Went in Saturday on a whim looking for a new bike. The staff here are EXCELLENT and really helpful. Nick gave me all the advice I needed based on the info I gave him, and I picked out a Specialized Aethos Comp. After letting me go on a test ride I was super into it and decided to buy. Dennis did all the adjustments to make sure the fit was good and Ive never left a store happier than I did this one. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

This past Saturday, I went on the trail for the first time and I wanted to rent a bike. The 2 guys at the rental area was so awesome. Really cool, friendly and polite guys. Their customer service and knowledge of bikes are top notch. I remember Steve being one of them and sorry, I dont remember the other guys name. But either way, renting from WG Wheel works is the way to go if youre just looking a day of riding.

I just picked up my new Cervelo P5. Everyone was incredibly helpful. It took time to get the parts im due to the pandemic, but it was worth the wait. The bike rides like a dream!

I am traveling fyom Virginia but damaged my rear derailleur hanger while riding in Charleston, SC. I was desparate to get it fixed during a two day stopover in Haines City, Fla. These guys had the hard to find parts and had me ready to ride in under two hours. They replaced my hanger, trued my wheel, and verified my derailleur alignment for $90. I will always give them my business when I am in town. Highest recomendations!

Couldnt recommend more. I have rented a bike for a triathlon here the past 2 years and have always had above and beyond customer service. They have used my bike fitting measurements to adjust their bike as close as possible to my measurements, swapped my seat with the rental one, and provided SPD pedals. Upon pick-up, theyre very prompt and kind and provide tons of advice on places to bike around the area, group rides that occur etc so you can get the most out of your rental while being safe.If customer service isnt enough, their location is perfect! Right next to the rental shop are two playgrounds that are well shaded by beautiful large trees; plus, the rental shop is right on a great trail for walking, running or of course biking.

I want to start by saying how professional and awesome this store is. After contacting 5 different stores this was the only one that answered me and helped me with everything. My wife and I recently purchased bikes from here. The service was outstanding from start to finish. No high pressure sales just good old fashioned great customer service. Please don’t be intimidated if your knowledge of riding is not at expert level. The Team here will walk you through everything.

Started out great with Jose, when I walked into the store. Helped me picked out my very first clip-on pedals, road bike shoes, chains and cassette for my bike. Did tell him that I was going to ride my bike over the weekend, he then said, we’ll make it work! Well, obviously that didn’t happened and was told that I was going to get my bike Tuesday. After the memorial weekend, called the store and spoke to Josh and said “Your bike will not be ready by next Tuesday the 8th.”Told josh, I need my bike today, coz’ I have already told my friends who’s driving all the way from Tampa, that I will have my bike so can go riding.Josh made it happened. I can tell he was not happy because he hanged up on me. Understandable. They store just opened up and here I am calling about my demands and frustration.Picked up my bike, then have to pay extra $ for the installation, mind you that it was already been paid. He went back in and ask the people in the back is to why I have to pay the extra. Came back and said, that whom ever helped me got the wrong cassette and put it a much more expensive one or the right one. And that they do apologize for I wasn’t notified.I am not waiting for another 10 or maybe 20 mins or so to changed the cassette for something that it wasn’t my fault. I don’t mind paying the extra $, what frustrates me is a simple communication and honesty would have make things better. I don’t think I’ve said anything to offend anybody at that store. I even told my friends who’s just starting out to get clip-on’s for his road bike and went there the next day to purchase.First and last visit at this store.

I ended up purchasing my 2020 Ford F150 from James and David at Sun State Ford. They negotiated the best deal for my new truck and trade in, without the games and headaches that alot of the other dealerships I had been dealing with while car shopping. I would definitely recommend taking a look.

Paid $70 for a repair and all I got was a cleaning. Tried to explain that the chain was doing the same thing as before but because I couldnt replicate it in front of them they refused to take it back in for another check up. The tech just kept saying that nothing will happen, I dont feel comfortable letting my girl ride the bike like this. Will never go back and now have to find and pay another bike shop.Update: The bike is working as expected and the job was verified by another shop. Only raised to 3 starts due to customer service. I wanted the piece of mind that nothing was missed and for my concerns to be properly heard, and that didnt happen. Unfortunately I dont know much about bicycles and rely on shops to make sure everything is safe.To the owner: unfortunately I can no longer trust your shop with the safety of my family. I prefer to pay another shop to verify your work. If nothing is found, I will update the review. You should know that I told your employee several times to keep the bike and let another set of eyes take a look. He seemed offended at that and would not hear me out. Wish you the best of luck in the future. Most of your clients seem pleased so you must be doing something right.

