Just a professional through and through. I dont know cars very well but they talked me through everything, made sure I was aware of everything they were doing and made sure I had a decision in what they were doing. Would HIGHLY recommend.

I had a sudden radiator problem with my only vehicle in the middle of my vacation. Marshall was able to fix it right away and very affordably. ACME deserves their high ratings; I would definitely use them again.

The guys at the shop were all very friendly, and being new to town, we didn’t know anywhere else to go when our Jeep was leaking oil. They looked at it and told us it was the oil filter housing unit. They ordered the part on Thursday and said it would be in Wednesday and they would give me a call.I didn’t hear anything Wednesday, so I gave them a call and they said the part wasn’t in. So I called back Friday and they said the part was in and they were JUST ABOUT to call me. They were busy, so I would have to wait until Monday. Monday I take the Jeep back to them with a heavy oil leak and they said “oh I meant to call you, that was somebody else’s part that came in, not yours. I don’t know where yours is. We’ll call you.” I called back every couple days because they never called, until 3 weeks after I brought the Jeep in the first time, they called and said the part had actually come in a few days earlier, but the guy’s wife took the box home thinking it was something of hers. I bring the Jeep back, they tell me they’ll fix it that day. They didn’t fix it that day, but they did fix the housing unit the following day.I took the Jeep home and parked it in the garage. Next time I start it, I notices big oil puddle in the garage. So I took it back and they took a full day to investigate and find that the inner axle seal is leaking, but not to worry because they can order that part and have it the next day. They told me I can pick the jeep up so I can have it for the night. I jog over there on my lunch break and they have the Jeep 6 feet in the air because they are looking for the mechanic’s phone that they lost somewhere in the guts of my Jeep. So I wasn’t able to get my Jeep back. Had to jog back to work to be back on time.I bring my Jeep BACK in, and they tell me that “don’t you just have the worst luck? We ordered the wrong part!”That was the last I heard from them because I can’t deal with their incompetence any more. So my Jeep still leaks oil. Over four weeks later.

Marshall was a fantastic help. I would very much recommend ACME to anyone who needs a good team of mechanics. I cannot express my gratitude for their efforts and true professionalism. Excellent experience.

Never had anything but a great experience here. Great crew, awesome shop. Taken my truck to them multiple times and while it may seem like a rusty old junker to most, Marshall and Hunter always take top notch care of it and exceed my expectations. They are honest, friendly, and fair priced. I never wish for something to go wrong on the truck, but I always enjoy visiting ACME and drive away happy. I had a broken bolt on my alternator and it was fixed for $500, after I did not receive an estimate, like I asked for. My car broke down on the side of the highway on my way home from the shop so I got it towed back to the shop. I then could not get a hold of the shop, and when I finally did, they said they did not know what was wrong with it. I towed it to another shop and they gave me an estimate of $1000 to fix a fried computer, broken timing belt and multiple other problems that the car did not have prior to going to ACME auto. I do not recommend going to this shop because of their bad service and lack of knowledge on cars.

We had recently taken a vehicle here for repairs. After calling around and checking reviews online, we felt this was the best bet to find a honest and reliable mechanic to get the job done. Because my husband works during business hours on most days, I did most of the contact with the shop. I made the arrangements for the work to be done, and explained in detail the issues we were having with our vehicle, and what had recently been done for repairs. The vehicle was dropped off and work was done. During the time work was being done and completed I had kept in contact with one specific employee. I did ask a lot of questions (we have been ripped off, lied too, etc from many different mechanics in the past), I also made friendly conversation. I had even apologized if I was bothering him, and always thanked him for taking the time to answer my questions. The day after we picked up our vehicle and brought it home, it was acting up again (doing the same thing as before when we took it in) I called them back, the same employee answered the phone. I addressed him saying hello, his name and letting him know who I was, this is Christine, He asked me to hold because he was with another Customer, after agreeing, I then hear him whisper to another person Oh my god, please take this call, its the suburban people. I waited for another person to come on the line, to inform them that if they are going to talk about their customers, to at least ensure they cannot hear, and hung up. Ten minutes later I receive a call back from another employee asking me if I had called them...he then, trying to cover his tracks, said the other employee was talking about someone else. Doubtful. I would have had more respect, if he would have apologized and admitted their wrong doing. I will NEVER bring another vehicle to them again! We were currently in the market for a regular mechanic and we are the type of folks that do put the money in and repair our vehicles. Two of our vehicles have over 300K miles and still going!!! They just lost thousands of dollars of business from us! I will never recommend them to anyone!

