed at the location to compensate for their time. Other than that pricing is fair.

My only issue with my service there was that the service technician did not listen to my actual problem, which was the battery, before they went ahead and completed the service. When They called me to tell me my vehicle was done, I asked them about the battery--and they hadnt replaced it. When they went back and checked it again, the battery was bad and they replaced it under warranty. But if they had listened to me in the 1st place it would have saved us both time and trouble.

The price and value for an oil change here is much better than any other place I have found in the Asheville/Canton/Waynesville area. Now, I am a AAA member so I do get a discount, however even if you are not, the value is still great! Plus the employees are always welcoming and helpful (even during COVID-19 times). The first time I went, about 2 years ago, I did have to wait a very long time as they had a call out with on of their workers. However, they gave 10% off since I had to wait so long. Because of that I decided to give them another shot, and Im so glad I did! They definitely have made up for it, and typically it will take about 45min to an hour for an oil change, which is great! 10/10 recommend.

Absolute horrible company. I specifically told them I was signing up because I needed my car towed to me from out of state, and I was told it would be no problem. I was given specific instructions on how to make this happen and everything. I just had to wait a certain number of days for my membership to kick in and then call roadside. I would get the first 200 miles free and pay for the remainder out of pocket. No problem... HOGWASH! After a bunch of money and time wasted, I was told it was all a LIE. I cannot STAND liars. Whatever happened to the integrity of a company? There is NO such thing as customer service or a company that will stand behind the word of one of its representatives (OF said company) anymore. Absolute garbage. Google really has to allow a ZERO stars option cause that would definitely apply here. If you appreciate loyalty, honesty, and integrity from the companies you do business with, you should certainly keep looking cause you definitely won’t find it with these people. 😡

They were prompt and courteous and did the test and information in a timely manner. They came with the results and proceeded with the work. The work was done and the they came and told me the vehicle was ready.explained all that was dome and advised of the warranty..they were great.

I loved who came out and helped me when no one else could or would. He was prompt, professional, and very concerned with my safety. What surprised me was the constant updates of where he was and arrived earlier than expected. Ive told everyone about this place and to make sure they all have AAA!

My little old car needed a tune up and I now live very close by. The service here is spectacular. Not something Ive ever said about any repair shop. Is it expensive? That depends on the car. Mine is older, needs a lot of care, and Nissan isnt making the parts anymore. I paid 500 for a diagnostic and to get a hard to find wheel bearing and put it on but these folks did a fine job in less than 24 hours AND drove me home AND picked me back up!!Now its smooth as silk and there is a good warranty on the work. I didnt have to wait and no need for Uber or help of any kind. So worth it. FIVE STARS

No question that this is the place for car repairs. The people are nice and professional. The place is clean and comfortable. I went this last time at the appointed time and was seen to right away. They found a minor problem and fixed it for free. Yes. Larger repairs in the past were done at a reasonable price.

Friendly, professional, and timely.

I have used AAA many times in the past, never again. I had an appointment at 10:15 for an oil change. I dropped the car off at 9:45. When I returned at 1 pm the car had not even had the service started. I simply then drove to jiffy lube, had the service taken care of in twenty minutes. What is the point of having a reservation, if they cant get an oil change done in three hours.

Let me start by saying if you join AAA for the travel benefits or discounts, I would think again. I have found those savings to be nominal or not at all. As far as the roadside assistance it is good, but read the fine print. Especially if you have a larger vehicle, truck or dually. However the car care center is great. They have a pleasant staff. Clean and neat facilities. Time efficient. I feel they go the extra step to check our vehicles. Pretty good price and value especially with the coupons we get all the time. Took my car to get oil change and they notified me that my brakes were near needing changing. (they were within a mm of needing change to save rotors. Verified by my husband) I was not surprised since my car has about 45000 miles on it with original brakes. Since we were leaving for vacation in a few days I went ahead and had them to change them. Only took about an additional hour. I have used their car care center for years and if not for that I would not have the membership.

AAA Asheville is great! The facility is nice and the staff is wonderful. Bryan has always been super helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

In spite of your advertising about all your safety precautions, when I walked in, none of the service writers was wearing a mask. As masks are worn primarily to protect others, the lack of masks shows great disrespect for your customers and makes one wonder whether you are following any of the other safety precautions you advertise.

I recently decided to try out the AAA for my service instead of the Subaru dealer. The difference in the level of customer service was massive! The AAA office called to confirm my appointment, was timely and thorough, and even offered to drive me home while my car was being serviced. The driver, (cant recall her name,) was extremely pleasant and accommodating and stressed how happy she would be to pick me up, ( I didnt need this.). My car was taken care of with reasonable prices and in a reasonable time period. This will now be my service dealer!

I save money by going to Triple AAA Car Care, but also, they never b.s. me about how long it will be AND this time I had a bubble and a screw in one tire, so I basically needed 2 new front tires, and I was only there for an oil change and tire rotation. I am grateful for their thoroughness and honesty! Also, Renee the Porter introduced herself to me and was very helpful and gracious.

Took my car there with a coolant leak they said they could not find a problemtook it back two weeks later when leak got worse they said i had a cracked head gasket & it would cost $4,500.00 to fix got second opinion & it was the heater core $ 12.00 to bypass $ 850.00 to fix. bypassed & and have no leaks & no fogging of windows been driving great for last three weeks with no problems.Called & told them and they want to pressure test again. I told them they pressure tested the first time & said there was no problem & at this point I dont trust you they said they understood.

After my car died from fuel pump failure, AA towing arrived within 20 minutes, with a very competent and friendly operator. Delivered car to AAA ashville since it was open Saturday and I got a quick diagnosis. Car was repaired on Monday. Very efficient and effective.

I had the first appointment of the day. 8am for an oil change and tire rotation. I was the first customer in the AAAcar care center at 7:59. They pulled my car into the back shop at 8:38! The mechanics BLASTED heavy metal that reached the travel dept. Customers with oil change appts after me where finished before my car.
