Great atmosphere and inviting environment the minute you walk through the door. Large selection of furniture and displayed with ample room to move around and have good views. Customer service was top notch with friendly and welcoming greeting.

The Slumberland experience was fine at the store. I ordered a couch/recliner set. I was charged twice for delivery because the recliner wasnt in stock, although we were informed that it was in stock. The recliner arrived in 2 pieces so the delivery people assembled it...it does not work. The chair itself has a misshapen arm. We are still waiting to hear from the Pierre, SD furniture store 😠

I contacted slumberland for a new Matress for after I get home from knee surgery. I talked with this employee fir 2 days. When I arrived I was of course in a wheel chair. He happened to be with another customer. He excused himself. Took me over to the Matress. Threw it on the floor from the standing position. Said to lay on it and see what I thought. 2 problems with that.IM IN A WHEELCHAIR FROM KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY. How’s that suppose to work.2).. I’m like older female. That should never have been expected.I understand the customer he was with probably had a $1000.00 bed they are looking at. That was really rude. Not a good customer service experience with Kevin What he should have said. I’m with a customer but one of the other salespeople will be more then happy to help you.When he threw it on the floor for me to try it there. That just ruined it.I can’t see myself going back there.All I hope is that the one who received my commission for that sale was not Kevin

Well slumberland didn’t have it either, BUT Jenny helped me finish something I liked better and also something I just had to have from the clearance area and after paying, arranging delivery I was in and out in 40 minutes. Established my budget with the worker. Tired to get me high end expensive. Found my price range without being shown where it was. After putting a deposit down I was told it would take 1-3 weeks and they would call me. No calls, I called the day before 3 weeks. It just came in, but that had already set a delivery date with out my knowledge. I was not told at time of deposit they only delivery on certain days to different locations. They do not work with your schedule. Thus having to find help to pick it up myself. After paying the remainder of the balance, there was no thank you for buying from us. Just sent back to the loading dock. While loading the mattress my helper heard them says a rude remark about using rope as tie downs. I am displeased with the whole process. It is important to be kind to everyone, you dont know what they have to deal with on a day-to-day basis. I wish it have gone better but I cant in good faith recommend this store to any one.

Everyone I go in they are very very helpful. You go in looking for something and you go out with better than what you were looking for. Prices are amazing and product is top notch and a long with their customer service they cant be beat and thats why I keep going back

Went to move my bed i bought 6 months ago and most of the screws they have in are stripped out. Parts of the frame are busted where they forgot to put on the support screws to begin with.

Amy greeted me in a professional and friendly manner as I entered Sumberland. This was my first experience at this store as I had just moved to Yankton. I needed a lamp for the bedroom and Amy explained that there was a special sale on and how that applied to lamps. She suggested I look through the store and later she found me to see if I had questions. I had several lamps in mind . I purchased my favorite . I would definitely give Amy a top score as well as the store having a great inventory with reasonable prices.

Had some certificates from Larrys Heating to use at Slumberland, and Rose was so helpful! After finding out what I was looking for, since I am from out of town she sent me pictures of a few things in stock, I brought a trailer, purchased the items, and they loaded them up for me. The experience was just as smooth as always. Lisa helped me a few years ago purchase some chairs, I couldnt find a fabric that I liked in store, and she said they will order a different fabric of my choice at no extra cost. Chairs came sooner than expected, and love them! Always have a good experience at Yankton Slumberland!

Today we visited the Yankton Slumberland, my husband and I are never certain on what we like. Lisa helped us and was so patient with us the whole time! She made our shopping experience great! We will definitely be shopping there again!

The ladies here are knowledgeable and helpful. I bought my kids beds (that my kids love) with their help.Id of given them 5 stars, but the beds delivery was pushed back 5 times extending the wait for delivery 2 months.Technically there have been delays with most freight deliveries due to covid, and the woman were apologetic about the whole thing, but my kids slept on the floor, so I docked the star.

My family wanted to buy set of bedroom furniture that was on clearance. The lady that was assisted us took all the papers with the prices. She comes back with new price more expensive than it previously said which included the drawers with a mirror. She comes back saying thats how much it is for the bed frame ONLY. That was horrible and rude to do. We remember seeing the drawers included in the price. She took more than 10 minutes to tell us the new price because we wanted the nightstand. She was trying to put the price higher than it was by A LOT! therefore, TERRIBLE RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We are not planning on coming back to this store in Yankton.

We came to slumberland after visiting unclaimed freight for a mattress. After unclaimed freight started us off with the most expensive mattresses, slumberland asked us where we wanted to start, high end, Medium, or least expensive. We started mid range and found a great mattress and had a friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable saleswoman. It was a great experience, we bought the mattress and now, I will shop at slumberland first before going to unclaimed freight. Prices and deals were better here also.
