Nice place, covid friendly stylist listens and does exactly what you want. If you prefer they not do something they take no offense. Very Professional! If there was a negative to post it would be the corporate pricing $18 for a mens cut (in & out)! Combine that with a tip and its a bit high for a 20 minute cut - just saying. Though I get the perfect cut!

I was trying to grow out my hair from the last stylist who gave me a poor haircut here. It took me 4 months to get it to reasonable length. I decided to go back for a trim and told the stylist I was growing it out. What does she do? Layer it again into short layers. It’s unfortunate because I like to give my business to some of the young stylists starting out. Unfortunately some of them don’t seem to listen to what type of cut you want and do whatever style they feel like doing. I’ve been going there for several years because they’re reasonable and did a good job. After the last 2 experiences, I won’t be going back.

I went in as a walk-in and had my hair cut and highlighted by Q. She was lovely. While my hair was processing she had several people walk-in for cuts (men) and every one of them complemented on how nice their hair was. She took the time to make sure that my hair was the way I wanted it. I tend to pull reds/brassy tones and she did an extra step to make sure that that didnt happen. The price was good and I love my new hair!! Great job, Q!

I went there a couple weeks ago and I asked for high lights on my darker hair and Q bleached my whole head blonde never going there again! $185 for me to just get it fixed somewhere else. Hope she gets fired but if you go don’t get Q she’s horrible and go look at my hair on the latest photo posts

I don’t know the name of the girl I got, she seemed new though. Although she was very very nice and respectful she didn’t respect my hair. I asked for a shorter in the back and longer in the front bob (mentioned A-line and everything, something I’ve heard my previous hairstylist say) she proceeded to chop off a large amount in the front of my hair and stated she did it for my frame, but it was not what I asked for at all. Meanwhile, she cut my hair with the part to the side instead of the middle (unsure if I needed to state it sooner but it made my hair uneven on both sides) and I don’t even want to talk about my bangs. Who twists bangs to cut them??? I paid to not start a scene but y’all this is really the worst haircut I’ve gotten.

In preparation for a sudden business trip, I decided to stop in for a color touch up and cut. I was very pleased with the service that Q provided and I got a ton of compliments from my colleagues and family. I would highly recommend Q for your next hair appointment!

I called ahead, said they weren’t busy and to come over. A blond lady receptionist ignored us, then finally said to sign in. Then she started talking to the hairdresser about something, while she was finishing up a customer. There was one other person getting a color by another hair dresser. Nobody else was in there. Finally the hairdresser tells us she’s sorry, she’ll be right with us, then she blabbed on to the receptionist. Then she told us she’s sorry and would be right with us. Then she, and the receptionist walked into the back and left us out there. We finally left. I think somebody needs to get high too much on the job. Bad vibes! No stars, no service

I have been going here for a few years now. I usually only stay with a hairdresser for a year or so because I eventually become dissatisfied with my cuts. However, Tanya gives me the best cuts Ive ever had. She really listens and takes her time with the style until she gets it just right! Love her!! Lastly, their prices are great...much less expensive than other salons.

I went in to get my grey hair touched up and get a pixie cut. They were dishonest about the chemicals they put in my hair. I heard two stylists talking, they ran out of what they would need for my hair, so they just threw whatever they could think of in my hair. I wanted steel grey. It is blue. Blue. They lied and told me it would fade to my ideal color after a few washes. They also didnt take my hair texture into consideration, so my pixie cut makes me look like a literal troll doll. I have to get my hair fixed elsewhere. When I consulted with another stylist, she was shocked at how poorly my hair was cut, not just the look, but the technical skill. I was charged for this, and the salon refused to issue a refund, they only wanted me to come in so they could fix it themselves. Sorry, no, Ill only let you ruin my hair once. The prices are far too high for the skill shown.

Happened to need a haircut and was driving by I am glad I did, Jenna did a great job! The shop is located behind the Pioneer bank. I was met with no wait, the shop was clean and everyone with whom I spoke with was friendly. 5 stars

I started coming here in May when Michael Kenyon was here. He is the BEST hairdresser and Barber we’ve ever had! My entire family likes him. My son who always LOVED his hair and received lots of compliments, but MIchael Kenyon DISAPPEARED!! Does anyone here know where he went please? I would be so grateful if you can help :)

This used to be a good place to come to for a quick walk in appointment. Unfortunately the woman who did my hair was, I think, on drugs and kept disappearing to the bathroom, and not only wasnt listening to the woman who got her hair cut before me, but proceeded to yank my head around while shampooing it and actually hurt my head. She was also the only one there. There should never only be one person in a salon that does walk-ins. In short, this place seems trashy now and I think Im just going to start going to a spa to get my hair done instead.

Honestly. BEST HAIRCUT EVER! I always have trouble finding good places to go. I had just found a good stylist in Vermont but I moved back into the area and thought I was screwed. But then...I won a gift certificate. If it wasnt for that I never would have found this place. Beth cut my hair. Shes the best. I had a certain style that I wanted and she nailed it. Definitely check it out. You wont be disappointed.

