All I can say is: “meh”. Been treated better at other dealerships before. First of all, I can tell right away by the way people communicate on the phone (where it’s easy to quickly dismiss people) what kind of personality they have, and it seemed like I wasn’t proven wrong on my assumption - they’re cold. Unfortunately, it’s a seller’s market currently and salespeople don’t necessarily have to be friendly and warm because they know their cars will sell regardless. My salesman was Bill Ladd; he was direct and straight to the point which, while I do appreciate it, it can come off as cold and intimidating - most people are already scared to walk into a dealership to begin with. I think by the last time he saw me, I was able to actually catch him throw a half-smirk, but that was most probably because of the commission he had just earned from my purchase.Regardless, what you see is what you get. The car I bought at the listed price was priced very fairly and on the lower end of the market range. This is a no-negotiation/haggling dealership. The car was in very good conditions and everything under the hood was pristine but that’s more of a reflection of Honda than the dealer’s service department. I wasn’t attempted to be upsold on anything, though, and like I said, everything was straight forward with no hidden “gotcha’s”.However, the financial guy, he was definitely a prime-grade jackass. I could tell he was upset because I used an outside loan as opposed to going with the dealer’s in-house financing; but how stupid do you think people are to walk in without a pre-arranged loan so that the finance guy can take advantage of the situation? He couldn’t even get down to the rate I got from DCU - 1.49%. But because he wasn’t making any profit off of me, he was giving me the cold shoulder treatment. In hindsight, it’s funny that a grown man exhibits such behavior, and even my salesman pointed out that the finance guy is usually a jerk.In conclusion, if you want straight to the chase no bs, go here. If you want to feel at ease, comfortable, and welcome, look for another place.

This is a review of the service shop.Ill preface by saying that I used to be an Engineering Design Chief at Honda R&D in Raymond, OH. I understand how the Service department works at Honda dealerships and did a rotation at a dealership as part of my own training a decade ago. There are good dealerships and there are bad ones. This is a bad one - you shouldnt waste your money coming here, and they dont deserve your money.My husbands CR-V wiper motor burned out - prior to it burning out, he brought it in to be serviced and mentioned that they were making a strange sound. Paid $750 for an oil change, inspections, and some miscellaneous items that really didnt need to be done, but nothing for the wipers, except that they changed the blades. Nobody even looked into the problem, and a week later, they completely seized up - during our drive to Texas, at nighttime in the rain. Wipers are a safety item, for obvious reasons. When we came back, we asked them to make it right.The service manager, Kens, offer? 15% off - for putting us in harms way just because the service advisor didnt write the problem down correctly. Thats not the Honda way.

I was looking to change my Civic for a SUV. John Yost had helped me a few years ago to buy the Civic. I had such a great experience with him that I reached back out to him again. We talked and emailed about different options and my budget which was super important. We found the best solution for me, leasing a CR-V Hybrid. I’m so happy with my vehicle! My dog clearly is too! Especially because we kept my same financing payment which was KEY for me, and I even got money back from trading in my Civic. John took the time to go over all the features with me, and I felt so comfortable driving away in it. I even came back cause I had forgotten how to do the remote start, and John kindly showed me again. Honestly, he made the experience so easy and fantastic. The whole process took about a week. I recently bought a used Honda at Troy Honda. My salesman was Will Ladd. Will was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the entire process. He didnt treat me like some other sales persons might treat a female. He answered all of my questions and talked me through the process. After I bought the vehicle, I had a family emergency and had to be out of state for a few weeks and my car still had its temporary tags. Will took the time and effort to overnight my new plates to me! I love my car and I would recommend Troy Honda to anyone! Thanks for the great service!

This is a review of the service shop.God help you if something goes wrong with your car. Took it in with under 9,000 miles (ions ahead of warranty expiration) and they were trying to give me a hard time finding any reason to say I voided the warranty, werent even the least bit helpful, and were just condescending over the phone. They wanted me to authorize a $1,500 payment so they could figure out if something was the problem. I picked my car up and it took me 10 minutes to realize what the problem was, and it was NOT what they thought it was or were trying to get me to pay money for. After these wallet vultures are done with you, you wont even be able to pay your electric bill to write a review.(Would also like to mention this is the first time I have ever left a review on anything, and am a very easy going guy... which holds some weight in this scenario)

I usually get my oil change here since 2013 with coupons they used to send out but the price went up I guess after the pandemic I question Rick about it because I only had enough for what I used to pay for an oil change at the end of my visit he gave me 10% off my balance which was nice but unaware of the reward points the cashier said I had change back in my pocket.

This is a review of the service shop and not the sales side of this dealership. First of all, getting an appointment itself is tough because when you call, a lady picks up the phone and as soon as you say that you want an appointment, she presses a button and directs the call to the service shop guys and since they are always busy, you just keep waiting until someone picks up. The website has a page where you can schedule an appointment but you still have to call to confirm the appointment. Then there is the problem with the service shop itself. They are really not interested in your Honda vehicle if it’s out of warranty or too old. They will never say it but they do their best to complicate things and charge you more for ever more repairs and keep asking you to make further appointments for those repairs. Since this keeps taking ever more of your time and money for highly inefficient service, you end up ditching your Honda and asking to take a look at the new vehicle. The goal of the service shop is to direct you to the sales department. It doesn’t matter that your Honda may still have another four or five years in it. I am not sure I will consider this place again for repairs.

I’ve been bring in my Honda here for 2 years now and every time I’ve had an issue the people there are always willing to help me out. From a broken axel to destroyed brake lights I’ve never had a problem with the service. Just today I came in with a front bumper nearly hanging off my car and they had no problems helping me pin it back up and securing it in place though that’s usually not the type of work they do. It’s not everyday you come across a service and repair team that aren’t trying to price gouge you at every turn. You can’t go wrong going here. I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am to these guys.

