This is a family business in the best way. Bought my car here and am very happy with it, paid an honest price for a well-maintained car from their rental fleet. They realistically broke down the best values for me as far as warranty, etc. No nickel-and-dime upselling or tactics to increase the dollar value of your sale. Just good people that are good at what they do. They keep taking care of your vehicle with affordable maintenance after you leave the lot too.You might not get the squeaky-clean dealership experience here, but youll get very knowledgeable, neighborly, and capable service staff.

I found H+L motors when all the major name car rental places were out of inventory. They were open and had a vehicle for rent after my vehicle was in a collision. Incredibly friendly and fair prices. Knowledgeable staff that was very helpful.

Purchased a used vehicle from them. Service was good. Very happy with the vehicle The owners granddaughter was very helpful. Would like to see staff in a little more professional clothing and not cut off jeans and shirts. The guy decked out in the American flag outfit was a little much. Save yourself some time, if you arent talking to Grandpa then ask for him cause everything goes thru him.

Went with my husband and father-in-law to find father-in-law a vehicle. He was very insistent to work with this dealership. We were told that they would fix two rather large dents in the hood from the car carrier but of course it was only a verbal agreement (dents are still in the hood). There was no negotiating with this dealership, so be prepared to pay listed price for vehicle as is. We had to track down the title work to get the truck plated, they said they had been calling but no messages had been left. Overall I was not impressed but it was who he wanted to work with, he got to drive the truck a handful of times before he passed.

They saved my behind with a car rental. Super nice and so easy to work with. Will definitely use them again should I need to.

False advertising and horrible salesmanship!!!!Went to buy a truck that they showed clean interior with no dents in body. After talking with the salesman about the truck I drove over an hour to buy the it all to get there and find out that the truck had been wrecked and now has a crushed in bedside and I mean non-reparable to the point it had to be replaced and the interior was full of dog hair and not clean on top of worn out tires that needed replaced. There excuse was the pictures they used to list the vehicle online was from the first time they sold the truck and that they just reused them. And even though it was wrecked and needed a decent amount of interior cleaning and a new set of tires put on it they still wouldn’t come down on there price at all.

This place came highly recommended by a few individuals I trust, so I decided to give them a try. In June, I took my wifes 2011 Ford Flex in to have the circuit board for the console controls replaced and a leak in the brake system fixed. It took them over a week and a half to finish these repairs. The brake parts they replaced began making an awful noise shortly after we got finally got the car back, so my wife took it back and had them look at it. They couldnt figure out why the caliper / rotor assembly was making noise, but they assured us it was perfectly safe to drive, and put us down for another appointment over a week out to replace the new parts. Three days later, I heard a loud *pop* from the offending brake while stopping, and the brake pedal immediately depressed all the way to the floorboard, and I got a Low Brake Fluid warning. I was able to get the car home, and saw that there was now brake fluid sprayed all over the inside of the wheel well and suspension around the replaced parts. I took the car back in to be fixed. Again.Despite these initial issues, the staff still came off as friendly and helpful, so I thought the issues I had must have just been flukes. So, I set up some time to have the serpentine belt on my Mazda 6 replaced, and an engine code diagnosed. I was told they could get to my car on a Wednesday, so I had it towed in the day before. On Friday of that week, I called to check on the status, because I still hadnt heard anything. I was told that they had the new belt, sitting on the parts counter, and that they just hadnt done the work. I was assured theyd get to it right away. On Monday, I got a call from them for a new issue they wanted permission to fix. I gave them permission, and asked what the status on the check engine light was. I was told theyd diagnose that as soon as they finished this new task, which was going to take about an hour. By 5:45 that evening, I still hadnt heard from them, so I called in to check. They told me that the engine code as a cylinder 1 misfire (I expected it to be a misfire), and they couldnt give me an estimate on the repairs, because they didnt know if it was just the spark plugs, or if the ignition coils would also need replaced. So, in the 7 hours since they first called me that day (over 5 hours since they should have diagnosed the engine code), they apparently couldnt bother to pull out a spark plug to see how badly it was fouled. This is a ten minute job, tops. I was assured theyd have an estimate for me first thing in the morning (Tuesday). It is now Thursday of the same week, and Ive not heard anything from them. My car has now been with these jokers for 9 days, and they havent been able to complete 6 hours of work on it...and six hours is a VERY generous allowance to do the work that was required on my car, including the assumption that they would need to replace all six spark plugs and ignition coils. Im giving them until noon today to call me back. If Ive not heard from them by then, Im going to go get my vehicle and take it to a competent repair shop.Bottom line: Avoid this place if you want to have your car repaired and back on the road in anything close to a reasonable time. The prices here might be decent, but Id rather pay an extra 15-20% for my repairs and actually have them done in a reasonable amount of time. This place is a joke, and Ill never go back.

