I just discovered Arlington Forest at Landmark and will never go anywhere else for my auto repair or car shopping needs. The owner is hands down the most knowledgeable professional, and he leverages an incredible network of resources. My repairs were done right the first time, and at a most competitive price. Ive lived in the area for over 60 years and have never seen or experienced anything like Arlington Forest. Well done!

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! Bill and his team are the most caring and most generous team around. They always look to take care of the customer. Bill consistently goes way out of his way and goes above and beyond to make sure things are taken care of. My family has been going here for years, even before my brother and I could drive. Now, we all go and have spread the word to friends and neighbors. I know very little about cars but Bill treats us with respect and tries to make sure we understand any issues with the car fully before making a decision. No matter what, I always go to Bill and I only trust him and his team!

They kept my Ford running until it was 20 years old, then when it was time to retire it, they gave me the scrap metal price (trust me, Im surprised they offered THAT much), and put it towards a newer Volkswagon. The price for the newer car was literally a quarter of what other places charged for the exact same used car. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Im surprised to read the criticisms of Arlington Forest Services Center. Bill Bryden and the mechanics who work with him have helped us many times, and they are the only mechanics we trust. We have an old Saab, and Bills prices were much more reasonable than what we had been paying. He always offered to repair parts, or buy used ones, to save us money. In fact, we were told by the place we used for years that it would cost us $5,000 to make a bunch of repairs and recommended that we sign the car over to the owner who could donate the car. Bill towed the car, replaced the broken water pump for a fraction of the cost, and the car has been running for more than a year. We stopped by one weekend with a short in our brake lights, and the mechanic stopped what he was doing to fix it. Most mechanics would have recommended replacing the electrical system. I would rate them five star on service, honesty and price.

I was a good customer of Arlington Forest and knew Bill (Owner) and Rob my favorite mechanic for over ten years. Actually they are all very good guys, even Gordon who seems to never want to talk to me, lol. However, I recently changed my primary auto mechanic to another company, because Bill is simply over stressed all the time and losing control of his high demand business. What that company needs is for Bill to let someone else manage the daily shop business and take it into the digital age. Bill could relax and just oversee operations from afar, but I do not think he is willing to do that....unfortunate given the fact his company will become a dinosaur if they do not start using newer computers and programs to help them go completely digital and easily manage their HR, Accounting, Payroll, Sales, Services, Marketing, etc. etc... If Bill and Arlington Forest Service Center do not get help with managing that shop and join the digital age, then it is only a matter of short time before they go out of business or get bought out.

I just was hung up on by the Owner of Arlington Forest Services, Bill Brydon! I was stranded with my car on the Washington, D.C. Beltway (I495). Before I could explain the situation, which was extremely dangerous as there were 4 lanes of high speed vehicles passing by at all times and the heat was intolerable. I only stated that their facility had worked on my vehicle, which was picked up from his shop only one week ago and I was now stranded. He did not want to know anything about the vehicle before he shouted that it was not stranded due to any work his shop performed; then HUNG UP ON ME! I tried calling back, and he would NOT ANSWER MY CALL! This shop is as UNPROFESSIONAL as it could be. The owner, had no concern for my safety. The Owner would not take responsibility for work they did on my vehicle and did not want to know why or how my vehicle broke down. I WILL NEVER CALL THIS REPAIR SHOP AGAIN. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO ARLINGTON FOREST SERVICE CENTER! THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE AFTER YOU HAVE PAID FOR SERVICE DONE. THIS AUTO REPAIR SHOP DOES NOT TAKE OWNERSHIP OF WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE. THE OWNER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT REPEAT BUSINESS, ESPECIALLY IF IT MIGHT HAVE TO DO WITH THEIR FAULTY REPAIR OF YOUR VEHICLE. ON A SCALE OF -10 TO +10 FOR COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE, I RATE THEM A NEGATIVE 10! THIS IS THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH THAT WAS THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, AND DISCOURTEOUS.

DISHONESTY is what you fear in a mechanic because you dont necessarily know the remedy, and you put your trust in them to provide that. I won’t dispute that they were definitely personable guys.My power steering was shot, and with a straight face I received a winded explanation of how i would need a whole new unit and 5 hours of labor totaling $2,300 for a new unit.

Beyond shocked at the treatment. Was referred to this repair shop and was told that our car wasnt worth fixing without them even offering a written estimate. Then told to get the car off our property or it will go to the impound lot. Not sure who Bill is, but he clearly skipped customer service skills class, or is in badly need of a permanent vacation.

I have been working with Bill for over 30 years and have bought every single one of my cars from him with the exception of one. He is as honest as the day is long and I would recommend anyone looking for a good car.
