I had my vehicle towed to the facility that hadn’t been started in several months. Got a diagnostic and was told the issue and got it repaired. It ended up being the starter and now my baby is running like a sewing machine!Brook even warned me about a potential separate issue which I was able to get resolved.

Excellent service! I called a few other transmission shops around town and got the same story, “just bring it in and we’ll check it out”. But then I called Aamco, and I’m glad I did. Brooklyn was awesome. Don’t be fooled when a woman answers the phone. She knows her stuff. She immediately began to tell me what could be wrong, and their past experience with my model of transmission (Ford F150). She clearly explained how they would diagnose my problems and gave me several scenarios of what kind repair could be necessary, and more importantly how she could save me time and money. And that’s exactly what they did. She kept me updated through the process, explained in detail what would be replaced and what it was expected to cost. She even sent photos of the failed parts. I feel very good about the repairs they did, the long term outlook for my transmission, I and am very happy with the amount of the bill. This was my first time to ever have transmission problems and I hope it’s the last, but if not I will very confidently use Aamco and Brooklyn again.

I had some transmission work done here recently. Brooklyn was very knowledgeable and eager to help. Steve also sounds like he knows what hes talking about, and they are both friendly and professional. The quality of the work was great. Considering how busy they are and that they had to order parts for my van, it was done fast. I recommend AAMCO if you can afford to have professionals work on your stuff, and I wish them the best.

Brooklyn and Steve were extremely nice. Brooklyn especially is incredibly knowledgeable and loves to share her knowledge. She will find the problem and fix it. She does not charge you for anything more than what you need. I went in thinking I would need a new transmission (~$3,500 according to my dealership) but she found it to be an engine problem, which ended up being WAY cheaper and fixed it in a day. Very happy and satisfied. Car runs great now.

Drove from Pennsylvania to bring my daughter to school in Tuscaloosa in her 16 year old Acura - and we broke down in the middle of McFarland Ave. We heard a really bad noise and then no more power to the wheels...car was in Drive and wouldnt move. Had it towed to AAMCO on McFarland and it couldnt have been a better choice. I thought for sure it was the transmission and would be thousands of dollars... turns out it was a snapped axle - and the team at AAMCO diagnosed it, got the parts, and fixed it, all in half a day. Couldnt be happier with the service - very professional and only fixed what needed fixing. Highly recommend.

I took my truck to have transmission and high pressure fuel pump put in. They keep my truck for 3 months before I got it back. i had it 4 days and had to take it back to have it worked on again..they had it for a month that time ..I had my truck about 1 month and never did get to drive it. The one time I did the transmission blew a line or something and it burnt my truck to the ground... they are not going to compensate me for my loss even though it is under an 18 month warranty.. they are saying it was my fault..but if they had fixed my transmission right the first time I would not have had to take it back more then once I would not recommend them to anyone!!

I called and spoke with Rick about an issue I was having with my vehicle. He told me to bring it in and he would check it out. I had to place an insurance claim on the problem and Rick handled that as well. He had to go back and forth with the insurance company to get the issue covered but he acted as an advocate for me and was able to get the insurance to go his way to the best of his ability. The crew is great and so far my car is running better than it did before. Do not hesitate to get your car serviced at AAMCO!

I took my truck in because it kept dying on me and the wrench light on the dash would come on so they said that they fixed my transmission and charged me $700. And when I drove away I got a half mile down the road and it quit on me again, that’s when they told me that they ligh tvwas for the fuel pump alarm. So I replaced a $2. Dollar fuse and fixed my problem

My daughter had her check engine light come on and I had her go to OReillys to have the code pulled as I am several hours away.The codes showed a mass air flow sensor issue and two other issues related to the transmission.I knew about the mass air flow as it had thrown that code before and I cleaned the sensor and the code went away.So when it came back I wasnt surprised but the other two codes concerned me greatly.I had her it take it to Aamco based on the reviews and the fact that the owner tried to reply to any negative reviews they had received.She was welcomed and felt comfortable at the shop when she got there this morning.First off they pulled the codes up and told her the transmission ones were old and just showing up in the history which was a major relief.They offered a $99 engine analysis to determine the mass air flow issue(with the $99 going towards labor if needed.)They found some wiring that had corrosion that they cleaned and then test drove the car which allowed the computer to clear the fault.I appreciate their honesty and not trying to take advantage of the situation.Thanks Aamco from a happy dad!

Wonderful repair shop. More helpful than the other transmission shops I called. Cheaper than the dealership. And my Tahoe runs great. These guys are my favorite mechanics. AAAAA++++++

This was a longer process than it needed to be. The man insisted our truck staying even after he fixed a leak in the engine. After spending hundreds of dollars the truck died the very next day and the man came off pushy and intimidating trying to convince us he could fix it again. We ended up having it towed two different times and spent money we shouldnt have. We will not be back and do not recommend this shop.

This company charged us $2,900 for a new transmission that still has issues, AND when we went to pick the vehicle up, informed us that we would need to go immediately to purchase a new battery! I spent $2,900 and he couldnt have recommended a new battery before pick up or installed one for an additional charge??? WHATS WORSE, we recently noticed a stronger vibration in the rear than when we first picked it up, and our serviceman discovered the bolts werent tightened on the U joints! Our rear drive shaft was a few miles from disconnecting, and causing a major accident, as well as irreparable damage to the vehicle! What if this had happened, especially with my 7 year old in the car! Thank the Lord our friend/serviceman took the time to thoroughly inspect, and see the bolts hanging out! DO NOT USE THIS AAMCO! Your life may literally be on the line!

Great job on my transmission rebuild at a decent price.

I took my car to them on 06/03/2016 for them to fix my transmission. My warranty company approved them to fix it on 06/03/2016. Here it is 06/20/2016 and I still havent got my car. Every time I called to check on my car they say it will be done on this day and when I call on that day its wasnt done they told me that several times. Its going on 3 weeks and I still havent got my car. This is the worst service I then every had dealing with any type of business

Left my car here and was never given an estimate. They fixed a $3 fuse for $200. Must not be very good with cars if it took them 2 hours of labor to replace a fuse.

My car was couple weeks ago and my transmission is leaking because they didnt screw the bolts tight to my transmission and now its stuck at my job i paid $164.00 to get service and now its leaking threwout my jobs parking lot!!!!!