Great people, great work, affordable, and helpful

I inquired online about a truck they had for sale and received a call from Harvey the next day, but missed it and he left a message. After getting back with him via text message, we negotiated and agreed on a price, which was very fair in my estimation (below blue book for the truck due to some minor body damage and pretty high mileage for a 2017). When I arrived the next day (drove 3 1/2 hrs to get there) to test drive the truck, there was a problem with the stabilitrak system and even though I told him I wanted the truck, he insisted that he wouldnt sell it to me with the issue still present. He took it to the Chevy dealership and paid ($450) for them to find and fix a wire that had a short in it behind the dash. When I made the trip back up to sign the paperwork and buy the truck, he still honored the price we had originally agreed upon. I think most other places would have added the cost of the repair to the sale price. In my short time dealing with Harvey, he was super friendly, honest about what was going on, and kept me informed via phone calls every step of the process. Next time Im in the market for a vehicle, Ill definitely check H&L Motors out and wouldnt hesitate to make the long trip to Warsaw again to buy a vehicle from Harvey. And I love my new (to me) truck!!!

Its a good place to rent a car. Rates are good. I was hopeful that I had found one stop shop for rental and car repair all in one. I did not have a good experience with the car repair side of service. Ill rent a car there all day. I would not recommend car repairs based on my experience. Everyone makes mistakes, its how you handle it it in the end that counts. Did not handle it well in my opinion.

The pricing is okay. I hate having to take my car in and not knowing what it will cost. They are true to their word and do not charge you more than they quoted. They take care of you and seem to do more than you thought they would.

I was sold an SUV that had 3 recalls on the engine in 2017. Two months after purchasing the car, it caught on fire and exploded. I was told and I quote, we would never sell a car that is unsafe to drive.That incident could have killed myself and my children. I will never purchase a car from H&L again.

Always friendly and honest. I guess thats enough to put a car lot in the top 90%. I rated them 4 instead of 5 stars because its not necessarily the lowest price you could want, but in fairness thats also because they dont sell outright beaters. Sometimes thats what you want though. So if it is go somewhere else. If not this is a pretty good place to go.

We had to rent a car and 12 passenger van of a funeral in another state. The times they were open that weekend wasnt early enough but they were gracious enough to accommodate our needs. They were also friendly and very helpful through the whole process. Normally you pay more for such a high quality customer service but these were also the cheapest people in Warsaw. Great people, wonderful car to rent, and didnt break my wallet! Will use them again.My only complaint was while looking at the cars picking one to use I was being helped by one of the Ladies. An older man came up to join the conversation and lite up a cigarette while I was standing right next to him holding my baby. He also made a rude comment about my sister, who has 4 kids, having too many children when we were checking how many seats had the latch system. Other than him though it was a great experience!

He knew i was set on the rover, he could have easily gotten a sale... instead he let me know what kind of work would need to be done to it and told me to think about it.He didnt make that sale today, but he did earn a loyal customer.
