After purchasing a home in Ponchatoula, LA and it flooding from Ida; I had to temporarily move back up to Vicksburg with my dad until I could make it back down. Ive been to Atwood on many occasions for services. I needed new tires installed on at least the rear of my car, as they were pretty bald. I gave very little time for the service and parts department to work with the tire vendor, but they came through for me in the end! At first it was only going to be the rear tires installed, and as they pulled my car around, the front tires had arrived. They got me in quick and efficiently so that I could get back on the road to move back to Louisiana and make it to Baton Rouge in time for my Nanas funeral! I would definitely recommend Atwood for anyone either traveling through or living in Vicksburg.

So Ive been emailing and calling prior to my arrival and I was told what I was looking for was available. HOWEVER, after driving over 2 1/2 hours to get there. I find that not only do they not have the inventory I was informed about, the person I was suppose to meet didnt event know I was coming.The lack of communication and professionalism is why I would never recommend this place. It put a real bad taste in my mouth.

Fantastic experience with service!Originally had an oil change scheduled at the Ford dealer next door. Drove to the dealer and then they told me they didn’t have time... went next door to Atwood and they immediately got me in even though I was driving a competitors brand. My family has bought from here most of my life . On my last truck I just got a 14 Chevy Silverado LT, awesome truck but I was not informed about the issues with the truck, my entire brake drum was grinded off on the inside and caused massive damage to my wheel. Cost 1600 to fix it and only after having the truck 3 weeks. They actually wanted me to pay the full amount which is obviously just wrong. Eventually I had to pay half of the amount thanks to my father reminding them we have been customers for 20 plus years . Worst part is I took it in a week earlier due to a squeaky noise coming from the very same wheel, they said they greased it up ???? But that nothing was wrong, so whoever inspected the wheel mustve been blind or did not take the wheel completely apart . Just not a good effort level . Now it seems the shocks in my truck are worn out, one more thing that I must fix . My trust in them will be hard to gain back.

Conveniently, the problem associated with my car was not covered under warranty. Problem was never fixed and persisted until I took it to another dealership. That dealership looked at my car, found the problem, and determined it was covered under warranty. I feel ripped off.

Dealership replace battery but left battery connector loose causing vehicle to code out.Took vehicle back to dealer they re-programed it but check engine light came on.vehicle back at dealership waiting to see if they willing to make good on their error also changed oil but left oil filter loose

The reason Im not satisfied with Atwood Chevrolet, Inc., I paid them a lot of money 💰 for fixing my transmission problem. They didnt fix my transmission problem. I only got to Mississippi, when the same problem happened again. Im going to call the Atwood Chevrolet, Inc. people to find out what they plan on doing about this problem.

I purchased my new 2017 Chevrolet Colorado from Atwood with the intent of purchasing my wife’s and daughter’s cars from the same dealership; keep my business local and be able to have quick resolution to any maintenance issues. I found lower prices in Dallas and Jackson, but paid the extra money to stay local. Since I’ve owned the truck, the two major maintenance issues (transmission shake-shudder and frequent Check Engine Light that prevents the truck from starting or shifting) were a complete struggle to try to get repaired. As a result, I purchased a Subaru for my wife and a Nissan for my daughter. Both of these facilities have been able to repair any defects the manufacturer passed on to the dealership. The no-start Check Engine Light has yet to be repaired after five visits to the Atwood maintenance department, with no mention of resolution. This has already saved several of my friends from purchasing a Chevrolet Colorado, or a Chevrolet from Atwood, after seeing the no-start condition and my record of the attempted maintenance.I made one last good-faith effort to have Atwood repair the no-start condition and have waited three weeks for a rental car with no response or update from the dealership. The truck is still under warranty.

I recently took my truck in for an oil change and they pointed out to me a couple of problems that needed prompt attention for safety reasons. They worked with me to give me a very reasonable price and had all the work done the same day. Because of their prompt and reasonably priced service, I have been a customer there for more than 20 years.

