Amen to get four new tires we had one leaky Tire when we got here they said her car was all set with sitting on a flat Brand Tire and then they proceeded to tell us how we needed three new rims when they beat two of the rim to death it looks like you get off the car. Unbelievable I have never ever had a problem with Sears I have been coming here for 25 years and never had a problem until today and I have low profile tires so my rims are expensive. Here I thought I was getting my tires and I was spending $600 and now I need $800 in rims because they ruin them. Ill be calling corporate Im finding out exactly how theyre going to take care of this issue because its a problem that they did and they know it.

This is Sears auto as it is meant to be. I Made the appointment online, was sent confirmation emails confirming the appointment. The staff is courteous, especially Kimberly. I purchased tires for both Cars almost a Year ago, and Kimberly remembered me and took care of the flat promptly.

From the manager (Mr. David Junior) down to the person taking care of my car, I have always been welcomed and treated fairly. They are very friendly, timely, and very honest. Couple days ago I went to Sears With my Car . My car tire is making noise so I went there and tell them to check this out what happened.They check everything they give me the estimate I decide to Come back later.So the sales man tell me OK let me take your car out for you.Hey give me car in a minute and They open the tire to check the shocks but when they put it back they don’t put the Breaks perfectly. I was driving to home and I had Accident because the brake get stuck with my tire.Can you believe that I have my Four years old son with me and my whole family. I go back to their store to complain about the incidents that guy was in reception he don’t even say sorry at all When I tell him The whole story he says OK I can’t give you a refund you have to come tomorrow the manager will be here. I don’t even ask you for a refund I just want to complain because you guys 🤷‍♂️ Don’t care about the Safety. Then I go back next day to meet the manager and the same guy he told me again the manager is not here come back tomorrow. I want to ask the manager the boss or CEO from the business that’s how are you guys teach your employees to do service and behave with your customer can you put my life on a risk. Just unbelievable

Mr James said it best: slow, unhelpful, and incompetent. Took 10 minutes for the two people milling back and fourth at the desk to even begin rendering service, then took another 20 minutes to bring out some wiper blades I had ordered to be picked up... not sure if they were just playing hide and seek in the stock room, but it shouldnt take 30 minutes to pick up an online order.They finally find the wipers, and two of the 5 I had ordered (2 front sets, single rear) were missing. They did bring a substitute wiper blades to the counter as a fill in, but at this point I would have taken a refund if there wasnt two other people waiting behind me for 10+ minutes with no employees to be found. Kudos to the substitute wipers, but the service is incredibly lacking.

Class act and professional is how i sum up my experience with Mike(y). The mechanics did an outstanding and thorough job. Mike(y) and Mr. Mike Shultz have been repairing my Nissan and Dakota for years without fail-- I miss the Roseville location-- but Troy location will do just fine. An all around 5 star experience-- thank you.

Went here on a Saturday, they were the only place open untill 6pm and said theyd be able to service me. Theyre also open on Sundays which is a plus! They told me it was a 2 hour wait to even look at my car, which was allot quicker then most places other shops that were backed up for days. 2 hours went by and my repair was complete! My power steering is working like its supposed to again! Good pricing too! Only issue I had was the people inside at the desk. They were inattentive and really slow. There were two people in line ahead of me and it took almost a half hour for me to be seen. I just got a bad vibe from the service desk people but other then that happy with how today went!

Very costly for a repair at the Troy location. Shop around 1st. Took my car in for brake work. Was told needed pads. Upon picking my car up, to my surprise. I paid $800.00. The break down was $509.00 for the most expensive parts the technician decided without my opinion to put on. $359.00 for labor with a $50.00 deduction for using my Sears blue card. I will never use die hard again. I recognize a scam and con job. I warn any person not to use this company. You shouldnt use your core base, because of a failing company which I supported my entire 40 years or longer. Im done!

Leaving review solely based on over the phone customer service experience. Called to get a quote for a tire and rep refused, just kept saying the price wouldn’t be accurate until he has the car there. Every other tire shop is able to give a price based on the tire size and car make/model. Whoever answered the phone refused to take info and was extremely rude. Will not be taking my business here based on this interaction.

Strongly recommend against using these guys. On hold for 11 minutes when I called then was sent to some automated service telling me to enter my partys extension. Called three times before I finally told the lady to stop putting me on HOLD!!! THE WORST! I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS!

