We like going here and picking up burritos and tacos that are made fresh in front of you. They have some tables to eat at if you want watch the excitement of the busy meat market and grocery store. We stop in and pick up fresh cooked meat, salsa, beans and rice to take home for a great meal with friends and family. We stopped in today to get everything we needed for an instant Mexican Thanksgiving.

The burritos and tacos were excellent. They have really good rice too.

Their meat dept, cooked food, and salsas are great. It does feel that they could go through there vegetables better for fruit flies and appearance to step it up a level.

This store stocks goods of high quality and nice prices. It remains to be my go-to shopping place for as long as they are still in business. I highly recommend the store, great owners and even greater staff.

They have the only things that I like to eat. Which is Browns beans theyre the best pinto beans I have ever eaten since I was a child. And theyre the only store. I know that carries them.

The La Mexicanita is a great Neighborhood Grocery Store that also carries a lot of specialty Mexican produce and products. The store is always well stocked. It carries a lot of great fresh produce and also fresh meat. Their butchers take your order and cut your meat to your preference. They do offer fresh food already prepared such as rice, barbacoa and more. it changes daily . It is always a very clean store and the people that work there are very helpful and very nice.

Its convenient and in the neighborhood, it fast, there prepared food is great. There elotes in a cup are great, there burritos, tortas and tacos are awesome and full of flavor. There prices for there food menu are reasonable, cant beat it in the area. We buy from here every week a few times a week, we love it. There homemade red & green salsas are great. I would recommend there food hands down, made by the order fresh for you. 😋👍👍

Fire tacos only a 1.25$ each with lots of other hot premade meals nice hidden taco spot got to try.

Food is great, but last time i went i ordered a tray of rice for a party. The rice was raw my invites didnt get any, luckly they understood.My mom made some very fast. I shouldve said yes when she offered to do it before i ordered the tray. I went to return the rice and they didnt even apologized or offer to give me another tray. Never will I be going back again. That use to be my place to go to for prepared food. They have lost a great customer ✌

Best tacos and elote on the north side of Waukegan. This small grocery store has consistently fresh meat and produce. Clean and well managed by the owners.

I love this place. The tortas are awesome, the tacos are spot on, and the tamales are the best Ive ever had. I could go on, the goat meat, carnitas, the salsas. Man, the mango Nada! I go here all the time. Staff is friendly, but often to the point. Which is no problem. :) Ive been shopping here for nearly 6 years. Love it!

Clean and organized Mexican grocery store. Also a very popular spot for tacos and such which used to be a lot better and cheaper.

I come here ALL THE TIME when I want tacos, tartas, or horchata. The Mexican food here is great and force the price you cant beat it. It also doubles as a grocery store where you can grab other goods. The atmosphere is welcoming. For me the tortas are the best thing to get, from the grill.

The meats are good and so is the fruits and many things. Beware though and always check expiration dates on milk products so as I recently bought a big bottle of yogurt, two days later I took a sip and it had a weird taste. So comes to my surprise that I expired 3/17/17 we are already on the 4/11/17 I bought it on 4/9/17.Cuidado, y siempre pongan atencion con respecto a la expiration de El producto.
