We enjoyed this place. We had a half Tartufo (mushroom) and the works. Both were good. Greek salad was okay too. Service was great. I would recommend this place.

We ate at Fireworks Pizza the other night for the first time in over a year. We were amazed that Evan the manager pulled together a table for 8 adults and 4 kiddos in the best spot ever on the outdoor patio! Vanessa our top notch server was constantly checking on us! Matt our friendly bartender was helpful with suggestions and Julia was our most pleasant hostess. The food was delicious as always. Fireworks Pizza you are the best. We will always recommend you to all our friends and we will keep coming back. Thanks so much.

Fireworks always has something on their beer list to surprise you! Draft list is on point with a good blend of styles. Package beer is slightly stifled with many IPAs, which may be popular, but limited by expiration.Food is always solid and so is service!

Ill start with the good. The ambiance and beer list are absolutely fantastic, and their happy hour(3-6) seems to be a good deal. That being said, I have eaten here 2 times over the last 6 months, and their food is borderline inedible. I had the exact same pizza hoping it would change, but I literally couldnt finish it. If you knew me, that would be all you would need to know. My girlfriend also thought her lobster roll (pictured) was off. I give 3 stars because if you are just coming here for drinks, then youre going to have a good time I believe. Just dont bother with the food.I try to leave only positive reviews to counteract people who only leave negative reviews, but this place needs to change. I want it to be good so bad, but it just is not. That being said, Vanesa, our waitress, was attentive and super nice.

Great spot, nice vibes and huge patio area with covered and uncovered area. Good service and food and VERY dog friendly they even have a little dog food menu! Will definitely be back!

We had a terrific experience here. We had our childs birthday party and Ava was wonderful in helping us prepare, select our options and working with us on some specific requests that we had. It rained on the day of our event and Ava accommodated us quickly and hassle-free. The pizza selection was great and the food was very good. I recommend this place for an event, as well as for dinner.

Pizzas were really good. The ingredients were fresh and the take out service was lightning fast. They are small though. Think of them more as a personal pizza rather than one for sharing.

The gluten free pizza is to DIE FOR!! Crust isn’t too crispy for a skinny crust and the toppings are soo authentic. You get more than what you pay for honesty!!! Amazing prices! The gluten free cookie sundae is also yummy. I get it without the chocolate drizzle, to me it doesn’t compliment the cookie. One of my favorite new pizza places

This pizza was amazing! House blend cheese and marinara, meatballs, bacon, roasted garlic, roasted onions, roasted peppers, and tomatoes. Crust very good and not overpowering. Would definitely eat there again.

Love their pizza here and the service is one of a kind. They pretty much have it all and I strongly recommend giving them a try when you have a chance.

The food and drinks were very good for brunch, the frozen Moscow Mule, Rose sangria drinks is a must get for brunch. Dont forget the brain freeze. The chicken biscuit, shrimp and grits shrimp skewer for brunch that stands out bacon is always a good choice for meat and pork eaters

We went on a Friday night and sat on the big outdoor space (accessible outdoor space and seating). Service and food was great. We tried three vegotarian pizzas and loved them all. We got multiple drinks and liked our cocktails and beer options. We had a Sunday for desert that was decadent and fun!

I always wanted to try Fire works. I had hear a lot about it. So after a day at the Zoo we went to Fire works to try their pizza it was a great day and my chance to try something that would make a great day even better. As soon as I came in Danisha took great care of me. She provided me a menu, suggested a few pizzas, cleared a few doubts that I had and took my order promptly, she offered me a seat and water while I waited, she was great. The service was top notch, the place looked great, I wish I could have eaten there, but took my pizza and ate it in the car with my wife and kid. The pizza was on point, one of the best Ive ever had, great ingredients, amount of the ingredients was great, the crust was fenomenal and overall just a great eating experience. It was well worth the try and will definitely be going there again at least once a month. Thank you Danisha and thank you to all the servers and cooks at Fire works, you rock.

The drinks were good, the pasta was tasteless. The silverware was wrapped in a napkin that was full of lint, the waiter slammed another setting on my table then gave me a dirty check book

**Do not recommend. Came here with my family of 5 for a nice dinner. We were sat quickly but unfortunately, once we were seated, we were completely ignored. We sat for 10-15 mins assuming our server was busy but then we saw three other tables, that arrived after our party, get serviced and we still were completely ignored. We kindly asked the host to remind our server that we had been waiting for service, finally, asked a busboy for water, waited another 10 mins before we walked out. We called the restaurant to talk to a manager about the experience, the manager did not care, we then talked to the manager in the restaurant, also stated the situation was unfortunate. They did not apologize or care they we were not offered service. *No one wanted to wait on the only black family. Spend your money on a more inclusive restaurant with better staff.

Plenty of outdoor dining space with heaters!The pizza here is great! Nice thin crust, but enough to enjoy and save the other half for later (later that night, that is). The bacon fat fries are good enough to make me turn a blind eye to my usual abstaining from pork. To balance it all out, I love the spinach salad. I know, I know youre going out to eat, why would you get a salad? But the blue cheese, nuts, blackberries, and delicious maple balsamic dressing make it worth it. Plus, you can get a side portion so you still have room for pizza. Enjoy!

