Got latte several times. Definitely recommend it! They have their own espresso flavor here. The pour over is also the best in the town.;)

This place has the best Matcha! It is a great hangout place to meet up with friends and grab a game to play. I came once to work on homework, but found few outlet seating options that were not high tops. However, this is a must stop place when I find myself in Urbana!

Cool place, but got an oat milk cap and was very disappointed. Water was spraying out of the group head as the espresso pulled way too fast, and she continued to serve it. Milk was burnt as well :/

I have gotten multiple iced lattes and an iced matcha here. Both were awesome! Atmosphere is great for getting work done. Took off 1 star because it is pretty expensive

After getting my nails done, I decided to treat myself to a nitro here! Best nitro I’ve ever had, and the cafe itself looks like a great place to study or go on a daytime date. I’ve also tried out their americano and drip coffee, and the baristas definitely know their stuff.

The herbal iced tea was super yummy, the environment is really nice for having small meetings or getting some work done solo. The baristas are very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. My favorite place to have a small meeting. Support local, go to Cafeteria & Co.! 10/10, I always recommend.

I’ve only been here a few times but every time it was very nice! It’s a nice place to study, do work, read or just hang out & drink some bomb coffee! They have games too if you ever get bored & wanna play!

First time and quite disappointed. Full menu was not available so I ordered an everything bagel and received a plain but I went with it. But Chai tea latte my daughter received was terrible. It was watery with a slight Chai taste. Just tossed. The wait was quite long also. Maybe an off day.

Love this place!! I get the Mac and cheese and an ice mocha, and it’s always great. Perfect environment to get some work done

The baristas are incredibly friendly. I loathe going to coffee shops that snuff at customers, but Cafe & Co. isnt one of those establishments. The staff is social with each other and with their patrons.As far as the coffee is concerned, they offer a wide array of unique specialty drinks that wont quite make you feel like youre OD-ing on sugar. Personally, I prefer plain drinks: pourovers, Americanos, and a cappuccino every now and then. They dont over dilute pourovers and Americanos, which seems to be a trend at the moment.The atmosphere is great. I was taken aback by the name change (formerly Flying Machine Coffee) and the new design, but its fun nonetheless.

A quiet & quaint place. Nice atmosphere. Everything I have ordered has been excellent, but the menu is very small, so Id give 4 stars for now. I hope to see them grow in the future!

Today was my first time going, the barista is sweet, the coffee is amazing, and I enjoyed their double chocolate muffin. I strongly recommend students to study here since Urbana Public Library currently has a strict COVID-19 policy.

Favorite place to study for classes since I discovered it a couple months back. The playlist is chill, baristas are friendly, and the cafe is always clean.

Great space to get coffee and work. Also has a small selection of decent food, and free water. Overall, it is a little pricey, but still often better than Starbucks or something like that. Also, has a cool self of great board games!

Why dont they stay open later?

The barista who was working when I went was very rude. It should be common practice for a coffee shop to train employees to remake drinks for customers who are not satisfied, or to offer an alternative drink if they do not like what they ordered. This is basic customer service. The barista almost refused to make another drink and insisted that I must pay for a second drink if I didnt like the first one. That would have been $12 (!!)Overall I would say this is very poor customer service and I would urge management at Cafeteria and Company to address this. Employees should be working with the mindset that the customer is always right-- but the employee treated me with an aggressive attitude and even rolled her eyes at me multiple times. This made my entire experience at Cafe&Co pretty hostile and uncomfortable.otherwise it seems like a good local business. Im sure if I had come at a different time it would have been more pleasant- however after this experience Im not too sure if I would come back again.

Disappointed for two reasons.The customers: masks are not being worn here by patrons. 3 out of 19 customers were wearing masks, which is not acceptable.The barista also did not make my order as described. Maybe it was a busy morning or plain inexperience. Either way it was not what I ordered. Ill update this review if things change but today I was disappointed.

Lovely space to study and work. Especially in the evening on a weekday, the place quiets down a little, making it the perfect place to get some work done. The cafe also has a bunch of board games in the middle of the room. Their cappuccino is excellent, the music picks makes for good study music, and the art on the wall is gorgeous!

Great place to get some work done and grab a beer when youre done.If Alex is working, make sure to get his signature honey oat latte! Oh he makes a mean A.L.T. too

When here to get some tea for the first time in a long time and it up getting some jasmine tea and sitting at one of the tables that had a lot of outlets I was pretty happy about that I was also happy about the ample amounts of natural sunlight that they had I was able to work on my laptop without too much of a glare but at the same time with a lot of natural lighting to help me stay focused and keep my brain fresh so that I could do well and exceed at the work that I was doing

Nice place to study and great coffee. Some of the equipment they have can be a little loud and the cookie I ordered was definitely over-baked/stale. I wish they were open later.

Great place to hang out and relax/work. Wish they stayed open longer at night. Love the vibe and overall atmosphere. Good coffee too.

The barista is fantastic! Im not really a coffee person, so Im not the right person to comment on the Cappuccino I had. However, the person I met with comes here a lot and absolutely loves the Cappuccino and Latte. For me, this is a great place to work or study. Id recommend!

Coffee and steamer are very good! Not too sweat and not too strong taste!

I used to love coming to this place but a young lady barista that works there has been so incredibly rude to my friends and I. She responded in a condescending way when I had asked a simple question regarding a dietary restriction. Then she proceeded to use a product that I am not able to have without checking it first because she knew she was right. This isnt the first time she responded to me in a way that made me feel really down about asking anything.

The staff is great and the drinks are delicious. Ive heard that the espresso machine is something like 50 years old and was being a bit temperamental. but the staff was super nice and very apologetic; and I got my order after a couple of minutes of adjustments being made.Also, check out the record store in the very back.

The coffee tastes good, but it is way to expensive here. I guess it it ok to treat yourself to pricey coffee once in awhile, but not a place to go on a regular basis.

If youre looking for a place to study, have a coffee and a bite its your place. But if youre out and about to enjoy downtown Urbana and grab a coffee and convo with a friend not so much.
