Ive been really impressed with the feel of a family run repair shop and the professionalism of their staff from the front desk to the mechanics. Theyve been great for regular maintenance, state inspections and repairs. I strongly recommend them.

Gardner Automotive performed an oil and filter change, state inspection, and headlight bulb replacement for me. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours of my call. The work was done promptly. Overall, I am happy with my experience.

Gardner Automotive has been our fleet Mechanic for a few years now and they have always done a great job. My drivers have never complained about the workmanship of a recent repair. They are usually always able to help me manage the fleet with little notice and communicate clearly on what and when they are able to do something. The customer service is also very good and they all have an attitude geared towards helping their clients over helping their pockets.

My parents have been taking their Subaru here for a few years. Recently, my father passed away. So when just two days later the heater fan blew, I brought it here. As soon as I said his name, the office folks knew who he was and were extremely sweet. They fixed it quickly, within 1.5 hours including time to have part delivered. The best part was the cost was quite a bit lower than their estimate because it took less time than expected. Highly impressed.

I have been using Gardner Automotive for over six years. They have proven over and over again what an honest, first-class repair shop they are. They have repaired my brakes, exhaust, a.c, and starter among others. The front desk employees are very nice and the mechanics are top-notch. Prices are very reasonable. The waiting room is comfortable. They never try to sell you anything you dont need. I recently took my Corolla to the dealer for a recall. When the work was completed I was told that the front axle was gone and was given a written estimate of over $600 to fix it. I brought it to Gardner this morning and the mechanic assured me that the axle is fine. I really appreciate their honesty and will never go anywhere else. 12/17/19

I came in for an inspection and everything was quick and easy. They noticed the lights for my license plate was dead so they replaced it after asking me about it. I checked my dash cam footage and noticed one of the mechanics described me as a f*g, however its all just honest work. 4/5, definitely coming back next year for another inspection.

Honest reliable service.

Had over $500 worth of work done to front end. Car drove worse once I got it back and was never told what was wrong when it was given to me. When I brought it back was given a quote for more work. It may just be a coincidence so I understand that but it was more their attitude. They refused to acknowledge what I was saying, told me the car came in like that. It did not. Basically making me feel like I was lying to them. They could not have cared less that I was not happy. New customer is now a last time customer. Going back to my old garage. This place does not care about their customers only money. Nice bathroom for a garage but that is all. I want good car care not good coffee and a fancy bathroom.

I called and went in for an oil change chang. I told the manager before you take i off the lift, Id like to go in accompanied by a manager to see if theres any damage.. She said, Well see.. After a while, I was the it was ready read. I asked where it was. She said, Outside. I said, Wait a minute. You said youd let me look at it BEFORE YOU TOOK IT OFF THE LIFT.. She said Oh! Our insurance doesnt allow that.. A man there said, No garage does.. I said, Ive been to garages where as long as someones accompanied by an associate, its not a problem.. They said, If you dont like it, bring it somewhere else.. I said, Ill do EXACTLY that. I blew out of there furious. Strongly advise against them. They pull a fast one then tell customers after the fact. Never again.

When I brought my F150 into Gardener Automotive I had visited 3 auto repair shops prior of which was unable to determine the problem but Gardener Automotive was able to help me determine the problem right away and give me an honest quote! Friendly Staff!

I had my A/C Compressor replaced at Gardner Auto. They gave me a certain quote, but I asked they put in a serpentine belt too. The cost worked out to exactly the quote even with the new part. They were honest about finishing quicker than usual. Most shops charge by the job and if they are quicker it doesnt matter. I was very pleased.Also, I have been using Gardner Automotive to do pre-purchase mechanical inspections for private party cars I buy. They do a wonderful job diagnosing potential problems which helps with price negotiating.Great Mechanic!

I have dealt with many garages and they all were a nightmare until I found Gardner Automotive. It is a husband and wife family garage, wonderful people. If you have an emergency with your vehicle they get it in as soon as they can very professional, great people, friendly too. I became friends with Jeff, Julia and Maggie. The garage is as clean as my house. They will fix any problem!

I brought two cars with check engine to Gardners at the same time! My former garage couldnt diagnose my car so I decided to try a new place. Gardner found the problem and fixed it the same day - so we decided to drop my wifes car off here, when we picked mine up. We barely drove away before they called us to come back and said something was just unplugged, no charge on that one. What an honest place! My new garage.

Review is based on latest experiences and my opinions about the shop since Jim and Ellen gave the business over to their daughter (Julia). In my opinion, its definitely gone downhill fast. I think that Julia wants to do the right thing but does not know enough about the auto repair business to be running this shop properly. The service manager (Keith) seems to be of one mind: making a buck. The old-fashioned values of Jim Gardner are loooong gone... From what Ive seen, prices are now high and quality of work fair at best.... Unfortunately, times are tough and people need value for their dollars; my experience has not been such lately. I think that eventually most of Jim and Ellens customers are going to find another shop to use - I already did.

I went to change my tires at GARDNER AUTOMOTIVE and they scratch two of my rims, I complained to the owner and he insulted me by saying that I wanted the job for free. Each rim is about $600 from the dealer.I will never go back to this place, quality of work sucks and management is even worse.
