Catalytic converter stolen off Prius while parked at Kaesman Presbyterian. Had it towed to nearest place that was still open as got out of work late. Quan was very kind and had it fixed up in a couple days, including a cracked serpentine belt and the sensors lost with the cat and got me back on the road for about $1200, I called Larry h Miller and it wouldve been almost $4000.

They seem great and fast, just dont go, they arent worth it.

I called them before I went there. I told the problem and the owner told me to drive in and told me the diagnosis would cost $90. When I was there, one the technician asked me about the issue, and he asked me if I could wait for 45 min and diagnosis cost will be $90. It is consistent with what the owner told mebefore. However, the owner took over and told me the diagnosis will be from $150 to 300, and it will take about 2 to 3 days to finish. It is really unprofessional and the charge is randomly set. I decided not to do repair. BTW, although the name of shop has the Tokyo, there is nothing related to Japan. Be care when you deal with this kind of unprofessional practices.

We were in town from Oklahoma City visiting family when our Oddessey broke down. Not only did they fit us in to their schedule, they had us back in the road in one day! Replaced alternator, belt and ps pump in record time, even cleaned fuel injectors. All for a very reasonable price! Best crew i have come across. Thanks Super 6! You guys are the best.

I used to have good experiences, but theyve gone down hill.Scheduled to drop my truck off, they said itd be two hours. Called back after 5 hours, they changed it to 3 days because they were so busy. Good thing I called the day before to schedule it.And then I picked it up, paid $700, and when I started the truck the engine was still knocking. Somehow they didnt hear that?They looked at it again and said it needed a new engine for $5k. The truck isnt worth that much, and why did I just pay $700 for work if the engine is going to go?I got them to take $200 off the work done after much arguing. Took my truck to another mechanic, turned out the engine only needed a tensioner for the timing belt replaced. Cost me $500 instead of Super 6 Tokyos $5k. They also had to replace a disintegrated gasket that Tokyo had just put in doing the $700 of work.

They tried hard to work on my PORSCHE window but could not get it fixed here after all. They told me to take it to the dealership for that. I did not have to pay anything to get it checked out. The reason they still get FIVE STARS is not just because I did not pay, but because of everyone who helped me were nice, polite, very amiable and professional.They even let me borrow a vehicle..while they diagnosed my car ..(Not the best loaner I ever had but it took me to work and back when my car was ready for being picked up.)

Put it this way, If a business opens at 6:30am in Albuquerque that’s not a breakfast place that’s a first sign of a place you know they’re serious about work.With that said, I was very impressed with this place. Quan was very specific and direct with his time and expectant wait. We have an older Honda and he asked if it was okay if he could like at it for 2-3 days. We took it to several other places and they couldn’t figure out what the problem was.Someone called me at 9am the next morning to tell me I could come and pick up my car. I couldn’t believe it because my experience with mechanics here have been not so good.The car is running better than ever and no sign of that problem any more.They’re truly experts when it comes to Asian vehicles.

I had a lot of work to be done on my 99 4Runner, Bihn was very quick on getting my issues resolved and took the time to show me what was replaced. They called to check in when I needed an oil change a couple more things I couldnt afford the first go around. Great service from start to finish.

These guys come through for me time and time again. I dont go to mechanics often but when I do its Super 6. Quan and his mechanics arent there to pull the wool over your eyes. This is the best mechanic shop in town so far, they back up their work and even offer a car for you to drive if your vehicle is taking longer to repair than expected!! Mr.Quan is s UK per friendly and attentive, he will always offer you a drink and ask if theres anything else you need. Do you need a ride home while your car is being repaired? Sure! .... thats the level of service youll be receiving here. Almost too good to be true considering how DIFFICULT it is to find an honest mechanic shop, but be sure that they will explain exactly whats wrong with your vehicle and show you the parts replaced or what not. Full disclosure! I havent been to a mechanic shop like this... ever actually. Im not getting paid for this review, this is an honest review and Ill change it quickly if things change but I dont see how with their labor & parts guaranteed... I just believe everyone deserves good service like this, specially if you arent car savvy, you can rest assured that they will leave your vehicle running like new! 👌🏼

I was overcharged for unnecessary services that I didnt request and I refused. They use scare tactics to add more unnecessary services and repairs! Do not ever go there! They werent like this in all almost 10 years that they repaired my car! Very sad and so disappointing!

Job was completed in two days.Update:Super 6 Tokyo has been doing work on my 1990 F-250, including regular maintenance and electrical, and air conditioning system replacement. I love these folks!

