Completely disappointing!! Called on a Thursday to get an appointment for a consultation. I spoke to the receptionist and she told me that I could come in anytime that weekend and talk to someone. My wife and I went in on Sunday; All of the artists were there but were all tattooing other people and could not speak at that time. We live about 30 minutes away so we asked if there was an ETA when they would be done. We figured we could go get a bite to eat or something and come back. The receptionist would not even ask the artist when they would be done. What is the point of having a receptionist if she cannot make appointments and doesnt know whats going on with the artists?

Called ahead and the receptionist was very polite and helpful. We were able to get in with Celina and she was AWESOME! She is so talented and our flowers turned out beautiful. I will be coming back to her again.

Best studio Ive visited, the reception area is gorgeous. After getting checked in we walked to the waiting room located behind reception area, which was immaculate, there was plenty of seats very spacious as well. The technicians did a great job of explaining every step and what they were doing.

It started with myself calling the shop for info. They answered the phone with a welcoming voice and explained and answered our questions with such patience. We got to the shop and was greeted with such friendliness! The shop was extremely and immaculately clean. Very nice lounge to wait. Wait was not long at all since we literally just walked in without an appointment. Kevin was very patient and step by step walked me through the process. He’s not heavy handed at all and I promise the pain was minimal and he’s very gentle. My son also got a tattoo by Rich and he was very prompt and patient with helping my son with his design. We were both in and out within 1 and a 1/2. We live out of town but I will definitely make the extra drive to come back to this shop. Seriously, everyone was so polite and held great conversation. If we could give you guys 10 stars we would! Can’t wait to come back for our next pieces.

I love this place... Its so clean and the artists do amazing work! Ive had Erica and Sierra do some work on me, and both are very talented and cool..... Poor Erica has the patience of a saint! My legs were jumping from Restless Leg Syndrome and she was so understanding.

My husband and I just left from there and Zach was amazing!! He is very detail oriented and did an AMAZING job on my husband and I! We are here on vacation and we are so happy we chose him (based on reviews and the suggestion from messaging the shop on Facebook). Next time we’re in town we will definitely be coming back to Zach! The shop is so clean and everyone we talked to was so nice and easy to carry on conversation with. Even fellow artist were coming in to see the progress and complimenting Zach on his work.

What couldnt I say about this amazing studio. Clean. Welcoming. The artist I go to for my work is Celina. Warmest friendliest people with so much knowledge and experience. I am a patron for life.

Robert was amazing! First tattoo ever was done today. He knew when I needed more conversation to ease my mind of the pain, he took his time and paid attention to detail. When I asked questions or asked him to add or change something he understood and was very helpful,polite, and considerate. The staff was also polite and accepted the fact that we had our son with us. It was an amazing experience and Id drive the distance just to get tatted by him again🙂

Really clean place! The staff is super friendly and really informative about all of their processes. They have little windows into each of the rooms so you can see in and watch the process if you came with friends or family! They super disinfect everything and take really good care of their equipment and their rooms! Next time were in Galveston, well definitely be back!

Got 2 tattoos by the artist (Sierra), And they made me feel super comfortable through the whole process and I had a good time! Sierra is such a good hang and not once was I bored wanting to go home 🤙🏻Both tattoos are about 2 months healed and they look fantastic. This is the cleanest and nicest shop I have ever been to in my years of being both pierced and tattooed. I came to Sierra with my unfinished half sleeve and she turned it into everything I wanted and more. My colors are super vibrant and the line work is incredible. Sierra is also very friendly and personable, it was never awkward sitting there. 10/10 tattoo artist. I don’t think I’ll ever go to anybody else and my dad will be going to Sierra for his next tattoo.

My sister and I showed up looking to get a tattoo. We showed up at 10:50 and waited for an artist to come to work. The shop opened at 11. You would think at least one will show up on time. At 11:30 an artist finally showed up but said he was booked all day. Then we waited another 20 minutes for another artist to show up. So waiting 2 hours was a huge waste of time for us!! Would not recommend this shop as a walk in. The people were clueless when artist were coming to work, or even tried to contact anyone. Save your money and go to The Tattoo Shop!!! Got in and out in under 30 minutes- no waiting!!

I had gotten a couple tattoos from CK before at a different shop. I would have to say that this parlor is by far the best place Ive ever gone to receive any art work done. I was very pleased with how friendly the entire staff was. CK is the most talented artist Ive seen to date in the Houston Metro area. I recommend him & his new CLEAN shop to anyone whos looking to get work done. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of work you receive. Cant wait to get more work done in the future!