Not sure what happened in the last few weeks. I took truck in for diagnostic check up, change serpentine belt and flush coolant. The vehicle was there all day. When I tried to ask about services done. The person at counter was very rude and dismissive. After that encounter my vehicle was acting and running worse than it was when I brought it in. I have attempted to call 3 times. I left 1 message last Saturday. No call back. I tried 2 more times this week and the call was disconnected. No answer. I dont have a new vehicle but I am trying to take care of it. This new management with a dismissive tone is terrible.:(

They are sooo unprepared. I made an appointment for a wheel alignment and a tire rotation. I was on time for the appointment, and they told me it will take 1.5 hrs.. a little bit much but I was understanding until it took 2.5 hrs and no one could tell me what the hell was going on. Probably won’t go there again. What is the purpose for an appointment??? Ugh!

Learn moreI know, it is the time of giving, the time of being good and forgetful but, today I had a very bad experience with the manager Davis or Devin(I couldnt see his badge to the end and the MANAGER wasnt written anywhere). Let me start from the beginning. In March this year, 2017, I bought a 2006 BMW X3 and the battery in it was 7 years old and I decided to buy a brand new battery(the same brand) from Sears. I bought from Sears many batteries for my cars and I was more than satisfied about the performance of the DieHard. The battery I bought in March this year failed on me in September when I had to recharge it. I must mention that I was driving my car every day and left the car in the airport parking lot for ONE WEEK ONLY. When I pick it up, the car started on the first key, no problems. Then September came and the battery died on me, I had to recharge it. Three days ago the battery died again and I decided to take it back to Sears where the manager told me that it is frozen and I have to leave it for 24 hours in order to be checked. I did that and today I went over to see whats going on. Should I mention that the battery is under warranty!? Now comes the bad part. The same manager told me that the battery is GOOD and I MUST take it home. I replied very kindly that I want to have a written statement of what it was done and the results of the checking like voltage, amps and so on. Then, abruptly, the manager told me to follow him in the shop where the battery is and showed me the tools they used to check and charge the battery. I said that i do HAVE A CHARGER home and I wouldnt come to Sears to charge my battery, I came to get a new one and better yet, I ask for an upgrade with me paying the difference. That was denied very sharply and I was told to take the battery out of there and if not, he will call SECURITY to force me to take it out. So DieHard center became a very police store, not polite.:) The manager gave me a piece of paper which states the wrong car and has nothing on it besides GOOD .So, dont go there, just pick another store.Zero stars for real bad management. Manager was rude by threatening me with calling the SECURITY to throw me out if I dont take the battery with me.I had to give it one star to be able to post it.01-04-2018This is an update to my review.Today I was contacted by the District Service manager in order to correct the problem. His name is Andrew (Andy) Milius. He was very kind and helpful and listened to my story from the beginning. He told me that the way the manager conducted business with me was unacceptable and not in the Sears way of dealing with the customers.He decided to change and upgrade the battery at no charge which is the normal way of conducting business for Sears. That is how I now Sears for more than 30 years. Nobody has the right to tarnish the Sears name by not doing his or hers job correctly. Tomorrow I will have to take the old battery to Sears as a core.Thank you Andy.

Dont waste your time here what-so-ever!!!! Or with any entity of Sears Holdings!!! Service desk associate nice, but Manager unwilling to use any discression or offer any courtesy to a long time Auto Center customer. He was only able to recite the company policy line and unable to exhibit any flexibility regarding warranty even with proof of an inferior Die Hard product from OReillys battery test device when it was still under warranty, this particular battery was warrantied on 07/31/2018 and failed COMPLETELY AFTER ONLY 8 MONTHS, IT WAS A BRAND NEW BATTERY THEN. He exemplified the typical Sears LACK of customer service whether dealing with them face-to-face in store, online, on the phone with Parts Direct or with their customer service, that had cost them customer loyalty and placed them in Bankruptcy. Sad, very, very sad, will not ever use their service centers or Die Hard products again. He also lied about Die Hard not being part of Sears Holdings anymore, but when I called the Die Hard contact us from the Die Hard website to try and get some sort of satisfaction, the call was routed to a Sears call center, Lying Mo Scratcher. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A COMPANY THAT STANDS BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL, THEN PLEASE SHOP WITH ANY PLACE OTHER THAN SEARS!!! BLOW ME SERVICE MANAGER!! YOUR MEASLY 10% WAS AN INSULT CONSIDERING THIS BATTERY ONLY LAST 8 MONTHS. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!