Theres so many positives about Super 6 Tokyo Motors they deserve 10 stars. I had an unfortunate suspension break on my old truck at the laundromat and a customer witnessed the carnage and came out and immediately recommended this service shop. As I was new in town I had no other ideas, I had the tow truck driver take it there. I was greeted with a smile and a handshake and empathy for my situation and a promise to call on Monday with an estimate. The customer area was clean and cozy and the people in the office extremely friendly. The fridge with drinks for the customer was plastered with thank you notes, Christmas cards and humane society and prevention for cruelty to animals stickers. This gave me a good feeling. They called Monday as promised with the heavy estimate and the work was scheduled. Later they had to give me more bad news and a higher estimate. I went to the shop and was introduced to my mechanic Mark who went over in detail the repairs and further issues. I couldnt afford the extra repairs which were explained and was shown that problem but was told Id be ok for a little while without. Amazing empathetic mechanic, amazing friendly service and just a fantastic experience. No doubt Ill return for the extra work and anything ever needed. Thanks to Super 6 Im driving again. You guys are truly the best Ive ever seen and an example all humanity should ascribe to.

When mechanics recommend work to a vehicle, in most cases its because the mechanic has noticed a potential issue that needs resolved. I dont think the average person understands just how many things need to be fixed or replaced on automobiles. Remember, a big bill isnt a mechanics fault, they are just trying to help you not die on the highwayGreat shop, honest employees, quick service. I have been taking my vehicle to Super Tokyo 6 for approx. 3 years. Quahn is a kind man with a big heart. Unfortunately, I will not be back. I had taken my vehicle in for a repair and asked them to please locate and fix noise that had developed. Upon my arrival to pick up my vehicle, I was told that they could hear the noise but was not able to find the cause. I was told that the noise was most likely my transmission and will need to be replaced. I was quoted $2,621.47 7-10 days to get the parts in. After some thought, I decided to take my vehicle to the same place that had originally put the engine into my vehicle. 10 minutes (10 seconds to diagnose and approx. 9 minutes to get the part of the shelf and install it) and $40 later (labor included) it was fixed! I truly fell like I have been taken advantage of over the past 3 years of service with Super Tokyo. I have had to take my vehicle back multiple times on every repair they have performed. SIX times for a lock repair which is still not working properly. I got sick of taking it back and just decided to make it work. TWICE for a/c repair, TWICE for heater repair. After paying for the heater repair, I was able to deduct that the a/c and heater problem were one in the same. It was a vacuum switch that was bad. They told me I needed new compressors (rear and front). They told me I needed a new water valve for the heater. I PAID FOR UNNECESSARY REPAIRS. TWICE for pump replacement. It is obvious now that they never diagnosed any of my vehicles problems correctly the first time .They would charge me to rotate my tires and then tell me that they did not have a machine big enough to balance them. They have lost some of my interior finishing screws and replaced them with ugly roofing screws. I was willing to over look all of this because I think Quahn really means well and I do believe he does care. However, after the last $2,600 misdiagnoses, I will not be returning to Super Tokyo anytime soon and will inform all the people I have sent their way to find another mechanic to work on their vehicles as I can no longer trust that my friends and family will not be taken advantage of. I probably should have made this move after the fist repair.I do wish all at Super Tokyo the best.

I dont know how this place doesnt have a full five star rating! Best service in New Mexico! Great prices and the staff is unmatched!!!! My father-in-law recommended this place to me 10 years ago because he had been going there pretty much since they opened. I think we are all skeptical about mechanics, and I was too. But the first repair I had done with the timing belt on a Toyota Camry. They finished in a very timely matter, beat everyones price, and did not try to sell me things I did not need. Since then I have taken my vehicle nowhere else.

Shop is quick with services but that being said they are unreliable I paid for install on new high-flow cats and they only installed one I found the other under my seat and also sloppy left a huge mess of coolant in my engine bay, THEY lost a customer after I get my refund back tomorrow morning SMH!!

Took my car there because I knew someone who recommended them and wanted to further the recommendation. Great place to bring your car. Know that they do a very good job and wont mess anything up. Fair prices for super solid work. On some occasions they can offer you a car to drive if they have to keep your car for a day or two. Definitely worth it and very trustworthy.

Whoever drives a maroon car (female I think) with your company info on the side of it is making your company look bad. Almost running red lights from a stop and pulling up far past the crosswalks not being able to wait for green lights, swerving, hitting brakes for no reason, all while talking on the phone, I would not go to your business after seeing it presented to me like that.

Never go to this shop!!! Took my WRX here for a head gasket job and almost 3 weeks later I had to tow my Wrx from their shop to my house to finish the repair. The guys here put my MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow) backwards and more and tried keeping my old reusable parts. They will try to rip you off at every turn!!!

Paid $1600 for the front suspension to be fixed got my truck back and its still not fixed right steering wheel isnt straight and pulls to one side was told they cant fix it bcuz my tires are to big its a tahoe come on now!!! Will not recommend this place to anyone!! Highway robbery!