Dakota of Wheel works is a bicycle repair wizard and an amazing guy!! 15 years ago when I was living in Colorado, I brought a specialty mountain bike, which I crashed and broke parts. When I moved to Florida, the bike just sat in disrepair. Then I decided to use the bike as an exercise trainer and to play around the neighborhood. I told Dakota it was a budget rebuild and just wanted it to run. Almost every bike component was screwed up. OMG!!! 4 hours later, Dakota handed over a 15 year old that worked like new. The guy is a legitimate magician!!! I dont like recommending people because it sometimes bites me in the rear end. But Dakota is a mechanic I can wholeheartedly recommend.

I took my fulcrum rims for truing. who ever did the job did not use the right tools and broke several spokes. I took the rims to a different shop and they took 2 days to give them back to me. very poor service. a service that should have cost few bucks turned into an almost $200 project...

Very disappointed with this bike shop. We drove over a hour to check our bikes. We looked at several that were displayed outside. We walk up to a guy working the door. We asked if there were more bikes inside? He replied very expensive ones in a tone like we could not afford what he was displayed inside. Please don’t profile potential customers. Will never go back.

Great bike shop! I found a bike seat Id been looking for here, but from an online site, it was an older model. Im not local. So Chet was super friendly and helpful and not only sold it to me for the sale price, but shipped it to me, out of state! Love my new saddle! Thanks Chet!

What a great group of bike experts! They won me over as a customer when they fixed my daughter’s bicycle after two different bike shops said it could not be repaired and offered to sell me a new bike instead. I have now brought a 20 year old bike I received from a neighbor and my 13 year old bike, and they repaired and restored both to perfect working condition!

The staff are extremely helpful, and have extreme knowledge that they patiently share. Shana (sorry if I misspelled) was particularly helpful to my husband and I. At no point did we feel rushed, and she answered our 21 questions. We will be back!

Always a great bike shop and very courteous and knowledgeable staff ready to assist. My family has now purchased 3 bikes and a kids bike trailer from them and the sevice has been nothing short of excellent each time. New feature I learned of today was the saddle trial program. When looking for a new seat you can test run for a week for $30 to ensure you like it before spending $150 plus on a new one. I drive over 40 minutes to go here and every mile is worth it. They also rent bikes and trailers to use on the orange bike trail.

Horrible experience. Poorly organized response to current events. Lots of people standing outside in line in ridiculous heat for long periods of time with multiple store employees inside doing nothing with no sense or urgency. Then to top it off, the part their website STILL right now shows in stock is not there. I will not shop at this store again. Very disappointing.

I took my bike for derailler adjustment on May 5, 2020. They have a great process in place during the pandemic with a banner explaining the new process to make sure employees and patrons are safe. I went back in the same week to have work done on my 2nd bike and ended up buying coupling things from the store too. Again I noted an efficient process. The team in the service and in the store are knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely helpful. 👏👏👏👏It is a pleasure to shop there.

I was in the market for a brand new bike and this is the place I chose despite having at least a couple other bike stores that are just as close or closer. It did not disappoint! Wendy helped me pick out the perfect bike for my needs. Im so excited for my new bike to come!! Its in such a cute area, Ill be looking forward to spending more time around there when I bring my bike for maintenance.

I received the most exceptional service at Winter Garden Wheel Works. I needed an 18in tire replaced on my sons bike. Spoke with Tyler at WGWW and he said I can bring the bike in and pick up the next day since it was close to their closing time. I got to WGWW 5 minutes before 5:00 pm (scheduled to close) to drop the bike off. Instead of just taking the bike to work on the next day, Tyler replaced the tire and inner tube which caused him to finish 5 minutes after closing. All so that I wouldnt have to make a 2nd trip back. You rarely see this kind of customer service now a days so I was so extremely grateful to them.

