Outstanding, if I could leave a 10 star review i would. I have nothing but the highest remarks to say about this store. The have assisted me over and over, time again. I needed a fan with a light in our rooms for some reason the builder decided to cut cost. I bought a few nice fans, and electrical wiring. Jeff with Home Depot who works in electrical explain how to wire everything. I went a few different times for advise and was able to have a new fan with lighting in no time. Another time had an issue with my deck and did not realize i did not have the correct color for the stain. I called the store and spoke to the Manager Chris. He said come back when you get a chance lets see what we can do to fix this. He went out of his way to make sure i was taken care of. I am grateful they are able to help. They go out of their way to make sure your take care of.

Home Depot is great! I feel like I’m here every other weekend for at least something.I highly recommend using the app to find where things are in store. While you can usually find an associate they seem busy and the app gets you right to where you need.

How disappointing. We placed a curb side pick up order to save time and prevent taking our children inside. We ordered this cabniet. Well it was CARRIED TO OUR CAR like this. The box was broken and open as well as the cabniet was pretty damaged. So how this was ever carried to our car I will not understand but that isnt the worst part. We went inside to inform the workers of the situation. A young man walked to the car to take the product back out of our car and he literally stood there saying he couldnt take it we had. So here we are with 2 young children now loading this on a cart and he wouldnt even push it inside until we had to request him to push it as we were carrying children. We spoke with a manager who had no solution to this we now had this product refunded and have to wait 3-5 days to get our money back. We wasted 2 hours of our time. No leadership in this manager and as much as we dont complain or expect anything but as a manager I am blown away that we received no incentive for the inconvenience of this situation which was no fault of ours. And now we also have to wait to get our money back and not even an apology. No offer of a discount for the product no offer of a customer gift card for the inconvenience absolutely nothing. We really wouldnt even expect that but to take fault and apology can go a long way. All I seen in this whole situation was alot of staff standing around talking laughing and playing around. The lady at the register was amazing and the only one who was helpful or kind. Another man word for word even said whats the big deal its broke you can replace the backing and paint it I understand that but why should we have to pay for something full price brand new and then fix it to? This is definitely a last trip to this store for us.

Bought a bad batch of BIN primer. It was thick and chunky. Greg was very helpful in getting me a refund. I purchased another 5 gallon bucket of same item. Calvin in the paint department opened it so I could see if this batch was the same. Fortunately for me, it was good. Unfortunately for Calvin, it splashed all over his apron and jeans when he opened it! Very friendly, knowledgeable and a great attitude!

I called to ask about ordering more of a product that was on the shelf. The lady said I’d have to come in to the store to order something not in stock. No problem. I came in and went to the customer service counter and asked for help to ordering a product. I gave the gentleman the sku and he said he couldn’t help me I’d have to call Home Depot.com. I asked why would I have to call if I was standing there talking to him. Long story short basically the customer service desk had no idea how to provide service. He wasn’t willing to research, call or help me in anyway. I ended up driving to Steele Creek NC about 3 hours one way to get the item I was looking for. It was only a thousand dollar sale and understand the current industry issues but that shouldn’t change the way we take care of our customers. As a leader in the customer service industry I’m blown away Home Depot doesn’t create more of a customer service focus at the manager level. I would recommend the pro desk at Lowe’s over Home Depot any day of the week. Lowe’s has a much higher level of customer service when it comes to ordering items.

I have had mixed experiences at this location. They usually make it right when something goes wrong but could use a lesson in reducing issues so they dont have to spend as much effort fixing them. This visit was a great opportunity for them to earn conquest business from Lowes. I had been at Lowes and spent 15-20 minutes on the plumbing aisle looking for the piece I needed. I brought the old part but could not find a reasonable match. No Lowes employee even walked down that aisle the whole time I was there. Went to Home Depot, it was worse. Spent the same amount of time looking. Stood in the aisle watching YouTube videos on the repair I needed to see if I could make do with other parts. A Home Depot employee actually came up behind me and said Excuse me, adjusted some things on the wall, then walked away without even asking if I needed assistance. I wound up buying something different and made it work. When I got to the registers, there was one with the light on, so I went there. Nobody was there, so I looked around to see if someone was working this register. While I was looking the other direction, an employee came up, turned off the light and walked away. Wow! This store is not the Home Depot from my younger days. Kind of sad.

I went to the Home Depot on Retail Rd in Wake Forest and was helped by a woman named Angel in the lighting dept. She was so helpful in helping me find a light that would help me under a tight crawl space. I really appreciated her going the extra mile, you can tell she likes helping people which is so nice to encounter.

