First time customer. Sometimes I can be hard to deal with. Bought items ended up having to return them and had no problem whatsoever. Nice guy, will definitely shop here again. I will also recommend to friends.

The people working there are friendly. However, I have a Luxury car with star button. It came with a car alarm from factory. I want it to have a remote start so they installed an alarm with remote star about $600. Since then it being a nightmare. 1st they burned the ignition computer; so I have no car for a week; 2nd the alarm was not working right. I have engine codes populated high current in B break circuit( my brake lights were on all the time) I figure out myself by disconnecting the alarm cable from the break switch circuit (that fixed) however now the alarm does not remote star. It is being one issue after another. If you have an old car you will be OK but if you have a luxury car do not risk it. This was my first time and last.

Carlos professionally installed my new stereo with no problem in a short amount of time. I will return to Car R IS Audio to replace window tint on front passenger windows.

This place is convenient location. I have been to other car audio stores such as The Specialist and Audio Express and the customer service is unbelievable. I had my Alarm system installed at Cars R Us and they installed in on a timely manner. Which is always a plus in my books. I went back months later to modify some of the settings for my alarm and once again, these guys took care of me. No questions ask. These guys are perfectionist and I know the job will get done the correct way and I will not have any issues down the road. I would recommend others to come here and once I am ready to upgrade my stereo system, I know where I am going.

What can I say about this place besides Excellent! Their service is unmatched with any other car installation place in Tucson Car R Us blows the competition away no doubt. WARNING WARNING WARNING Please read this entire post before you do ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYThis Business is very unprofessional They may have Cheaper prices but their work is also very substandard and they do not stand by their work HERE WAS MY EXPERIENCE IN DETAILI took My 2007 HD 2500 Duramax in to get an Alarm installed and had problems with it from the very 1st day . My hood sensor was showing on my display and my remote start wasnt working at all, So I returned my truck and Carlos worked on it and said it was all fixed and good to go.2 Days later I had no Tail lights no windshield wiper and no working headlights and the hood sensor was on in my display again!!! Very frustrating when you cannot drive down the road legally at night. I work out of state and had to rig small red lights on my tail lights just to get back to Az. Called and made arrangements to return truck to THE shop on a Monday Drove all the way from New Mexico showed up Monday and was told Carlos is off on Mondays after I already scheduled my truck to be worked on.At this point I could not wait for this to be resolved I took my Truck to the Specialist on Wetmore road where they got my truck right in and had to completely rewire my entire truck, it was pointed out to me that the connectors that were used by Car R Us Audio were the cheapest kind you can get and not only that but the wiring inside was exposed and touching other words and taped in a ball which presented a MAJOR UNSAFE FIRE HAZZARD .The hood sensor kept going off because there was never one installed wow they had 2 chances to figure that one out but could not .So I ended up paying the Specialist $350 for all their work and my Truck is absolutely problem free now.I returned to speak with the manager about just refunding the $350 To me for what I had to pay to get it fixed right not even asking for the labor they charged me to incorrectly install and mess up the entire wiring system on my truckThe manager refused to compensate me in any way and stated I should of brought the truck back to them if I wanted it fixed . Well Mr Manager at this point Im glad I did not return my truck to you and I hope that by submitting this post I can warn as many people I can to stay as far away from Car R Us Audio !!!!!!!!!!!!!Very upset Customer

After shopping around Tucson High and Low for good prices, i finally found this place.I walked in, asked to get my satellite radio installed and all my windows tinted. Exited after receiving a really reasonable price,(About 35% less than anybody else).couple hours later it was all done.i havent had any complaints and have recommend this shop to multiple friends.

Had a very good experience when first dealing with this shop as I dropped in to get a quote on an upgrade to my speakers for my factory installed sound system on my 5 year old car. I ended up scheduling an upgrade with them and the work was performed as expected within the time given. The end result was great sound and a warranty on their work, until I showed up 6 months later. I stopped in to have them double check my speaker connections as I thought maybe a channel was out. The guy never checked if I was a customer, poked his head in the window and listened for maybe 3 seconds and said it was fine no problem. My upgrade for the rest of my sound system will be done elsewhere.

Great shop. I bought a new stereo and a week later decided to upgrade and the owner did not charge me for a restore fee, or for install of the new stereo. They even installed a few accessories I bought somewhere else for free and installed a by pass switch for when the DVD player is on the parking break doesnt need to be engaged, I didnt even have to ask. Very friendly. I would highly recommend.

