I’ve had the opportunity to do business with more than one location & was super impressed with the customer service as most stores of this fashion tend to have superior behaving staff & this was the opposite. Great collection of both pistols & rifles that are very unique & some common, variety of suppressors & a range of cool portable safes (like Batman boxes). Concealed coarses & gunsmithing services are on point, too. A+ all round & next up is my son’s first duck gun

Every time you call the store and ask if they have something, they tell you yes it s in stock.. when you get there, they NEVER have the item and try to sell you some cheap junk instead. typical bait and switch with condescending not so bright staff.at least 5 instances ive had this happen now and they try and act like they never told you they had the itemhave to leave my review again for the 4th time now since yall keep removing it. 100% legitimate and its pretty sad yall have to delete reviews. I went in to pick up my NFA item after about 10 months of waiting and my 1st time ever walking into this place was quite awesome, I was actually greeted as I was walking in, there was so hyped up some arrogant person behind the counter, staff seemed very polite, helpful and willing to help. Wow ! coming from Orlando, you dont see much of that around here..... They also had a very good selection, a little bit of everything. They earned my business even if I have to drive about 30-35 minutes.

I first called them midday looking for a specific firearm to see if they had it in stock. Three other local shops didn’t have what I was looking for, but this place did. I walked in wearing a tie-dye shirt looking like a true hippy & sporting a tie-dye mask; they didn’t flinch one time. I’m not a hippy, hipster, millennial or anything like that; I just wear funny clothes sometimes to be a lil different. I own many firearms & believe in my 2a rights. Even though I was clad in pinks, neon greens & sky blue, these good folks took their time to answer some good questions I had about their product and made me feel at home in their shop. Also, I was in and out in under 20 minutes (world record firearm buying experience time for me). They had what I wanted & didn’t try to pressure me into something else unlike the three other shops I talked to today did. Thanks fellows, I’ll be back for sure!

I talked to Ben a Sales Person at the Winter Garden Store. He really showed that he cared about what I wanted in a Suppressor. He was very Honest on what he knew and the Stuff he did not know he found out what I wanted to know about the different Suppressors I was interested in. I was impressed on his Honesty and his caring about what I wanted.

Last time I try this place. If you as a salesman are talking to me how you leave me waiting to take on someone that came later and don’t even bother to ask me if is ok to cash that person. On top of that i stayed waiting and them he goes to the next person, come on. Unprofessional treatment to a customer. Many other places around that treat you as it should be.

I had a great experience buying my first rifle at The Armory Winter Garden. I was fortunate enough to work with Tim, who is extremely knowledgeable and approachable. Tim patiently answered all of my questions and showed me the many different options available to me.I ultimately ended up purchasing a Sig Sauer M400 and I couldnt be happier. The price was excellent, as was Tims customer service. Went there today for the first time. It was very pleasant and the staff was super friendly. Best customer service ever, Nolan over the phone very attentive and responsive to a hundred questions I had. definitely recommended here.

Told one person as you can see for the other reviews there is a 70$ ffl transfer fee stating it is the standard. They then charged a 40 ffl to another customer, the fee is actually 4.95$ for the background check and the rest is pure profit. Shoot Straight charges 25 for the exact same services. How can you use 2 different prices for the same service and state an industry standard when the other shops around you charge less. As stated the feds charge 4.95, thats what you pay per background check, the rest is all profit. The only other fees are the ones you are inflating.

Not sure if there was a change of staff. But they are horrible. I’ve called multiple times and they gave me the wrong information. I’ve bought a lot of my stuff here. And now they won’t sell you ammo unless you buy a gun from them. I will not be going back. And if someone asks about this place I will be honest. Over the 2 years I went. Horrible.

I went to The Armories to purchase a Ar and had one of the worst experiences I’ve yet to have at a firearm facility. Ask any questions and just expect for them to have a very nasty attitude. I found out after my experience from over 5 other people that they had similar experiences. They treat you as if you’re belittled and don’t have the funds to purchase anything. They make you feel as if you’re wasting their time and management if very unprofessional. I wouldn’t suggest spending money here what so ever.

The first time I shopped at the Winter Garden location was to purchase a small gun safe. That is when I became very impressed with the staff and the store layout. Based on that experience I purchase three handguns from them and am very happy with them.

I have special attachment to this organization. I have known one of the owners since he was barely out of diapers(Robbie). Robbies father and I worked together for more than 20 years and I watched Robbie grow into a very wonderful young man. Any and all of the employees have always been very respectful to me. I am very proud to know the people of The Armories.

I had a silencer shipped in, used the kiosk and paid the fee associated with waiting for my tax stamp, in fact, I’m still waiting, but the staff, including the owner, treated me and the process with total respect and support even though I didn’t buy the suppressor from them. Very pleased with my experience. I’m not a five star rating kind of person but the team here is top notch.

Really appreciate the team at the Winter Garden Location. Today I purchased my 2nd handgun from this location and both times they made it really easy. No pressure sales, and happy to answer all questions. I was originally looking for a specific hand gun, but Marvin said over the phone Come on in and let us take care of you, let us show you what we have and I ended up going with something different, entirely based off comfort. Went by today to support a local business after seeing the reviews. Walked in and the guy yelled at me to get out and wait outside. He said you can’t be in here wait outside. Sorry for coming in but you could have said sorry we have to many people in the store do you mind waiting out side or something like that. So yes I will be more then happy to go some where else.

