Had a great experience getting a homecoming dress. She is great at being able to pick out dresses that look great on each person. She picked 3 dresses and they all looked great. She was fast and very nice.

As a bride looking for 5 bridesmaid dresses, in all different sizes, we had the most wonderful experience working with Kathy. I had an idea in mind of what I wanted to see the bridesmaids in, and with in minutes Kathy had a wide selection picked out for me to choose from. We had so many options. She had the dresses picked out right down to the exact color I wanted! The customer service was amazing, she is so cheerful and made our whole experience amazing! Once we decided on what dress we wanted to go with, we ordered them, and they came back soo quickly! I think 5 days they were in! I will definitely return here to touch of grace for any dresses shopping I need in the future!!

I am finally able to leave a review on this page lets start out with I cannot say enough good things about this kind generous women, I literally dont even know where to begin or how to put it all into wordsfirst of all Id like to say the owner of - * a touch of grace * - saved mine and my husbands entire wedding we went dress shopping and within minutes of walking into her beautiful store I was able to pick out my dress came back the next day and purchased it because I did not have my card on me that day she was very accommodating, it was not expensive at all it was very reasonable for what I was looking for this was before all the COVID-19 stuff started happening when it did start happening she was able to save the day once again she helped me get everything together that I needed right from her store and even attended our wedding ( I was a COVID bride which ill forever remember (it was a real small one but it was perfect for the day we wanted to have) I needed a veil and she was able to sell me one on our wedding day which was perfect again VERY reasonably priced, at very last minute on the way to our wedding I received a text message from the man who we had booked for our wedding day special photos and he gave up ( wont mention names but very unprofessional of him) I cried my eyes out and was devastated thinking I was going to have nobody to capture our special day not only did she attend my wedding she also got many photos on our special day and then helped me reach a female that could do them for us - THE DAY WAS LITERALLY SAVED AND WE WHERE ABLE TO CAPTURE OUR DAY - this lady was the highlight of our wedding and I will forever be grateful for her. My experience was amazing. So, Ill start with our story.At the last minute my fiance and I decided to marry. It was very last moment so I wasnt expecting much in the way of choice, selection, price, etc. Im not a spring chicken and so I had in mind what I wanted in a dress. I thought about ordering online but decided that wasnt for me. (I have always had a hard time finding clothes that fit me proper because of my shape so I was extremely reluctant to buy online and pray it fit). The other issue I had was with there being such a short window of opportunity I needed something I could buy off the rack with minimal alterations.Im a middle aged bride (Im past the days of perky breasts and flawless skin) and to be honest I needed all the help I could get in finding a gown that flattered me. Kathy was amazing. She welcomed me into the store with no appointment because as I explained (calling from the parking lot) I didnt have a whole lot of time to find the perfect dress.There was so many things that impressed me about the experience and the service.1) Most of the time when you go into a bridal salon (this isnt my first rodeo) the people working in the salons often try to upsell and find the most expensive gown that you can afford and often encourage you to buy your dream gown above your budget. (At least thats been my personal experience and what Ive heard from friends whove married). The dresses that were brought to me were modestly priced. No $2500 wedding gowns. (They were in the $100-200 range). In the end I chose a dress myself that was a bit more ~ but everything was affordable that I viewed.2) There was no BS. Im sorry but I can usually pick out a phoney at 100 yards and when you look in the mirror and you know what you see and someone trying to sell you something says oh, you look stunning and you know it isnt true ~ well Kathy was honest. If the dress wasnt flattering she flat out said ~ no, not that one ~ try another. Wow! Its refreshing to hear someone actually say that isnt the one even when it meant possibly losing a sale.3) The dresses at A Touch of Grace, are beautiful without the heart attack in the price tag. There is nothing worse than trying on a dress and finding its WAY out of your league price wise. This is one of the first bridal salons Ive been to where the dresses are all affordable. Now, yes, you do get what you pay for ~ but you dont have to sell off your first born or take out a second mortgage to buy your dream dress.4) Kathy went above and beyond. At the time I went in she didnt sell wedding shoes and so I had to try and find suitable shoes for a wedding (no easy feet ~ I mean feat in Watertown). She actually went to various stores trying herself on her off time to try and find me something at the last minute. What store goes shopping for you ~ in order to make your dream of a wedding come true? I have never felt Ive had that level of service ever. She texted me pictures, got my size and did a lot of the leg work to de-stress my already stretched nerves.5) There was a small issue with the dress (not the fault of the store) ~ a small stain left on the dress by a previous client who tried it on. She totally coordinated me getting it fixed prior to the wedding (at no cost to me). Another wow in my opinion. One could say hey you bought it with the stain on it and it left my store so now its YOUR problem ~ and that was not the case. It was like, here let me take care of that for you....6) Follow up. What store follows up on your special day to find out how it went? This one! At no point did I feel like ** I got your money, so now youre on your own. ** I got a message the week after my wedding asking how my wedding had went and wanting to see how I looked in my dress. Another wow!I will be recommending this store to all my friends and family and letting them know what a truly phenomenal experience I had at A Touch of Grace. If youre looking for affordable and wow you found it!