We are new home buyers in the area, as we purchased our first Whirlpool refrigerator at this Wake Forest location. The cashiers have been friendly, however, we have only been assisted once by the gentleman in the Behr paint section of the store. Other than him, we have never been approached or asked if we need any assistance. Most of the associates in the store look in our direction and keep moving, so we just figure it out on our own most of the time. We are in the process of purchasing vertical blinds for our screened in porch and sliding glass door, we chose the Home Depot because we have established a line of credit with this store. The women in this department who are supposed to assist in selecting the blinds, setting up the measurements, and purchasing the blinds have been less than friendly and flat out rude. The first time we talked to an associate in the blinds section, she offered the entire book of blinds to take home so we could find what we liked and figure it out ourselves. She ultimately helped us get set up for measurements which were completed professionally and on time as it was scheduled. The contractors who measured our sliding glass door and screened in the porch suggested calling and going into the store to complete the process and get the installation scheduled. We came into the store about 9:30 p.m. and Karla was working in the blinds section. We asked her if she could help us with getting our blinds ordered and getting a price quote. Karla said she would have to look it up so we needed to tell her what we wanted, even though we needed her help to find out what would work for us. We asked numerous times to get an idea of the price range so we knew what we were looking at and she was no help. She seemed as if we were bothering her by asking for her. Again we were not helped and we walked over to the section and grabbed the books of options ourselves, as Karla got on the phone to serve other customers who were not in the store (this is what she told us) but until that point she was not doing anything but sitting at the desk. We stood there for about 10 minutes as another group of customers waited and Karla ignored them also. A man came over to talk to Karla and she asked him if he could help these customers. I was immediately frustrated and took the book to Karlas desk and said yes, these customers need help and it feels like you do not want to help us. She said she was calling other customers (at almost 10pm on a weekday) and Greg could help us. I told her I would be writing and calling about her lack of professionalism and customer service skills and she did not seem to care. We are now deciding if we will purchase blinds from Home Depot or shop elsewhere. Hopefully Karla can be retrained on how to treat paying customers with just a little decency.

I like this store as it usually has whatever home improvement materials I need but I always have trouble tracking down someone for help. The employees are usually not very knowledgeable about what I am asking about. I have had to wait over an hour to find someone to cut lumber for me and decided I would just cut it for myself next time. Overall a decent store but dont go here expecting to get any help with your DIY projects

Miles, a fine young man, assisted us in our visit to HomeDepot. My husband is a Veteran and cannot carry heavy stuff and Miles gave his extra mile helping him. His customer services went beyond our expectations. He pick up the cart, carried it and provided awesome service..Thank You Miles and Home Depot to hire an excellent employee. Be blessed.

I purchased a new Maytag Washer last September. It started making noises. The washer needed 2 parts one of which is still on back order a month later and I was told they had no idea when it would be in. They will not exchange the washer and refuse to give a refund! Paid cash! No washer use for 6 weeks!! I’m beyond upset. Buy from Costco where they stand behind products they sell and will exchange or refund

I’m very disappointed with the knightdale dome depots customer service (if we can even call it that). This morning I went in and purchased what I needed and while I was at self check out there was an extremely rude employee yelling on the phone at self check out. I checked out and bagged up my items to then be told I can’t take the cart outside. I was obviously confused and said “how do I get this out” to have her say “not my problem I’m not going out to get the cart”. She then stood there and watched me struggle to get all of my items out of my cart and get to my car. This is not a good look on Home Depot corporate. I will not be returning.

Never return call, faulty products not willing to replace products thats not working, thats brand new. I brought a Cab Cadet Zero turn mower, couldnt get it off the delivery palette. Return got two delivery date, still waiting for delivery. Call the store the have no idea where my item is. Call back how they claim it was send it out for repair when they promised a replacement.

Customer service has seriously gone down hill. Waited 45 minutes for someone to come get something from the overhead. Finally gave up and went to Lowe’s. Asked 6 people to get someone to get a drill battery out. Went to the customer service desk and a nice older gentleman went and got the code and got me the battery I needed. Now why couldn’t those 6 other people do the same thing. No one goes above and beyond anymore. Just states not their problem and move on. Such a disappointment HD has become.

What this location lacks is a good supply chain / inventory manager because theyre quite often low or completely out of things compared to other Home Depots in the area.But at the end of the day I still prefer this Home Depot over the nearby Lowes due to the ease of returns, better location / parking lot layout, etcBesides that, this Home Depot is about what you would expect with good customer service, a good return policy, and solid products.

Went to this location on Saturday and had asked if a certain item was in stock. They said it was not, but they have a few that are being shipped into this location in a few days. The cashier James at the customer service desk had us pay upfront to reserve it and gave us a date to come pick the item up. Today we came to pick it up, waited about 30 minutes to have them tell us that it was already out of stock. Make it make sense please. Such a waste of my time.

Ugh! Dont ask. Called ahead, gave SKU, said order would be upfront. Got there and it was wrong item and there were no more in stock. Left to run other errands went back into home depot to see what was available and found 1 of what I was looking for. If you want something done right you must do it yourself. BTW the store is 35 mins from my house. So calling ahead is a must when there is limited supply on website. It actually mentioned calling ahead to verify.

Went there today 4/10/21. So many people in the garden center. Had to stand in line a while to check out. The outdoor cashier was very rude to my wife and I about missed priced item and plastic chain I cut myself because no one would help me. Mark your merchandise better if you dont want custom to help themselves when no floor people will help.