Fantastic pizza and they made it very quickly on a very busy Saturday night. Crust was chewy and had a nice flavor. The toppings were great and they added just the right amount of them.

Wanted some wood fire pizza on our way to the movies. Found fire works. Very nice inside. Seems a bit too classy for me. Saw they had slices but for some reason they don’t offer that for carry out. That’s a bummer, so I had to order a small. Didn’t need a whole large. Overall the pizza was good. Good crust, not much of a wood fire taste. Hot out of the oven. I would go back if I was in the area again.

This place used to be great, they had great service, good food, and they had a dog menu. Im not sure if they underwent new management, but during the pandemic their service slowly declined. The last time we went, we were immediately seated, but then sat for 30 minutes. We had to seek out a waiter. 15 minutes later, we finally get to place an order. An hour and fifteen minutes in, we receive our food, but all our orders were wrong :(

The food was generally good. The wood-fired pizza was delicious. It had a distinct flavor that was much better than regular oven pizza. Service was quick for eat-in and takeout. Prices were reasonable for the area. It is a popular place, so it did get loud when crowded in the evening.

Have been here several times, including random nights, Mardi Gras (because Bayou & Ragtime were *packed*), and most recently the family-style takeout because COVID-19. Solid every time. Im obsessed with the sauce on the spaghetti squash pasta, tons of fresh herbs & garlic. Vegetarian taco starter was a happy surprise - youd swear the jackfruit was meat (try it if you dont believe me!)Jambalaya & Sazerac specials for Mardi Gras were delightful, even if not their normal fare. Looks like they put in TVs on the pet-friendly patio, and I cant wait to go there and watch a game on those once this is over. #SupportLocal

Great service. Great food. This place is known for their pizza for good reason. I couldnt decide between two pizzas so I ordered a half Black Sheep / half Barcelona pizza, which was excellent. The Barcelona pizza tipped the scales slightly so next time Ill go with that one. Great beer choices too.

Slow service. Wrong drinks. Doughy pizza. Bad handling of payment. Not sure why the reviews are good here. Staff were very friendly but the doughy pizza was a huge disappointment given the wood fired oven. Cant recommend.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Waiting for to pay my bill currently. First the host immediately sat us outside without asking if that was our preference. My server took 10-15 mins to greet the table and had a horrible service. We just drove 2 1/2 hours and was starving. She greeted the table with an attitude and I received the wrong food. I just ate it because I couldn’t wait longer for her to come back. The pasta had more meat than pasta. I literally picked out everything. Never checked on us, asked if we needed anything. Finally we get the check that we HAD to ask for. My boyfriend and I sat there waiting for her to come back and she was too busy chit chatting. My boyfriend got upset and just needed up taking it to another server. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN. Do better .

Best pizza Ive had in NOVA, the crust is so flavorful! And the sauce is amazing as well. The service has always been amazing and very quick, picking up or on the patio. All the appetizers are great as well.

The pizza was great. The service was slightly less than professional, a bit disorganized, but only slightly. Less than sixty seconds after we gave our waiter our order another server tried to deliver two pizzas to our table. He had the wrong table. My son ordered milk. It came in a box without a straw and spilled when we tried to open it. We had some trouble finding the entrance. If you approach from the east it is really hard to find the front door. Needs better signage. But like I said the food was good and the other things were minor.

My GF-lacto vegetarian pizza (Bianca) was absolutely delicious. Id rank it 8 out of 10. So far, its the been the best gluten free crust Ive tried and the crust is vegan so thats always a plus since Im allergic to eggs and wheat! My partner ordered a build your own pizza (with lots of meat) on regular crust and he gave it an 8 out of 10 as well!! Our waitress, Samantha, was attentive and assisted with all of my dietary concerns and allergies. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Only note to staff and chef: gluten free pizza crust was slightly burnt on one side and womens restaurant was out of teepee in the first stall (definitely not pleasant).

We ordered takeout for our first time tonight! The pizzas were delicious! The young gentleman at the front helped us with our order and recommended we try a little of everything! So we ended up doing the taco pizza on half, along with smokey blue which had bacon on a large pie? We ate a few slices on the bench in the plaza and when we got home we had the smaller pie for the others! Great place, will try again soon! Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but most importantly they seem to be taking precautions during Covid so kudos to them!

I would love to have given Fire Works five stars... everything was going brilliantly - good service, excellent pizza - until the manager came over to confess (after wed finished) that they had failed to make my pizza the gluten-free one Id ordered. Thankfully Im not a celiac, but I am very gluten intolerant and had a seriously uncomfortable week after that. Really, really not a good mistake to make. In addition, my husband was really ill for 48 hours after we are there, and my daughter was sick too - hard to know if that was down to the pizza they shared but its totally put us off going back. A real shame because as I said, the pizza was really good!!