Kathy picked out my daughters wedding gown with just a few adjectives from my daughter. She treated us to beautiful service. Both of the mothers dresses were bought here also. The dress was the beginning of a magical day.

The lady here was nice, but if you’re not a skinny girl I don’t suggest you go here. I only had 3 dresses to choose from, and I didn’t even get to pick them..cuz there was no more than 3. I left feeling upset and not confident in myself. I went to David’s bridal and it was amazing!!!

First a very clean and welcoming shop. ALL staff wearing mask and all staff were very attentive to all our needs. They gave honest feedback on what our daughter choose to try on and have a great selection with truly amazing prices to choose from. This was a trip for the Capital District of NY to travel to Watertown, NY that we enjoyed so much. Our daughter Katie, with Kathys help, help select this gorgeous green gown for her senior prom. Normally, I do not like to give reviews. However, after what happen in this store I felt like I had too. I went into this store looking for a veil for my daughters first communion. As I starting looking at veils, one of their employees or it might have been the owner approached me. She gave me a look over and presumably told me what I could afford and what I could not afford. In all honestly, I was not dressed up. I had just came from the gym and this was my only time I had to look for veils.I put the veils back on the rack and told the lady she would never have my business. After all, I had already bought my daughters dress at Bella Bridal and Tuxedo Junction. I just needed a smaller veil. I went back to Bella Bridal and those ladies helped me take a larger veil and fit it to my daughter.This store has great customer service and people skills. This store may not have a lot of first communion dresses, but the dresses they have look to be better quality material.

The owner Kathy is a very nice lady, she seems to love her job and she always gives honest advice on which dress looks the best! I had a hard time deciding between two dresses for the ball and she helped me out with picking the one that best matched my skin tone. Also when I went to check out I was unsure if I had enough money to pay full price but she had mentioned that my dress was 50% off which was an amazing deal!!! I recommend going here to choose a great quality, beautiful gown.

DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE! I wish I can give them 0 Stars. They close at 6pm, I went at 4pm and a lady with black hair MET ME AT THE DOOR IN THE COLD AND ASKED ME WHAT DO I WANT/NEED ! Refused to give me service because I was looking for a wedding dress. Little did she know I was also looking for my bridesmaids dresses and I don’t want a traditional wedding dress. Horrible experience. Shame on them. Refused to even let me inside to have a look. I’ll be sure to let everyone know to NOT come here.

We got the dresses for my bridesmaids and marton of honor here. The order was completely messed up (supposed to be blue lace on the bottom not white) and we had a lot of bumps a long the way but Kathy being the phenomenal lady that she is, made everything right and then some even though she was dealing with a family emergency.

Went with my MOH to find a dress for my wedding. I was asked about my size which is typical, then was informed about the keratin diet and given a dress size too big after already informing her of my measurements. That is fine, then informed her that I was moving and when I told her it was for my grandmother who may have cancer again she told me did you know they have the cure for cancer at the mustard seed?

