After an unexpected flood from the monsoon rains my rug, and rug pad were ruined. I knew it was time to buy a better quality rug, anyway! My dad and I visited when I was still thinking about making this purchase and we’re impressed with the selection of rugs. I went in today with my mom and right away, the owner Tomas was knowledgeable, kind and made the experience fun to find the rug that fit my price range and taste. I was worried I wouldn’t find something in my price range but I’m so glad I did! It was fun to see all the different rugs and hear about the history of them. Bought 4 rugs in 2017 from Asian Trade. Customer service was excellent. Salesman flipped over 100 rugs so I was able to see their whole selection. I was treated with respect and nobody was pushy to purchase. Their rugs have held up excellent! Their thick carpet pads make waking on the rugs super plush. I would 100% recommend Asian Trade. I will go back very soon for a cleaning.

This company and all the staff are just incredible. We recently had some water damage in our casita that left a large wool rug soaking up water for over two weeks. The staff was very helpful over the phone. They explained their cleaning process in detail. Explained the fees/services. They explained why their cleaning process was better and did less damage to wool runs than the common place steam cleaning services that come to your house.We ended up cleaning 8 rugs/runners for our entire house. We also did some repairs on a rug that had been damage when our dog was just a puppy trying out his new teeth. Two young men came to the house remeasured the rugs, moved the furniture, and took the rugs to the shop.A little over two weeks later, all eight rugs were cleaned and repaired. The same two young men returned the rugs, moved all the furniture, placed the rugs exactly as my wife wanted them. The rugs so clean they simply shine when any light hits them. The large wet rug is beautiful; with no sign it ever had water damage. The rug repairs are perfect !!Incredible service !! Friendly and courteous staff !! The best method to clean any rugs wool/poly. So much better than just running a steam vac over your rugs.

Over the past 5 years, I have bought at least 8 hand knotted rugs from this company. I am very impressed by the frankness and honesty of Tomas, one of the owners. I got a 6x9 Indian rug for 500 dollars, and they have anniversary sales every year. Come give it a look if only to ogle the goods!They do qualified repair work on rugs as well. Probably the best place in the city for that, though it doesnt come cheap.

I was intrigued by the line of Gabbeh rugs on their website. Hanna helped me to find what might work. She was delightful: so knowlegeable and nice. She also quickly grasped what I was looking for. Found a gorgeous Gabbeh rug for my living room. Plus, it was a really good value for a handmade rug. Then, I was also able to add on two stunning antique Kilim pillows which they filled to my exact firmness. Amazing experience all the way around!!

Mr. Kasra Massarat helped me today in reviewing the written and photographed appraisal of Persian Rugs. Although they had not done the initial appraisal, was generous with his time. I needed an update for insurance purposes. I was warmly greeted when I entered the store by one of the employees who later went to locate the owner in order for him to review my documentation.

Very pleased with my experience. I went in to discuss selling or the consignment of two rugs. The owner was very knowledgable and helpful when setting a price. The staff from the gentlemen who carried the rugs in to the Store Manager who helped me with the consignment agreement were professional and easy to work with.

We cant say enough good things about this business. Not only did they do a great job cleaning a dhurrie rug for us, but Ali, their master carpet repair man, repaired a treasured rug for us after we thought it had been destroyed by the dry cleaners. The rug, a remnant from the old Mountain Oyster Club downtown, was torn in several places when we foolishly sent it to be dry cleaned. From now on we will only take our rugs to Asian Trade Rug Company for any cleaning or repairs. I am including a photo of the repaired rug, as well as photos of the holes that Ali repaired.

Just moved to Tucson and needed some rugs for our new home. We were not at all sure what we wanted. Hannah at the Asian Rug Trade company was just the person to see us through the selection process . Her expert design experience and excellent listening skills really helped us make selections that go beautifully in our home. We could not be happier. We appreciated her straight forward approach. There was no pressure and she was happy to let us have the rugs at no cost for us to try living with them for a few days before we made final selections. Feeling like youre getting the best price at rug stores is always a bit of a challenge, but Hannahs straight forward and open approach helped and we felt comfortable with the pricing we received. Took my small square Middle Eastern rug in to be cleaned and repaired they did an outstanding job. I also was able to purchase the perfect pad to go under the rug so that it would not slide and to protect the rug itself. This is the best place in Tucson to get your rugs cleaned. I have gone with multiple companies and not one has left my area rug the way they have left it. The previous company i had clean my rug said the white on my rug was stained and nothing could be done. When i received my rug back this week it looked NEW, seriously NEW!. The white shines again and is so fluffy and soft. I am 10000% satisfied with this company and will definitely be back when needed of another cleaning, keep in mind i have a Siberian Husky that loves to lay on the rug and is super happy to have it back nice and clean. Asian Trade is the best! Not only is their selection absolutely incredible, but their staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Recently we got a puppy and he apparently likes rugs too! This was my first time purchasing rugs and I found the entire experience to be very positive. I received a patient basic crash course education in how rugs from around the Asian continent are made and how they differ by region and the process of weaving and knotting them, and what makes some more expensive than others etc. I didnt feel any pressure to purchase anything. Everyone from the owner to the manager to the delivery assistants was friendly and transparent and willing to help find something for pretty much any budget and need. I would recommend anyone who is curious about rugs to drop in and have a look around.

