Absolutely delicious Lebanese food. The shawarma plates are satisfying and feeling. The beast had a slightly sweet thing to it that was very pleasing to the taste buds. The chicken tasted completely different with a savory base. I would recommend getting the beef and chicken mixed plate shawarma so that you can try them both. One thing that you can absolutely can not forget from ordering, is the garlic paste that they make here. It complements any of the dishes, very well, including the bread that they bring out for the appetizer.If you are lucky enough to have the lamb when you go there (because they order it fresh everyday and it runs out very quickly or its not available that day) then you need to try the kafta kabobgee. The spicy tomato sauce add-on complimented the meat exquisitely to create a perfect pair and a well-rounded meal. The owner even came out and admitted that this was one of his favorite dishes out of everything they offered. I have no idea why its not the most popular dish.

Suberb Lebanese food. All fresh, very healthy and incredibly tasteful. Go for the baklava as desert. This is the best baklava in San Diego.

The chicken in the photo is shawarma. Yikes. The only redeeming quality about the pita is that it was warm. Hummus was decent at best. At least the salad was good, but it was the best part of the meal.

Authentic cuisine with Lebanese options beyond the usual middle Eastern fare. Plenty of traditional dishes, like hummus and babaganoush, spicy olivers, grilled chicken and beef, and even home-made baklava. Check the hours before going, since they are limited on some of the days.

Business lunch for four of us. Food was very good and the service was outstanding. We were served by the owner who was so incredibly kind and attentive. So very hard for restaurants to stay in business during covid. This is a great option for authentic Lebanese food. Please take the time to eat here. You wont be disappointed.

An excellent Lebanese restaurant, taking greatest care to serve authentic, delicious dishes. All grilling is on charcoal, and you can taste the difference. Be sure to try the baklava -- its made fresh, and isnt super-sweet.

The folks at Kabogee Grill have such great chefs and all the food always tastes amazing. You can feel the love by how delicious the meals are, so flavorful and yummy. Kobobgee Grill made my taste buds dance! I stuck with the Mezzas …hummus, muhamarah, and warak inab (stuffed grape leaves). I’m still salivating while writing this review. This is seriously great food. Most people think they’ve eaten hummus. Grocery store hummus bears little resemblance to the real thing. Kabobgee’s hummus is smooth and rich and plate-lickable. Happily it and the muhamarah (really where has this been all my life!) is served with minutes old pita. OMG the pita, fresh, hot, thin, with a crisp crust. Back to the muhamarah, most people have never tasted this sweet, tart, rich, concoction of walnuts, mild red pepper, pomegranate and other mystery ingredients. Order it. And then place an order to take home so you don’t have to share. Speaking of not sharing, I had intended to share my warak inab with my friends. After one lemony, savory, yummy bite—no way. These are stuffed grape leaves like mama would have made if mama was Middle Eastern. Why are you still reading? Ge thee to Kobobogee!

From the moment you arrive in that restaurant the stuff gives you a great feeling. Very courteous team, it is a friendly place to to go out with buddies or with your date. delicious meals, talented chief cook and stuff, comfortable price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Love this Mom & Pop restaurant. The owner and his wife are very nice and treat you like family. The food is great and well priced. Seems like no matter what you order, they give you a lot of it!! The free Naan bread is great with the homemade humus that comes before every meal. Definitely will good back.

Went for dinner with my wife and daughter. The food was very authentic. Everything was prepared with quality ingredients. This place is find for anyone who wants authentic Lebanese food. Everything was well prepared and the service was fast and friendly. Not sure how busy they are at lunch, at dinner there was no waiting. We were served immediately and the food was fresh and hot.

I like this place. I have been to this place quite a few times now.The best part I like here is those hot pita bread and hummus which is being served before your order arrive. Some time I feel that skip lunch or dinner and just keep going on with those pita bread and hummus.My personal favorite is Vegetarian Makhlubi and Jallab(rose water and dates drink).

This is the best Lebanese food Ive had in 30 years. Grew up in a Lebanese restaurant...so I know real food.They use the best and most fresh ingredients and have standards, that I have only seen in Michelin Star rated restaurants without paying the High Prices!I have filled up for $10 to $20, on average.They even went out of their way to make a complicated dish of a special stuffed eggplant dish as a special order. They went out and bought the ingredients and it was ready when I came in at a scheduled timeGreat Decore and atmosphere and this is a favorite place for all the nearby business folks.Give these guys a try. You definitely will not want go any place else after eating the best lebanese food in town.Very Fresh baklava too

I ate today in this restaurant,to be honest I didn’t like it at all, Me and my girl friend ordered kozie and beef shawarma, the both were the same taste nothing different, not like I thought it will be, By the way, the sink for washing hands in bathroom was broken 😷, I don’t recommend any one to eat there.

The best place for getting Lebanese in town im my opinion, i work right by here and Mediterranean food is my all time fav and have tried countless places in sd, nothing ever compares to the flavors here, it can be pricey but if you go for lunch you can get some big portions for cheaper, i would recommend to everyone i know

Well I am so in love... sexy, yummy and perfect Lebanese food! We took our daughter and had dinner.... we ordered falafel 6p, taziki, hummus a Greek salad then our entrees I had chicken kabobs with roasted vegetables, my love had beef and chicken kabobs and our daughter had beef swarma...litteraly everything we ate was amazing! Falafel was moist and so delicious the hummus perfect... I tasted everything meats were tender and cooked perfectly and the best was the baklava sundae...i think I had an orgasm eating it!
