Leasing my 2019 Grand Cherokee was easy and I was happy at the time, but I chose Merrick for its proximity for service but I should have gone someplace else. They offer Express Lane oil changes on paper only, every time I go, they tell me I need an appointment. They offer loaner car service but they dont seem to have enough vehicles to loan out. I would get my next lease here, but I would not count on their service offerings.

Went in to order a new jeep, They said it comes within the 2 to 3 months, everything else was easy and straightforward, Had a positive experience, I shopped around first, then went to them with my best number and they beat it.Got a good vibe from Ira.As long as the jeep comes 8n the 3 months and there is no crazy price change, they were great. I purchased a CPOwned Jeep Liberty that was previously flooded. I did not know what to look for at the time. When I realized it over the 30 days they acted like they didn’t know me. They rigged the a/c and heater which blew out.. rust on floor hardware under rugs and electric locks and 1 window dies not function.

DO NOT LEASE at wantagh jeep. I have owned grand Cherokees since the eighties and never had a problem leasing or buying. Went here 3 years ago and leased 2018 grand Cherokee Ltd with no problems. Now go to get another 3 yr lease and sign papers and put $500 deposit. They will call when truck is in. I call them 3 weeks later and they Say that they will not honor the offer I put money on. Greg and Scott are mgt and have to re work the numbers. I cant even deal with salesman and he doesnt know what to tell me. Well they now want $3200. More money out of pocket over three years between down payment and $52 more per month. I tell them to cancel and credit me 500. Greg said I have to come in person to get credit..Never had such bad experience trying to get my wife back in a new Cherokee. NOT WITH WANTAGH JEEP.

My husband and I have had the worst experience with this dealership. We leased a Jeep in May but the only one available had cloth seats. We were told by our salesman James that we could pay extra and have factory leather seats installed. We agreed. We waited 2 weeks after signing all the papers and never heard back from anyone. We called about 4 times and James kept saying someone will get back to you but no one ever did. Finally when I called and said I wanted our money back they said we could pick up the Jeep as is and once the leather arrives they would call us and have it installed. This was in May. We are now in July and nothing has happened. My husband and I have made about 6 phone calls this month and all we get told by James and Scott is that someone will call us back the same day but no one ever does. Sometimes I call and just get disconnected as I’m being transferred 10 times. I myself have always done business with Hempstead Jeep and I’ve never had an issues with them. The only reason we came to this dealership instead is because Hempstead didn’t have the exact Jeep we were looking for and this place did. Worst decision we ever made. I wouldn’t recommend anyone come to this dealer.

The service dept is an actual joke with clearly no talent or proper management they will charge you hours.. of diag time for visual inspections and no explanations or diagnostic reports, service manager doesn’t return calls or messages.. have your car fixed somewhere else !!!!

I picked up my brand new 2021 Jeep Cherokee Limited on October 24th 2020. I traded in my 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. Ive had my new car long enough to say I absolutely love it! I wanted to wait to write my review, because part of my review is about how well Mike Vassas helped me choose the right Jeep for me. I didnt know what I wanted exactly. I went to Merrick Dodge Jeep thinking I wanted the Jeep Limited but I wasnt sure. Im only 51, and Ive never driven an SUV before. I was scared that I would be too small or that I wouldnt be able to handle an SUV as well as I handle a coupe. But Mike set my heart at ease by letting me get into a Jeep and showing me all the features that would keep me and my parents safe.He showed me how getting the 2021Jeep Cherokee Limited would give me the most bang for my buck and best safety features with a million extras that come STANDARD in these newer Jeeps. Be careful when Merrick Dodge promise you “good car maintenance, like basic only oil change. They always said “it will take about 30-50 minutes...Never happened to me in the past 2 years! I leased from them a Dodge Ram for 39 months. Each time they promised for service is “up to an hour service while it was 5-7 hours. You can try to leave your car with promise that they will call you soon. I tried that too... came back 4 hours later and they will say: “...ohh sorry...we are about to take care of your car now...”

These People are the worst. They sold me a car that was not properly detailed it was only washed and wiped down. You email them and they never respond. If I didnt know any better I would say they have caller Id because Bill Walsh doesnt answer/return any of my calls.

I leased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership and am extremely disappointed with the car provided. Within 2 years of the 3 year lease both headlights went out. Making an appointment to get it serviced was difficult and getting it fixed wasnt covered under the lease. It seems ridiculous to me that a brand new car would have both headlights go out and the dealership wouldnt cover it (coverage is within 2 years OR the first 18,000 miles for future reference to anyone, we had 21k miles).Youd expect the lights to go out for a used car maybe, but I guess my 15k over 3 years isnt enough to cover this $290 cost of new headlight bulbs. The entire experience was poor and I will be getting out of my lease as soon as I can and switching back to Acura. I recommend you find another dealership for your business.