Excellent service, excellent results, good prices. What more can one ask? A tomato-based hot sauce was spilled on a naturally colored expensive wool oriental rug. Looked as if we would be stuck with a red spotted rug. ATRC washed and then spot cleaned it to perfection. Honestly, it looks as good as when we bought it at an auction in 1982, so much so we may not let anyone walk on it again. Perfect job. Without any hesitation, we recommend this family business.

Moved from New York City to Tucson and had a vegetable dyed hand made carpet from Nepal that needed cleaning. I was nervous about sending this carpet out to a Company I did not know. After speaking to the owner I felt assured my carpet would receive the best of care. I took the leap and could not have been happier. Asian Rug Co did a wonderful job. My carpet looked like new. To further their service, the delivery team spent time placing the rug in the room in just the right position. I have since sent a Turkish carpet for cleaning and again could not be happier with the results. This is a great company with a great service minded staff. I highly recommend this company.

Asian Trade Rug Company recently cleaned our large, light colored wool area rug. We had a dark pet stain on it and they were able to get it out. They picked up the rug from our home, cleaned it and returned it, all within one week. Their pick-up and delivery men were professional, polite and courteous. The guys were great about carefully moving our furnishings off of the rug when picking up and then putting everything back exactly where it had been when delivering the clean rug. My sister-in-law and I came in to get several rugs shipped from Tucson to Washington, DC and Minnesota. We originally came here because we reached out to several local businesses in advance and Asian Trade Rug Company was responsive and informative. We were transporting the rugs from my father-in-laws estate and they were simple rugs but very important to us. Tomas was extremely personable and he and his staff took extra great care to wrap them carefully and ship them safely. Tomas even took the time to explain how to care for the rugs on the different flooring in our homes. We felt the service here was above and beyond, and the prices were very reasonable. We would absolutely do business here again.

This is the BEST business of its kind. Not only do they do expert cleaning and repairs on any size, shape, or material of rugs, but they also have a huge fine rug selection. I recently had two of my rugs cleaned here....they were quite soiled and they came back to me like they were new! I have also had sheepskin throws cleaned here in the past and they returned to me as beautiful and fluffy as when they were new. While I was there dropping off my rugs, I discovered they were having an anniversary sale with great savings. I needed a new runner for my hallway and chose several. They let me take them home to see what they looked like before I even purchased one. The one I wanted was too long and they shortened it for me. There is an expert rug tailor employed here that does beautiful work. I cant even see where it was cut. They also pick up and deliver, which is a bonus. These are very, very wonderful people who really care about their customers, do quality work, and have quality merchandise.

Today I picked up my thick wool Chinese Oriental rugs. They had been thoroughly washed (3 times) and had their fringe nicely trimmed. I was shocked and delighted at how luscious they looked. I am a long time customer of Asian Trade. I have purchased rugs and had rugs cleaned. The merchandise is always beautiful, high quality and interesting. The staff is always happy to turn rugs to view, they are polite and friendly. Likewise they will pick up your rugs and place them, moving furniture as needed once cleaned. As always very pleased.

I recently brought a few rugs in to be cleaned. I was greeted by Kaya (with a mask), he was very kind and knowledgeable. He knew everything about my rugs, where they were made..etc. One of the rugs had damage to the ends and he said he could fix it. I picked up my rugs and I have never seen them look better, so clean and bright! The damaged rug looks brand new, what an excellent job!! Cant wait to get my living room turkish rug done. I asked Asian Trade Company to clean two of our rugs, Kashan and Kermon. Their service and work was informative and cautious. I was invited for a tour in their facility and got a lesson on how to clean a carpet with save soaps. They moved my furniture off of the rugs and replaced them with great care when they returned them. The rugs look like new, the fringes are white again and the rugs are free of dirt. Wonderful experience here recently. My wife and I were looking to clean one of our rugs. Which Asian Trade Rug Company did great job of this including repairs to the rug. Additionally they blew us away with their wide selection of new and vintage rugs with extremely affordable pricing. They allowed us to take several rugs home to “live with” for a while. They cleaned and provided new pads for a number of our antique handwoven rugs. The staff members were helpful, friendly, and professional when we dropped off the rugs, and when they delivered them back to us, they were extremely helpful in placing the rugs and pads exactly where we wanted them.