I recently went into Von Striga and got a tattoo from Sierra. She was so relaxed, professional and easy to talk to. You could tell she was an artist and dedicated to her profession. The place was clean and accommodating. I was a little shaky and scared about getting a tattoo but she made sure to tattoo at my pace. I love my tattoo! It’s perfect. I will be going back to Sierra!

I had called to see if they had any openings for two tattoos because there was a car show going on and it was EXTREMELY busy otherwise we would have just stopped in but finding parking was practically impossible. But anyways when I called they said yeah come on in! We were like heck yes, so we parked 3 blocks away and walked, when we got there they told us we couldnt enter without a mask on.Thats cool if they want to make that a rule for their buisness to be open but i feel they should have reminded/ asked us to bring a mask so we could have either brought our masks or had the opportunity to decided not to go to that tattoo shop, which us ultimately what we decided, not to go. It was 100 degrees and HUMID.I dont hate this place just unfortunately had a bad first impression.

This place is great. You can get some quality ink done here. I highly recommend that you vet your artist to make sure he/she can do the type of work you are requesting.

I went to this tattoo shop and was surprised to see how clean and nice this place was. Most tattoo parlor I have been too look like some ones garage filled with cluttered walls. The staff here were super friendly and easy to talk to, they helped me immediately. Im super satisfied with my visit.

I went on my 18th birthday and then 7 days after in 2018. Sierra did both and they were awesome. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. They talked me through the tattoo and helped distract me from the pain with funny stories and just overall made me feel really comfortable. I would definitely come back. I also got to meet and talk to some of the other artists there and everyone has a super cool vibe and are so nice. I highly recommend going for your tattoos and piercings. I had a piercing done there and the guy was great, talked me through the whole thing.

Nice looking place.. Everyone is friendly. I had a tattoo done by Sierra who seemed really nice but she blew out my tat by pressing way too hard. I wont be using her again or coming back. It still hasnt healed obviously and its been almost a month. Ive never had an issue with any of my tats, until now.*Edited to respond*I was definitely there and theres nothing you can do for a tattoo blowout except to cover it or have it removed. I understand shes a new artist but that doesnt excuse the digging in someones skin the way she was.

Truly an art parlor. This is worth the drive from Houston. The quality of artist is superb. I had a piece done by Zach and I will put the work up against anyone in the area. If its art you want this is where to go. And your right, it isnt nyc. Thank goodness.

My wife and I had some work done and the guy who did them (Young baby faced guy with tattoos on his face) said if they are too light to come back and touch them up, No Problem! That is an absolute LIE!! We called several times but he was always busy then the last time we called the receptionist said it would be a couple months before they could get us in. I explained that I am a contractor and travel for my work and would be leaving the area in a couple weeks but that didnt mean anything to them. My review is while this is a top shelf shop they have at least one artist that is a real POS.

I recently went to VonStriga to get a tattoo with my brothers while I was visiting. I ended up with a younger artist named Sierra, and my god was she phenomenal. She was so professional and clean and not to mention her work was worth the time there. My brothers and I couldn’t be happier! Next time I’m in Texas I’ll definitely be seeing her for another!!

Everyone was amazing.. this is not your average tattoo parlor. Neat, clean with an inviting waiting area. BUT.... Bring cash else you get the 3dollars for each hundred you spend gouge ... which is ridiculous because you could spend $4 and pull 300 out of the ATM that is on premises but they dont tell you that until its too late. And just for the record, we will be going back again. Thats how good they are! But this time with cash!

5 out of 5 stars because they usually play Shrek 2 in the background. Ive gotten 4 tattoos from Seirra alone and planning more. They all came out really good. Clean lines, quality colors that stick, and even a cover up with no scaring. The entire staff pulls great work, and you can tell they have a passion for what they do. Shop overall is clean and welcoming.Sierra commissioned two decently sized pieces for me in about a 6 week time period this spring. One cover-up/addition of some sunflowers and a portrait-type piece. Both have healed pretty nicely in the last month and there hasnt been really any fallout or need for touchups, which is great. The ONLY temporary issue with healing was repeated use of saniderm after each session (rash/skin sensitivity), which was no fault of Sierras and ultimately had no lasting affect on the tattoos.She was very open to feedback (not arrogant, more than willing to modify her work to fit client vision) and was very fair about her pricing. With the tattoos that I got and the other work I have seen on her Instagram, I think shes in a really solid place as an artist and I am excited to see her continued growth in this industry.
