I rarely write reviews, but I came into the N Gloster location this morning to buy balloons, and was met with the worst attitude. I am the most understanding when it comes to being short-staffed or having a bad day, as I’ve worked in customer service for years!I asked the cashier, who was the only employee around (she was busy but I thought she could call someone to help, which she did.) Afterward, I asked the woman who walked up there “I’m not sure if you’re who she just called! (bc I wasn’t sure if she was, or was busy with something else) but I wondered if I could get some help with the balloons?” And with an attitude said “…What about the balloons?” Mind you, we’re still up front near the register, so I assumed we’d walk over to the balloon display so that I could show her which ones I needed… She didn’t move toward them, so I just told her I was hoping to get 15 blown up. Very quickly, she responded with “Well how am I supposed to know which ones you want?” I was getting 3 different designs I had already picked out, so I planned to show her when we walked over to them! I had just told her what I needed help with, surely she didn’t think I was going to leave her to pick out 15 balloons for me! I said “Well, I’m going to show you which ones I want…” We finally walk over to them, and every balloon I had wanted was out of stock, and most of the other ones that were out, had a sign. So she tells me they don’t have that one, that one, or that one… I understand the employees can’t control what they have in stock, but it was certainly more irritating after how I’d just been treated. I drove to the other nearby Dollar Tree location and received much better help.

Great place. My wife bought a buggy full and it didnt cost me a fortune. Will shop here again.

Good cheap place to get everything

Shakesha aka Smiley was just that, she had such a wonderful personality and was kind and welcoming to each customer. This Dollar Tree hasnt seen that in some time cause most of the time employees are rude and short. When the line got long the mgr got up from working to help. Make sure this young lady is acknowledged for her personality!!! 😊

They had exactly what I needed for dyi projects.

Rude. The employees are very rude and loud with customers. They need training in customer service. I visit here a couple times a month and its always the same.

Lots of choices. Bigger than most locations. Fully stocked and clean. Very nice!

There was a line almost to the end of the store (on the inside).There was only one check out person for Bout 15 minutes.They finally added 2 more and we got out in about 5 minutes.Kuddos to the one checkout person!She kept her head and temperperment in check through it a!!

I had a good experience . i found everything i need. And the cashier was real nice.

Oh, The line -the service people just stood around (except 1 who was checking)until the line was almost at the food coolers. The manager, the little blonde walked out several times(now this is when managers usually assist, but she didnt; she must have been on break or something. It looked bad). This went on for over twenty minutes today.

Not enough staff. Long wait.

I always enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree

I love coming to this dollar tree. It has a great selection of things and it always looks good. But after my most recent visit, Im not so sure Id like to return. While I was shopping, one of my babies picked up something and put it back in the wrong place and this woman came up behind me huffing and puffing apparently because she had to pick it up. When I made it to the register, I was telling the cashier about my experience and I learned that that woman was their manager. Horrible manners. I politely let the cashier know about their manager and let them know that I would not be back. Cashier also let me that there have been a lot of complaints about this lady. Dont know how shes still there. That makes me wonder if the District manager knows about the store manager. But besides that, cashier was very nice and friendly and I had a nice experience but will not be back.

Bought some things just now at the North Gloster Tupelo store to help our Youth out at our Church to fill baskets for those in need at Christmas. Feels great to help out. Thank you for having what We needed. Sincerely Janet Benjamin.

This dollar tree has the worst store manager Ive ever encountered. She is RUDE, has the worst attitude, and she does NOT know how to talk to customers let alone her associates. Its horrible. There was a time a while back where she was on her cell phone talking about how she doesnt need a man and something about her kids. Everyone in the store that day probably over heard her conversation Because she was on the floor. I thought that that was ridiculous. And there was this other time, she was extremely rude to a woman whose coupons didnt work and she had to come out and do something. I couldnt believe she was acting in that kind of manner. I think I saw her name tag, Stepanie I believe. She does not need to be working in a customer service environment AT ALL.

I have found some awesome finds for $1. Be careful though, I have also seen some of the same things less than $1 elsewhere.

I couldnt even shop because the employee (Viola) followed me from the time I entered the door. Talk about being profiled. I wasnt too dressed up the day I went since I was just getting ready for my vacation. I didnt know you had to wear a suit & tie to a dollar store. I figure thats why she started following me. I Didnt end up buying anything but some nail polish since I didnt feel at all welcome in the store. She didnt ask if I needed any help or anything just proceeded to follow me on every aisle I went on. It was ridiculous!

Time to be updated. Was upset how empty shelves were for Valentines stuff.

I was visiting family in Tupelo and upon entering the store, got to hear the most interesting conversation within the 3 employees at the register doing absolutely nothing...one was cackling so loud, i could hear it from Chicago...the other was about 400 lbs and decided to talk about how her thighs were sore...and how they got sore....barf....totally unprofessional trash for employees.
