Great market with great prices. This place has a variety of food staples (produce, meats n deli, dairy products, canned food and cooking oils, spices, snacks, wine and beer, etc.) and pretty much covers most household items. Favorite items may not always be restocked as this is a bargain market that gets certain items at discount.

Pretty good you need to always check expiration dates. Otherwise clean, friendly, pretty good deals store.

Its a solid grocery outlet youre sure to find a good buy the juice /drink selection lost it a star but id come back

I love this market! Cashiers are the nicest people. There is always something interesting to buy, like seasonal decorations or a new protein bar. Although small, this market has most of the things I need without having to go to a big, crowded supermarket

This location has improved dramatically recently. Its my go to grocery store in town. Great beer and wine selection and quite alot of organic options.

Section 114259.5 of the California Retail Food Code says that “live animals may not be allowed in a food facility.”However, our experiences at both Grocery Outlets in Vallejo have made it perfectly clear that health and sanitation take backseat to the feeling of customers who break these laws and don’t care about others.First it was a lady peeing on the floor inside Grocery Outlet on Marin Street in Vallejo. Then it is regular non-service dogs being allowed in both Grocery Outlet’s daily.After complaining, both Managers/ Owner stated that Grocery Outlet’s policy is dog friendly. I called Grocery Outlet corporate headquarters to confirm and spoke with Michelle who stated that they are only Service dog friendly. That is understandable however, anyone with any kind of pets are welcome at Grocery Outlets on Admiral Callahan and Marin Street in Vallejo.This is a health issue that clearly Grocery Outlet is aware of but chooses to ignore and looks the other way.According to both store managers the dogs can stay despite not being a real service dog. Yet a law abiding customer does not have a say, except never walking back into either of these unhealthy Grocery Outlets or any other store that doesn’t respect the laws meant to protect all citizens.The few dollars you might actually save by shopping at a Grocery Outlet means nothing if you can’t trust management to follow health and safety rules. If they’re breaking this law it’s only fair to assume they’re breaking many others.For the record “1 Star” is the lowest you can give but the truth is I refuse to spend my money buying groceries in a large outhouse that is not sanitary.

The Grocery Outlet ( 401 Marin St, Vallejo, CA)I am a retired man, 72 years old. I went to the store to buy somethings this afternoon.The security guard stoped me at the door, said: you steal before, you can not go in.I think he may get wrong remember and I said when? who? whats his name? he said: a few days ago. dont know name, I know you. I said, I need talk to manager. he refused and force me out !I feel i was Plainly insulted for no reason.If security guard find stealing, need report to manager immediately.The store shall have the legal procedure.

They dont have a big selection but they do have a lot of interesting finds. Also the employees are cordial and helpful. You can find a lot of good deals but there are some things that are cheaper in bigger chain stores.

They may not have everything you want but the things they do have are very well kempt and priced.

Really good store but I feel really uncomfortable when I shop here because the security guard follows me around store like Im going to steal somethingI call that profiling 2nd I went there to get some twix Is says clearly for twix for a dollar when I get there to ring it up the cashier tells lead that is only dark chocolate when it clearly says here Carmel twix

The staff here is friendly and helpful. Always a good atmosphere. 9 out of 10 times I can find items I am looking for but at a lower cost than other stores. Good beer and wine selection, as well. They have a great orgnanic/alternative foods section.

I like Grocery Outlet very much. 38 years shopping the chain. Althought they dont carry everything they do have some awesome deals to be had. Not everything is super low in price. Often consider high quality items are sometimes offered at deep discount prices. I presently enjoy kitchen utensils and of all things outdoor mats. That alone with cheese, yogurt, juice, canned goods...☺

Really great prices on a lot items. I stocked up on healthy food for far less than a typical grocery store charges. I got checked out quickly and its conveniently located for me. Ill definitely be shopping here more often.

Its always nice to have a location close to home on way home from work. Where people who go there and the ones that work there are so welcoming. Really its good and I pick up what needed and retire to my home. I appreciate that this grocery is available, convenient and have good prices for all to share...We spend enough on gas and daily living. Nice couple that took it over! !

The merchandise, the prices, and the staff provide excellent service....i am always so happy when I get home with all my bags of fun stuff and extra money on my limited low income budget ....

Well another hidden gem in Vallejo. Great deals on Wine and some decent organic food. Very nice staff. Check the dates on dairy products.Security is good with Ron on duty.

Needed a few things. Found them easily. Checkout was fast. Cashier was friendly and fast at getting my grocery order in the bags. Employees are always helpful and in a great mood. Always help me find things by taking me to them, not just telling me where it is.I always leave the store in a better mood than when I went in. Very good shopping experience.

Very friendly staff and great prices. They cut back on their vegetarian options though and it sucks because my dad is a vegetarian so it’s hard to find food for him, he hates salad I used to come to this location to buy him most of his food but since they don’t have as much i stopped going a frequently. Other than that it’s a great place to buy pretty much anything you need.

Good deals on both name brands and interesting finds, indulgent to healthy, including organic shelf-stable items. Some good conventionally grown produce, including lots of prepared salads. Fairly logical organization: I appreciate that the impulse items that are placed to catch the eye are also available in the appropriate section for easy comparison shopping.

Availability is limited and the prices have started going up so its getting harder to find good deals

Im new to this neighborhood and this is one of my favorite places to shop. Some items are pricey but worth the quality. The people here are friendly and approachable!

The best thing I can say is that I always leave happy. I especially like it when they announce the amount that I have saved. Sometimes I feel like going back into the store to use the amount Isaved to buy more.They can never be sure an item will be in stock because things sell out quickly. So if you see it, buy it in bulk-it may not return.

Customer service and awareness is horrible. Employees are not aware of potential crises before they occur. Checkout lines get long or have an issue they do not think to call another checker. Customer service is easy if you think of the customers point of view.

This is the best thing that could have happened to downtown Vallejo a lot of people dont have cars. This place is very accessible for them

Store is clean. Prices are based on the area, I think. The new owners need to listen to their employees as what sells. What items are in demand. They are new and the employees have been there longer and have a better repoire with the customers. Im giving them 3 stars. Because they need to listen to their employees.

The Price is Right the music is great Clerks are wonderful, you can always find parking. It is my peace of mind, my outing a friendly place to be.

Clean and easy to find food and they sell them at a great price. You can also find other goods like shampoo, conditioner, curtains, towels, ect. The parking lot is a little small but you can always find parking. And the customer service is good.

The sale clerks are very friendly and helpful. My favorite is Mary very good customer service.