We bought a water heater and had left our coupon at home, the manager told us to just bring the coupon in before it expires and they will credit our account. Well we did that and they refused to issue the $75 credit. So much for having pro status. Please do not believe anything they say.

I have been a lifelong Lowe’s patron, but since moving to the area this HD location has converted me! I did a lot of home projects over the past year and the staff and inventory at this location have been wonderful! The staff was friendly . I went to pick out a color to change on my stairs . I order a off red . But when I got home it was a bright red. To bright for my taste. I called the store a male in customer service said I may return the paint to get a justment color . Which I still want the paint not that color. So were going to see how my return go . The only reason I ordered any appliances despite delays weve been made aware of because of the COVID-19 pandemic; I was reassured that my appliances were available at the local warehouse and should not anticipate delay. However, I am now receiving an email stating there has has been a delay in getting your appliance order to the local warehouse. I just prefer open and honest communication, had I known the appliances were not at the local warehouse then I could have made an informed decision but I was told something else. I hope this store location has not been encouraged to implore misleading business practices for the sake of making sales. If I find out that a local outlet store has open box appliances that I need, Ill be canceling my order.

As a Realtor, Home Depot is my go to store for home improvement for clients, renovations, gifts, pretty much everything. After my experience today I will be shopping with Home Depot again. I witnessed two white women return trees and repurchase with no issues this week. I decided to return my tree today and do the same. The rep that assisted asked several questions as to why I’m returning...she then went on to say the tree is not in the system....to it’s no longer in the system ...it’s tooo discounted for her to sell back to me...she needs a manager for an override. She had a phone in front of her to contact the manager, but instead walks away to a phone further away while taking minutes to return instead of a second. The manager stated that if I return the tree because it’s defective I can’t purchase it back. I never once mentioned the tree was defective...he then proceeded with well ifYou return we can’t put the tree back on the floor. When I question the other returns and I also witness another white lady who returned a tree with no issues he didn’t have an answer. Ethically this was wrong, and discriminatory at its best.

Was looking for a specific combination of a 20 amp commercial grade duplex outlet and a waterproof cover to allow me to install the outlet in an weather exposed outside location. Home Depot came through. They had both items in stock. The outlet cover came in clear and grey. I purchased the grey one and painted it white to match my house. Yes, I know the paint ran. I was in a hurry. It was starting to rain!

With my focus on safety when I go out these days I often evaluate a place I visit by what Im looking for and how the employees and patrons are protecting themselves and me from this nasty thing we call corona virus (CV). I was pleased to see that almost every Home Depot employee had a mask on and some with gloves and about 70% of the patrons had masks on. Im hoping more people take this CV seriously as NC shifts to mandatory mask requirements. A little consideration for others can go a very long way in helping us beat this thing. I ordered stone through this Home Depot location, twice a delivery date has been set and still no delivery, spoke to store manager Chris on 1st missed delivery he assured me my purchase would be delivered on second scheduled delivery date 2nd date came no delivery I went to store on 2nd delay date at 8:15 pm to speak to Chris he was off ask to speak to manager on duty he was called by service desk person came up helped 1st person in line then took a phone call and walked off the service desk person called him again to come to front I saw approaching he then took another call and never spoke to me beware of scheduling a delivery

So many staff members... But no one to help. Waited 30 minutes for the ONE guy in the whole store who could cut lumber.... I was told he was taking out the trash.Spent 15 minutes on another occasion wandering around the store looking for someone...anyone. Finally found a guy, and he said he doesnt work in that department, then walked off. It seems they employ people to wear the vest, and do absolutely nothing.Also, everytime I go, stuff is out of stock. . . So call before you go!

I went to Home Depot in wake forest nc today. My purpose was to buy a mailbox. I needed a large mailbox and the one I was interested in was not on display. I opened the box because I was about to spend 80 dollars on a mailbox that I did not what it looked like because it was not on display.ASSociat came by and notified me that I was to not open up any more boxes because the picture on the box was enough.If I am going to drop 80 on an mail box it better be right. Home Depot needs to improve their training of associates. The date is 08 Aug 2020 and he was working in hardware.He should not be an employee at this location.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Waited for almost an hour to speak to a flooring associate about some laminate flooring that was a cheaper price at another Home Depot. They spoke to theyre Manager and said that they dont price match other Home Depot prices. HOME DEPOT DOESNT PRICE MATCH OTHER HOME DEPOTS???? Completely unbelievable. I was disappointed that the 3 foot HDMI cable would not be available for for curbside pickup for 4-5 days (I did miss that when ordering) but was advised there were cables available in the store. I could get one & simply not pick up the ordered one, then payment would be refunded. So I went to the store. The only matching item cost $ 8.00 more which the customer service rep failed to mention in the carefully worded response I got while he was looking at the in store inventory and said several cables were on hand. Turns out there was only one 3 foot HDMI cable...the plus $8. one. Yes I could have gone elsewhere but I had an immediate need, it was closest, and I could take my pooch without questions. Rest assured one cable will be returned in the end. Can you guess which one?
