Spectacular! Drove 1 hr because I heard it was the good stuff. Worth the hour drive. Wonderful gentleman behind counter even threw in some bacon wrapped poppers!. Damn fine meat.

My all time favorite local butcher shop. The cuts are really good and thick. The staff is friendly and cuts exactly to your liking.

First time coming here and hearing about this place. We arrived when it opened on a Sunday and they had a good selection still available. Everything turned out perfect later. Not to over powering with seasonings or marinated to heavy. Will return in the future. Service was good. The gentleman I had was helpful and knowledgeable. They do have some sides also from marinated mushrooms to doubled bake potato’s.

Always great steak I travel 30 minutes for these passing 5 grocery stores and several other butchers because they are the best!

A must visit inside of the Plant Street Market building. They are a meat butcher and have a huge case of both meat and veggie / side options as well. The staff is always friendly, even greeted me at my most recent visit - which was before their opening hours - and offered to help me anyways. I was just passing through but it was incredibly thoughtful.The case is easy to see and all options look amazing and are super reasonably priced. I love getting things on our way out of the area so we can make them later. This area in general is a bit of a hike from our house, but when were here, we make it a point to stop in!!Overall: A+A must visit location within the Plant St. Market building. Amazing options and excellent staff.

Had never been to a butcher shop before, mostly bought my steaks at the grocery store so I was kinda lost. After talking with a bearded guy wearing an IH hat, who I apologize to for not catching hes name I went home with some beautiful prime ribeye stakes. He definitely knows hes stuff, with the tips he gave me stakes came out great! Will definitely be back real soon.

Ordered a prime roast and suffice to say, this would be my first time cooking one. Picked up a couple of days later and the presentation was perfect. Wrapped, cut off the bone and tied. Owner gave me some tips on cooking the prime rib. The customer service is superb and the cuts of meat are plenty.Highly recommend the Local Butcher and Market.Now, pay attention to the pictures.

The man who just sold me some steaks was demeaning and unfriendly. Made my girlfriend and I felt very unwelcomed and we are regulars/locals. I don’t mind splurging on some steaks but if I spend over $115 on 3 ribeyes then I at least expect respectful customer service.

This place doesn’t seem to value its customers.Wouldn’t accept pre orders for Xmas. Ended up making 4 trips when told truck arrived & it hadn’t. Got home to find less steaks than I ordered at counter.When paying close to $60lb for a cut of beef I’d expect much better service. It’s located in a busy trendy district so they get by just fine however we won’t return or recommend.

Called ahead to order four 8oz steaks for my husband’s birthday. They had it wrapped in their fridge with my name on it when I got there! Super happy with my customer service experience. The filets were outstanding!! I’ve never found really good steaks at local grocery stores and these were of restaurant quality. Also impressed with their prices! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a local butcher.

Awesome service, my husband went to fix a refrigeration unit and was impress with how clean they kept the place and the quality of the meat. We drive there from Winter Springs just to get their meat. All employees are great, Mike is awesome! If you want great cuts of meat go there.

The market is great the young man who waited on us was rude and not helpful. Like the market guess they dont know what customer service is.

This is our go to place for all things meat or grill related. Need sides? Check! Want a 4 pound New York strip? Check!! Honestly they have the best selection around. Their quality is amazing. And hey guess what they even have chocolate sea salt bacon candy bars!! The staff here is very nice and always willing to lend a recommendation!! Stop by See them and grab some meat, Grill it, eat it, rinse and repeat!!!

Just stopped by at 2:30 pm on Thursday. Sign says theyre open until 4:30 pm. Two dudes cutting the meat give me sketchy looks and say theyre closed. No love for this place.

Ive been by here a few times, and always had a great experience. The house-made sausages are delicious, and the guys behind the counter are always friendly and happy to talk. My wife got me a brisket (they stock Prime!) from here for Christmas, and after 16 hours under some sweet peach smoke, it changed my life forever. 6/5 will be back for more.

Fantastic meat and service. The staff is always willing to chat a little bit and can cut/order anything you need. Its our go-to spot to stock up for a date night in. Pick up a big ole USDA Prime ribeye, throw it on the smoker and reverse sear it. Hard to beat when you have top quality meats! Probably one of the only spots around you can get Snake River Farms meat as well.

No longer do I spend money for less than top quality meat and poultry at grocery stores. The meat and poultry products at the Local Butcher & Market are excellent. The sausages, both pork and chicken, are excellent. Are you a BLT fan? If yes, get their apple wood smoked bacon - it is awesome. Not into making your own hot wings? Think they are too unhealthy? Get their marinaded wings and bake them. Great taste and more healthy than fried. Have also tried a couple of the prepared sides - all were very good.

Super helpful staff, encouraging additional health measures. 10/10 Will buy here again.

Great cuts! My wife and I stop in here to pick up meats for any special occasion. My sister once bought me an assorted spread of meats as a birthday gift. Friendly and helpful staff. FRESH BONES FOR BONE BROTH!

When I go to the butcher I expect a great piece of meat and decent service, but when I went to this butcher I was helped by this young kid Grayson, who was truly amazing and made me the best sandwich I have ever tasted in my life. If I could give this place a 10/5 I definitely would and that Grayson deserves a huge raise.

If I could give them no stars I would. They were rude and seemed unhappy to have customers. While most of Winter Garden and the Plant Street Market seemed glad to be open for business these guys were rude. The guy that made my sandwich was miserable and muttered that I asked a stupid question straight to my face. Horrible service.

Went all the way there because I saw some posts on Instagram where they offer Chicken Kebobs. When I got there there weren’t any and they guy told me they don’t make them in regular basis so they don’t have it all the time, he said they make them pretty much whenever they have the time. Should’ve put that on the Instagram posts.

Just had the dry aged ribeye. So tender and flavorful! Thank you Mike for recommending this cut of meat. Loved it!!!! Big big!!!!

The meat selections are old and not properly temperature controlled. Buy and consume at your own risk. This is a poorly run butcher shop with contamination issues.

Everything Ive had from them has been fantastic. The marinated steak tips are a must try. The asparagus is always perfectly blanched and seasoned.Dont forget to try one of their awesome sandwiches.

I asked for the butcher’s recommendation before I made a purchase here, but the employee was very condescending. Actually, he was so rude that I just walked off. He would only give short one word answers. There would be no friendly conversation with that guy. 🙄

Great looking cuts of meat to cook at home. Definitely pass on the hot sandwiches, unless you want microwaved meat.
