I have used this company many times over the years. I used to go to them when they where at Oracle and Ina. Like the fact that they are at Oracle and Rodger now. They are much closer for me now. Great place to have all your files and info transferred when you buy a new computer, or if for some reason you get a virus, or something gets locked on your screen. They are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They do seem a little on the higher end of price, but I keep going to them.

I think the computer stores great these guys are picking up the slack from where is the big warehouse computer stores like Frys Electronics are not in existence anymore I think its more tailored and they know what theyre doing so go check them out and get your computer ready set up, repaired or brand new builds gaming or business.

This place used to have exceptional customer service, however during my visit the guy at the desk couldnt seem to be bothered to show good customer service qualities, had shown up attempting to purchase ram for an older system, which they didnt have in stick and thats understandable. But when I wanted to upgrade the storage space in my higher end Omen system I had a question about which storage media it supported the guy instantly acted like I was becoming a hassle and as if he had other customers I was preventing him from serving (it was only myself, my friend and 1 other employee in the store) charged me $25 bucks to do a 2 minute Google search.I ended up purchasing a WD Blue SSD and a Mid-Tier (at best) Smart home router which was priced 30 bucks higher than the MSRP, all in all spent approximately $385 dollars in addition to the $25 dollar research fee.My overall experience was not great, the rep struggled to explain simple differences, couldnt be bothered and acted as if it was a big ordeal to look up a simple product request. There are way better places that Ive dealt with. The fact that I get better customer service at Best Buy speaks volumes, and for this reason I am giving 1 star for this review.TLDR; A customer should not be made to feel small and insignificant, and should not be made to feel as theyre wasting the stores time, for basic upgrades.

Excellent service, trustworthy, reasonable cost, prompt, never condescending or pushy. My mother lives in Tucson and is not tech savvy; I live out of town and am not tech savvy. I have relied on Computer Revival to work on her equipment for a few years (they used to be Computer Renaissance) and we have always been happy with there work. They go to her home, fix every thing, and call me for billing.On the last visit, the tech either didnt know or didnt impress on me, the amount of data that the computer would burn through for updates. We had to double our data plan and then shut down the computer within an hour of starting updates. I would never trust anyone who seams to perfect.I am still very happy with Computer Revival and will continue to trust them in the future.

If I could give a minus 5 stars it would be closer to what I think about this place. I called because I thought the power button was beginning to fail on my laptop. I was told to bring it in and they would look at the switch and determine if parts were available for a fix. They told me there would be NO charge to just look at it. I took it in, the guy turned it off and on a three times, had another employee (supposedly a computer tech) turn it off and on, blew a couple of dust particles from the keyboard after he had just got through telling how meticulously I took care of my computer, and charged me $20. They spent less than 3 minutes on the computer, did NO work but still charged me $20 after they told me it would be free. The tech who turned it off and on one time was the one who said it would be free!! Of course they did say if there was anything else they could do to the computer the $20 would apply but they would have to run diagnostics for a non-refundable fee of $60. My computer runs fine so this would be another way to rip me off for more money for nothing! This place is a giant rip off. I would never, never take anything here, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

Do not believe any of these fake good reviews. This business/location is utterly fraudulent in what they’re doing on almost all fronts.First I want to preface this review with the fact that I just got off the phone with the “Store Manager” James who felt it was appropriate to literally scream at me for a disagreement I had with his practice. This isn’t an exaggeration. Literal screaming.Let me reiterate, the store manager here will not hesitate to YELL and SCREAM at you if he disapproves of any issue you take with his obviously shady service. It’s unbelievable to the point of being humorous.My disagreement came from his trading policy. I went to trade in a very expensive Laptop, and was offered ~8% of what it’s original retail cost was, which is totally fine. I wasn’t expecting a lot. They looked at it, played with it, documented specs, and so on. I signed a contract and everything and was promised a check in the mail after a week.A couple days later they call to tell me that the laptop is defective and broken, and they can no longer take it. When I ask them what was broken? He says they cannot tell me unless I pay $80 for a diagnostic test, even though that’s what they did to “discover” that it was broken.So let me get this straight, I sign a contract, leave my laptop in your possession for a couple days, only to hear from you that it’s broken, you actually won’t take it, and you’ll only tell me how it’s broken unless I pay a ludicrous fee...yeah OK. Look at some of the other 1* reviews and you’ll see similar experiences in terms of “diagnostic fees” and shady policies on how they deal with this stuff.When I called in to question the shady nature of this transaction, the store manager yelled at me over the phone for almost 10 minutes non-stop about how I can take my opinion and shove it. I remained perfectly calm, yet firm about how I believed this to be a rather shady practice, and he continued to escalate his already out of control mannerisms until eventually I finally hung up due to his exhaustive screaming...I don’t want anyone to have to experience this kind of apparent wretched standard of customer service, because it was not pleasant, and I’m sorry I ever took a chance on this place for my needs. Take my advice, and take your business elsewhere. This location wants to twist and take advantage of you, it was extremely apparent in the way they dealt with my transaction. Good luck everyone.DO NOT go here. I swear to you, honestly, for your own consumer safety.

This place wants 80$ (double what geek squad charges) to install a FREE OS, that literally takes minutes to download, and the tool does all the work. All you need to do after mounting the flash drive, is plugging it into the new computer thats receiving the installation.Im not sure why theres so many uninformed consumers, that makes this business think it can rip them off, but go elsewhere.The guy I talked to admitted that you can order off MS a flash drive with the OS to install for 30$. So he tacitly admitted hes completely over inflating the price.Steer clear, unless you want to over pay.

