Mike at American Diesel service was very helpful in acquiring a tow for my f250 that blew a radiator, he replaced the necessary parts with Motorcraft replacements checked the entire cooling system, finished the work very timely and got me back on the road to California the next morning. Fair and competitive pricing for quality work.

These guys are the best of the best. Theyve been taking care of my 2007 Dodge 3500 6.7 for close to 300,000 miles now, and they understand these trucks like no other shop. Ive made the mistake of going elsewhere (usually when on a road trip far away, of course!) and I generally have to take the truck back to Matt and Mike to fix whatever someone else tried to fix. Reasonable, reliable, and they stand behind their work - Ive never less the place less than completely satisfied. Do yourself a favor and keep your truck running forever with these guys - with the price that Dodge wants for a new one, I know Ill be driving this one for a long time!

These guys couldnt even diagnose two bad injectors on a 7.3 and still charge me 200 and some odd dollars for what I dont know... I purchase a scanner and figure it out myself and replace injectors myself.

I must say that this is probably one of the most honest mechanics Ive ever been had my trucks serviced at. One of my trucks had a bad injector and thermostat. I took it to them and they found that I had a bad cylinder. They easily couldve charged me to do the injector and thermostat as a bandaid fix and down the road the engine wouldve given out on me. They recommended that the truck wasnt even worth fixing at that rate. Thanks Mike and team for your honesty and saving me time and money. I highly recommend them.

Ive used American Diesel twice. Once a few years back when they fixed my under valve cover wiring harness connector and just recently what I thought was a top side oil leak. Turned out to be a fuel filter bowl leaking. Both times they had me in and out and back on the road the same day and all for less than I would spend on a trip to Costco! These guys are the best, and I wont go anywhere else.

These guys are just good people. Truck broke down north of abq on my way to an elk hunt in southern NM. They let me keep my trailer locked securely in the shop overnight, and started working on my truck first thing in the AM to get me back on the road. They did a great job troubleshooting to find and repair the problem and busted their but trying to get me back on the road. When it became apparent it just wasn’t possible to get me up and running before they closed for the weekend, they let me borrow one of their trucks so we could get down to start our hunt. Like I said, good people. Thanks guys for all your hard work and kindness!!!

Probably the best diesel and auto mechanics in ABQ. Fair, honest and highly skilled mechanics. If they cant fix your problem vehicle, nobody can.

I found this place based on reviews --and the reviews are right on. Five stars is appropriate. Initially I had a mechanic that said he knew diesels and 7 years later, I learned he didnt. His lack of knowledge cost me over 4K. Then I had a breakdown outside of Phoenix, and basically got robbed 6K (by the time I had everything reversed that he did). I went to American Diesel and they were honest, gave me options, explained things in a way that I understood, and lived up to what they said. I have been there multiple times since. As a woman, with no mechanical knowledge, with an expensive truck .. I am a sitting target. I trust these guys 100%.

The guys at American Diesel Service are great! We had what we thought was a Turbo issue in our F350 and needed to have it checked out quickly. Found American Diesel Service on a Ford discussion board with some great comments. Got to their shop first thing in the morning and they ran diagnostics to find out we had a fan blower that was out. Less than two hours later we were back on the road to SLC, Utah. These guys were helpful and honest and really know their stuff.

I took my truck to them to redo my complete front suspension and specifically requested all MOOG parts. They did the work and I got the truck back. Drove the truck for 11 months and the front suspension felt loose, took it back under warranty and they said that the parts purchased were the lowest end components they could possibly put on there in order to save money, this was not conveyed to me at the time of purchase. They did replace the parts and this time they told me that they put OEM parts on. I still had to pay for another alignment but they replaced the parts. I left and a couple days later noticed it feeling loose again on the drivers side. Got down to look and the shock was not bolted to the shock mount, the bolt was completely gone, then i noticed that my skid plates were no longer on my truck either and neither were the hardware to mount them. I refuse to take my truck back to them, they cant even put the parts back on the truck correctly, they charge you for more expensive parts than what they actually put on your truck. They are scam artists just trying to get money out of you any way they can. If you value the safety of you and your family do not trust them with your vehicle!

In response to Andrew Satterfields review, We did install A/C Delco parts on the truck, as weve had good success with those components, they are not the cheapest we could find and I dont recall ever being asked to use Moog. Yes the parts we installed had wear prematurely and we got help from A/C Delco to provide us with the best replacement parts in their line, and we performed the labor for no charge. Your vehicle came to us without a skid plate, which we assumed you knew as the vehicle is also missing the inner fender panels and multiple other components that have been removed or modified by you and/or a previous owner. The vehicle has 284k miles on it and its no cream puff. We did not need to touch the shocks to perform the work we did and we do have history of installing other missing suspension bolts form your truck in the past. A simple phone call to us would have probably been the way to discuss this and Im happy to do so anytime in the future if you so choose. Yes some parts fail, that is out of our control, but we do the best we can to provide valuable service to our customers.

Went here solely based on a previous review of out of towners traveling through and having a great experience- couldnt agree more! 5 hours into our move cross country we ran into vehicle troubles and were stranded on a Sunday afternoon. Called first thing Monday morning and they got us right in. Very knowledgable which was a huge relief and also just kind of seemed like how you wish places were these days, they understood the predicament of being stranded and cared. Had an estimate within a half hour and had us back on the road by lunch. They even gave us a this will get you back on the road estimate and a long term what to do, again, rare these days. Thanks to our lemon truck, we broke down again 30 minutes later with a different problem. Went back, they let not only us but our dogs hang out while they waited on a part. Again, back on the road very quickly. We made it to destination this time! So grateful that places and people like this still exist in the repair industry, forever grateful for Mike and his crew for getting us to our new home safely.

My 2002 Ford F450 diesel was missing and would hardly move I took it by heavy hitters on Comanche they diagnosed it as fuel injector failure, he said he’d get me a quote in the email I waited and never got it, then I took it to American diesel on Morris they diagnosed it as a wiring harness to the injectors,They fixed it for under $500 where heavy hitters was going to ask probably $3000 or more to replace all the injectors, my point is American Diesel took the extra time to diagnose it correctly the first time.