Never anything less than fantastic. If you want wood fired pizza then this is the place - #1 in the DMV in my humble opinion. Non pizza options are also pretty good, would recommend the bolognese.Prices very competitive too - the lunch special (personal pizza + salad for ~$8) is arguably the best value of its kind in the neighborhood.Ideal restaurant in COVID times, they have a wonderful large outdoor patio space and appear to take mask wearing and sanitizing quite seriously.

They used to be one of my favorite places - now they are a wildly overpriced shop with 50% the product they used to have.You’ll pay $25 for what should be $10. Everything is sized down and added costs.Save your Money and go elsewhere

Love the pizzas. It’s been a while since I’ve been due to COVID and an illness just before that but you’ve always been my go to after a long workout because you have the best meatball sub around. I went Saturday after running my virtual Marine Corps Marathon and was super disappointed to find out you changed the bread on the sub. It’s not nearly as good. Please bring the old recipe back!!

Very disappointed with the service, my wife and I went a while back to check out the local restaurants in the area. Our waiter didnt know the menu, got my wife the wrong drinks but blamed the bartender and then when we were starting to enjoy the food a bald gentlemen by the name of John decided to come speak to us about nonsense for 15 minutes while we were just trying to enjoy each others company. We didnt want to be rude, but come on man read the signs. We just got out food, we really dont want to speak to you with food in our mouths. Needless to say half the ice in our drinks had melted after he was done chatting it up.

Visited twice during the stay in Washington and loved it every time. It is a great place to stop just for the beers, picking from the endless selection of both draught and bottled beer. It is also great for having a good fresh pizza. Recommend!

Saw all of these great reviews and images of pizzas....what the heck happened to my pizza? Soft, limp, cold, and loads of bad flavor ( Bailee did like the mushrooms you used on the pie) pepperoni rolls were ok. Was really looking forward to something good.

Came here with the wife for date night. Our server was great, he talked my wife into a mojito when she didnt know what she wanted. The fries were great, albeit I couldnt taste the bacon fat. Tomato jam I didnt think Id like but boy I was wrong. Pizza was great as youd expect - we took home a box but finished it later that night! Their patio is great and also heated, so on a chilly night you should be just fine. We will come back much more often!

Excellent happy hour deals, delicious woodfire pizza, and a large, dog-friendly patio area makes this place one of my favorites in the courthouse area. They dont take reservations for the patio area (which I wasnt too happy to learn), but theres a dedicated section of the patio where you can order drinks and relax while you wait for your table, which is an awesome policy.

Consistently great food whether dining in or carrying out. Also holds up well via delivery/courier. The wood-fired pizza and sandwiches have been reliable for 10+ years, and the spaghetti lamb bolognese is worth branching out from any similar gastropubs you might already frequent.

Grilled Cheese Alton Brown style, really good. Had almost everything on the menu, always good.

Fire works seems like a great place to just hand out and have drink and some food. Its actually more than that when you first walk in you see the wood fired oven and array of drinks at the bar. We ordered a pizza that was absolutley delicious and some craft beers that were great. My wife and I will definitely come here again as we just moved to the DC area. Thank you Fire Works for showing what we can have here.

The pizza is pretty good, but the majority of the heavy lifting taste wise is done by the crust which is amazing but the sauce is so lackluster and the topings are either undercooked or taste low quality. The service is great and everything else is really great though. The Bacon Fat Fries are next level.

When I went a few months ago, the food and service were both pretty good. However, I also ordered Buffalo Trace bourbon neat. What I ended up getting was a very watered down product, probably no more than 30% alcohol tops. After I got home, I immediately poured myself the same drink for comparison and confirmed the stark difference. Id advise against getting alcohol when visiting this restaurant/bar.

Ordered a 14” Fireworks and 10” Harvester. Paid $45.50 and gave the driver another $10 (Covid relief) - sadly I paid $55.50 for a cold pizza for which I waited 74 minutes! It tastes like grease and cardboard. Very disappointed. This was my first time trying this company, wanted to try something new. Big mistake. Going back to Papa Johns.

I have always had a pretty good experience with the Courthouse location. Most of the time the food is decent. TODAY I placed a large order for my staff and received a text message notifying me that the order was ready for pickup. I walked to location and saw the order sitting on the bar counter. A gentleman as standing at the front placing orders on the computer and did not acknowledge my presence. I figured that maybe I could just pick up the order as it was already paid for. As I started to walk towards the bar to get order, then the gentleman noticed me and he started speaking to me an a very unprofessional and disrespectful manner, I turned around and left. Trying to patronize this establishment during the pandemic, as it is a local business near my job, but obviously it was a mistake today. I will never eat in this establishment again. How you treat customers is more important to me than anything else.

Fantastic pizzas at very reasonable prices, great beer selection. Casual, but upscale atmosphere. Service is generally quick, but staff turnover seems a little high and some servers are better than others. A large pizza ($20-24) is almost perfect for two, with some occasional leftovers. Strongly recommend if youre looking for some good pizza and beer in the area!

Look, the pizza is good but its too expensive and too small for me to come back unless I have to. Do not get their Pinot Grigio, it tasted like straight vinegar. The cookie dough sundae was fine (how bad can cookie dough be at the end of the day?) but not enough ice cream for that perfect warm cookie to cold ice cream ratio.
