Marks Ace Hardware team exemplifies customer service...not because of what they did, but the attitude with which they did it. This afternoon I needed to exchange a defective toilet seat purchased less than 24 hours prior. Because this is an item that cannot be returned, I expected a standoff. Instead, Ashely was on the radio to a manager before I reached the counter. Bobby arrived quickly and said I should pick out another; no questions asked. WOW 1X! Turns out, the same toilet seat was not available. So a refund was the only option. Bobby suggested I check the other Marks Ace Hardware on Campbell at Glenn. However, I had used a 25% off coupon and didnt want to sacrifice my $10 savings. Thats when supervisor Zion appeared and said he would credit me the full retail price. WOW 2X! On top of that, he gave me another coupon. WOW 3X! I dont know if this customer-centric approach has something to do with the pandemic, is rooted in holiday spirit or simply the service culture at Marks Ace Hardware. But I intend to find out...Zion, Bobby and Ashley won my business!

I called ahead to see if they had a tire iron, they said yes without checking first. I got an Uber to go purchase it as I had a flat, I arrived to of course an ace with out a tire iron or even a cross bar. The employees didnt care the old bald guy was usless.

They have humane mouse traps (Havahart). The big stores didnt have their selection. If you sign up for Ace rewards, they give a coupon for 15% off your next purchase. The coupon was helpful because I had to use it.

Great Ace Hardware, everybody wanted to help and thats the one great thing about Ace Hardwares you can always find someone to help you and they do it as if they want to help you, at the big box stores if you ask for help its like pulling teeth. At Ace you get that personal customer service and the cashier, cant remember her name but was outstanding in her customer service. Thanks Ace Hardware. Great team Mark.

There is one thing at this store that really stands out. You cant walk two aisles and someone asks are you finding everything okay. I can name a few others where you have to search for help. Good job.

As long as ace has what I need i will always get it there. Doesnt matter if other stores have it cheaper because thats how well they take care of you here.My nephew wasnt paying attention, knocked over a $45 pot and broke it. They were so kind and understanding, they didnt make us pay for it.Then we wanted to purchase a few things with a coupon but it wasnt valid until the following day. We offered to come back the next day but they when ahead and applied the coupon anyways.They are phenomenal and treat you like family 11/10

Front cashier greeted me. I needed to replace a craftsman wrench under warranty. He called another gentleman to come and walk me over to the tools. They helped me pick out a replacement no questions asked. Good to see a company stand behind the products they sell. This was the experience I would expect from an ACE hardware store. I went to two ACE stores before this one one didn’t have my wrench size in stock and the other completely refused to honor the warranty policy of the product they sell. This store on the other hand was really great to work with. They took care of me without hesitation. Will be returning.Both employees were knowledgeable and friendly. Huge contrast and step up from the store in green valley where I was passed around and finally taken to owner who stated “we don’t honor the warranty here” .If you find yourself disappointed with your local ACE, going to Mark’s ACE is worth the drive.

We had a screen door re screened bye personnel at this store and were less than happy when our door returned bent and terribly twisted . The personnel said it would be ok when installed . This sounded odd but we took it home and gave it a try . The door would not function with this large twist and bend so we returned it and the personnel agreed it was INCORRECTLY screened and would have it redone . When it was returned the was installed incorrectly again and the door frame still had a large bend the clerk apologized and offered a refund . I would not recommend this store for rescreening . We are left with little choice but to buy a new one since using the screening service here

I had placed a pick up item online and didnt realize how close i was to this place. instead of waiting for their ordering system to complete the order the manager manually pulled what I ordered and got me on my way very quickly instead of waiting. I appreciate that tremendously

I brought in a floor lamp with a special bulb. It was stuck and I could not get it out. Zion an employee was so kind and helpful I needed to give him a special THANK YOU!! Lamp is working great.

Extremely disappointed. Have been shopping this location for 2 years with excellent service, until today. Floor staff neither greeted me or offered any help, instead they followed me as if I was a shoplifter. Likewise the cashier didn’t greet me, ask if I found what I was looking for, or thank me. Instead she was short and rushed tho there was no one behind me. I go to Ave specifically for the service, if that changes Lowe’s is down the street.

The associates here were and are always very helpful in finding what I need... often more than what is needed.It was at this location, that we even found out that they do many community involved things. Example: during the holidays they do a donation program. You can give back to the community by choosing a donation package, that is gifted to the less fortunate, at a discounted price to you. The packages were things that are needed for cooler weather. I know Marks Ace Hardware does this, unsure of other franchises.They also support other local business. With things from honey to other local vendor/business services.This is why I like shopping with Ace.

Normally you pay a lot more at certain hardware stores. Its for the service & duly note that it is really worth it when you need it! This place was like the typical Ace when it came to service (Johnny helped me find it & rang me up quick)! But the prices were not, much more comparable to the big box stores. Good place here!