Especially during COVID-19 where everyone and their brother was out riding their bikes (which is a healthy, great thing), I couldnt find any bike repair shop that would repair the bike tires on my pony cart (yes, a cart that is pulled by an actual Shetland pony). Not really a hard thing to do for a bike repair shop because the cart has bike tires on it, but apparently no one had any level of customer service or empathy for me as a customer to even entertain helping me, UNTIL I met Bobby of WGWWs service team. I told Bobby of my predicament and the fact the no other bike shop wanted to service the cart (needed new tires and lubrication; just general service) which keeps it operating safely for the benefit of my pony, not just me as the driver. So, Bobby checked it out and installed new tires and tubes and serviced the metal shaft, etc. and did everything he could possibly do to fix everything that it needed. Bobby (and Dakota) were awesome, patient, kind, courteous and super efficient and proficient at their jobs. Bobby did everything while I waited because I explained to him that I needed to use the cart the following week. The owners of WGWW should keep Bobby very happy because he is a gem in their store. Bobby is truly a professional and a very kind human being!! WGWW is lucky to have him as their employee, and we, as customers, are lucky that Bobby is there to help us! Way to go, WGWW!

We met Dennis then and have been going to WW since for all of our cycling needs. The service is great, the people are wonderful. Put me on a brief hold then waited around for more than a half-hour actually drove up to the place while still on hold before they hung up. Called back and they apologized.Told them Im probably about 30 seconds away Ive been on hold for so long now. Ill see you in just a minute. Figuring they must be busy.Walked in the door ask for help was told yeah give me a minute. Not busy at all. No phone ringing multiple staff and one other guy standing in the shop.Then proceeded to stand in the shop for another 15 minutes while they chatted with some guy about how he went to Colorado and rode a bike once.Came with cash in pocket to buy. Will not be back because of the terrible customer service, both on the phone and in the store.

I had a flat tire on my bike, I explained to one of the employees that I had All of our 4 bikes setted up two weeks ago for the season (almost $400) and had not used the bikes... They just replaced a tube no charge. I really appreciate that. Thank you so much.

Small but well-outfitted biking store on the W.O. Trail in Winter Garden. They are right in front of the fountain, which is a very convenient location. You can even stop by right in the middle of a bike ride, which I have done numerous times. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They also have group rides on weekends, which I havent tried, but I might someday. Apparently they leave in the mornings and only go as fast as the slowest person. Good selection of parts, bikes, accessories, etc. One of my regular stops on my Christmas shopping routes since my husband loves to bike!

Ive now bought 2 Felt Road Bikes from Dennis and his team, and they take amazing care of me when I come in to the shop whether its a month between visits or a year. They have recently moved to also include the Specialized brand of bikes, and they do rentals out of their stores both in Downtown Winter Garden as well as at Winter Garden Station down the road to the East if you just want to rent a bike for the day. You can always test ride a bike on the West Orange Trail if you are interested in purchasing one but arent quite sold, and they actually encourage it. Definitely check in with them if youre interested in cycling!

Ive been riding the West Orange Trail for a few years on my road bike and visit the team over at Wheel Works every time I pass by. You couldnt ask for a better bike shop. They offer great service, nice bikes, and a friendly smile to boot. They have gone above and beyond for me personally, Thanks!

My wife got her bike here a few months ago and she loves it! I already had a bike so I didnt have the pleasure to buy a bike here :( . I do buy everything else here thought. All the staff is really knowledgeable and they are super nice. I am pretty new to road biking so its pretty cool that Winter Garden Wheel Works offers classes to show you how to change a tire and other things that people may not know how to do if they are new like me. They usually always have group rides set up which is also pretty cool. All of their bike are reasonably priced and they have tons of bike merchandise there also. I will be buying my next bike here. Keep up the good work guys!

Bike freewheel was either broken or gunked up. Either way, I brought in the back wheel and they put on a new part in 60 seconds and it cost about 15 bucks. In and out the door in under 4 minutes. Great service, highly recommend

I’ve purchased two bikes (Specialized Rockhopper and Felt Versa 40) from Eric (sales) in as many months. The prices are compatible and some may say higher. My experience and value is being close to a bike shop for repairs, accessories, etc. Hard to beat the convenience of this if you do a lot of biking.Stop in and see Eric! He’ll set you right you with one, two or three wheels...whatever you need.

Great shop! I typically do tune ups myself because I find bike mechs dont frequently hit the sweet spot. However, Winter Garden Wheel Works...got..it..right!!! My Stumpy FSR hasnt ridden this well since I first put it on the trails!