Quaity of work has gone downhill fast at this shop.Took my car in for a alternator and when I got it back stabilizer bar was broken hanging underneath car and passenger side cv boot was torn, mechanic said it was like that when I brought it in. I think I wouldve noticed my car leaning to side when I took it in now I need a entire cv axle.

3uzfe (Toyota/lexus v8) Complete timing belt kit change (water pump bearings tensioner seals belt etc) . I do most of my own car maintenance and repair work so I am aware of parts cost and labor required to do most things. They have competitive shop labor rates and also allow you to bring in your own parts (saves you money by buying quality parts yourself instead of marked up generic autozone style crap that most average shops force you to use) . They also will give you a loaner vehicle if you need one for free. (its a beater but its free so cant complain). Their customer service was good, gave me a no bs estimate and stuck to it, that being said make sure to get a total out the door price if youre comparison shopping (to account for taxes and shop fees). I have used a competitor in the past that specializes in Toyota vehicles and is competent and costs the same labor wise. I decided to use these guys because theyre open late and on Saturdays which is much more convenient for me.So why three stars? Got my car back sat afternoon and spoke to the mechanic who did the work, said no problems where encountered and car ran fine. On the way home I noticed my A/C didnt work when its usually ice cold, looked under the hood and noticed compressor didnt kick on - turned out they didnt plug in one of the connections back in when they were reassembling. No biggie easy fix.... Also noticed one of the throttle body coolant bypass hoses did not have its clamp reinstalled which *could * potentially lead to coolant loss. Easy fix but seriously? Fixed these myself easily. Jump on the interstate and check engine light pops up... This is starting to get old.... code indicates bad maf sensor or vacum leak. Car had no issues the day before and just passed emissions so I knew this had something to do with my timing belt service. Took off air box and checked all vacum hoses and sensor plugs, sure enough one vacuum hose was not reconnected, missed during reassembly. Also noticed a few of my electrical socket connectors were roughed up and a bolt on the Timing cover was broken off. I did all this fixing myself Sunday morning because the shop was closed. I didnt not want to deal with taking time off or spending extra time after work for them to figure out what they should have caught in the first place ( work five days a week and have a toddler no time for playing mechanic tag) . Like I said their labor rates are good and they seem like a legitimate business and their front end staff was friendly and genuinely customer focused but their mechanic could use some more training and attention to detail. I think I will go back to the other less convenient but more reliable shop off of Jefferson for future big repair jobs or maintenance items. HINT Google Toyota mechanic near Jefferson and San Antonio :)

Worst place to go to. I needed a re-paint for my front bumper and back bumper. However, after paying for than a thousand dollars for the job, the paint chipped and peeled within a week after it was painted. Like any rational person, I took it back, and again, the owner and mechanics promised that this would get fixed. After 2 days, I went back to pick up my car and behold it looked fixed. Looks can be deceiving. As it turns out, the paint started chipping and peeling within two weeks of driving. Save your time and money.

Finally! A place I can trust that they will not do more than is needed or charge more and what is fair. They have earned my trust; I will not take my one year old car anywhere else from today on, especially the dealer--they have just lost a customer permanently.

In my opinion, Forget the Negative Haters, this place was totally cool. I regret not finding it before now (they wouldve been a godsend for my Eclipse GTS).The bottom line: They took excellent care in going over the pre-quote with me (a 20 min wait and they had my 2001 Hyundai Tiburon up in the air and exposed, he (Quan) actually pulled out the magnetic pointer and walked me through his pre-inspection/suggestions - Im a car guy and he nailed all the clues perfectly, no padded BS (windshield wipers excepted). They then hooked us up with a very decent Ford Focus 4-Door to get back-and-forth-to-work for Free (no fuss) - p.s. they didnt even ask about the gas level, but I recommend stepping up and covering your used mileage respectfully). Upon completion, Quan (without being asked) pulled out the parts he took off and walked us thru em. He also (holy sh!#) put his own dated signature on a Timing Belt changed on date xxx engine bay sticker.....thats awesome, think about it. And all this for $180 lower than my next best quote after shopping around. I cant promise that every carll be able to accept a miracle from them, but Ill be going back and recommending them to any of my friends with imports.......and that loaner car was SO nice for my wife to have (so call ahead).Score = 95 out of a 100!

Wow, what a rip off . I took my truck for a check engine light, and after about a year of taking it back again and again for the same problem (about $3000.- in charges) . Now the new parts were failing and they wanted to charge me to replace those too, and check engine light still comes on.

Took my vehicle in 3 years ago for my catalytic converters to be replaced.I found out today because my truck broke down again after 3 years that they had installed the cheapest brand and had charged me a fortune for them plus to install them.And my vehicle only was driven 25,000 miles during that time period.The truck was repaired with 2 catalytic converters at that time.They both collapsed and went into the 3rd catalytic converter and clogged that one up.Now Im out $2,300 beware of these people.