This is my second year going to a touch of grace for a dress. This year I purchased a ball dress for my senior year. I chose a dress but there were some complications with the dress when it came in and while Kathy worked to reorder the dress for me she suggested for me to try on a dress since I asked to see other choices. I was reluctant to try on the dress chosen since it had a high neck but once I put the dress on I fell IN LOVE! Kathy knows what shes doing and when she chooses a dress for you it will be beyond perfect. Stick to a touch of grace and I guarantee that you will find your dream dress! Not only did I find my dream dress, I also got amazing service! No matter how busy it gets you are always greeted and helped. This was one of many personal visits to this shop! I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. This is the place to go!

So glad we stopped in to A Touch of Grace when shopping for a graduation dress for my daughter. We had given up on finding one in Watertown when we took a chance on the last place on our list. Just stopped in this shop on a whim. I found a beautiful dress at a great price. The woman who helped me was extremely friendly and helpful. The most expensive dress didnt look as nice as the other that was a 100.00 cheaper. She was honest and not just trying to make a sale.

I went in to see if they had a certain style of dress yo try on. The first thing she asked was what color I was looking for. Well they didnt have that color, so she refused to help me look for the dress style. Will not be going back.

Definitely didnt experience a Touch of Grace! Horrible experience!! 1 star for the 1 worker that was nice to us.We walked in and were not greeted by anyone and it was just chaos in there. My mom and I started looking at a rack of dresses and this lady who worked there walked by and my mom asked do you know where the short dresses are? Her response was, theyre all mixed in and she walked away. We walked to the other side of the rack right where the worker was standing and there were all the short dresses, all next to each other, right in front of where she was when we adked. So that was already annoying.A second later, more people walked in the door and she ran over to them and greeted them and asked if she could help them. We were not offered anything like that. One worker was just walking around fiddling with putting dresses on the hangers correctly instead of offering us help even though she kept looking at us with the dresses in our hands. All very young, inexperienced girls working here (besides who I believe to be the owner).After having a couple dresses in our hand, a worker walked up to ask and asked if she could help and if we had a dressing room yet and we hadnt so she took our dresses and got us a number and helped point us in the right direction. She was the only worker without a name tag and she was the only helpful and nice worker there.We got a fitting room number and the helpful worker told us we would be in a couple minutes and continued to check on us and offer more suggestions. Finally, she told us that we were next in line, so naturally we went and stood by the fitting rooms. Bad idea. Its prom season (dont ever go during prom season if youre not prom dress shopping, which we werent) and theres a sign at the fitting room entrance 3 dresses allowed at a time. The workers were absolutely not following that rule. We stood there waiting for over a half an hour while the same girl tried on several dresses. A woman she was with just kept running out and grabbing more dresses for her while she held the fitting room. It took up everyones time and everyone that was with her took up the entire waiting area. ITS JUST PROM. I chose my wedding dress in less time and tried on less dresses.Another girl came to try on the dress that she believed she wanted and to talk about it being fitted. She came with her friend who wanted to try on dresses because she hadnt chosen one yet. The girl got to go to the bathroom (I believe) and she got it pinned correctly and came out to show her family. After she was done, the lady who fitted that dress, then took her friend and all the dresses her friend wanted to try on and brought her to a different place so she could try all hers on. Even though she was at the end of the line of people to try on dresses. Not fair at all to those of us waiting for a half hour +.Overall an extremely poor experience and we wished it was better. Drove up just to go to this store for a mother-of-the-bride dress.