I love Ace in general. Their prices arent always the cheapest but man do they have such a good variety of hardware. This store in particular is immaculate. The staff here is exceptionally helpful and friendly. I cant say enough good things about this location. Keep up the good work.

Had a bad experience trying to return something I ordered online. The store was lying and making up policies as I was standing there.

I visited on 3.24.19 to get a window replaced. I had an interaction with every staff member and everyone was knowledgeable helpful and awesome. I wish I knew their names but they deserve a shout out! Great Customer Service Great Store. :)

I went in completely clueless and left happy, more knowledgeable and very confident in my irrigation project thanks to Zion. He is an outstanding worker and obviously passionate about his job. It was days like this that I really love Tucson.

I prefer to go to Ace hardware over those big box stores, you can always find someone willing to help you, show you exactly where things are and answer questions about anything you need help with. Only downside is the slightly higher prices but its worth it when you get the best customer service. Will always go here

Very helpful. I asked Safeway about a refrigerator light. None there. Go to Ace found them. Needed to find a way to affix door bell. They gave me Velcro but its not sticking together. Need to go back but way too hot today- 107 degrees

This Ace is fantastic. Not only do they have most things - if they dont,they will tell you where to get it. Staff are all experienced and have helpful tips. One time my belt loop needed a notch. Nick found a leather punch and tailored my outfit. I went in w/ ill fitted pants. Left in GQ shape. A new experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Did not have a good experience at this ACE. There are some items that are not allowed to be returned and it is not clearly advertised. I didnt realize this until it was printed on the receipt which is AFTER it was purchased. Their reasoning was shady for not allowing a return on this item saying that a bunch of other customers were returning them. I would think is a sign that maybe they shouldnt carry these items... I was fortunately able to return the item to another ACE as it did not work for my situation. This ACE just simply didnt care and appeared to be just after a sale. Kinda sad but that was my experience. I wish there was more transparency for others, and maybe this review will help.

Very welcoming and easy to find what you are looking for. The layout of the store is well thought out. The staff is more than happy to help you find what you are looking for, and the staff is quite knowledgeable about the items they stock. Easy to get in and out of. Lots of wonderful choices of cold beverages to choose from on your way out the door.

Marks ACE is fun to shop- the popcorn machine mid store is a great little perk. Downside for me is selection. The prices are always at least a couple bucks more than the big box stores such as Home depot or Lowes. If you are not tackling a big project or you dont mind spending a little more - supporting local businesses is a good way to go. Also I like the fact (if I know exactly what I need) I can get in and out in a hurry at this particular location.

This is my second favorite location in town. I do not live close to it but will gladly go out of my way to visit. Not only do they have a really nice set up, they have awesome staff. The ladies know my dad and I as soon as we walk in and they are always smiling. My dad likes to tease, as older guys tend to, and they are always on top of the humor and never miss a beat. I appreciate that they play along with him because so many people just dont get it.I was in earlier today (4/22/2018) and the young lady behind the counter was very helpful. Another asked why my dad wasnt with me. You dont get service like that other places.

I typically will always go to Ace over the other big box stores but I have to say, I will drive the extra time in order to go to this Ace. The people who work there go above and beyond in trying to help you find everything you need for your project. They are unbelievably knowledgeable about all types of home projects large and small. It is not just one employee but everyone that I have encountered are amazing.

New store with a very complete inventory. The prices are not the cheapest in Tucson but you get what you pay for. Im sick of the big box stores where have half of their inventory has been opened and in some cases had parts removed. The employees are there for you and quite helpful. I love one stop shopping.

Mostly positive visits to this ACE. The only issues are with the debit card reader and the limited variety of some products. Employees are friendly and helpful. Im there often enough that we count my daily visits.

Went in specifically for cleaning supplies. Huge assortment of supplies. From commercial options to residential. I like natural products and they always have what I am looking for. This location also has a huge soda pop section. Of unusual types of pop sodas. From the basics to creative. Staff is friendly and prices are fairly equal to lowes. I purchased myers cleaning product and a black cherry soda pop and went on my way!

They did what no other store could do. Ill be doing more shopping here and hey RV folks, they make RV keys. Not all, but most!

Went in for some nuts and small bolts a real nice helper helped me but I guess he got distracted because my order was short several items and he didnt write part numbers down so I could get a refund for saud items guess I should have paid more attention to what he was doing for me

Even though I didnt find what I was looking for I was immediately helped. And when one person couldnt figure it out they called for help. Three employees were kind and super helpful with trying to understand what I needed. They even referred me to another store and called that store to make sure they carried what I needed. The floor staff is often helpful. Front staff usually clueless . I shop here regularly for items I know they carry. Staff needs better knowledge in order to be more helpful. I shop local so I am glad its a family business. Not the best resource if I need help. Convenient and clean store.