My experience was horrible, I purchase a vehicle last year May, my vehicle has a been in the shop maybe 5 months in and out, Ive been told to talk to GMC and now Customers Service, Place on hold and now theyre telling me we will call you back. Desperate help is needed at Atwood Chevrolet in Vicksburg. I do not know what has happened at Atwood in Vicksburg or if it is really a Chevrolet dealership or not. I came this morning to get a simple oil change and tire rotation.The mechanical part including the oil change and tire rotation where done excellent and in a timely manner.The alarm button goes off first, with limited service rep on duty. One gentleman overloaded. He was kind and efficient just seemed to have too much to do. The warranty lady helped cover him and was truly efficient and their lucky to have this customer dedicated staff member.The waiting room had holes in the leather chairs, carpet so dirty you hated to walk on it, the walls had not been cleaned or painted in a long time, one sales rep ask a maintenance man for soap in the restroom reply ladies restroom soap dispenser does not work, light fixtures are dirty, and coffee area needs help.Sales staff were on their toes each one friendly and speaking.Someone who cares from GM needs to do an inspection immediately. Atwood does not look or smell like an Chevrolet location.Baton Rouge All- Star nothing like Vicksburg.Send help immediately.

This Dealership Doesn’t Deserve a rating. It has The WORST Serve Dept. EVER! They will lie to you about The Diagnostic of your Vehicle. I took my vehicle in for service they told me Diagnostics of it said it would fix the problems. I returned 6 moths later with the same problems then they tell me oh, it the brakes, 🤦🏽‍♂️ Brakes? Well what Hell! You made me pay you for in Nov? I will NEVER! Take another vehicle of mine there again. ✌️

Very nice service advisors however we brought our work truck into have a problem that another dealership fixed the previous week and they did not give us any price breaks, i was told the advisor would call the other dealership to see if there was something that could be worked out and nothing was done. So we basically had to pay for the same service twice within 1 week. I know the dealerships are independently owned and it shows but I would of brought my numerous other trucks in the area to this dealership as well, instead we take them somewhere else.

I had my Chevy Avalanche in for service traction control an ABS warning light came on would not go off until problems are corrected. It taken Johnny and the service tech a while to fine the problem but they never gave up until truck was repair and Im happy didnt give up. Johnny made me promise and he kept his word and Im happy I brought my Avalanche back to where I purchase it at for service. Johnny was there in 2008 when I purchase and he still on the job giving good custom service.

Poor service, They have lack of management they have only one person that kind of run the front to back and thats the service manager, everyone else to draw unemployment for the rest of the year cause theyre just receiving a check for nothing. And NO its not that Good at Atwoods

I called the dealership and asked if they had a eagle f1 asymmetric 3 245/40/20. Parts guy said yes. So I drive 2 hrs to the dealership and had them installed. It was raining when I left the dealership and didnt look at the tires till I made it home. When. I got home and looked at the tires, they were regular f1 asymmetric all season. Not the f1 asymmetric 3 ROF. So now I have ultra high performance tires in back and all season tires on the front. It doesnt freeze in Louisiana. F1 asymmetric all-season dont even come in the rear size 275/35/20. So I called the dealership and they basically said O WELL........ Now Ive got to spend another $800 to get matching tires plus new ones for the back!!! This is unacceptable!!

My name is Calvin Russell and this is my story. The service department should really shut down. I have no idea how they stay in business. I took my car to Atwoods for an issue with my air conditioner and a check engine light on my wifes Malibu. They put a diagnostic on it. I left it and they kept it for 4 days. I pick the car up only to see that the remote start didnt because the check engine light was still on. Oh, to add to the issue, the work they did cause an oil leak. This went on for almost 4 months. either they kept it or I was in every other day .They thought putting me in a 2018 pickup while working on my car each time would keep me happy for a while. I insisted on seeing the owner and that that they put another tech on my can, but they didnt. They kept putting the same inexperienced technician on my car, and I NEVER saw the owner even after leaving messages. The service manager is running a daddy daycare. When I complained, I got a lot of personal stories. I had to consult with my lawyer. It took them almost 4 months to fix what should have been fixed that day. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK THERE, AND I SUGGEST YOU TAKE YOUR CAR THERE AS A VERY, VERY, VERY LAST RESORT. Shade tree mechanics could have done it faster and cheaper.