I bought a refurbished computer from Bill, who was very helpful and pleasant. I couldnt get it going on, so I called James (store mgr) who was also stellar in trying to resolve my problem on the phone. Today I took it back to the store with my monitor and Michael taught me something new (like, where to put the plugs)!I recommend this store to anyone who wants to use a computer and has some anxiety about it. Now, Im at home sipping coffee and typing away.I would recommend making this comment process easier! It took longer than the entire sale!

Beyond awful. No manager should ever, ever, ever yell at a customer. Never. The first few days I called and the salesman was superb. I just called and he was like a split personality from sweet, helpful and kind to he did not care one iota. You see the receipt says, no they wont tell you, that after seven days you are on your own. You only bought a monitor (and a mouse and speakers) from us we dont owe you any technical support! Yeah? What about cultivating a customer? DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!!

The staff here was great. I went online to see what they carried, I called about their products and other questions I had. I went in 2/28/19, Michael P assisted me. I was looking for a used PC (which is what I wanted for my budget) he directed me to what was available. I had a few choices, he suggested an ASUS Essentio Series, which I did decide to buy. Got a great warranty and two used DELL monitors too. My goal was to pay no more than $700 and I got everything for $500. I also searched online with Dell, HP etc. I am sooooo glad I decided to check out Computer Revival. I didnt have to pay for shipping or wait. Got to go home with something that day!

Beware of the 20% restocking fee – Paying for something you do not need.Prices are reasonable and service seems competent but when something you purchase from them does not end up solving your problem and you bring it back for a refund, they charge a 20% restocking fee unless you exchange it for something of equal or higher value. Frankly, that devalues the merchant in my book. The manager of the store said that they do that because some customers use an item for a short term purpose and want their money back when they’re done. My item was never removed from the package and I had no desire to purchase anything else. I dont recall being subjected to restocking fees at other Tucson retailers though Im sure there are more that charge them. Many retailers undoubtedly have similar issues and choose more customer friendly ways of managing them. Ive had good experiences with Computer Renaissance in the past but Ill choose to do business in the future with a local retailer who does not make me pay for something I do not need.

Stopped by to see what they had and a RUD jerk with a sky hat on asked me if he could help. I was looking for a desktop but at the time he approached me I was looking at laptops I asked him if they had an i7 desktops built he look at me with this blank stare like he didnt even know what I was talking about and then rudely told me what I was looking at were laptop not desktops what an ass. I bought a computer from them a year ago and got good service but after today I will never stop in or buy anything from them.

I went to Computer Renaissance to purchase anti virus software. Was going to buy AVG Internet Security. The Store Manager asked me if I wanted them to install it and run all of the updates. I was with my son and took him to get something to eat, came back and the store manager had the software installed and ready to go. I thought that there would be a charge to install the software and he said no. He said if I ever needed to have it reinstalled over the 2 year license to come back and they would install it for free again. Will definately use this business in the future.

THE WORST! we dropped off a laptop as it would not connect to the wifi on 02/20. the motherboard was supposedly CORRUPT! BULL!!!!!! the wiped the computer, sent it back with NOTHING ON IT!!!!!! and charged us $180.00!!!!!!! when all it was it happened to be the wifi button that they FINALLY told us about 03/12/2014, was off!!!!!! we are turning them over to the BBB!

My experience at Computer Renaissance was nothing short of amazing!Saturday my computer stopped working, and after panicking, making many calls for help, I brought it to Computer Renaissance. Mike Prokop, the person receiving my pc, asked me a few questions, diagnosed the problems on the spot, replaced and repaired a part, and off I went!!! He also explained every procedure he was doing, in a language I could understand. Mike is a consummate professional. The price was fair, and my computer is working wonderfully. Dont waste your time calling around like I did.

Currently on hold, the man who answered my call has been rude and short. Not sure if the rest of staff is like this. Answered the phone with simply Computer Renaissance. No hello you have reached, or how may I help you. Then, I was abruptly put on hold without being notified of it. However, when this mystery man returned to the phone he seemed to have a different attitude. While they do have what I am looking for, as a consumer I would have appreciated better treatment and the first impression left a bad taste in my mouth.

I would not recommend computer revivial at all ! i took my sons old laptop in there (it needed a new fan ) and it was not functioning properly they said it would need hundreds of $ of repairs and even a new motherboard ! I was suspicious and took it to Continental Computer service on St Marys and they fixed it right ! computer revival, repair service (formerly known as computer renaissance ) in tucson claimed it needed extensive repairs - like a new mother board, etc hundreds of $ for the repair ! what a rip off ! then i took it into Continental Computer Services and they found it just had corrupted software ! no mechanical issues at all, NO hardware issues ! $90 total charge and it has worked flawlessly ever since ! cant recommend them enough ! youre paying for expertise not a high rent district storefront ! give the otherfolks a shot you will be happy ! stay away from computer revival ! neil

This shop is more of a software repair shop. I made an appointment for them to look at a Lenovo Thinkpad with a faulty screen at 8:30 AM on December 23. They said that they would look at it and get back to me within the day. I heard no reply and called back at noon of the 26th (closed only on Christmas Day) and was told that it was next on the bench and they would get back to me within 2 hours. At 4:00, I called again and was told that the technician was working on it and I would receive a call from him within 30 minutes. At 5:30, I finally drove to the shop and retrieved the laptop, paid the $60 bench fee and took it elsewhere. These people wont work unless you constantly harass them in person or over the phone.

I was going to bring in a truck load of old printers screens ect. This company resells and recycles them for their basic materials, like the gold in older circuit broads. however they were going to charge ME 5-10 bucks just so they could plug them in to see if they worked!same guy comp redasissance, please hold while I find my beerreally it costs literally nothing to recycle old computers, infact thats their main profit!Id rather pay $10 to put this stuff in the dump, at least they wont turn around and make 100s!
