The woman overseeing self checkout is very rude. When I politely asked her how to look up/weigh produce, as I never did this before, she said “Can’t you see the number on the sticker??” As though I was bothering her. I mean, isn’t that what you’re there for lady?

A pretty good Stop & Shop! Plenty of parking, good selection, always clean. Tons of self checkout lanes too. Free EV charging!

New self checkout scales are completely miscalibrated, requires assistance 5+ times to check out. Also you cant use reusable bags now since they trip the scales, not very eco-friendly.

Thersesa at the Stop and Shop deli in Wayland is the nicest and friendliest person. Thersesa makes it fun to go and see her rather then shopping at any other market.

Very efficient pickup service by pre-ordering on line; multiple store staff have wrist mounted mini-tablets and directly fill orders as they come in. This makes for less people in the store which I found uncrowded at peak hours. Quick, easy, fairly safe shopping experience for such a large supermarket. Surprisingly, prices were reduced on items in all categories ( with Stop & Shop card ).

It was ok for a shopping trip ... not great selection on sale items though which was disappointing. The self checkout was frustrating. Said I needed assistance and then it took them forever to get the scanner to clear and work

Easy in out

Not sure what is going on with this stop & shop, but it is never busy. It has lots of good product. The deli is excellent. The meats and fish are terrific. The rest of the store has very good prices compared to Shaws and Sudbury farms and down right inexpensive prices compare to whole foods.Add in the cents off gas benefit and its a bargain all around.Give it a try. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Youre always well stocked with Gluten Free food and I hope that you will be able to deliver. I live only 1.5 miles away. I am very satisfied with the quality of the food.

I work here and it’s a good place to work. The people are nice and the food is good and cheaper then shopping at Whole Foods! There’s a restaurant called the local and it’s really good food and it’s nere Stop and Shop. So come here shop and if you’re looking for a job they are hiring people now and the pay is good. There’s a Citizens bank in the store!Good food and are low prices! Fresh food like fruit and veggies and meat and cheese and a salad bar and bananas are only 49 sense now that is a great deal! There’s fresh sushi made every day and it is amazing I give it a 100% and an A+! Fresh sandwiches made every day and my favorite is the classic Italian sandwiches it’s really good. If you don’t see a sandwich you want then we are happy to make you one. Fresh chickens and chicken tenders too.This store is very clean. Grab and Go is stoked every day.

I think the staff is mostly nice.some teenagers hover too much and some sigh too much when called for help. Your job is to help people kids! I know you may not like your job now but almost everybody has been in positions similar to yours while in highschool or college! Just do your best while you are there. Hopefully you get great jobs in your lives! But just dont be too lazy to help out as it is a customer facing job and most of the customers are already doing self checkouts, you literally have to help if they cant help themselves. Other than that I like stop and shop, especially when they give nice discounts so buy more sometimes and stock my pantry when they are on sale.

Awful. Dirty. Out of stocks too numerous to discuss. Not what i would expext from such an affluent area. Will not go in again.

Good meat and produce. Recently remodeled, so somewhat neat and clean. Store is expensive and they often run out of things I would normally shop there for. Many of the employees have been there for many years. Most employees are friendly and helpful except for the woman behind the customer service desk. Go figure...

6/19/20 Not too crowded, well stocked.

So much processed food and cashiers that dont greet you with a smile and ask if youve found everything you need... You would think a large chain would get these simple customer service tips... But no. Not yet. If they want to compete with the local options and they need to raise their game. CoolComon, develop your employees, teach them to smile at customers and look then in the eye. Obviously their parents didnt. Someone needs to.

The wayland location still consistently looks like the workers are still on strike. I had to switch locations. Ive been trying to go back out of convenience, but after my latest experience I wont go back. I called ahead to check if they had a specific cake. The representative was polite, said he would go check, and told me they had it in stock. I went out of my way to go get it, but arrived to find out they dont have it. Someone else checked the back for me, but she confirmed they dont have that cake. I called the representative back and he was apologetic, but told me he only asked someone else who said yes, and didnt actually check.

I was there around 7:30 this morning. After a small shopping I went to cash out. Unfortunately after scanning and getting ready to pay I realized I didnt get the buy one get one free, instead I was charged $5.99 for each detergent. I couldnt find anyone to help me with the customer self help scan registers, so I walked over to the one person it seemed was in the store (he was a cashier). I stood for a while waiting for the one cashier, but he never even looked my way, so I decided to go find someone else.I walked to the employee resting area, and I asked this older employee that was sitting there if he could help me. I told him theres no one down there at the customer scan registers to help. His response was theyll be there just wait for them. I said if no ones going to help me Im leaving. No response from him. I was about ready to just leave the groceries there until I walked back to the scanner and there was the young man that was the lone cashier. He had just fixed the problem and gave me the discount. I guess he just knew by looking at the order so far and by me standing there waiting for him; that something was wrong. If he had just looked my way and said Ill be right with you, I wouldnt have had to go and meet Mr. Answerman down the hall and get even more frustrated. You guys need to bring these guys up on customer service or lose all your customers

Depending on your commute, this may be right on your way home, as it is for me, and thats handy. I still havent gotten used to where to find everything, but theres a good wide variety of stuff.

I was here yesterday and will not be coming back. I Love the store, just the cashier management was terrible yesterday evening. The cashier was a young man named John, who seemed to know what he was doing and was very polite. He had an issue with a check, and the women who came over was very rude, and didnt know what she was doing! Im not sure of her name, but would love to find out.

The manager named Morenee with the Karen haircut is a rude person who shouldn’t have authority over anyone. I feel sorry for the people that suffer under her

I went into Stop&Shop in Wayland, MA. I needed English cucumbers. I noticed the store had some and it was 10 for $10.00. The cucumbers were rotten at both ends ... and the store was still selling them. It’s a shame.

Sunday June 2nd at 7:45 am, manager no where to be found. Only 1 register was open and long line .. ask crew about manager, I was told we just got here !!!

Standard Stop & Shop. Produce is hit or miss, and you need their rewards card to catch sales, but a good selection for quick stops.

I got stung by a bee.

I was at the Super Stop and Shop Wednesday night to pick up a few extra things in preparation for Christmas, and I saw a verbal fight between two employees. There was this hispanic-looking woman yelling at a teenage boy, clearly giving him a hard time. I dont believe that this woman contributes to a healthy work environment since shes causing so much commotion. Its also disturbing how she is unpleasant to the stores guests. Love the products, not certain employees.

We ordered lobsters to be steamed prior to pick up with a set time. We had to wait over 30 minutes for them to be ready. Then the cashier in the front did not want to be bothered ringing us up to a point of being rude.