Worst experience Ive ever had car shopping. My husband and I were there today and ready to purchase. The sales representative helping us made us feel like we were bothering him. Just a very unpleasant experience! We then asked for a test drive and waited for like 20 minutes only to be told that they didnt have anything available. How do you sell cars with none to test drive? Save yourself some time. Just avoid this place. Will never visit them again.

Just had my first experience with service on warranty repair. Ive been an equipment and heavy machinery mechanic for over 50 years. The job they did was excellent from beginning to end. They covered every aspect of the issues I described and the results were perfect in every way. The truck shifted better and the pick up felt stronger. The repaired suspension on this 2011 1500 felt like a brand new truck again. Ive had both Chevys and Fords in the past and never had a truck brought back to life like this. Great job....Thank you! My next trucks will definitely be Rams and Merrick Dodge will be my go to people.

The quickest Ive ever bought a Jeep extremely friendly...Wayne was great he knew exactly what I was looking for and did not try to steer me away from what I wanted we spoke for about an hour made a deal I came back the next day and Gabrielle who was was very friendly and kind had all my paperwork done very quickly. Id say the entire process took about 2 hours excellent dealership everyone there is super nice, went back to parts department spoke with Juan was also extremely helpful. Been to the dealership three times over the past nine years every time i see a salesperson i am told they dont have what i want and they will stay in touch yet the following week i see advertisements for cherokees that i had requested really nothing to say bad about the dealership sales people were professional but something aint kosher somewhere ended up getting what i wanted from other dealerships

After searching around at other dealers for a specific model Wrangler it was recommended to me to visit Bryan at Merrick Dodge/Jeep. After sitting with Bryan for about a half an hour explaining what I was looking for, he immediately got to work. Within a day he had located 2 Jeeps which fit my short list of demands. Once he sent the window stickers over to me I settled on one of them. He immediately got the paperwork rolling to perform a dealer to dealer swap. The rest of the transaction was all done through email or messaging, while at first I was a bit skeptical of doing it through messaging and email, he assured me everything would be kept confidential. The transaction couldn’t have been easier with minimal time spent at the dealer. From start to finish I spent probably about an hour at the dealer. I will definitely visit Bryan again when my wife’s JKU is at the end of her lease. At no point did I feel pressured. At delivery he explained every aspect and even got my phone paired for me. Recommended to give Bryan a visit.

I was recommended to go to this dealership and meet with Josh Levin and he was amazing! I was indecisive on which Jeep gladiator to get and he helped me pick the one I chose and he was really patient with me! Would definitely recommend this dealership and would definitely buy from them again!

I cant really complain. Although I have had to bring in my truck for service more than I had hoped, each time they took me in no problem (I did have to wait a few weeks for the appointment) and the wait at the service center to perform the repairs wasnt anything to be upset about. Actually this last time I brought it in was for some electrical problems (nothing major) and they noticed I had some recalls. They suggested I leave it there so they can not only fix the electrical issues but do the recalls as well. And would you believe that they actually gave me a loaner for two days free of charge. I have to say the staff there is quite friendly. I am so used to rude people who seem to be out to get you at dealerships but I have to say that I dont get that vibe from here.

Very poor customer service at this location! Our salesman did not seem interested in selling a car. The salesman seemed annoyed and bothered with my inquiry to buy a car. I came ready to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee and this dealership did not allow me to conduct a test drive. I was very unpleased with the customer service and decided to come to the Jeep dealership in inwood where the customer service was much better and they received my business. Avoid this dealership if possible!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! I have purchased 5 vehicles from the dealership. Long story short, a tree fell on my car while waiting for a recall. On a Friday morning they call saying the car is ready, on my drive home I notice my vehicle has a new windshield, so I pull over notice there is a dent in my roof. I go back to the dealer they said a tree fell on my car and thought they fixed it. THE NEW SERVICE MANAGER TRIED TO COVER IT UP AND GIVE ME BACK MY CAR THAT WAS DAMGED IN THIER POSSESSION. A tree falling on my car is not their fault but not telling me is. I expected more from the people at the dealership, but needless to say from the management down just a bunch of scumbags.

To Mr. Joe Settineri i had the worst experience ever leasing a car from your Wantagh location. Working with James KROPP --left a deposit on 9/14 and began following up week later. Issue was getting hitch for bicycle rack. Was told none was in stock but on order seems factory product was not available. Told James i could wait as lease had 2 months to go. I continued to call --never receiving a follow up phone call from James. Got to the point i drove other to the dealership and was told by Scott business manager car that we had left a deposit for was no longer available. Seems that James sold the car to someone else. REALLY no communication no f/u no return call from James who represents your company. Horrendous --DISAPPOINTING-- DISGRACEFUL-- DISGUSTING-- I would be giving negative 10 stars if possible.