Manager is the most unprofessional individual I have seen in quite a while. I had made an appointment, but waited an hour in line just to speak with him. He had time to take a break and walk away from the service desk multiple times. When I arrived I was informed the work would not be done on that day because parts had to be ordered when he told me when I made the appointment they had the parts and it would be done. He was trying to get me to leave because they were 8 cars behind, something that could not come out of his mouth fast enough. When I told him I would take my business elsewhere he told me whatever. Never again will Sears, KMART, etc get a dime on my money.

This store stinks. You call, they dont answer. You show up at 8 am when the store opens and no one is there. Just bad service. No wonder many Sears stores and affiliates are closing.And when the store finally opened they only have one worker on the floor servicing 25 cars. Being the first to get my estimate that morning, the technician started servicing other customers than came in later. Its only after I went to complain to the manager that they finally stopped working on another car to come fix my tire. I dont mind waiting, but lets be fair and service customers the right way.Sadly I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Worst customer service ever. I used to go always to the dearborn one but it closed so i decided to go to the troy one to do an alignment for my truck. I took an appt i went in. I saw that my truck went in so i was happy but it turned out 3 hrs later it was just parked there inside sleeping and the manager dave is supposed to be inside telling them to work but he is just sitting at the desk talking also the lady at the front desk told me an hour and i told him she told me an hour he said no no no she did not tell you that so he is saying i am lying worst experience ever never coming back to sears after more than 10 years of going to them. no wonder why there closing

Very bad service and poor response to the customers over the phone and in-person. I went there for wheel alignment, they checked my battery and said that it is old (because they drained the whole charge) and they screwed up my speed sensors and ABS system. I got the check engine light as soon as I drove back home. I called them and told them that the light came on just after the wheel alignment (which is very well known from the error code from the OBD reader, they refused to accept and they were rude to me telling that it is not their problem.I strongly dont recommend to do wheel alignment there. They have technicians with poor experience and they will screw up your car. I would give 0 star if the google allows me to give them.

The worst customer service ever!!! I had to wait so many hours, then they charged me $20 labor for a free replacement battery that was under warranty. I already had to replace the battery one other time and there was no charge. Assistant manager fought with me in front of all of the customers! Very unprofessional and rude! I will be contacting the head office.

On October 26 2016 I called store to see if I could get sale price on tires from prior day because site froze and wasnt able to complete purchase I spoke to Boonam she did with no questions asked. She replied yes so I drove a hour away from home once I entered location NICK ask if needed help. Nick customer service was great and he went over and beyond I no longer bought tires I wanted but got better tires for less he went through computer and took his time. THIS STAFF AT HICKVILLE LOCATION ARE VERY OUTSTANDING AND NEED THIS PRAISE. THANKS AGAIN NICK AND BOONAM ILL BE SURE TO RETURN..

Ive never been more satisfied with an automotive repair shop! I did only come in for an oil change, that a groupon was purchased for prior to my visit, but I will be back soon! This place checked all the boxes, the guy at the front was fast and professional, every question I had was answered, a few laughs were even shared! The waiting room was VERY accommodating with vending machines, tv, FREE WI-FI, and a full view of what is going on with your car. This place was fast, friendly, and for the first time EVER I did not feel as though I was being misled or taken advantage of in a car repair shop. I did have an apointment for tires at discount tire for tomorrow, but we will be coming back to sears!

I made an appointment the day before and I was told oil changes take 30-45 minutes and if I brought it in earlier they could get in the system and Id be on my way. Wrong. I got there at 4:30 and at 5:00 they told me it wouldnt even be out until at least 6:15. I only brought it to this store because I was promised to be in and out so I could drive it to Chicago after. I would have taken it anywhere else. They wasted 30 minutes before telling me they were far behind. They told me to take my keys and leave if I couldnt wait. I would never go back, appointments mean nothing here to me or anyone else they were servicing.

After being quoted $25 for an oil change over the phone, upon arriving I waited 20 minutes at the counter for the cashier to fill out the proper paperwork and then tell me the oil change would be $40. Ive never waited so long and been charged so much for an oil change for a little 4 door car.

The mechanics are rude and they dont seem to want to work the posted hours that are listed in the store we got sent away before even scheduling our appointment we were told they were too busy and that the manager disappeared for 3 hours and that they didnt know where he was or if he would return.
