It is a good department store. It is conveniently located inside the Mall of Victor Valley. The place is quite clean and spacious. There were ample of apparel items to choose from. Most of them are on the expensive side. Still, there are few items discounted or on clearance sale. Of course, it is only on certain weeks. I would frequent this store, when I used to live in Victorville. Of course, at the time, I did not have much cash, so I did not purchase much items from this store. Still, it is a good store for apparel needs.

Absolutely awesome customer service.. I forgot my coupon, and had actually left the register. I returned about 5 minutes later, realizing my mistake, and the associate re- rang my order..

It is not how I remembered the depth store of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. My wife was looking for a dress for a funeral. We used to find dresses to wear to church. She gotva dress but force to get a dress she didnt like and didnt fit but she got to have it. My size is no longer offered in clothes or shoes. It use to be. I know we are up in the desert, but still offer clothes with some ethnicities. No longer my mothers store.

I was there today & did not have a good experience with the cashier at the entrance of home decor & Dyney clothing department. The young girl was not patient enough to wait x me to look x the online discount coupons, she went ahaid & charged, when I told her that I had my coupon ready she said o I charged you already!!! She was very rude. I was there between 3:30-4pm

Had to return some jewelry I bought on the second jewelry quality very bad jewelry is nowhere near decent diamonds falling out

The wait was to long. The cashiers were to slow. It took forever to checkout. I will say this, once we did, they were very friendly.

Its clean but its so empty, and when I say empty there are empty racks everywhere. It almost looks like its closing down, next time I need my Stafford shirts I will probably end up just ordering them online unless they get their stock back in, because it was hard enough finding the size I needed.

No shopping carts, clerks unhelpful, inventory low or not there on lots of items. Looks like this store will be gone in the next year.

My son brought 2 watches from jewelry department, he doesnt wear them because theyre too big. Went to have links removed and they wont do it because of covid. No one offered my son to try on watch when purchased, they were the watches in the cases. Very unhappy with jewelry department and staff. Hes a teenager buying his own watches, they couldve been more helpful to him and adjusted his watches, he spent a pretty penny on 2 watches. Now he has to pay to have links removed. Will never buy anything from jewelry department, and neither will the rest of family or friends.

I went to jcpenney at victorville mall because we came here to visit.

The store is a shell of what it used to be in its heyday, stock seems to be low, but the staff was friendly and helpful. A first among so many places Ive visited.

Didnt have the chance to shop inside of the store. Had to walk through to get to the mall. What I seen though was the same nice setup theyve always had. And the employees that greeted us were nice as well.

Went with my wife. Someone had to get their card out, I guess it was my turn. What I saw looked good

It was alright,but they didnt have enough shopping carts and no shopping bags which made it a little difficult.

They have beautiful stylish clothes for women and the store is very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. I do believe they are a little pricey but have good sales and quality merchandise. The clothes are well made and last so are worth the little extra you pay.They also have a large selection of clothing for men and children.Electronics, appliances, shoes and household items are all included in this nice big store.

I made a purchase and the cashier told me that if I applied for a credit card I would receive 28.00 dollars off she did not say if I was approved now my credit has dropped 17 pts she had lied to me and I am extremely irritated

Friendly and accurate curbside pickup, you do have to wait a bit but the employees are safe and friendly.Inside the store is another story people seen not wearing masks both with employees and customers.Saw three people and one family completely not wearing a mask.Some employees wearing improperly.Please for the love of all that is good wear a mask. I know it sucks but being in an overcrowded hospital with tubes shoved in you or in a loved one sucks more

This store is always fast and easy to shop but the wait is always TOO LONG. I would recommend less areas around the store to check out and more cashiers on the exit registers of the store. It never really seems stocked anymore either alot of empty areas making options less. 😕

NOW I FIND THAT THEY HAVE 5 DIFFERENT COMPANYS MAKING THESE ST JHONS MENS SHORTS. THE BEST ONES ARE MADE IN BANGLADESH AND HOUNDORUS. GOOD QUALITY. SO LOOK AT THE LABLE SEE WHERE THERE FROM

Horrible experience today. The older woman who was ringing up my mom had zero customer service skills and couldnt figure out how to use a JC Penney credit card. My mother shut down her account with them and I am done with them as well. To treat a senior citizen the way she did is totally uncalled for.

Worst Customer Service I’ve EVER experienced 😡!!! We waited longer in line then we spent looking. I found the only other employee there to ask for help checking out and she flat out said No! Then the only cashier called for help and little miss jasmine had to come help but when it was my turn she of course left, just like I told my mother and daughter she would! This is unacceptable leaving only one very polite cashier Karen to work alone!

Waited 22 min to pick up in store. The employee clearly didnt know what he was doing needed a supervisor twice to override and only 1 customer in front of me. My mother was shopping while I was waiting we then go to the check out again only 1 person on front of us and waited 15 min. Do not do in store pick up most of the checkouts are closed. And I watched a disable women request to let the manager know she was having a difficult time due to the new lay out and it wasnt accessible with her scooter. Im writing this while still standing in line at jcpenny -_-

Still, they had a good variety of clothes to choose from. Of course, I have been here a long time ago! Still, from what I remember, it was a good store! Too bad, that JCPenney had to file for bankruptcy!

Since they reopened I saw a line to checkout that was ridiculous so luckily I was able to pay for my item at another checkout that was clear across the store. Im glad they are open but to prevent any possible chance of a spread they need to move the lines quickly.

The lady in the jewelery department was very rude and unprofessional. There was a sign in sheet to be seen and me and wife put our names down. The lady was helping a customer so we were waiting for about 30 mins. We noticed people getting helped before us that came after us. When we approached her she told.us to sign in and we stated we did then. And when we asked why she wasnt going off the sign-in list she stated that she knew who was there first. I asked how she could have because there was about 10 people waiting on the list and she was just taking people that were close to her. We ended up leaving after wasting 30mins waiting patiently.

This store has always been exceptional. Very clean, smells amazing. Friendly staff. And very low prices. The value Jcpenny gives is on par with places like Walmart. But the experience at this store is above and beyond.

Me and my husband have looked many places for a mattress bit here we found our new mattress. I will say Reggie was helpful,kind and courteous he answered all our questions and concerns. Always only one dressing room area open out of 4 or more? Have to walk across the entire store to try anything on! This store is too large for this, the dressing area that IS open isnt even one of the centrally located ones! Very few staff members available. Nice selection, but too inconvenient to shop regularly. Wouldnt come unless we couldnt find what we needed elsewhere.
