In June 2021 I upgraded to the latest Culligan softener that takes much more iron out of the well water than the old system (installed in 2009 or so) and it uses very little salt. Water is much nicer now for laundry, showers, and dishes.

Service was great. I called on a Monday and Tuesday morning a technician came out to fix the problem. He was friendly and professional and he made good recommendations about how to avoid the problem in the future.

It is very convenient to have the salt delivered and filled directly. We both work and they deliver during those hours so the only people home are elderly. I get notice of the delivery by email a day or two before so I can remember they are coming.

I HIGHLY recommend Culligan Water for many reasons! The customer service they provide is fantastic. My mother recommended them to me and Ill forever recommend them to everyone else! They patiently answered every questions I had. They went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied. The salesman Jim is great to work with and the installation mans name was Andrew. Now that guy deserves a raise! He did so much more than what your everyday installer is expected to do for my family. Every person I worked with while getting my water softner hooked up was pleasant and easy to work with! 10/10 stars!!!

Had to have a technician come to take care of our reverse osmosis system under our kitchen sink. He was awesome. Friendly, helpful, clean, and thorough. We were glad we had it done. The cost was worth the quality care.

Well we had a bad situation and I am very pleased with Culligans customer service. Long story short a short term tenant signed up with Culligan without any knowledge from me and gave them all the wrong information. It is not a service that I was wanting at this time and they set up to come get their equipment and were very hassle free with the entire process. I appreciate their professionalism in the matter.

Everyone whom Ive come into contact with from the receptionists to the delivery staff have always been helpful and knowledgeable when I call or when the come to the house. My brother and I have purchased another house in the neighborhood and will absolutely have a Culligan water system installed! I have no reservations recommending them to anyone.

The system was installed professionally and quickly. The smell and taste of the water changed instantly and that made a world of difference in the food cooked in it as well as cleaning. I had a service call and was treated professionally and with courtesy. It has made a major difference in the quality of the water as well as the value of the house. i would recommend the service to anyone.

I wish that I had all amazing things to say. I will start by stating how amazing the installer and repairman (same person) is. Very courteous and willing to explain anything and everything. When we had salt and filter delivery during the first year, that gentleman was also an incredible employee.The system when working, is great. My reason for three stars is the need for a $253 repair 1 yr and 8 months after install. A repair I was told will probably need to be made around the same period of approx two years. I was told that by replacing my filters more often, I could possibly make the repair less often. Unfortunately that just means more money on filters instead of repairs and who knows if that would even be a solution. It is not Culligans fault that my well water is not the greatest. Im just worried how much money I will need to dump into this unit over its lifecycle on top of salt and filter purchases to keep it up and running. I understand that these units require maintenance and $253 is not really that bad or expensive but what will the repair price be the next time, and the time after that.Sharing this review because I want people to really take a look at their water situation and total costs. I know renting per month is more expensive but might be a better option in the long run but I could be completely wrong on that. I wanted to rent a unit but Chad the salesman convinced me otherwise and so I purchased instead. Starting to wonder if I made the wrong decision. Who knows, if I went with a much cheaper non-culligan unit it might have broken even sooner.

The service that Culligan has given us has been fantastic. Rob, our delivery guy, takes care of the Softner tank and carries the 5 gallon bottles for us which is important because it is extremely difficult for us to carry them. Keep up the good work - GO Rob

I was a new customer, having moved to Valpo in February. I recently had filters replaced for the first time in which the technician was very polite and professional. When I received the bill (over $200), I thought I was billed incorrectly. There was a $2 paper billing charge and a $90 service call fee. I didnt realize the the price of the filters (over $100) did not include the service, even through the line charge says filter service.When I called, I was informed that I was billed correctly and that if I wanted to avoid the service charge, that I could pick up the filters at their location. I asked why I was not given that option in the first place! Not everyone has an extra $92 laying around. I tried to argue my point that the original receptionist should have been more transparent as I was not given the option to pick up the filters and I was not aware of the option as I was new.Alas, the receptionist said I had to pay. So instead of comping the $92(which could have been avoided in the first place) and keeping me as a customer (pretty sure the future revenue that would be generated off of me would be greater than $92), I am paying the bill and no longer using Culligan.

We tried two other water companies, and several filters, before Culligan knocked on our door. And we are SO thankful that they did! Our water is no longer yellow, it no longer has an off smell to it, no more washing dishes twice, and our clothes come out of the machine and dryer like brand new! It has really made THAT MUCH of a difference! Thank you!!

They called me almost immediately, came out the next day, gave me plenty of options for fixing my really bad well water situation, fixed it promptly, were very courteous, polite and friendly, and overall were just great. I wish all my service requests were this easy, or even half this easy.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I need to edit this to let you know that if you base your water softener decision on the ability to get Culligan financing, you should wait to hear whether youre approved before you actually go through with the installation. And it can take weeks.

My experience was horrible lied to by chad told my system was broken and owned by Culligan but both were not true after I bought a system online I was told I owned the system and the could send a technician out to go over it with me which is what I asked for in the beginning and was told that chad was the man the are liars and thief’s I wouldn’t want to fall into their scamming schemes stay away from they will lie and say they are the only company that can do what many others can the will throw salt on every other company as chad did ONCE AGAIN DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAMMING COMPANY

Culligan water at one time was loyal to there customers and there employees. Now with the new owner Steve Gipson its starting become one of the worse cons in the water industry. There salesman are telling customers that there reverse osmosis will prevent or cure cancers. They are also trying to scare people into buying there system by telling them that they have nitrates or other thing in there water when they dont. They charge outstanding fees for salt and water. They try to teach there service techs to get the most money they can out of the customer for every service call they go on. They tell there salesman to always test the kitchen cold water because most of the time the kitchen is on hard water for drinking and cooking so then they can say that there water softener doesnt work . This is bad business and for some one like me that loves the water industry could no longer work for a company like this so I branched out on my own for now. I will probably start my own water softener company in about one year from now because I signed a no compete form with Culligan and they are really mad that I left them. And they have even threatened me that they would sue me lol How pathetic is that. There are still many good water softener companys out there that are good and loyal to there customers if you need one ask me I will refer you to a good one. The owner had several people hurt them selfs on the job the owner never called one person asked how they where doing. Also another employee that died the owner Steve Gibson didnt even go to his own employees funeral. Now I could understand that if it was a huge business. But it is not it is a small business. The day that people at Culligan found out that he died the service department was devastated. The owner and his salesman Kurt sells was only worried about one thing and one thing only and that was getting unit in that morning. Thats when I really found out what kind of owner he was. Now that I posted I am sure Steve and his salesman will lie about me probably say I am a disgruntled employee but thats who these people are and thats what they do. They lie and there the best at it.