Took a shotgun for repair for a SD pheasant trip planned a month later. Informed them of the scheduled trip at that time. Went to pick up gun and was informed gunsmith hadn’t looked at it. My hunting buddies and military veterans I served with won’t be referred to The Armories by me:(

When I walked in, there were 4 guys there working and before I left I had each of them ask me if there was any help I needed. Finally when I did need help the person who helped me was very knowledgeable patient and helpful. The store is well stocked and if you are looking to modify your firearm this would be the place to go to. They had a lot of items that you wont find at the other gun stores. Best part is they are reasonably priced.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me. Ive gone in probably 4 times asking pretty close to the same question about the same firearm. Each time Ive came in theyve been patient answered my questions and allowed me to be comfortable with my purchase. Their prices are very fair compared to other gun shops Ive been to and purchased at. They were okay. Very good prices but didn’t look out for the customer. It was my first purchase from them and it seemed like they wanted to just sell. I didn’t realize til to late. The gun is to small for my hands. Good attitudes but it just seems like they wanna sell and not help out the customers. Also I’m trying to hit one star and it keeps putting it higher.

Bought a pistol but when I got home saw the advertised price was much lower. Called Winter Garden and they were more than willing to make it right. Offered the difference but I just got ammo for the amount owed to me, plus the ammo came out to be more than the difference but they were not worried about it. Bought three guns and not a problem with service. Great customer service! Even if I find a gun a little cheaper, I’ll still by it there because of the great customer service. Prices are very comparable. Great job guys!

A no pressure store where they dont sell you on anything, they educate you, so you can make a qualified choice on a gun, ammo and/or accessories. Theres no rush and they welcome all the questions you have so you can make the right choice for you.

They were very friendly and were quick to make price adjustments to their advertised price for me, so I didnt have to go somewhere else. They also spent a good amount of time working with a 3rd party for me. I couldnt be happier!

Was told over the phone that they do NOT charge transfer fees to ship to another FFL. I verified no transfer fees over the phone. I Drove 45 mins to the store and tried to charge 70.00 and all I got was, ohh well, sorry for the inconvenience Never again will I go here...Edit: Industry standard? Thats a lie, checked with several other gun shops in the area and most were around 20 to 30.00, so dont listen to this. Do your homework shop around youll find better prices and better service

You are not ignored, and receive no attitude that Im sure all of us have experienced at other LGS. All questions are answered and advice is supplied when you ask. I purchased a gun and they were out of bullets.I asked how much they said about 10dollars. Next week I go pick up a gun and buy the bullets they said they cant print out a receipt and I get charged over $18 took him 30mins to register . My friend just bought the same bullets 10mins ago from them for $12. Beware if they dont want to give you receipt they will rip you off. Make sure you ask for pricing its never set they charge whatever they feel.

I love going to this gun shop. All the employees are very helpful no sales pressure. They understand buying a gun is a process not just a transaction. If they dont have a product in stock, they will get it for you.

Top notch experience! Ordered my gun over the phone and had it shipped out of state after seeing a picture posted on their Facebook page. Ryan answered all my questions about the firearm, explained everything Id receive with the firearm and the process of transferring the firearm out of state. Much better then B&H gun shop if you are driving from Orlando to B&H in Merritt Island go to the Armory they give police discounts better then B&H. I received an email around veterans day saying free gun cleaning on any firearm even if not purchased there, if you are a veteran of which I happen to be.anyways i was told there would be a charge but i would get a discount of i think it was ten percent off.any ways i brought my rifle back home and cleaned it myself. I have purchased two firearms from the armories recently and I now have a bad taste in my mouth, i do not think I will be doing business there any longer. Friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy, and great customer service.A year ago, I was looking for my first handgun, I visited a different store in the area first, where the salesperson tried to sell me everything from tiny 22 to a Judge. I researched one model, which the sales person had told me he’d give me a great deal on, only to find out it was known for having a lot of issues (which explains the “great” deal I was offered). Disgusted, I searched for a different store and found The Armories.They are now my go-to gun store in the area. When I first walked in and mentioned I was looking for my first handgun, they asked if I had a preference between semis or revolvers, I said semi, and revolvers were never mentioned again. Already this experience was different than other stores who had tried to sell me everything that goes bang.Over an hour, the guy proceeded to pull out numerous different semis for me to hold as we narrowed down the grip size and weight that felt most comfortable. Finally, I was left with two choices, a S&W with interchangeable grips to fine tune the size, and a P320 (which I ultimately chose). Never was the guy pushy, trying to sell me any thing in particular, and was clearly excited to be helping me.Three months later, I walked in to pick up ammo and the same guy who helped me purchase the 320 walks over and begins asking how it was working for me. That, right there, highlighted their quality of service to me.Earlier this week, I purchased a revolver, picked it up and took it to the range. However, I experienced a problem with it. The range guys said I should ship it back to the manufacturer, but I took back to the Armories. Their gun smith took a look at it, worked some magic, and returned it back to me, with no cost out of my pocket since I purchased the revolver from them.Their customer service is the kind that we only dream companies had now-a-days. Shopping there feels like sitting down with a bunch of friends and handling each other’s firearms. They are worth stopping by if you’re interested in firearms, even if you aren’t actively shopping for one.