Very dissapointed in the attitude of the lady who helped us. Was NO help to my mom who was looking for a dress.. She didnt care about what she was looking for even tho my mom told her what colors she wanted & all that. She just found a couple in her size & when she tried the first one on she was calling her seamstress over to pin it to be altered even tho she had no idea what my mom was feeling or that she even wanted it, because she had no desire to ask, she just wanted to sell a dress. Then when my mom tried the last one on, she came out & decided those werent what she was looking for & told the lady who looked very displeased & asked what It was she wanted even tho my mom already explained. It was a very uncomfortable visit & her attitude was poor. No thanks

I will never shop here again nor would I recommend this bridal shop to anyone! We had an appointment however, the owner was the only one working and barely helped us. My mother helped me in and out of the few wedding dresses I tried on. The lady was all over the place. A lot of the wedding dresses they carry are cheaply made which is why they are inexpensive. It looks like there are tons of dresses when you walk in, but there are mostly duplicates of each dress in different sizes. My mother knew more about the fabrics and alterations than the owner did.

If I could give negative stars I would. Have you ever seen the movie Pretty Women? You know the shop in it, that shop is them. I had grabbed a dress to try on, and when I was trying it one the woman asked me if I needed help zipping it, I answered no, she asked two more times, where I said no, but she came into my dressing room anyway (I had just gotten the dress on by the way), she told me the dress was too small, that I needed a bigger size, and asked me what my price range was, I said it was not too much and she told me, You shouldnt even be trying on those dresses. She then took the dresses I had picked and came back with three dresses, these dresses were not anything I would like to wear, one was something I called a granny dress. I tried one on, paranoid she would walk in. My friend whos around the same size as I am was there with me and was trying on a dress that was too big for her and the owner told her that she should give this dress to me. I left after that. This is not the first time I had a rude experience there. I would recommend Bellas Tuxedo Junction, prices there are reasonable and they are very nice and helpful.

Horrible! Went here to find bridesmaids dresses for a our wedding. She told me and my fiance since we are en we need to go sit in the back. WE ARE THE GROOMS! Big deal if we are gay get over it it is the 21st century. The store is so small. Trying to get into a dressing room was awful. They never took all of our dresses to the back. They made remarks that were rude and made our wedding party feel dumb. Treated us as if we were unaware of anything to do with the wedding world. We were there for a total of 25 minutes then left because of how uncomfortable she made us feel. We were not the only ones who complained our entire wedding party was made to feel uncomfortable. We decided to leave. She made a ditch effort to try to save us with $20 off. We made the trip to Syracuse to the actual Alfred Angelo salon. Received the best treatment you could imagine. Had an amazing time. They were so nice. There price was the same as hers with the $20 off. Trust me travel the extra way to go to Syracuse. You will not regret it. Oh, I have also been told several times that they are rude to bigger girls. After our trip to her store I BELIEVE IT!

I bought my daughters gown here for the senior prom. Kathy measured her and ordered the wrong size. It was too big and could not be taken in enough to fit without ruining the sequin patterns. She refused to do anything and said my daughter had obviously lost alot of weight! She ordered a 16 and we needed an 8!I tried to talk to her without other customers hearing. She was loud and obnoxious and ended up ordering it in a size 8......after making a big deal of it and putting my daughter in tears! I would never go to her store again. She loves herself and has no descretion in a room full of paying customers!!!!!

(I am posting from my husbands account )My daughter and I purchased a dress at a local store about a month before her junior prom. To make a long story short .... Two days before prom she tried it on and the whole back of her dress ripped all the way up the zipper !!! I panicked!!! Searched on line for the store we purchased it at for a number to message, sent a message . Then looked around for other stores that may have some thought as to what to do . I found Touch of Grace and messaged them . 1 minute later Kathy sent me her cell number and told me to call her . First thing she said was Dont Worry I am going to help you ! She said to bring the dress to the store that next day( I did) and her seamstress was waiting for us. She worked on the dress all day and then delivered it to me that evening ( Fiday night before prom ) My daughter tried it on and it still did not for right !! ( Night before prom at 8 pm) I messaged Kathy and her seamstress and she said come to the store at 7 am (Prom Day) !! We went to Touch of Grace at 7 am and as the seamstress worked on her dress Kathy made sure my daughter had a fun time.... She had her try on any dresses, offered us coffee and had some laughs !! After a couple hours the dress was not working out and we ended up purchasing a dress there that my daughter loved even more than her other one! Kathy gave us great deal and my daughter went on to her prom looking gorgeous!!! We want to say Thank you for your kindness and patience ... You helped turn a stressful situation into a fun and memorable time ..... This was not your mistake to fix and you went above and beyond to be sure my daughter was happy !!!! My experience at A Touch of Grace in Watertown was truly amazing. Lots of dresses, styles, and designers within a variety of budgets. The team helped me find my dream wedding gown.

