We have had our children attend Forte for over 7 years and they have grown musically through piano, voice and drum lessons in so many ways. Its the best music studio in north county! Our children have a passion for music now that will last for a lifetime. The teachers have patience and help to challenge our kids. We are grateful for the gift of music that Forte has helped our children to have and we highly recommend this amazing school!

My son has taken lessons at Forte on several instruments over the past few years. All of the instructors hes had have been patient and knowledgeable, and hes enjoyed the lessons and learned a lot. Hes an advanced student on piano and a beginner with others and theyve been very good at teaching both levels.

If you aspire to be a musician and live in San Diego, Id highly recommend you check out Forte Academy. The atmosphere of their studio is very calm and relaxing. If youre like me and like to arrive before appointed time, theres free coffee and wifi while you wait. The staff are all experts in their fields. The drum instructor was an actual member of Marine Corps Band. So you know hes good. I just love the place. My son just turned 4 so I plan on enrolling him soon for piano and drum lessons. Ive seen Marla with kid students and they just seem to love her. She also has really awesome special too, like super discounts for referrals, free lessons, and cash giveaways. Bottom line, Forte Academy is the only place to be in San Diego for those who are serious about music and the arts.-Shawn

Im so excited to share with you how happy I am with what Ive learned in just 3 months. Ive had lessons before and thought I would have a difficult time picking it up again...but my teacher Marla, with her experience and wisdom helped me through the exact type of music styles I wanted to play.I am learning both sight reading and playing by ear so that I can be versatile in what I want to accomplish in composing music. Marla is one of the best instructors for voice and piano! I took lessons from Marla for several years and she has helped me tremendously with her vocal Talent. She treats everyone very nice and professional!

Forte is a absolute amazing place. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Taking group lessons is so awesome and everyone is so helpful in the learning process. My sister absolutely loves taking drum lessons with private help to help her at her speed. We couldnt think of a better place to go for music lessons.

On Friday I was asked by my high school art teacher if I would like to move onto art honors!I have been taking art lesson at Forte Academy of the Arts for a few months and I love it. My teacher Mr.Chris has helped me so much and now I have many new things I will be offered in and out of school. If it wasnt for the lessons I have been taking I would have never got this far and I hope to continue my lessons here for a very long time.

I have taken music lessons before and let me assure you, Forte Academy of the Arts is the best music school I have experienced so far. Not only are the instructors very friendly and energetic, they also take the time to make sure you are developing properly as a musician. The staff is personable and will assist you with any needs or inquires that may arise while waiting in the lobby. Forte also post monthly newsletters and student of the month winners to keep their website exciting and modernized. I have been taking voice lessons with my teacher Marla for about seven months, and she has definitely helped push the limits with my voice, and has showed me to utilized what I have learned with music testing and recital performances. One thing that I love about this music center is that it can accommodate a variation of ages, which range from children to adult. Forte Academy of the Arts provides quality musical education with well-rounded instructors and a great environment to learn in. I definitely rate this place 5 out of 5 stars!