I took my ram 3500 diesel in for a oil and fuel filter change and they wouldnt give me a price. After it was done they tried to charge me over $900 dollars for the job Wich is almost double what it would cost from any other mechanic. They were able to lower it to 650 Wich is still high but more reasonable. When they brought out the car they had gotten oil all over the thing and tried to wipe it down wich messed up my ceramic coating. The bottom of the truck had oil all over it. The stitching in the seat was pulled. If you wanna charge all that money for the job then at least take care of peoples trucks. Do you have a email or number to contact

They gave you the run around make you sit there for hours till they get to the price you want to pay. Would leave with our head spinning. We went to Merrick Dodge and saw Bryan Busuttil. We told him what we were interested in and the price we could pay. Bryan showed us a few options, we picked what we wanted and the deal was done in 20 minutes. No going back and forth to the powerful Oz behind the curtain to bring the price down and no sitting with the finance person who tries to sell you a million packages you dont want. Didnt make us sit at the dealer for hours to make sure we took the SUV the day of the sale. He asked us when we would like to pick up the SUV. Bryan made leasing a SUV a pleasure. I leased a 2019 Durango with the looks and features that I never dreamed I could have.I would recommend Bryan Busuttil if you are looking to lease/buy a vehicle.

So much better than a nearby Dodge service department that I wont name. Courteous, responsive, no BS or broken promises, and as fast a service as you could expect during the pandemic.Ill definitely be coming here next time even though the other dealer is closer.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Only gave 1 star because it made me. I made the mistake of leasing a 2020 Dodge Durango from this dealership. Not only did I get the run around from this dealership but the truck FELL APART ONLy TWO WEEKS LATER! When I initially went to the dealership in July I was able to speak to someone who seemed like they were legit and not just trying to scam you like every other salesman at a dealership. He quoted me a great price for the truck said they don’t have it on the lot but will search for the truck I want so I agreed. He gave me the runaround, telling me he will call me back never did, finally I got in touch with him after a month of trying to contact him. Should have went somewhere else at that point. Now it’s August and He told me they located the exact Durango I was looking for I was so happy at that point. Then I spoke with the finance department and she quoted me a totally different number and told me that since it is a new month the rebates changed and the monthly payment is going to be more. The salesman quoted me in July, they should have granted me the price they told me initially. I finally get the brand new truck with 50 miles already on it and a Rip in the back of the passenger seat!! I texted the salesman right away and told him about it and he said someone in the servicing department will reach out and have it taking care of, NOBODY called me!! Now two weeks later I’m driving straight down merrick road and it sounds like something is scraping the bottom of my car and then my car just goes out of control almost killing me. Now my car starts smoking. I pull over and I notice the tire is completely hanging off, the roator snapped, the suspension completely popped out. Got the truck towed to this dealership. When I went into the office Sean tried telling me that it was MY FAULT because the car was in motion and kept smiling and laughing. I expressed how it’s brand new and this shouldn’t happen, he didn’t want to hear it and continued to say it was my fault which obviously made me mad, I just leased a $45,000 truck and two weeks later it just falls apart and they tell me it’s my fault and I have to pay out of pocket!!! This place is a joke and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, they do not stand by their policy or their warranties!

I had such a wonderful experience buying my Jeep Wrangler. Roy was amazing. He didn’t pressure me into doing anything I wasn’t comfortable with and listened to exactly what I wanted. I got it all! Would definitely recommend anyone in the market for a Jeep to go here!!!

Extremely disappointing! They lack the commitment and integrity when dealing with service levels and customer commitment. Dont let the other reviews fool you as buyer beware!!! No follow up calls nor commitment to the customer. Wont take ownership regarding their mistake, misguiding and/or faults!!! Ill eat the cost, but will put a review up to help out anyone when considering this dealership. Unprofessional!!! I would give a zero if I could. Poor!!!!

Leased a 2017 Grand Cherokee and finally its out of my hands! The car was fully loaded which was great but the technology in the drivers seat kept going. They fixed the issue twice and it still went. They refused to fix the car on a weekend and I work 9-5 Monday to Friday. They wouldnt even offer me a loaner so I couldve dropped the car off before work. We had tried to contact the service manager after my last service which was for an oil change and tire rotation. I also had a small nail in the tire so they patched it for me. After leaving the lot, the low tire pressure warning came on and the pressure kept decreasing. I went back to the dealer and the service tech forgot to put the plug back on. I was in the dealer for 3 hours for this service. The service manager couldnt be bothered...look elsewhere!

Best service department. Love the staff. They always take care of my car the right way and the technicians know what there doing. I wouldnt trust my car to anyone else. Ive always gotten a great deal when buying a new car as well. Just a all around great dealership.

It was great purchasing a vehicle at Merrick Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Wantagh. In all of my experiences Ive had with this dealership, I have yet to have anything but the absolute best. The salesman, John Mcevoy, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly he never pressured me to make a sale. I went in numerous times in an attempt to pinpoint which vehicle I wanted to purchase and John patiently saw me through all the details. I was able to buy the best car to suit my needs and it was all because of the wonderful staff. Gabby in Finance was also able to secure me the best possible deal even when I didnt think it was possible. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who feels like buying a vehicle is a chore or to anyone looking for a terrific experience.