I had the most WONDERFUL experience at a Touch Of Grace as Kathy and Chrissy helped me find ( more like design) my dream wedding dress. I am a very meticulous person and had shopped all around Watertown and neighboring large cities-These places were either trashy and unprofessional, being managed by young, immature young ladies or extremely dirty. At A Touch Of Grace, I felt important and classy-the way a bride wants to remember her dress buying experience. I had a very specific style in mind for my wedding dress-starting with a dress that was no longer being manufactured. Kathy made phone calls to order the dress and also had to work on getting extra fabric so that the seamstress could make the alterations I wanted. Chrissy transformed the original A-line dress with halter top to a one-of-a-kind trumpet style gown with custom ruffle along the neckline and tailored down across the front. It was a dream come true! (Ask to see pictures because I know they have them!) In looking at some of the reviews I think people need to realize a few things: (1) You can’t be committed to a “size”...look at the tags in you own closet-each brand and style fits you differently so I bet there is a variety of sizes shown on thoses tags. Gowns are no different-and a professionally fitted gown should be tailored to your body-that may mean having to get a larger size that may look big off the hanger but when properly tailored fits like a glove! Remember-no one sees the tag anyway...but they will see you looking fabulous! (2) Kathy had me try on another wedding dress while I was there that was nothing like what I described - remember I had very clear expectations of my dress...and it was something that didn’t even exist-it had to be custom made! Kathy’s motive wasn’t to crush my dreams, but to give me options! I appreciated Kathy knowing my body type and what dresses would fit me well. In my opinion, I like the time she took with me to show me options that I might not have tried on based on my first impressions of them on the rack-that’s not only kind, but professional! Went into looking for grandmother of the bride dress. They were very helpful and showed me were they were. One thing I really appreciated was they left me alone to look for myself. Not really pushey which I like when I am looking for something. I found a dress my size and color I liked with a jacket. Tried it on fit perfectly and my husband just loved it. The one side and front looked a little long I didnt want to trip on it. My lucky day the semtress just happened to be in the store. She pinned it up and said I can do that right now. We went for lunch and came back and it was done. I thank them so much because we had traveled from Ogdensburg and it saved us a trip back to watertown.What a great place to shop for a special occasion and wonderful people to have help you. Kathy went above and beyond to make sure my dress was perfect for my wedding!!

I am located in Rochester, NY and found myself up a creek when i was asked to be in a wedding 2 months prior to the date. After calling around to Rochester bridal boutiques and even some out of town boutiques i found a touch of grace was the only business willing to take the risk of helping me secure the dress in time for the wedding. Every other place said they did not think the dress would arrive in time and it would not be liable for the cost of the dress if it did not. Cathy was gracious, acomodating and communicative throughout the whole process and told me i would not have to pay for the dress if it did not get to me in time. When the dress arrived at her store 4 days before the wedding she closed her business and immediately ran to fedex to overnight the dress (mind you this is in the middle of her busy bridal season.) I would not hesitate to call on a touch of grace again in the future even though i have access to a ton of bridal shops in my area..they are worth the drive to watertown!

No customer service there were two ladies in there they were extremely rude and charged an outrageous price for measurements that only took two seconds to do not happy with me experience at all!

I asked if they have another size in one of the dresses and the young lady said NO, 4 seconds after the other lady said she have 3 more sizes . If she don’t know what is the inventory in there she don’t suppose to use the answer no, maybe “ I’m not sure let me ask “ sound a little bit more helpful .A little over priced .