1 star for being friendly.My car was making a strange noise that both myself & my partner noticed. The ACME mechanic test drove it, couldnt hear anything, and said it was fine. Took it to a different mechanic who thankfully could hear it and found that my wheel bearing needed to be replaced. Could have been a safety concern if it hadnt been fixed. Noise was gone after replacing.During my inspection, ACME did tell me that my rear brake pads needed to be replaced and quoted me $380. My partner thought that sounded high so I called back to see if that also included the rotors. It did not, and was quoted $100 more. Took my car to a reputable shop who replaced the rear brake pads & rotors for $338. I will not be returning after my experience.

Excellent service. Fair price. Anthony was a straight shooter. He gave a ballpark estimate and came in well below. That was much appreciated. He has a great crew working with him, one of whom is a technician that weve dealt with before elsewhere and stopped going there after he left because he was that good! Two thumbs up.

Marshall is the man! Very nice guy. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Goes above and beyond to make sure customers are taken care of first and foremost. Will be going to Acme from here on out for any major mechanic needs.

Anthony is the best! ACME has done several repairs on my Suburban, twice I have had it at the dealership and they recommended repairs, when ACME looked at it the repairs were not necessary or could be done at a later time. Anthony even gave me a ride home the last time I suddenly had no oil pressure and had to abandon my vehicle at his shop. His head mechanic Marshall has been doing work for may dad for a long time and is great, dependable and honest. Thank you ACME! You guys rock! Plus my kids love your shop dog and I love your record player.

Awesome experience. Dropped my car off at 8am with a bad intermittent vibration. It was done by lunch and had a new axle. Vibration gone. ACME is friendly and affordable. The garage is open to the office area, which is cool... feels more transparent and matches their honest, transparent vibe. Thumbs up.

I was interested in buying a vehicle in Whitefish. This would be an out of state purchase for me. Anthony and his team did a pre-purchase inspection that gave me the peace of mind to make a good purchase decision. The whole process went great and Anthony was very kind, helpful, and concerned about me making a good purchase. Even though I dont live in the area I would recommend them to anyone. It’s rare that you leave an Auto Repair shop feeling good, let alone grateful. Hunter and Marshall took my concerns seriously, didn’t mind my laundry list of internet theories for a difficult to diagnose issue and went above and beyond inspecting my vehicle for needed repairs that other mechanics missed. Additionally, they squeezed me into a tight schedule while I was visiting from out of town. They took the time to answer all my questions and were incredibly patient and kind - physically showing me the results of their work and the unexpected repairs I needed. I was expecting a larger bill, but they delivered in the fair price department as well. This will be my go-to shop, highly recommend!

Anthony and his team are straight shooters. A problem with my heater could have cost hundreds of dollars at another shop or dealership. After troubleshooting he found two loose wires and repair was nothing more than reconnecting them. Most other places would have replaced the entire unit. Honesty is priceless and insures loyalty.

My experience with this shop was great! I got my car looked at on Monday and two days later dropped my car off and got it back the same day. Very fast service and affordable.

Great place. Truck decided it want to be a barbecue more than a truck when I had to be in Bozeman for the class the next day. Got towed there at 9pm. 11Am the next morning I was on my way. Was able to help me out to get me on my way as soon as possible, excellent work and truck no longer wants to shoot flames. Price was great also. I I Highly recommend this place.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Anthony and his team. My car broke down in Glacier National Park and I had it towed to Acme based on the reviews I saw online. It was dropped off at 3am and I left a key in the dropbox. I called at 8am when they opened and explained to Anthony that I had a twelve hour drive that day I absolutely had to make. He bumped me to the front of the line, took the key Id left, and had the car fixed in a few hours. He even drove to pick me up from my Airbnb and took me back to the shop where my car was. He explained the work theyd done and why it was needed. The next day he texted me to make sure everything was working and the drive had gone well. The entire experience was very positive. I dont live in Whitefish, but if I did this is where Id come to have my car fixed.