Just had my Polk Audio front component speaker installed by them. Very professional and quick to! He even went the extra mile and changed my brake light lightbulbs because they had burned out. He treated my truck like a baby! Was extremely careful taking off the door panels and explained everything! I will definitely be back when I decided to replace my rear speakers! All in all I was very happy with the install!!

Aww man! This place is a TOTAL RIP-OFF!!, so I saved up got a good focal system together and figured I give a local guy some of my business, big mistake! Dude blows out my 500$ speakers,and wanted me to replace them and take them back to him for the 3rd time, my head unit doesn’t work anymore,he refused to make things right avoiding my attempt to contact, no respect or honor on his work.very shady, taking the money and run kinda dude.during the day and a half that he had my vehicle he also was supposed to detail it as well, worse detailing Ever! How in the world is this guy still in business?I would never recommend this place,if you don’t want to lose you hard earned money,DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!

Ok at first glance you may be a little pessimistic but I can assure you quality service. The Specialist has the Tucson Tinting industry monopolized but if youre willing to stop in and see these floks theyll hook you up! Got my GS350 that titnted up for much less than anywhere else in town!!!

If you are thinking about visiting this place because of a cheaper quote, save your self the time and hassle of dealing with amateurs and idiots. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to have the job done right by professionals. The owner was a pretty friendly guy until he got my money and I complained about the sloppy job they had done. I gave them a second chance to correct the mistake and I thought the first job was bad until I saw the second try. I was then thinking I should have stayed with the first botched tint job. this shop is definitely not in the customer service or satisfaction business but more about doing sloppy work with no regards for your vehicles well being and taking your money. When the owner found out he couldnt intimidate me and saw I was equipped to talk with my hands he offered to give me my money back and I told him I didnt want my money back, I wanted my windows tinted properly. Long story short unless you like wasting time and money, go to a reputable business to have what ever you are thinking about letting these guys do because Car R Us Audio should be called Amateur R Us.

This place is horrible. Not only do they not open on time, but the intaller showed up late with a 4 year old, toys and all, in tow. I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for someone to show up for my appointment. Called the owner, hes like um, ya, hell be there soon . Think the intsller came back out of the shop after he went in to let me know he was ready for me? NOPE. Owner calls me back to see if the guy is there. Im like ya, but I dunno if hes ready for me. The open sign is still off and he never came back out. Owner actually told me I should not be upset. No apology from anyone. I drove away. No way a person who cannot show up on time for opening their business is gonna touch my car.

Amazing service, really fast and even put the t.v on for my wait, new paint job and didnt even need to worry about it being scratched, I will defiantly recommend cars r us to anyone who ask!

Been going to this store for about for just over 5 years. The owner always treats me with respect. The most difficult problems in the world they always fix it from changing radios to another car having supplies on hand. And work I do recommend them.

(Updated see bottom) Im not sure how everyone finds this place so great, Im guessing there are just no legitimate car audio shops in Tucson and this is where people turn to. I brought my car there to have door speakers put in and a bass control knob. When I got in the car after the work was done the entire center console above my head unit was scratched to hell as well as all the spots they used to pop the plastic off. When I saw the scratches I grabbed the owner and asked him why my interior was so scratched up, he tried telling me that whoever owned the car prior to me had painted the console and they didnt use the correct primer. He then tried to paint over the scratches with a paint that was far from matching and it looked terrible so I demanded it be replaced. He stormed off but said he would replace it. I chalked that whole experience up to maybe they it was just a bad day and returned there yesterday to have a new sub box installed, they installed it but the box whistles from where the subs are seated, when I asked the owner he said he had no idea why it was making that sound and didnt even attempt to try and reseal it. I even offered to pay him extra. Also while I was waiting I ran into someone that I had met last time while in their shop. He had a head unit put in and seemed a bit upset, I told him about my experience and showed him my scratched console, and he had the exact same thing happen in his car, all around where the stereo was installed it was scratched. I would strongly suggest finding a different car audio shop. (Update): they just installed the new cubby storage assembly today, looks a lot better. It took more persistence in pushing the matter than I would like to admit, which is a bit upsetting. Took about a month to finally get the problem resolved but I will upgrade the rating I gave them

All lies they dont know the systems original wiring so they go off basics not paying attention to detail can ruin ur electrical..these guys suck

I had a problem with my car thought it could had been the alarm came they disconneced it and they assured me it was not the problem went to a mechanic it was actually the the starter so got that fixed came back they reconnected the alarm at no charge they really hook it up here will come with my other car to install a stereo