Very poor customer service. I took my vehicle for the first time this weekend and I would never go back.First of all, they dont have an online scheduling system - all they have is a web form where you can pit down your request for scheduling and it says you will get a call back in 12hrs which never happened. So I called them up and schedule by phone - again, no text or phone confirmation.On the day of the appointment, I called up in the morning to confirm my slot but no one answered my call nor responded to my voicemail - eventually i ended up arriving 20mins late for which I was questioned as if I made a big mistake.And they add COVID sanitization fee but not sure what they didThe representative that I dealt with Rich Smiley was so rude and doesn’t know how to deal with customers. Please avoid this place

So unprofessional- I was so disappointed at the customer service I received today. I went to lease a car and from the start, the employees looked at me like a bug and ignored me. I had to approach someone- which is no problem, but the guy seemed very uninterested in his tone and manner and rolled his eyes several times. I was being polite and respectful- I have a lot of experience in leasing a car. In the midst of observing some cars and comparing the prices, the guy who was helping us left in the middle and started to help somebody else. Since the guy left, I approached another employee and started to explain why I was there when the guy came back and asked “What are you doing?!” in a ridiculing tone. My overall experience was so horrible and disappointing that I stormed off to my car, stating that I’ll go to Toyota. I looked back and saw the guy spraying alcohol in the store. He was Black, had a big stature, and was so condescending in his tone. I went to Toyota and received such a different and polite service. They looked professional and were eager to help while the guy seemed uninterested and was wearing a worn jacket. Pleased by the deals and service, I happily leased a car there. I don’t know if it’s because I’m Asian that I received this kind of service but I’m so disappointed- I wasn’t joking when I said I wanted to lease a car. I would give 0 stars if I could and will never go back. I recommend people to not go- there are tons of other places you can go. Nobody deserves this experience.

This by far is the best car dealership around. I went there with my mom. She was looking for a new car. After visiting several different dealerships we stopped in here just to look. She found a crv she liked.. The salesman was super helpful and went above and beyond explaining all the features of the car. He was so patient answering questions 2 and 3 times. He didnt try to pressure her into anything. After she test drove the car. She decided she wanted it. The salesman took time to set up her phone to the Bluetooth radio.. Had the car completely detailed.. Filled with gas. Just absolutely an awesome car buying experience.👍👍👍👍

$3 HIDDEN COVID SANITIZATION FEE CHARGED !!! They NEVER told me that I would be charged with this beforehand. I went to Tamaroff Honda in Southfield a month or two before, and they didnt charge anything like this. I wouldnt have visited this place if I had known this. Why is Troy Honda charging this hidden fee that other Honda shops are not charging? I purchased my honda from this dealership and I feel so ripped off. STOP RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS. AVOID this place at all costs.

Today I met with Bill D and was not happy with the interaction. I came in knowing what car I wanted to see and eager to talk more about the car.However Bill sent me on a test drive and after asked me how I felt about it and said I would love to see if we can talk about the price being higher then average. Bill just said no we dont work with pricing and sent me off.I was interested in talking about pricing and more about the vehicle but Bill was not and I am no longer interested in dealing with him either. Hopefully this dealership can see that Bill does not help them make sales and replace him with someone who is willing to talk to everyone.

I do not recommend anyone patronize this establishment. It took them 5 days to get back to me with an approval to purchase a new vehicle . Dan the sales manager was unprofessional and borderline unethical when he offered me a rate of 13% on a new car purchase I naturally asked what bank the approval was with and he responded with why am I asking? He then refused to disclose the name of the bank. I asked for the GM to call me and of course no one called. Please take your business elsewhere.

Not good, took my accord in for 2 recalls . They did not preform all the tasks on the recall list . I also needed an oilchange, starter, alignment, headlight bulb and washer fluid top off. All things they could have easily seen and asked to change/replace. Just lazy in my opinion

Salesman Tom Robinson was excellent. COVID-19 stay-at-home mandate was in full force in Michigan, but the Troy Honda website made it easy to do as much shopping as I could online, as well as get an idea of what my trade-in would be worth. I had previously test driven the 20 CR-V EX, so already knew what I wanted. Tom was quick to respond to my questions and concerns via text and email, and gave good direction. Hes very polite! The finance manager was very nice, professional and easy to work with. He didnt do a hard sell for the extra dent/paint/windshield damage protection, which I know he has to offer. I didnt opt to purchase those.

After telling him an actual trade in offer I had for my car he told me to “Well go there then” in the most disrespectful tone and hung up the phone.I don’t like leaving bad reviews on google but I made an exception for this guy. Happy with the service. My 2013 CRV was making rattling sound on cold start. I was told it would cost me some $170 for the diagnostics. I left the car overnight at the dealership.I received a call the same evening that the technician is sure about the sound and they dont need to run any diagnostics. They waived the fee as well. The car was ready to be picked up next morning. I never heard the rattle again. Very timely and honest. Thank you for the great service.

I got a fast & convenient appointment time; service team was timely & professional. The service waiting area is not as nice as other Honda dealers I’ve been to, but it is clean and was set up for social distancing protocols. I did not expect my car to be washed before it was returned to me, but it was- a much appreciated extra touch!

The servicing department staff is always attentive making sure weve been helped when dropping or picking up our vehicle. Rich is our servicing contact and is always on top of what is needed and what the status is of our two Hondas. He is friendly and professional, caring and helpful, and well, just everything to help us and service our Accord and Odyssey. And then speaking of extra, when we picked up our van after a snowy day, he went outside to clear off the snow and warm it up for us!!