Bridgette was my hair stylist. She did a poor job to put it lightly. The top of my head has hair with different lengths. Longer parts stick out among shorter parts. My sideburns are not even. I had to even them out myself. One sideburn was slanted...are you kidding me? The right side of my head was blended nicely from top to side. However, the left side of my head was not blended well at all. It looks curvy like adjacent hills.Bridgette was nice, but slightly awkward. She did not talk much unless I instigated conversation.I was not welcomed in. I just walked in and was told to sign the Walk-in sheet. No Hello. No How are you? When Bridgette called me up, she did not ask me my name and did not offer a handshake. She just waved me over as if thinking, Lets get this over with.She shampooed my hair at the end and left my hair in a bit of a mess so I could not really tell how bad my hair looked.I would not recommend any business whos employees do not give a full effort in serving their clients. Just do your job.

I highly recommend this salon! I have been going to 3 of the locations (East Greenbush, Brunswick, and Loudonville) for many years. Tanya is incredible with my 3 children. I have pictures of her cutting my not-so cooperative son’s hair when he was two and wouldn’t stay in the seat. She knew just how to talk/distract him and is the only person he wants to cut his hair. He also has a odd hair line and is now 10 and she always makes his hair look great. I know most people post reviews to say negative things, but I have referred at least a dozen people who would also report only glowing reviews! My friend went to her for an up do for a wedding several years ago and still talks about it being the best one she ever had! Thank you Tanya and your super friendly and talented staff!

Great place, nice staff but $16 haircuts so be prepared for that. They do a good job though so worth it in the end.

Horrible. Went there last minute to get a trim. The manager cut my layers incredibly choppy and uneven. More upset with myself for even thinking this place would do a decent job.

One woman who cut my hair made it uneven and now that its growing in, Im noticing the back of my hair and sides are not even at all. She wouldnt cut my hair the way the picture was I wanted and said shed instead cut it so it doesnt make me look like a boy. I live it until I realized what she did. If you are made to pay $25 for a cut it should be worth it and be cut right. My girl Ashley wasnt there so I had someone else cut my hair. The place looks nice but the chairs are falling apart, foam coming out and everything. If we are paying so much for cuts and products then the chairs should look presentable

I have learned that these guys give better haircuts then anywhere else! I will definitely return

I came in with long damaged hair and only a vague idea of what I wanted with no picture, but Que was wonderful and talked me through everything and gave me exactly the awesome haircut I wanted. She was so meticulous and precise to make sure I loved it and got exactly what I wanted!

Decent haircuts, though the one barber only works certain days, and one older female worker has such a heavy old world accent that I cannot be sure she understands me all the time. I always seem to get her when the barber is not in.

My Husband tried to get his hair cut his morning 12/19/17 and the girl acted like she was on something and refused to cut it shorter the way he wanted it. She went ad far as to tell him no Im not going to cut it any shorter. First time in 10 years that he was not satisfied.

Nightmare! Theres only one person there at a time and she butchered me. She gave me a buzz cut bc she has NO idea how to feather short hair! I look awful! She didnt even tell me she had no idea what she was doing.

Great conversation and solid mens haircut

I give only a TWO based on a recent experience. I have gone here off and on mainly for haircuts. I went a few months ago and got a foil job which was amazing. I had an appointment the other evening for a color and cut. The person that did me seemed t be somewhat new and unsure compared to the other hair stylist. I wanted a full color, one color. I had root grow out and it was dark brown. Stylist had to hit it as she called it. I guess lighten or bleach. She then put the actually hair color on. She was running around trying to cut other peoples hair that were walk ins. Rushing along it seemed. She took the color off and said the top root area was wayyy too gold and she would have to use a toner. when i got to the chair to have her cut i was concerned. My hair looked much darker than the blonde color i had requested. I asked the other hairstylist, doesnt this look brownish? She said no. I got my hair cut and, the girl was attempting to style. When i got home that night, an area of my hair by the right side seemed straw like. ALmost if it had been overprocessed. I then noticed my hair was a few colors, including bottom left piece that was brown. I sent message to manager. I received call today that they wanted to help me. They advised me that this stylist is one of the newer ones. She told me to see the supervisor today. I went in and showed my hair. After looking at it and saying that, yes, there is gold, yes there is some brown and this and that. I was basically told that if i wanted them to fix anything they would. But wait a week for the toner to fade out. I spent $80 on my hair that i could have come out at home better! No offer of, hey instead of putting MORE chemicals on your hair and damaging, here is special salon product to help with freshly colored hair. Or something! Why should i have to wait a week for anything? And if so - refund part of the money at least!

Such a bad haircut I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. The woman at the new salon said I dont think the person who gave you this cut was even licensed! Worst haircut Ive ever had.

I was going to get a haircut at around 7:45 which is still about 45 minutes till the close and when I drove by it was closed I would never ever recommend this hair studio for anything, since they can not even stay open.