Unique and specially located in the heart of Downtown Winter Garden, Wheel Works is a great shop for the bikers on the W.O. Trail to stop in for supplies or novices (like myself) who needed a repair on a beach cruiser. It has a huge selection of bikes and equiptment. Its not a place where youd buy your kids first bike. These bikes are meant for serious riders or indiscriminate spenders because they are pricey! The staff is BEYOND polite and all extremely knowledgeable about their product and passion.

Rented a bike this past week, was impressed with the service and products. Ended up buying a cycling shirt from the clearance rack and renting a bike for a few hours. The road rental bike had the nice feature of adjustable seat height without a wrench.Convenient awesome bike trail out front of the store - pretty flat 26 miles east to Apopka (the trail continues, but I only had 90 minutes that day) or 36 miles (some road) around Lake Minneola.

I have been thinking about trying an Elliptical bike for a long time. I went to a store closer to where I live, and took a test drive earlier today. The sales person was utterly unenthusiastic about her job. Maybe she was just having a bad day or not feeling well. She could not have seemed less interested in making a sale.Out of curiosity, I called the next closest dealer (WG Wheel Works) and spoke with Eric on the phone for a long time. He didnt act like he was in a hurry, although I know there must have been other customers. He answered my questions and even gave me more information than I was looking for. I found out I could rent the sub Eliptigo and give it a more thorough try. I had other plans for the day, but was so excited after talking to Eric that I changed my schedule. I rode the Eliptigo for at least and hour, probably longer and even got to find out if it fits in my car.When I went to the store, Eric was just as cheerful and informative as he was on the phone. He patiently answered all of my questions and went above and beyond. This store isnt nearly as convenient for me but worth the drive for the exceptional customer service. The foolish saleswoman at the other store could have made a sale today if she would have put forth any effort.A shout out to Chet also, because I was having trouble finding the bike rental, and he too was very friendly and helpful. As an added bonus, if you have never seen the bike trail in WG you must! It is beautiful!!This is the first online review I have ever written, but my experience was so positive, I felt I had to say something.

Had a flat tire on west orange trail--walked my bike over to their store-they had my tube replaced and my friend and I back on the trail within a few minutes--everyone very friendly--we will take their how to change a flat class on the first wed of feb.--great shop!

Wow! What a bad experience! I was looking to replace a few parts on my wife and childs bikes. Someone greeted me within 20 seconds of entering the door and directed me to the appropriate employee. That is where my headache began.This young employees first no-no was his constant need to talk over me while I was explaining the items I needed as if I were taking too much of his time. I then had a question I needed clarification on regarding spline drives-information I clearly had wrong but he chose not to clarify, choosing to discuss the chain-wheel when all he had to do was explain misunderstanding (redundant crack arms) resulting in an argument and his resistance to physically releasing the specific part we both had our hands on. As you can imagine, this was escalating quickly.Interestingly enough, another employee, older and closer to my age, overheard the conversation, intervened, and took five seconds to provide me with the information I was looking for.I dont know if the kid was having a bad day, or if he just doesnt have the needed patience (he was in the back working on bikes-not greeting) to work with customers, but it gave me enough of a picture to know that Orange Cycle will be my bike shop of choice in Orlando. Its a bit further away, but worlds better in customer service.

Horrible customer service. Tyler overinflated my bike tire when I went in for a repair and it exploded after I left the store. He then blamed it on the heat here in Florida which is even more ridiculous. Called and spoke with him twice and he refused to fix it and told me I had to re pay to fix his mistake. He told me that he inflated it to 100psi when after I read my tire and it says not to inflate more than 50-75. Even after I told him that he changed his answer and said he didn’t fill to 100 like he told me earlier he said he did 75 psi. This man is a liar. I will go out of my way to another bike shop before I ever go back to tho store. Very disappointed in their customer service

This past weekend my friends and I were visiting the Clermont area for a couple days of riding. I ran out of nutrition so after lunch we all rolled over to WGWW and as always the Shop was super! First we were greeted by Breeana (I hope I spelled her name right) she was awesome!! Her customer service was 100% and she had great product knowledge. She even told me where I could find dole whip (pineapple soft serve ice cream) within walking distance!! This town is always one of my favorite spots to visit and this shop is most certainly part of the reason I enjoy my visits to Winter Gsrden.Highly recommended!!
